Most:

Ensign Baker, my sweet boy, is probably the most jittery out of the bunch. Though he’ll gladly do anything you ask around this time of year, he loathes the scary, scream-inducing kinda stuff. Typically, he’s the one hiding behind you, urging you forward first, trying not to get his heart pounding in the first five minutes. You don’t mind, happily holding his hand through the whole maze, but at the end, it’s Thomas who swears he’ll never do anything of the sort again. Though, somehow, every Halloween, he finds himself at the beginning of some kind of haunted house or something scary along the lines, and he just can’t help it. You always offer to go do something else, but he’d rather go through the attraction seven times then make you go through it alone.

Middle-ground:

John Adams, pretends that he’s got nothing to be afraid of, while in fact, he is biting on his bottom lip so hard that it’s actually begun to bleed. You’ll never catch him slacking, though, whenever you manage to peel him away from his work to something festive for the season, he’s always pushing you away from something scary. His cousin, sure, loves these kinds of things, however, he just really rather not. While is amazing at swallowing his screams and bypassing all the things that make you yelp, he doesn’t make it through the entire thing with his head up. Every time you look his way though, he’s perfectly normal, and you almost pout. How is he so nonchalant? And then Sam tells you that he’s actually the biggest scaredy cat of them all. While you hold in a fit of laughter, the two of them get into an argument, Sam laughing loudly.

Least:

Robert Townsend has the most bored, unamused, and annoyed look on his face the entire time. His expression screams ‘is this over yet’, and you clinging to his arm is not helping in the slightest. While you shout at whatever crosses your path, Robert sighs, pushing onwards, dragging you along with him. You could pout and give him a whole bunch of time to actually enjoy himself, and he just can’t bring himself to. He sees everything coming, brown eyes moving across the dark rooms, and he doesn’t understand how you don’t see it either. He tries to enjoy it, for you, but it’s just not something is going to be excited about. Sure, there’s plenty things that bring that small smile to his lips, most of them involve you, yet, no haunted attraction will make him jump. He’s the most boring partner for these kinds of things.

Bonus:

Caleb Brewster likely laughs at whatever does manage to scare him, even if you’re attached to his arm, a bit jittery from the fear. If he does see the jump coming, he’ll point it out, fingers brushing your hiding eyes to try and get you to see it before it happens. If something appears that he doesn’t foresee, if the fear flashes in his eyes, you don’t see it come across his face. Rather, he’ll cover his yelp with a laugh, just after swallowing his fear down. Caleb has seen it all, but he still enjoys doing these kinda things, even if you insist this time around you won’t be bested so easily. If anything, he likes how tightly you grip his arm, and if he even tries to move away from you, you give him the best glower you can, and laughs that he was only kidding. I think that he’s so easily amused, that no matter it be you, or the scary stuff, he’d do anything you asked as long as you were there to enjoy it with him.

[a/n: I have never ?? written a full story for sol!John Adams ??? just headcanons???? unacceptable. I am so sorry.]

In retrospect, you really had just lost track of the time. It was that strange gap in the middle of the day, where the sun wasn’t quite ready to set, but evening was just beginning.

So you had accidentally left your phone in your car. Uncharged.

You assumed he would be so busy with his work, that you’d just meet up with him at home, or if you were running late enough, at the tavern, where you planned to unwind with John at your side.

It wasn’t like you were intentionally ignoring him.

but…

John was certain you were doing this on purpose.

Sure, he was guilty of being a little late for things, maybe forgetful for a handful, but he would never let work overflow into the weekend. That was you and his time, the time where he could shut his brain off for a good 48 hours and re-charge, and just be.

This, this was beyond any scope of reason he could find.

“y/n…”

He’s grumbling, pacing throughout the house like a lost puppy, glancing at his phone every time he walked past the kitchen as if it’d light up on command. To say he had rushed would be the understatement of the year, he basically plowed through his remaining work to finish the earliest he’s ever had on a Friday.

He’d never admit it aloud, but he’d so the same any day of the week, if you asked. Because what it all bubbles down to is you, and if it meant he got to see you for an extra hour or two, he’d do it.

Now, though, he’s certain he wants to absolutely go feral and call the police.

Grabbing his phone, he opens the device one last time and goes to ring you, when he hears the sound of the front door unlocking.

