its somewhat cathartic when you finish up a soap bar. It used to be so big and stable to the point you had to hold it in two hands, only to be reduced to small crumpling shards.

on one hand im pleased to completely use up the soap bar. on the other hand im grieving it because if everything was flipped on its head i could atleast look forward to scrubbing away the yuck off my hands with my slowly eroding soap bar.

its gone now, and its time to move on to the next soap bar. Im soon going to forget he last soap bar and all the time I spent wittling it down will be nothing.
