The god that gave him his magic.... AND despite all that he is still the gentle loving kind wise strategic guy we know and love so ...

-Ok so i was playing a good tav dwarf paladin romancing wyll, got my team of wyll/lae'zel/karlach, but lae'zel felt like the real main character of this story and honestly its what she deserves.

-got orpheus and turned him into a mind flayer sorry bro. and then the emperor gets angry and fights with the baddies. like gosh this guy sucks

-saved the day yadda yadda and lae'zel went away to guide her kind and LOOK SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND FOREVER i was so sad but i knew it was what she wanted but IT PAINS ME

-then gale leaves me to become a god, and then astarion gets attacked by the sun and runs away and im like wow this ending is such a downer everyone is leaving me

-AND THEN. KARLACH.......

-Ok so i cried like a baby like. i fucked up i dont know what i did wrogn i cant believe karlach is gonna die im SOBBING

-But wyll is like "WE CAN LIVE ALL FIGHTING DEMONS IN HELL" and got the coolest shit ever of these 3 going on adventures like you dont know HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS ENDING!!! im so happy aaah TOT

-then there is the epilogue and it's the cutest thing i can hug shadow heart and halsin and karlach :_) tried with astarion but i dont know if its impossible or i had him too low (every companion loves me but he finds me acceptable fgoihdgfjiodgio) anyways i wanted to hug all my friends

-gale is a god and like good for him but im like ??? damn we dont see his mission or anything he does this all off screen?? i wanted to see his struggles and stuff idk i wanted to see the FEELINGS

-anyways idk if i got a bug or something but when i get to talk with people about what i am doing is just me and karlach and 0 mention of wyll idk why TOT let me talk about my romantic companion pls

-also i had like 2 options to talk with romanced wyll and way more conver with astarion wich again i didnt even have very high on his love for me (i do love him and my chara frienenemy status tho) but why only 2 options for wyll i wanna talk with him moreeee at the end

-he did blow me a kiss it was the cutest thing tho

-Again idk if i got a bug but i never get anyone commenting on my relationship with wyll and i know the companions gossip about karlach and probs other charas >-<

-i heard a friend who had to kill karlach to get to see her gale ending so i tried in another save to see what happened (it was awful btw) and that was the only way to get an extra scene of wyll telling me to go for mizora and having other people aknowledge him in the epilogue (just with jaheira it lets me say wyll, with astarion and shadow heart they gave me answer like "oh im with my lover" and such instead of by name)

-i am a big fan of wyll but not so much of wyll missions, like they are fun to play but gosh i wanted the cool FEELINGS moments like lae'zel, shadow heart, astarion and karlach had, i feel he is straight up a classic hero tale and i want to see this man overwhelming with feelings of all the stuff he suffered. also more stuff with the dad idk i couldnt even tell him im with his son that could had been cool

-gale also feels like ???? he didnt have a proper mission and was like off screen wich is a bit weird to me ??

-my fav chara is wyll and then second lae'zel who is perfect 0 notes on her 100% increible. Then Do Not Make Me Choose for the other origin companions i cant. I love them so much. I didn't like astarion at first and i was like "really this is the man all my friends and everyone is obsessed about??" but then act 3 arrived and i was like Ah. I Get It Now. I would say my less fav is gale but because i didnt bring him anywhere so next game im def paying him more attention.

Yk, about shadowheart and lae'zel i've been noticing that sexual tension, and honesty, you are right about them.

I think gale has a thing for magic boots in particular, whenever i pass by and he's eating something, it's always a boot..like the other day he was devouring those boots that electrify water and i was afraid he was gonna electrify the water in his body and die, but he never refuses boots... curious uh?

Astarion and his blood bank are so sweet together..

Anyways everyone might say that Rolan is just a whiny bitch, and they would be true, but he's a very chaotic person at the end of the day. He's so stubborn you could enable him and just look at him fight with someone like a rabid cat, and that's a different level of entertainment right there.

He's Ace too, and definitely understands when you are repulsed by touch.