And before you can even remove your key, the door flies open, the intimidating force that is John Adams glowering you down in the doorway.

“I should lock you outside.”

You tilt your head to the side, curious to the very contrasting look of fear and worry in his eyes.

He hates it when you do that, analyze the look in the wells of his irises.

“For what, John? It’s not even half past three, I said I’d be home before four?”

“Had a look at your phone lately?”

Once more, he contradicts his brash words by pulling you forwards easily, smushing you into a hug that you warily return.

“It died, I…oh. I see. Were you worried when you couldn’t reach me?”

You reply smugly, laughing as John kisses the crown of your head softly.

“Why would I not be worried?”

“I thought you’d be to busy with your work and all.”

To this, he lets you go, holding you at an arms length. Staring you down intently, you watch as his eyes move into something a little more serious.

“I would never be too busy to notice that I have not heard word from you.”

“Well, yeah but—“

“There’s no refuting that, y/n. That’s the truth. I was nearly sick thinking something happened to you.”

“Kinda got a taste of your own medicine, huh?”

You scratch as your arm absentmindedly, eyes low as you shuffle your way inside the foyer.

“And what’s that supposed to mean?”

John asks, eyes following you as you still don’t turn to meet him.

“Like the times you stay late at work, and never care to call? Or when you snub me for a better part of the day because you’ve got important things to do?”

It’s a bit drastic, the way things have turned, and suddenly you felt a little bad.

“John, hold on, I—“

You go to continue, spinning to meet his face, but all you find is a dumb smile on his lips as he shakes his head.

“No, no. You’re right. I shouldn’t have been so rude at first, I deserved that.”

“But I was a bit dramatic. I know that your work is important to you. I signed up for this.”

“It’s not as important to me as you are, y/n. I can’t help myself, I worry. But I did get a taste of my own medicine there.”

Smiling stupidly, you wander back over to the brunette and open your arms to give him a squeeze.

“Let’s both try and be a bit more conscious, yeah? Not trying to freak you out over here either.”

“I was going to call the police, so.”

He kisses your forehead, smiling down at you gently.

“I think we both have a flare for the dramatics.”

Nothing in the world beats coming home to John’s welcoming arms, any day of the week.

“Is it bad of me to want to just stay home tonight?”

He whispers in your ear, breath tickling your skin as you laugh timidly.

“No, not at all. Because I was thinking the same thing.”

You squeal happily as John leans down to grab your hand, tugging you along to the sofa.

"The Boss." From Mark 1: 9-12.

Now we know Jesus was sent to teach us how to apply the knowledge of the Torah and cover them locusts in honey so their nonsense can be dispersed. Two hints in the Kabbalah and the Gematria tell us how: sandal straps and Holy Baptism.

Within this Gospel are the means to conceptualize freedom from darkness and sin and the way to use the mind to press them, to force them out. Gone forever are the days of washing in the blood and that silly story about Christ dying for our sins. Following, God explains what we need instead is to rinse in the Water and live in the Light.

The famous passage where Jesus transfigures for the first time begins with a foreboding statement, "at that time", meaning the Spirit of God was invoked to give mankind a shove. The statement, Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee in fact means "to probe the flower of the age for the seed", process that begins with baptism in water. Afterward, the Holy Ghost sends Jesus into the desert to germinate for forty days:

9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 

10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

12 At once the Spirit sent him out into the wilderness, 13 and he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted[g] by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.

Jesus was a Jew. His baptism did not create a new religion or change His Heritage or His ability to communicate the Spirit of the God of Israel to other persons. As we know from the study of the Tanakh, the God of Israel is "human agnostic". His mission was to conquer Rome, a ruthless filthy godless state. In some ways He succeeded. The Values in Gematria are:

v. 9: At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee. The Number is 6249, ו‎בדד‎‎, "...and alone."

There is one God and He is the sun, we are little stars. The appearance of the Christ was to restate convictions man has held since time began about this being: There is but the One God. He is a loner, an original and unique form of life.

"The story that follows the account of Adam and Eve progresses along a complexity axis rather than a temporal one, and in Noah the animal-human symmetry breaks (for the most part; Psalm 73:22, Ecclesiastes 3:18, 2 Peter 2:12, Jude 1:10). Arch-father Abraham is not only the father of all believers, he's also the embodiment of international trade. His final descendant, Jesus, embodies the Word, which is the whole of natural law upon which the whole of creation operates (Colossians 1:16-17).

