Ok so I've been thinking about the fact that Till's pupels widen when he felt Ivan's hand on his cheek. You can see it for a brief frame. So, even if Tills feelings aren't the same as Ivans(obvi), he did felt something at that moment, and it wasn't negative.

You both get home around six, grateful to be out of the biting winter chill. Springtrap carries the groceries in, his strength in comparison to yours making him the designated bag holder. He grabs them in one hand, setting them gently on your counter. You take your shoes off, turning to face him.

“Hey, that wasn’t half bad! You make a pretty good shopping partner, Will,” you muse. “Sorry about the staring.”

“Can’t say I understand how automated everything has become, but otherwise it was perfectly pleasant. I’m used to staring,” he chuckles. “Plus, it’s nice to spend time with you.”

“It’s domestic,” you agree, giving him a soft smile.

Springtrap returns it as much as he can, his eyes lidded. There’s a gentle silence as you both look at one another. You lean in closer to him, allowing your eyes to travel up his chest ad to his face. Eagerly, he leans in slightly and unhinges his lower jaw.

“May I?” he asks quietly.

“Yes,” you respond, and stand up on your tiptoes to bring his face close to you.

You close your eyes, feeling the sudden warmth of his mouth as it connects with yours. This is nothing like the first time you did this with him; there isn’t a trace of awkwardness between the two of you. You kiss him tenderly, wrapping your arms around his waist. He lifts his hands to cradle your head gently.

When you separate, you both look into each other’s eyes. He isn’t pretty by any means, but you could look into those silvery eyes all day.

I know there’s much higher quality clips from the Sharpe series on youtube now, but back in 2017 this was the very first clip I had ever seen with Teresa, as there weren’t many in general. (Though this one cuts off the first part of the scene). I had only ever seen pictures at that point. I’m very fond of this video and this moment in Eagle and I remember being so surprised to hear her voice for the first time!!  I loved her accent and the way she spoke and the tenderness in the scene HOOKED me. “it’s silly for her to go all the way out there,” tatiana sniffed in what sounded like jealous contempt to beth’s ears. it took her only half a second to realize just who her mother was speaking about, however -- that elinor had gone to the front to fight side-by-side with her soldiers. immediately, beth excuses herself from the table, feigning a headache. she goes up to her bedchambers, persisting in the facade for all of ten anxious minutes before going down to the stables. if anyone asked, she would say she thought the fresh air might help. if they inquired further on why she went to the little palace, however . . . beth would try to think of some excuse later. it’d be futile to attempt now while her mind is being flooded with thoughts of elinor hurt on the battlefield. 

she rides her horse down the familiar gravel path, the cold stinging her cheeks as the night wind whistles through the trees. halfway through the journey, she realizes that elinor may not be back for hours -- perhaps not even till the morning ( she dares not think worse ). yet she can’t bring herself to turn her horse back around, knowing that any minute closer to knowing elinor’s safe would be well-worth the wait. 

when she arrives at elinor’s quarters, she’s told the darkling is still at the front. beth paces endlessly, twisting a handkerchief in her hand as she hopes for her return, politely turning down offers of tea and a chair. then, after what seems like centuries . . . elinor finally arrives in tha halls. ❝ elinor, ❞ beth breathes with relief, the name too soft and sacred to be heard. she composes herself by the time elinor closes the distance and greets her, beth bowing her head. 

❝ general frey. it’s so good to see you. ❞ the solace overwhelms beth, wanting to embrace elinor yet holding herself back. she can only watch as elinor leads the way, the fatigue of battle holding no sway over elinor’s grace yet. when elinor offers the wound at her hand, however, beth is little consoled. the entire time during her journey over, beth had recounted the rumors of elinor being invincible, beyond the dangers of mere mortals. she had prayed they were true, but now seeing her hurt -- no matter how small the injury, or how brilliant and warm elinor’s smile still -- beth’s worry for elinor’s future safety grows.

with elinor’s hand still gently cupped between hers, beth looks elinor in all unease still. she had triumphed on the battlefield, that was certain, yet . . . beth still worries for all the horror and cruelties elinor must have faced.

her smile might be tender but she's giggling internally,, she's flattered!!

robin gained confidence growing up and she knew she was a gorgeous woman — but hearing it from your lips is still a surprise. sure, she gets compliments on the daily, especially by sanji, but... yours felt much more intimate. she's not blushing because she's flustered or anything, it's just because she loves you. and that comforting warmth in her chest propagated to her neck and face.

it's small moments such as this that remind her of saul's words. each day on the sunny is a reminder, but the little things reinforce those feelings. it was such a wonderful sentiment.

you had no idea what she was thinking about, but the way the corners of her lips eased, your heart jumped too.

his eyes widen and he just. stops functioning for a moment. his heart feels lighter and funnier than normal, and his smile returns, a bit more timid than before.

he doesn't even believe it— he did notice from time to time how you suddenly just,, softened when he did it but he didn't think you'd like it that much. he doesn't smile a lot, sure there are definitely various moments where he feels at peace with the crew, but they come easier with you

when he showed you his coin collection, when you both took a stroll or when you simply cuddled. law might look scary to those outside — but inside, he is still the small boy whose curiosity shined above all. he is very fond of those he cares about, even if he has trouble expressing his emotions and thoughts to others. the confidence he wore doubled for you and his loyal crewmates, but he deserved rest every once in a while. years of trauma dulled him, however, when he felt something, it was strong; almost as if breaking out of a cage. he kept them deep inside, only to burst and even tremble when he was pampered. he didn't know how to react, and only with time would he grow used to it.

so,, please be patient and take care of him,, he looks after himself with everything else, but he's a lost puppy with love and physical affection. if it doesn't show on his face, his heart definitely speeds up at every small thing you tell him, casual or not.

he's not really used to the sweet words and might think he's undeserving of them. sure, it's a simple smile... but that's exactly why it gets him so much. something so mundane and common yet you see a unique beauty in his and his alone. others can warm your heart too, but he does it in a different way — in a special way.

if you tell him this in the middle of the night and you're both having a calm and peaceful moment he might cry. (if it's daytime and he's feeling a lil sensitive it's tears of joy mixed with laughter,, please hold him)

yes. he's a bit mean sometimes but you know he means well. he's your little man. like, he made you a tiny metal butterfly once so that even if he was busy with designing and crafting you had something to remind you of him. (he sputtered profanities and became as red as his hair before storming off walking in a wall but he still peeked from a corner to see if you liked it. when he saw your pleased expression, he smirked like the lil shit he is.)

plus... deep inside, he appreciated it. you and killer always managed to calm him down.