He will be there cheering on you as you refuse to follow rules, as you punch someone in the face for telling you what to do, like HE WILL OPENLY SUPPORT YOU IN PUNCHING THE GUARDS THAT GIVE YOU A WEIRD STARE.

He literally answers only with sarcasm so you are gonna be FED.. Your dark humor cracks him up, like you are gonna see him falling off chairs laughing.

Deep down he's actually a sweet and caring guy, and you find out because he will accept that free therapy, especially after you get rid of Lorroakan. He will literally pour it all out, he starts talking abt his sister, and ten minutes later he's sobbing in your arms talking about that time, when he was 6, that is the seed of his trust issues...

He will act all pissed when you ask him to join you for a walk or to play something with him, but deep down he does it out of habit.. he hates that his first instinct is to be a bitch, but he actually enjoys his time with you, and he will try anything you propose him.

qilyrr (drow warlock, she/her) was my first ea oc and still my main one. i've gotten farthest with her in the game. she's true neutral, not actively malicious but she is selfish and sometimes cruel and loves tricking/lying to/fucking with people. she hasnt lived in the underdark for years (as a con artist, she likes to work in bigger cities topside) but has a lot of fondness for it when she returns. she's romancing astarion.

maevan (halfling barbarian, she/they) is a competent ex-soldier who was at some point cursed(?) with wild magic. she's normally kind of shy except while in battle during her rages.

im waiting til I finish the campaign at least once before i play my dark urge oc, klixic (dragonborn sorcerer, she/he) so i have like nothing on him yet.

givni (half orc monk, she/her) is my nicest and most trusting oc of the lot, so she's gonna have fun with all her companions lmao. so far i plan to have her romance halsin but may do a poly romance with her if she vibes with any of the poly options.

vykon (githyanki ranger, they/him) has like no personality yet except that they like animals more than people.

grudore (duergar bard, she/her) is mainly just vibes right now. tough, intense and ambitious. and is probably gonna hate volo tbh. i plan for her to romance lae'zel.

retribution (tiefling paladin, they/them) is up in the air rn bc i designed them not realizing how similar they'd be to karlach's design (color scheme, hair highlights, etc). so i may redesign them. but for now they're very serious and very devoted to their oath of vengeance. they also have a strong sense of justice which can kind of conflict with their oath. was thinking of them romancing wyll.

spili (gnome druid, she/they/he) is also pretty undefined. don't have much on them.

and as for my two other ocs ive made since and actually have more of an idea about compared to some of the others

corinne (human cleric, noble, she/her) is well meaning but tends to be judgmental and stubborn in her worldview and is definitely gonna clash with shadowheart (also bc she's a cleric of selûne). idk if they'll eventually bridge the gap or not. she's gonna romance gale.

fer'ru (githyanki rogue, urchin, she/her) is a bit less harsh than lae'zel and also had a less regimented background but i still need to figure out exactly what her backstory is that will fit with githyanki lore. she is gonna romance shadowheart.

Its late and I can't sleep so have some fun facts about my tav

Her name is Katrice Taventridus Elwoyzorwyn (el-wuh-zor-win), she's a half wood elf wizard (nobility background) and as of the events of bg3 she's 55 years old. Her magical ability strength lies in elemental magic, namely fire ice and lightning. Her alignment is neutral good because she believes more in doing what is right rather than what is lawful, but only if she won't get caught

She grew up in Baldur's Gate in a very affluent family, she went to a magical academy and graduated at the top of her class in an effort to impress her parents (spoiler: it didn't work)

After Katrice graduated she tried to join her father's magical item importation business. He told her that not only did he not want her to join, but that if she did it would tarnish the reputation as an elven business because she was actually half human and an affair child

She decided (to prove to her dad herself that she could in fact do whatever she put her mind to, surprise biracial affair child or no, so she got herself a basic adventuring pack and set off for adventure. She then got zapped up by the nauteloid ship literally before she made it out of the main city gate

She's part of a playthru that I did multi-player with my wife who played a tiefling ranger (criminal background) named Valmaia, and we consider that our "canon" run. Katrice and Val butted heads a lot at the beginning but by the end of the game are good friends

She's 5'6", weighs about a hundred pounds soaking wet, and the only reason her STR is 10 is because I refuse to go lower on any stat at all ever

Katrice hoards scrolls and potions because "you never know!!" But because her potion bag gets heavy, she pawns it off on Astarion to carry.