This sounds rather boring but the embodiment of the Logos is as alive and aware and the embodiment of your own DNA (and then some). A humanity that is the embodiment of the Logos of creation is first of all a precise reflection of the Creator (Hebrews 1:2-3), and secondly governed by nothing but divine freedom (Revelation 21:22-23).

Also note that our word μονος (monos) has to do with our word "monarch" and that the Latin equivalent, namely solo has to do with the word for sun: sol. The Greek word for sun is ηλιος (helios), and when we truncate that we get Ηλ (El), or אל ('el), the Hebrew word for God.

In our article on the Greek word κεφαλη (kephale), meaning head or skull, we note that the head is the seat of one's attention and as mobile as the moon. One's most intimate convictions, on the other hand, comprise one's sun, and other people are like the stars. The Hebrew equivalent of κεφαλη (kephale) is גלגלת (gulgoleth), hence the name Golgotha."

v. 10-11. Jesus came out of the water. He was the sun and also its reflection on the surface of the deep. He and God are of the same Torah, as are all persons who leave the water in search of the bread of heaven. The Number is 16468, א‎וד‎ו‎‎ח "...and report."

v. 12-13: At once, the Spirit sent Him into the wilderness. Persons who report are greeted by God who Reports in return. The feeling is unmistakeable. A freedman then goes in search of the unknown. The Gospel says the trek is accompanied by angels and the Devil himself. The Gospels ask us hereafter which should be the boss, what is right or what we want? The answer is found below:

The Value in Gematria is 11212, יאבאב‎, yabab, "the objects of desire."

Yabab "the gangway, the point of entry" is the cry of the suffering: one that can only be quietened through what is called Sisera, "meditation, keen and swift as the horse."

After he was given His water mark, Jesus went to absorb the knowledge of Sisera by meditating for forty days.

The result of Sisera is called Shabbos. Shabbos, "the boss" is little understood by most. Here is an appropriate definition of who is the boss, the angels not the Devil:

The root שבע (sb'; now spelled as שׂבע (sb') and pronounced with an s) means to be sated or satisfied with food. Bear in mind in Judaism food is data. If we feed the mind body and blood instead of accurate testimony, wether it is about God or how to play the violin or make a quiche, we will feed the mind what it needs to become an organ of elevation.

"The ancients understood that an individual human mind is self-similar to the whole of society (much in the same way that a distribution pattern on a recording screen is equal to the path integral of a single quantum particle). This suggests that of all humans, small selections have minds with pronounced "sensory" abilities: they are able to detect signals to which the whole of human society ought to respond.

Those of us who are eye-like are able to gather information like scientists, and by using the scientific method. Whatever draws their attention does not necessarily turn the progression of the whole of mankind. But those of us who are ear-like are able to detect the tiniest whispers and subsequently manage to turn to whole of mankind's attention toward it, even when very few actually know what's going on and what we're aiming for.

The eye-like folks are famously familiar to us moderns. We understand their importance and many have developed a kind of superstar status (Curie, Einstein, Hawking) that strongly suggests that the bulk of humankind has no idea what's actually going on. The ear-like folks are those who truly pilot mankind. They are the first to detect signals that the whole of mankind will trail, long before the vast majority of us understand that we're moving, let alone in which direction and for what.

The eye-like folks, brilliant as they are and free to look wherever they want, end up looking mostly into the direction in which the ear-like folks point them.

And who, you ask, are those ear-like folks? Well, in the words of Jesus: "He who has ears to hear, let him hear" (Matthew 11:15). The ear-like folks are those who know what the bulk of people want before they realize it.

People with this gift are able to produce very helpful items (artistic, theoretical and practical) that will guide the whole of humanity toward a place of collective happiness. People with this gift commonly become very rich, as the whole of society rewards them for their guidance.

Still, wealth is no indication of a person's virtue, since many a society has followed their blind guides eagerly into ruin — this theme is overly discussed in stories such as that of the Greek Sirens and the Bible's proverbial Harlot (Proverbs 7:5, Revelation 17:1), whose sensuality made the world's kings and merchants rich (Revelation 18:3)."
