I also have to say, the episode flashback also highlights an issue of the narrative.

....I.M.P. is killing in Hell/doing jobs BEFORE the Grimoire. The flashbacks clearly showing this.....so why couldn't the show just have been that? This Season really did make the Grimoire irrelevant.

Yeah the Grimoire worked when the show was just some whacky hijinks go kill people up top, but then S2 rolls around and....it just stops being that. So the whole deal between Blitz and Stolas is made pointless from S1.

You can literally remove Stolas entirely from the show and have it be the same, focusing on the actual I.M.P. members, because they are suppose to be the main characters. You'd also expand upon Hell this way a lot more, considering Hazbin is confided to one location.

The original premise of helluva felt unique and could lead to some funny shenanigans considering that the characters are hellborns and earth would be alien to them ( like invader zim) But now the show barely takes advantage of demons doing hits on the living, most episodes have been mainly in hell with the jobs being more of a background thing. So yeah the imps doing hits in hell makes way mores sense. (And besides hell is basically earth with red paint so that takes away from the potential uniqueness of the living world)

Your completely right when it comes to the uselessness of stolas, I’ve been thinking up rewrites and the more I think about the less it makes sense to even have the stolas and his family play a role in the show. Helluva should have just been about hellborn assassins going on crazy adventures not a toxic romance with a divorce subplot 😭

Okay, let's start with tf2. Tf2 is one of the best games EVER in my opinion, and it's not a really trustworthy one, but it's an opinion. I love everything from character design to the community to the game itself. The comics which make me want to explode from how well the character design goes both for 3d and 2d, and the silly world that the characters live in. It's like some kind of wonderland, but it's made for a fps gamer. The first thing that made me interested in tf2 was my friend talking about it, he sent me the "Meet the spy" video and a fan made animation. I remember seeing it and thinking "Wow, those guys look cool", and when I started learning more I REALLY wanted to play as scout (who I still main to this day). I obviously knew about tf2 before but never got too interested in it. But when I started playing oh wow it sucked me in. Tf2 made me have a big standard for character design, thanks to tf2 I never watched Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss (no matter how hard my friends tried to make me watch it), because oh how distracting those designs were for me. Whenever I think about good character design it's the tf2 mercs, they made me realize that the characters don't have to have 300 cool guns on them to point at the character and say "THIS GUY IS COOL!", you can make simple characters that are still catchy and easy to remember and recognize, and even get to understand their main purpose from just a glance. It's even better to make them simple in some cases! (In general valve games have good designs, but tf2 stands out a lot, at least for me). The game itself always makes me feel good, surprisingly it can be relaxing if you don't get too into the competitive mood and have the luck to get normal teammates. Yes, I might be a casual player, but I'm free. Don't get me started on the amount of playing styles tho. I'm not really good at them, I always go with scout, hop around and do my shit. I do play medic in MvM tho, I just really like to have a huge shield and be like "I'll protect you", idk, it's probably the furry alpha wolf speaking in me. But in normal game, oh what a blessing it is sometimes to have a really skilled demoknight, or a good rocket jumper in your team. Or a good spy who saves the day when the engineers build their nest right over the corner, or a medic that manages to heal everyone and not die 100 times in the process. I barely talk in chat in the game (because it's distracting), but know that if you play good and I'm in your team I'm thanking you constantly in my mind. Let me add that I joined the fandom when the bots where still there so I played with them a lot. Now that this is getting fixed it's even more fun! But I managed to fall in love with this half broken game and I'm sorry, that's a big fucking gold medal for a game, if it can still pull fans while being abandoned (hopefully that changes, but it's still impressive).

Now about Postal. I am edgy. Let me be real, if you saw my art you can probably tell that I do like myself some guts and blood from time to time. And I like humor, I like to laugh, to chuckle, to snicker if you will. So me liking Postal was just a matter of time. First game I played was Brain Damaged, and oh boy, the humor was good (even tho some things I missed because I didn't play the other games). As I got deeper into other games I was so IN. Those games are just so much FUN. I like fps games if you couldn't tell, and this? This is the fps game ever, it has some fun stuff to do, you of course can shoot, you can just walk around and explore in postal 2 and 4, and it's worth it! I love exploring those games, they always have some silly stuff here and there. And what they did well in Postal 4 is that they made you explore, they hid dolls, gnomes and all that stuff all over the map, and you can explore it, not just because, but you can actually get something for it. And let me be honest, Postal Dude? Hot. He's hot, and as a dirty stinky gay man myself I appreciate the representation. But jokes aside, HE'S A GOOD CHARACTER. I love him, it's interesting to watch what he does, to hear what he says, in all the games btw, yes, even postal 3. The character design again? Really well done. Postal Dude is simple, Postal Dude is cool, he's not your stereotypical "Cool guy who kills people with huge armor on" or "The buff guy who fights everyone with bare hands" (except Shtopor, that guy is fucking RIPPED.) When I look at Doomguy? I think "Damn, you're cool." when I look at Postal Dude?? I think "Damn man, you're probably stink", and you know what? THAT'S THE CHARM OF THIS CHARACTER. He sucks! You know where he sucks even more than in the game? The movie, and you have NO IDEA how much I love it. The movie is bad, like, not just because "it doesn't represent the characters as they are in the game" but because it's a bad movie. Just as a movie it's not really well done. But! I still love it. It's a movie that is fun to watch with your friends, you laugh at how bad it is, you just have a blast, at least me and my friends did. And I have the bluray disk, so I have the behind the scenes and all that cool stuff, and you know what? It made me like this shit even more. I really wish I could play more Postal with people, and not just that, I'm also waiting for Postal 4 co-op, and some of my friends getting the game as well. Because in my opinion Postal is that type of game that has to be shown to your friends in a "Hey guys, look at this stupid game I found, isn't it so random??" way. I talked a lot about Postals funny part, yes, but I do have to also mention that Postal 1 is rally good. And yes, postal redux is just Postal 1 with a bit better graphics, but I do like it in a way (mainly because of the better quality of the loading screens, because those are just so good. I really like the artistic part of this game). Funny postal? It's good, I love funny postal. But without creepy postal there wouldn't be some stuff in the funny postal that we like so much. Other Dude? The head wound making everything look strange? I don't really think we would have that in newer postal games without postal 1!

