sansa and tyrion's marriage is interesting from tyrion's perspective. he is canny enough to understand that she is only saying things to please and mollify him, but he also genuinely thinks that she is "so dutiful" that she would tell him what she prays for in her frequent visits to the sept (and he thinks she's excessively pious). as the reader we know she's praying for lannister annihilation and would never admit this out loud, but tyrion doesn't seem to really... get that sansa hates him and his family. even after everything, the multiple beatings, being terrorized by joffrey, the entire forced marriage, THE MURDER OF HER DEAR BELOVED DAD - he has a perception of her as a simple dutiful girl whose inner world consists of piety and supplication. that her prayers are a form of resistance and escape doesn't occur to him. he also exercises a very similar lack of understanding with shae - he thinks she's angry with him bc she lost her jewels and silks, not bc she is scared of her unstable position.

you live next door to him in his apartment complex and he remembers you giving him a fresh batch of cookies after he officially returns to his apartment after the whole cat adams and jail situation. apparently you saw all the gift baskets and wanted to do something nice and he can’t stop thinking about it afterwards.

he finds out that you’re a college student at georgetown but in a separate department that he teaches so whenever he goes there to teach during his sabbatical he takes the scenic route and goes through your building. one day he comes home from work and sees a notice of eviction plastered on your door; you’ll be kicked out if you don’t pay $5000.

two days later you come knocking at his door with grateful tears running down your cheeks while clutching a letter— he payed off the entire sum. he’s hushing you gently, playing with your hair and letting you hug him while you babble out your thank you’s.

he’s then laughing when you ask him what he wants in return, shaking his head and brushing your hair away from your face. all he asks is for you to tell him if you need help with money— after all, he’s got lots of it to spare.

you follow him around like a lost puppy after that, and there’s some sort of sickly satisfaction he feels. he’s not breaking any rules. you’re both consenting adults and he doesn’t mind the way you batter your eyelashes when requesting for him to pay for your coffees or the way you press kisses to his cheeks as thanks. he thinks you’re lovely.

thinking about co-worker wonwoo slow burn au where he's kinda mean blunt and cold and doesn't talk to anyone about anything other than work but he always seems to be slightly kinder towards you and everyone sees it but you (you think he's just shy and quiet and that he's not this mean person everyone thinks he is but it's really only bcs he's somehow always softer when it comes to you). never attends company gatherings unless he knows alcohol would get involved bcs he somehow knows you always get extra excited during these events and will end up drinking beyond your limit (it's totally not bcs he overheard your friends talking in the pantry about how you got shitfaced at a dinner once and was left to find your way back by yourself bcs everyone else was also drunk) and he wants to make sure you get home safely. ofc his excuse would always be "it's on the way" — not that he owes anyone an explanation, and if someone else tries to hitch a ride saying their place is close to yours his answer would always be "sorry, car is full ". would somehow always be seated quietly next to you for the entire event and doesn't engage in the conversation happening around him. he isn't trying to hide his growing feelings for you whenever someone points out how he treats you differently than how he treats others though, he's actually genuinely confused as to what's happening to himself and what all these strange emotions he's experiencing actually meant.