She doesn't trust the dream visitor (who looks like her birth mom) and refuses to eat more tadpoles or to use the illithid power at all. Valmaia meanwhile is eating the tadpoles like candy. Modern day pickle giver vs pickle eater tbh

Katrice and Wyll end up falling in love over the course of the game, because they ran in similar social circles growing up. Because Katrice is twice Wyll's age, they never actually met, but they likely would've been childhood friends.

In my personal solo playthru with Katrice, I had her romance Astarion in a "I can fix him but maybe he'll corrupt me a little" kind of way, a "on my gods my parents would be SO disappointed in me for bringing home such a charlatan. Isnt that exciting" rebellion kind of way. (I'm now romancing him with my dark urge which is a whole other flavor of emotionally delicious)

Im playing with the idea of her birth mom (who went missing shortly after Katrice was born) having been one of Cazador's victims just for a little extra gut punch

She had to talk down shadowheart from killing the nightsong, astarion from committing mass murder so he can suntan, gale from trying to become a God, like that one meme of a guy struggling and tangled with three babies on leashes

After the events of bg3 Katrice is well funded as both a professional adventurer and recognized as a hero of the city, so she's able to buy a controlling interest in her father's company.

She also buys Cazador's mansion (since he's not using it anymore) and turns it into a tavern/inn that employs several of the vampire spawn that Astarion freed. They work and in exchange are given room and board and a safe blood supply from local butchers and donors. Astarion refuses to stay there but thinks the idea is hilarious.

Wyll, Valmaia, and Karlach went to Avernus to live in the House of Hope while they look more into a cure for Karlach. Katrice doesn't enjoy the long distance relationship thing but once she and Rolan set up a portal to the House of Hope from the top of Ramazith’s tower, its a little easier to go back and forth.

My wife and I are playing a 2 person DND style game where we're continuing this thread and are doing an Icewind Dale based story together, just rolling dice for how the plot goes. I'm insanely excited to keep going (and if anyone asks me about it ill just straight up share my campaign notes i love it)

i know bg3 is more than it’s romance feature but indulge me. if you recall my last play through before i restarted as durge i was down bad for Gale and Wyll was cute but i wasn’t seeing much progress there. anyways this play through i slept with Astarion (it kind of sucked??? pun not intended) but had my sights set on Shadowheart, it works bc im not evil per se, i’m resisting the urges, but i am rude and morally questionable and they’re compatible with that. so first person to come onto me was Lae’zel but i turned her down, it was pretty early and surprising, i didn’t find her attractive (i’m partial to larger noses), and also i didn’t have a good grip of her character and arc yet. anyways i didn’t “break up” with Astarion but it was pretty clear I was prioritizing Shadowheart and then I suddenly make it to the creche and I’m like, OH, Lae’zel is like, THE BEST character and has strangely similar trauma to me (irl, not durge) and also she comes off as mean and abrasive but she’s really compassionate?? and so now I have this full on crush on Lae’zel, I have pretty good approval with each companion but hers is as high as it possibly can be, but I’ve already turned her down at this point and I’m not restarting the entire game. My romance with Shadowheart is technically progressing and like the story is fine but I’m an evil videogame man who keeps wishing she was Lae’zel so I feel like I’m using the pixel lady while lusting after other pixel lady.