Honesty? Hazbin Hotel has ruined Helluva Boss for me.

I mean, it is hard to correspond both show when they are so different.

Helluva Boss cast are petty manchildren who mass murder for fun while Hazbins at least try to be good and the show never condumn any horrible act there, oh sure Alastor is a main character and villainous but the show never tried to justify him with some sob story and repeatedly reminded the watchers that Alastor is evil.

It's like if there was a Rick and Morty spin off but the main characters weren't dysfunctional manchildren who commit many downright immoral stuffs in an episodic basis and the show didn't surgercoat anything that is immoralistically disgusting and treat it humorously.

I mean heck, Adam and Lute are basically Blitz and Loona!

Blitz/Adam: massive pricks who think they are entitled to everything and are assholic because they think they are funny.

Loona/Lute: white haired callous bitches who hang with an asshole.

Blitz and Loona with IMP kill humans for money but honesty? Money is just an excuse because they find it entertaining and killed for pettiest of reasons(killing a fuckton of people over a parking spot anyone?) like Adam, Lute and the Exorcists using the potential of Hell's rebellion as an excuse to kill for fun and hell they even admitted that shamelessly in a song and they see Sinners/Humans as inferior nothing but cattles to slaughter.

Oh sure, Blitz and Loona have a sob origin story but excuse me if I'm not crying a river and it doesn't change the fact that they and IMP are no better than the Exorcists.

I don't know if this was intentional but let's be honest, IMP are mercs who kill humans for money and in a lot of case for even less(like again for a fucking parking spot!) and IMP if they were in Hazbin Hotel would have been villains.

Lily is so awful! honestly that fact she has simps defunding her every action and ignore the real evidences just to kiss her boots is gross as fuck!

and her media analysis are so fucked that one of her critique of Hazbin Hotel is defending the ACUTAL abuse and r**e of AD on screen while being treated in a sexual nature and making merc of valentino despite being a r***t. saying "iT's ThE gEn Z!!! like omg these damn kids!!" like...wtf is wrong with her. in her "media literacy" vid she reasons for defense on the "media literacy that those damn kids don't have!!" (i know she also siad this in her HH "discourse" vid, so it's still counts) um...no honey, the people rightfully calling out the disgusting display on s****l abuse isn't the issue, the issue is that you can talk about serious issues like abuse WITHOUT having to show it on screen! it's called subtext for a reason! and people who went through something like that WON'T want to relive the horrible shit they went tho! but to

be honest, like she will only care for actual victims if it makes her look good, and she can use as probs to make her "one of the good ones" if it means more get-out of jail free cards to use against anyone. I've been trying to figure out how to properly respond to this, apologies if it's a bit messy/incoherent.

In my opinion lily orchard is indeed a very horrible person. She's abused and hurt a lot of people.

I also am very frustrated (but not surprised) that people defend her. The cult of personality/idolization is strong with many people not just lily stans/fans but it's always very frustrating when people just blatantly ignore evidence.

As for her media critiques, I do not watch any of her content atm (weirdly enough though I happened upon some of her videos and then learned about her on tumblr very shortly after and im very thankful i did learn about her.)

I also do not watch helluvahazbin but I do know about that episode and how it poorly portrays sexual abuse and victims of it. My biggest grip with it as well is how viziepop go about talking the r*peist in a positive manner and makes merch of him.

While I belive subtext is good I do think you can sometimesl show it directly depending on how it's made/handled and how the story is written. For me personally a good example of subtext would be the video game Mouthwashing whereas direct would be the manga Metamorphosis. (I know Metamorphosis is somehow considered a meme but I have a lot of thoughts ans feelings about it and how it can be used as a very real cautionary tale of just how easy it is for people to fall into a crappy life with no support from others. It is raw for a reason and i think it can teach people well because of that rawness.)

