RECONNECTING, April 2023

Reconnect ideas

-nari is sick and jk has to go to America for white house and he's just freaking out but it's just a cold and y/n is kinda saying "she's a kid it happens"

-jk has to go to America for work but nari is very upset and thinks he's never coming back

-or maybe something where jungkook want to take his family to America but nari is still going to kindergarten (I don't know if kindergarten has summer holidays 😅) so the girls have to be left behind

Since I'm sick I'll do the sick one ._.

"I'll stay here. They'll understand-" he argues, as you put his bag back in front of the door.

"you need to leave Jungkook. It's just a common cold, she will be fine in a few days!" you reassure, but he's not convinced, posture deflated as he keeps his gaze on the door to his daughter's bedroom. She's sleeping right now- finally, after the night had been rather awful due to her coughing keeping her awake.

"But you need me. My daughter needs me-" he starts, as he suddenly hears her cough, body instantly moving towards her room. "hear that? I'm not going, no way!" he starts, but to your surprise, it's Nari herself who opens the door- looking up at her dad.

"don't fight." she mumbles, and you instantly pick her up while Jungkook's hands fall to his sides. He knows why he can't touch her much- he can't get sick now either.

"we're not fighting princess." you reassure her, before she coughs again- all while Jungkook looks like he's about to cry. You know it's hard- but it's his job. "Jungkook, Baby, you'll miss your flight." you while at him, and he nods, a finger tapping her nose before he gives you a kiss to your forehead.

"promise you'll call if anything happens?" he worries, and you nod. "you have my mom's phone number, just text her and she can come over and-"

"Jungkookie it's not the first time she's sick." you laugh a bit under your breath, before you notice the hurt flash in his eyes. Well, it's not the first cough she's had for you- but for him, it is, and it just reminds him of what he's missed, and how many things you've had to deal with all alone.

"it feels like I'm leaving you alone with all of this all over again." he mumbles grimly, as Nari shakes her head suddenly.

"Appa calls lots!" she exclaims. "And Appa comes back, right?" she asks him, and he immediately nods, running a hand over her head, uncaring for a second of not touching her too much.

"of course." he promises her, and you smile at him.

"let's have a sleepover in the living room again when Appa comes back, hm?" you ask her, and she instantly wiggles around, before coughing a bit. Jungkook seems to perk up as well as he remembers Thea's time you did that all together. He knows what you're doing- you're giving him something to look forward to, and he highly appreciates it.

"with mush'mallos?" she excitedly wonders, and you laugh.

"Lots of them." Jungkook promises, before he finally gets himself together to leave.

It's hard- but he knows you'll get through this together.

Reconnecting

Kita hidup sebagai makhluk sosial. Selama hidup, Entah ada berapa banyak manusia yang hadir untuk menjadi warna. Beberapa hanya lewat sepintas, mampir memberi kesan. Beberapa yang lain bertahan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Tak peduli berapa banyak kekurangan diri yang dikantongi. Tak peduli berapa kesalahan diri yang telah menyakiti.

Sebagian besar hadir melalui himpunan aktivitas yang sama, atau organisasi yang berjalan di atas satu tujuan. Dalam kelompok itu, ada kalanya interaksi kita compang-camping, terkoyak urusan-urusan kecil. Ada kalanya, interaksi kita terasa hampa tanpa kita tahu apa penyebabnya.

Kita kemudian mulai mencari cara. Bagaimana ya agar muncul harmoni lagi dalam hubungan kita? Bagaimana ya agar solidaritas hadir kembali di kelompok kita? Kemudian mulailah diadakan upgrading, healing, dan sejenisnya. Saya rasa beberapa efektif untuk menyatukan kembali yang sempat renggang. Terkadang juga ada jarak yang terasa semakin dekat. Tapi setelah saya coba flashback, biasanya efek sampingnya tak bertahan lama. Lalu kenapa? 

Kemarin di kelas tadabbur Ahlan, Teh Fitri menyampaikan tentang kalam Allah yang disebutnya sebagai AYAT SOLIDARITAS. 

“Dan Dia (Allah) yang mempersatukan hati mereka (orang yang beriman). Walaupun kamu menginfakkan semua (kekayaan) yang berada di bumi, niscaya kamu tidak dapat mempersatukan hati mereka, tetapi Allah telah mempersatukan hati mereka.” (Q.S. Al-Anfal : 63)

Dari ayat tersebut, kita jadi tahu bahwa tak sedikitpun kita memiliki hak untuk mempersatukan hati manusia. Walau tentu kita dapat berikhtiar dengan bertukar hadiah atau jalan-jalan bersama, tapi di tangan Allah lah hak prerogatif itu. Pada ujungnya, hasilnya betul-betul di tangan Allah. Kemarin disampaikan juga,

“Solidarity is given. And the strongest bonding is from Allah.”

Dan sebaik-sebaik frekuensi pemersatu hati kita adalah: keimanan. Maka jika hari ini kita merasa ada hubungan-hubungan yang renggang tanpa alasan, mari coba cek diri kita. Sedang baik-baik saja kah hati kita dan hati teman kita? Apa kabar ruhiyah kita? Mungkinkah kita sedang disconnecting hubungan dengan Allah? 

Mari rayu sang pemilik hati, perbaiki hubungan kita dengan-Nya. Jika kita merasa disconnected, bukankah jalan reconnecting dengan-Nya selalu terbuka lebar? Semoga Allah jaga hubungan horizontal kita dengan iman, aamiin :)