That being said, getting to see Lae’zel express her attraction to Wyll was really cute and funny. I luv them…

auntie ethel gave me her hair to eat and ran away. i honestly might take her deal this playthru lol (her third act one)

i just avoided the zhentharim in act 1 and so lady jannith is just having an art show in her estate and oskar forges art for the zhentharim now (happy ending, no annoying quest line)

taking jaheira to sarevok yields new dialogue. i can't wait to play resist durge with jaheira and minsc

i found a way to the mindflayer colony in moonrise towers before the final battle but it's like, the outskirts of it, which is still cool

i ended up doing battle w the absolute cultists in the mindflayer colony

we killed the rats in the shar area and didn't get astarion anything out of it but we're discovering the ritual shit in act 3

i love being an oathbreaker, it's so much fun.

also i found a head you can talk to (weird)

ok, so idk what the deal w mol is...but like, i think i may or may not have managed to get her out of a pact w raphael??? so previous game where i had her survive to act 3, she shows up w 2 perfectly good eyes, but for this one, she still had an eyepatch on. idk lol. i will probably make my way over the the house of hope (on tactician....ripppp)

also i found out shadowheart only has 2 romance scenes???? i thought she had 3???? gale, karlach, astarion, and lae'zel all have 3. wyll has 2 cuz he is very obviously sidelined (i love him but he very much feels intertwined with karlach hella and their stories do not feel satisfying w/o each other). minthara has 1 explicitly romantic/sexual scene and then like, a few conversations in act 2 and 3. and then halsin has....his scene😏. but like...shadowheart only having 2 scenes is so weird...like i thought she was the devs second favourite. wtf....(maybe that's lae'zel tbh). but like, 100% some origin companions feel more relevant than others and some feel more "complete" than others. im just kind of surprised that out of the 6 origin characters, only 4 of them have like, romantic camp interactions for all 3 acts. granted act 2 is a pretty stressful act for shadowheart granted the penultimate part of the act is her ultimate decision so it makes sense for her to not have time for romance during that act (but you have her reconciliation scene)

speaking of Wyll, i do definitely get Gregory vibes from him. like, the fact that he’s a runaway noble who was forced to run bc he sacrificed himself (or at least his soul via a pact)…. big martyr vibes. and now he just goes around helping the downtrodden for no reason other than that it’s the right thing to do?? ABSOLUTELY Gregory. but i will say that the way Gale talks is more Gregory’s vibe.

Christophe….. idk honestly. i will say I’ve seen that one foreign kids in bg3 crossover thing that has Christophe as Shadowheart and i think that is pretty much the MOST wrong choice lol. i know she has trauma with wolves and Christophe has trauma with guard dogs but that’s where the similarities end. Shadowheart’s a cleric. her whole thing about devotion to a goddess. Christophe’s arguably biggest defining character trait is his hatred for God. if i had to pick a main companion person to align Christophe with it’d maybe be Karlach..? but idk. maybe he’s not meant to be in a bg3 AU.

for general SPxbg3 and not just my two main SP boys tho, I really vibe with the idea of Stan as Halsin… strong, kind, loves animals 🥰 kind of the perfect fit! also the fact that he’s a bear and finn has all the art with post covid Stan as a big ol bear. for Kyle, my heart wants to say Astarion since i love vamp Kyle and for style/halstarion reasons BUT Kyle is not as mean spirited as Astarion is at first ofc so i think he’s sort of similar to Gale..? well meaning but comes off as kind of pretentious, bad luck in romance, and kind of a nerd.

Kenny is Karlach, no doubt about it. loves to party and dance, excellent vibes, but cursed in ways that involve destruction of their bodies. circling back to Astarion, honestly i think this could be Craig! i mean, Damien fits really well too but i’m trying to think of more major characters for this theoretically crossover lol. Wendy seems like an obvious choice for Shadowheart visually at least, but i think she’s a bit more like Wyll! assuming that it’s not Gregory haha. they both care deeply about issues of justice and are willing to fight for what’s right. Shadowheart then i feel could be Bebe… both perfectly bitchy but also badass. and tell me Bebe wouldn’t be the type to cut and dye her hair after a dramatic moment!!

