I am also getting myself into to mood to test my hand at boarding a pmv for my friend's cover#I think my thought for this was ''I should try and give her a more insectoid bodyplan''#which in this mostly means gently three-part body and six limbs (my favourite amount of limbs to draw rn)#actually almost gave her eight but didnt like how that silhouette came out so I mermaided her uh. abdomen I guess#though maybe next time I do this I should push that idea more. the head and torso are still very distinct for one unified part#I feel like one of my old attempts was onto something with like. a more horizontal body plan... well! live and learn etc#happy late mid autumn I guess. I should play with touys about it... I miss model kits. mayhaps...

so ive been thinking about this au ive wanted to make inspired by the incredible pogd au by @beluvbug for a while !!
this is a very self indulgent au based on pinkie dealing with the conflict of wanting to be taken seriously while also playing themselves down constantly as a way to please others, especially when it come to their identity as nonbinary and their disabilities
i was going to make the first post about this au a little comic but ironically the disabilities have made that a bit hard and i wanted to post something for it

Point of the thing. to me at least#BUT there are some themes that cross over really well#into the things i find the most most most interesting about aradia and jade and the differences between them#and how they cope with an environment that attacks their agency and like. responsibility. and resisting the established narrative. and. and#and okay TBH? yeah i drew jade in the rose bride fit. but frankly i could say some shit about EITHER of them in either role.#the themes are absolutely there like theres a connection im making in my brain here i swear im just struggling to articulate it#maybe once i finish the drawing i will have finished my rgu arajade thoughts as well.
