got the first batch of Home Baked Creatures out of the kiln!!
#I used an experimental process and the results are very mixed#but that's GOOD because now I know what works and what doesn't! AND I now know I do NOT need to buy More Stuff#which is a big relief#I was worried I'd need to pay for more stuff to make my pigments adhere to the clay and it seems that I do not#and the dinged up creatures can just go into the online version of the Bargain Bin#wait on second thought I should keep some of them to use as references. THIS is what happens when you apply it too THICK etcetera#anywayy#excitingg#I got 2 really good frogs and 1 really good fox out of it#and some acceptable bunnies

i am currently compiling the Kodaka BlueSky Q&As, and they will be machine-translated with as many corrections from my manager (native Japanese) as possible.
she's forgotten some of her Japanese over time during her Lifelong Rantaro-like travels, which means, as hard as we'll try to bring you something close to the Correct Info, there will obviously be mistakes and no one should take them as Gospel or The Ultimate Source...

For the longest time, I always thought I wanted to be an artist.
#and in a roundabout sort of way i am#and i doubt i'll ever make anything that's “worthy” enough to hang in a museum or gallery#but sometimes it's a lot more gratifying inspiring other people and helping them make stuff#helped a kid in my class today who didn't have a parent with them make a flower and a bat and a butterfly#they just needed a lot of help but they were so proud of that flower they made and were so excited they could take it home#another kid made the cutest bunny and a little diorama for it out of a piece of bark and literal trash we picked up on the trail#even made a little tail out of a gold sequin that they magically collected from somewhere#had another kid bring back a whole ass tumbleweed with grand ambitions to decorate it but then had a sudden change of plans#so sure you can draw a cat on your piece of origami paper with the hot glue gun kid just don't burn yourself or use all the glue sticks#i don't know what the moral of this story is but look i just had a nice day okay#some days i'm out there attempting to save a whole ass ecosystem and trying to convince people to give a shit#other days hanging out with kids and gluing bits of nicely folded paper to a twig#rambling into the void#little ghost on the prairie#tag essay

goddess the body feels sooo good after a workout 🫠
#it feels so warm and heavy and so comfortable omg#have y'all heard about exercise and stretching it is amazing owo#my thighs are super gooey tho like can barely sit and stand#luv it!!!#it feels extra good bc i woke up today super depressed (bc yesterday was rough)#and i just wanted to keep my earplugs in and cry and stay in bed all day#but somehow i managed to get up and walk all the way to the gym#and i worked out for almost 2hrs lol like when i get started i dont wanna leave#i did more on the crosstrainer (my bby i love the crosstrainer) and i dared to use the leg machine i wanted#i could adjust the seat this time phew. and i tried just one bump heaver weight for everything too#owoowowow and for some reason i didnt totally wanna throw up when i had to observe myself in the mirror skskk#so yeah it was a good session today ^-^#as always tho i do feel stupid and inadequate... bc almost everyone who is there is in great shape#and they know what they're doing and they're doing complicated exercises with very heavy weight and im there#with my 2kg dumbells getting strains in my wrists (im careful tho dw!!!!!)#im definitely doing it at a very low level but last time i worked out was before my knee got fucked and before all of these weird pains#😃😃😃 so im not even as strong as i was when i was overweight.. i never felt weak when i was#but i go to the gym because i enjoy it since it's fun and even the low intensity stuff i do makes my body feel nice#and if i keep going regularly for years maybe i'll also get in good shape and do more and more stuff#i wanna be a gym bunny!!!!!!#i used to actually love the gym so much i wanted to work at one skksks

anyway i do just kinda love the inherent existential themes of bunny and deacon. falling in love w someone who has the nearly same face of someone you lost. deacon’s own face likely not even being the one barbara knew. bunny falling in love w whoever he is now. deacon studying every bit of bunny, every contour and line and shape, every difference and (im)perfect piece of her. of all the faces that could’ve come out of that vault. why did the universe send me you.
especially those early months of knowing bunny. of trying to reckon w these indescribable feelings. but falling in love all over again w bunny as bunny. she’s real and she’s here and she’s everything and he doesn’t plan on losing her
#like to be clear there are some differences between their faces. i think early synths were modeled after pre-war media#looking at photos and footage as reference only can only go so far#and can only be so accurate#then bunny’s face when she comes out of the vault is several years after when a lot of her popular photos were taken#+ likely a bit of added weight bc she was only several months postpartum#also their hair was probably styled differently as well#and goes without saying but completely different personalities as well#but the resemblance is undeniable. and the realization that ofc she’d have someone else’s face.#especially once he puts together bunny WAS the woman from all those old magazines.#ofc they’d use that as reference. it all makes sense.#but getting to know bunny. understanding her. falling in love w her despite the obvious hurdle. it’s just.#somehow everything led to us meeting. somehow we’ve found each other in this life.