then there’s Lae’zel who honestly I’m a bit stuck on 😅 to be frank she’s my least favorite character so far. the tav my friend and i have is a cleric of lathander who believed that the guardian in the prism was his god (before learning The Truth lmao) so the combination of the githyanki occupying the temple of Lathander and wanting to kill the guardian made me not like her much. but maybe she could be Red bc Red is my favorite SP girl so that will help endear her to me 🥰

i know nothing about Minthara bc my friend loves Halsin so we killed Minthara basically the moment we met her. doesn’t help that she’s a drow and personally as a D&D player I hate dealing with drow. come back to me about her when i play on my own and don’t kill her straight away.

okay - not sure if i did something wrong or whatever but the ending for bg3 was so incredibly anticlimactic for me? the fight was not that hard (expected from me being on explorer, but tbh there were other fights in the game that were harder?), and ended rly abruptly.

and then the conversations w all my companions was so weird?? lae'zel left immediately on her dragon, gale went away to get his crown, astarion was burned by the sun and ran away. the only people who were sort of sticking around were jaheira and halsin ?? bc karlach then had a rly sad scene of being like im gonna die.

and then - i realize this is sort of on me - but i thought that my LI would join me in avernus if i went down there? but i agreed to join karlach and wyll down in avernus and just. immediately left? no time to say goodbye to anyone? like ik her engine was falling apart but it couldntve lasted another like... hour? we couldn't have gathered under an overhang so that astarion didn't get burned right away? did lae'zel need to leave right then and there??

idk it felt so rushed, i was expecting some kind of celebration that i could attend, where id be able to decide a bit more slowly what i wanted to do lmao

oh and also after joining karlach and wyll the game acted like now i was in a relationship with karlach?? and had completely broken up with astarion?? even tho i was romancing astarion for the entire rest of the game?? there was not even any mention of our relationship at the reunion lol he just was like ah nice to see you :)

IT'S SO FUN RIGHT? I have like uhhhhh maybe over 600 hours in it (we don't need to talk about that). so far in bg3 ive beaten the goblin camp and am holding off on doing the tiefling party until i get more affection. (im TOO indecisive and aroallo and polyam for this what do you MEAN i cant just sleep w any of the characters i want without having to get into their full on romance routes. dont tell me every single one of these characters wants that deep emotional connection or w/e like come on 😭) and i have id say. more than half the companions now? so recording my thoughts. normally i make little posts while i game but bg3 is so addicting i couldnt even open tumblr to talk abt it. i played it for almost 12 hours i think today (with breaks in between but STILL). which is why this is so long im rambling abt everything since i started the game

i feel like me and shadowheart have a good thing going rn if she were more physically my type i think id be certain on romancing her. im attached to her we’ve been together since the start of the game (i didnt find any of the other companions until after i went to the druid grove and had made it to the goblin camp LMAO i didnt realize they were all just right there). shes very pragmatic but i also notice she approves occasionally when im nice. i like her <3 we’re besties we’re a Team

i found astarion second and. yeah i get why hes tumblr’s favorite. hes an evil flirty fruity vampire. he has white hair and pronouns. that bloodsucking scene might as well have just been a sex scene. i enjoy him in my party (actually hes my fav character to play as, i love dashing around and stabbing and vampire biting people. i originally thought id have him as kind of a spellcaster but i even paid to respec him to have more mobility spells/traits. also hes my go-to for picking locks and disarming traps, w items and keeping him fed ive gotten him up to +7 sleight of hand, it was 9 before but i think i might have accidentally removed a bonus when respeccing him lmao. hes like the most useful of my party outside of combat. anyway) and im a lesbian but im literally torn on whether or not i should accept his proposition at the tiefling party bc hes just so entertaining. i might full on romance him in another save. but the thing w him is that im a monsterfucker sure (karlach 💞) but i dont like his moral compass it makes conversations w him so difficult to navigate it stresses me out. like im playing a self-insert and kind of just choosing the options i choose right. but he probably thinks all my dialogue options are too soft and weak and wishy-washy💔 like sorry i dont think idolizing absolute power is a good thing bro. even if i get why hed be obsessed w power after 200 years of utterly lacking any. doesnt mean i have to agree w his cynicism

