i've been working on this painting for over 3 months and i am exhausted 💀 so excited to be done with it. i'm really proud of it though!! it's definitely the most detailed painting i've done in quite some time.

We were so close to smoking not being cool anymore. We were so close. Then they flavored it mango and now it's taboo to criticize it anymore. As much as Mutiny/Thunder Bringer crushed me, of course Odysseus chose what he did. Even if we ignore Penelope for a minute (because of course he was going to choose her), Eurylochus and the rest of the men had pretty much given up on going home. "Ody, we're never gonna get to make it home, you know its true." Out of all of them, Odysseus was the only one who still had faith, who was still FIGHTING. And even after being betrayed by his men (who arguably only did so because he betrayed them first), he still tried to keep them alive! Right up until Zeus made him choose. And then it wasn't much of a choice. They'd already given up. And he had to get home.