on that topic thats why im utterly enamored w karlach💗💗 i love her. like of all the romancable characters i genuinely would enjoy dating her. if it werent for my emotional attachment to shadowheart after being w her so long itd be a no brainer. like at the beginning i just wanted her in my party bc shes a hot buff demon lady. but shes such a joy??? her zest for even the little things in life like her dialogue w shadowheart abt nature. her just cheerfully dancing in camp. shes boisterous and passionate and enthusiastic. also shes the only one of the characters i like who approves when i go out of my way to help people and when i brainwashed this monster into cannibalizing its pack (fucked up but i didnt wanna fight the whole horde And it) shadowheart and astarion approved but she Disapproved, and idk it just feels like a breath of fresh air to see someone who’s more openly just held on to goodness after everything shes gone through, after shadowheart’s and astarion’s disregard for other people. i need to find her a mechanic to fix her engine but i dont think i can go to the tiefling camp without triggering the party scene so. 💔

i dont really like gale tbh. i mean i dont Not like him he was fine to have in my party but as soon as karlach came along it was an easy choice to kick him out. his storyline is interesting from what ive seen but i feel like. im just not charmed by him lol. i failed a roll while he was trying to teach me magic in this probably romantic scene but he just cut it off there and i didnt bother savescumming to reroll. i also have met wyll but yeah hes fine. kind of the goody type from what ive seen and hes nice enough im also just not charmed. truly i think its just that im a lesbian but i find these two boring in comparison to the three above. ive also found halsin and hes abt to join my party but i made my character a druid already so hes kinda redundant😭 i googled it and hes the only one whos down w polyamory which is so sad bc i can see why people who like men find him hot but i dont, why couldnt any of the three companions i actually like let me date multiple people 😭😭 sadness. i wish it was like sdv where you can date everyone w no consequences as long you exclude one person. i dont like any of the guys except astarion please bg3😭😭😭

half wood elf. folk hero. bard. late twenties early thirties. they/them.

rook was living a completely normal life fucking around in taverns around baldur’s gate trying to make it big as a bard, when the nautiloid caught them. an asshole in the sense of ‘will be an asshole if someone is rude to them’ but largely has always tried to do the right thing. typical party was karlach, astarion, switching between gale and shadowheart. ended up besties with gale and shadowheart. some dialogue is really funny because as an enby tav it was like ‘shadowheart, plz, I beg, I’m trying not to deadname you but you have to tell me.’ panicked early game realising they couldn’t protect their party after a few deaths, started eating the forbidden gummi worms, was half-ilithid a lot of the game. ended the game in the underdark, because they kind of like the folk hero gig and their vampire man needs a daylight ring or a wish spell.

romanced: astarion, gale tried it but they honestly got a cute third act arc and in retrospect if rook wasn’t already a human capri-sun they could’ve been a thing.

would they have been lured to cazador: without a shadow of a doubt, yes they would.

my original dark urge; she woke up with no memory and proceeded to be super weird, because nothing says ‘cohesive party’ like ‘is it normal to want to pluck out your eyeballs and eat them? gale? gale???’ throws every fight she gets into because she’s scared of going too far. typical party is lae’zel, karlach and shadowheart. this is the girlypop crew. ri’lyrr struggles to make friends but she saved shadowheart when lae’zel was yelling at her so the girl gang has her back at all times. does the right thing! just EXCEEDINGLY violent. resisting but im not sure if itll last and if it does it’ll be because she loves her squad so much.

romanced: lae’zel and they are the cutest couple on this earth. ri’lyrr has gone from ‘man who was absolutely too old for her and was definitely a poor choice’ to ‘githyanki warrior who will end lives for her and actually doesn’t like seeing her in pain.’ fun fact, this was meant to be a wyll run, but they just worked SO well. bae’zel and ri’lyrr are at this point essentially married.

would she have been lured to cazador: honestly at that point i think it would’ve been cazador’s problem.

my little brainrot blorbo: without saying her entire backstory she’s sheltered for a reason. they grew up in rivington raised by their grandmother, and have a connection to the monastery of lythander that may irreparably change the course of their life. switches parties depending on need. sends out scouts. my most technically competent tav. she just has a desperate need to be liked so she can stay alive long enough to get back to be rivington, so compulsively helps everyone she sees and then lies about why. also her dad is a pirate. this will become relevant but it’s more if I start using pirate imagery that’s why. the idea of haven in the pirate hat has sent me FERAL.

romanced: if you can call whatever toxic nonsense that they have with astarion right now romance, sure. i could ship them with lae’zel, wyll or astarion, which is the route the fic is going for. karlach is firmly besties, shadowheart just doesn’t like her much at all, gale and haven would be boring! there, i said it.

ELYS THE MENACE. has spent the entire time with a tadpole in her brain rizzing up the camp. an objectively ‘good but not nice’ character. was literally described in co-op as ‘oh I get it, she’s going to save every tiefling here she’s just an arsehole.’ Had a problem with Asmodean Tieflings (it was on sight) up until she met the kids at the Tiefling camp. is here for a good time not a long time. wants to get back to the upper city and be a big deal again, death is not something they were planning for. keeps her camp mates up gossiping about ‘why is wyll 10 times hotter as a literal devil’ or ‘i think gale ate my good heels, i will pay someone 50 gold to retrieve them.’ co-op, so plays with a halfling cleric peddling gummi worms that elys won’t touch but everyone else probably will. the rest of the team comp changes depending on vibes.

romanced: has managed to romance everyone to some degree except halsin and that’s because you can’t do that yet where i am. however: it’s 99% going to be wyll. he will make elys into a better person. elys will make him do shit for himself. they’re going to have like six kids and elys will complain the whole time, i’m so ready for it.

would she have been lured to cazador: she wouldn’t run in the same circles but potentially, yes. wouldve criticised astarion’s repair work and taken him in as a sugar baby. i’m not even joking.

i dont even know what to do with myself today. i was totally prepared to spend 10+ hours at the snap/medicaid offices in utter hell trapped in a nightmarescape of sensory triggers waiting to even speak to someone, only for them to just tell me to wait longer or that i didn’t have the right documents or something. instead the food stamps guy was sooo so nice and fixed my issue in less than 5 minutes, and the medicaid people were.. slightly more helpful than the ones on the phone and at least my dad was there to stick up for me. but it took only a couple hours and idk what to do. i kind of thought that i wouldn’t have any free time until bg3 came out and now i’m just a nervous wreck unable to do anything because im so impatient, even for youtube content, though idk when the embargo will lift for people to post stuff. i’m passing the time with just being on bg3 discords with other sufferers and trying to plan out my builds/playthroughs. i definitely want to be a halfling bard (or maybe gnome? probs halfling) and recreate my dnd character that is sort of a self insert and experience the game with the choices/alignment that matches mine. and i want to romance.. probs laezel, I have a soft spot for her. like she’s just freaked out about the tadpoles in our brains, she doesn’t want to frolic in the forest and do 50 side quests. she’s not overly mean, she’s just pragmatic and taking a scary situation seriously, and she’s a lot nicer than the other githyankis i met in early access. maybe ill romance karlach though, idk, as long as its a giant warrior woman who can break me in half. party wise.. ill probs have my giant warrior wife, halsin for additional healing/guidance, and.. some kind of offensive caster. i guess gale or arcane trickster astarion, idk. i dont know gales big secret, but he kind of gives anders vibes and i even thought of romancing him, maybe. idk. i want good banter too, and i dont know enough about halsin to know who he would banter with. idk. i just want to find out! so badly!!! and i have to meet with a client that day and they want to meet me right at 11am and i am like... no way in a million years no can do. ughhhh anway. im just glad the game is coming out soon. though it is making me antsy