But I believe you are correct in her assessment that she will only 'care' about victims to make herself look like a good person so people like her or pay attention to her. She's done that many times before. And while there isn't any 'strong' evidence about her r*ping her sibling there is enough, for me personally, to believe she did indeed r*pe them or at the very least sa them. I'm not surprised but still saddened that she thinks most of that is fine.

no one specific from apex legends, all of them could be fun in their own way but boy am i bad at playing some of them. I love caustic but i don't know if that's the schadenfreude of successfully unker trapping someone, or something else.

Alastor from Hazbin Hotel (I think, he's my fave naturally even though everyone is great and we're likely to fill in blanks about them in seasons 2 - 4 that will be of great interest) and Rosie... I think she would absolutely be delightful but want to eat you. Carmilla with her hair down tho.

Moxxie (and possibly Millie, but it took a while with her accent) from helluva boss. love loona but she has a real Baby Adult feel about her that makes you want to mentor her at this age over like, anything salacious. same with charlie and vaggie from HH, they feel Young Adult and you just want to explain how taxes work or talk them through getting a doctor's appointment when they get anxious.

not sure what the common threads here are, and its hard to differentiate between fave and someone you get flustered over. Because they're mixed up, and it changes all the time.

Maybe they're all side characters and need therapy and reassurance that someone gives a damn, i guess. Most of them are funny and protective, none of them really share physical characteristics.

Maybe im a narcissist and see bits of myself in them? Or want to? I dunno. Again, i think ive mixed fave and attraction together for some of them which makes it confusing, which is why if there's a telepath with a psych degree floating around *slaps top of skull* this thing can fit so many confusing things in it... c'mon down.

never got a boyband phase, so that made it harder to identify a Type because lets be rreal they cast the people in it to fit several tropes.

Fanmade Secret Lairs for Magic the Gathering

Star Wars (Prequel Era) This Secret Lair would focus on the Prequel era of Star Wars, and thus the main types of cards would be Sieges, Vehicles, Droids, and Clones. This set would have a total of 10 legendary creatures, five for the Republic, five for the Separatists. The Republic’s legendary creatures would be: Ashoka Tano, Plo-Koon, Captain Rex, Commander Wolfee, and ARC Trooper Fives. The Separatists' legendary creatures would be: Assajj Ventress, Savage Oppress, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and General Grievous. Lands would be as follows: White-Naboo, Green-Kashyyyk, Red-Mustafar, Blue-Kamino, Black-Dathomir

Team Fortress 2 This Secret Lair would focus mainly on the Red Team Mercenaries, and have a total of 9 legendary creatures. The legendary creatures are as follows: Heavy, Medic, Soldier, Scout, Demoman, Spy, Engineer, Spy, and Pyro. There’d be some Artifacts and Spells, one for each Merc. The lands would be various maps in TF2.

The Owl House This Secret Lair would mainly focus on the Wild Witches/Allies, while having some of the Emperor ‘s Coven included. There’d be a total of six legendary creatures. The legendary creatures would be as follows: Eda Clawthorne, Luz Noceda, Lilith Clawthorne, Amity Blight, Emperor Belos, and The Titan. The creatures involved would mainly be Witches (ex: Abomination Witch, Plant Witch, Illusion Witch, etc etc). The lands would be from around the Boiling Isles, while having two Legendary Lands (The Owl House, and Belos’s Castle). 

Undertale This Secret Lair would focus on the various Monsters in Undertale. There’d be five Legendary Creatures and five enchantments. The legendary creatures would be as follows: Undyne, Alphys, Asgore, Papyrus, and Sans. The Enchantments would be focusing mainly on their abilities (Green magic, Determination Experiments, Fire Magic/Trident, Puzzle Making, Gaster Blaster) The lands would be Pixel Art inspired from the actual game.

FNaF This Secret Lair would mainly focus on one character from one of every main line game (1,2,3,4,SL,PS,HW,SB) The characters would be as follows: Freddy Fazbear, The Puppet, Springtrap, Nightmare Fredbear, Ballora, Scrapbaby, Grim Foxy, and Roxanne Wolf. The lands would be as follows: WHITE(FNaF 1 Stage), BLUE(Sister Location Boiler Room), RED(Grim Foxy’s Maze), GREEN(Monty’s Mini Golf), BLACK(FNaF 3 Office)

BatIM/DR The Secret Lair would have 4 Legendary Creatures focusing on the two protagonists and two main antagonists, whilst having a variety of creatures, lands, and other spells. The legendary creatures would be: Audrey Drew, Henry Stein, Bendy, and Wilson. The creatures would be various enemies found in both games (Lost Ones, Searchers, Spider Queens, etc etc). Lands would be various locations in the studio. Since they all look the same via color and tone, I have no ideas lol.

Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss This Secret Lair would only have two Legendary Creatures alongside their respective decks. The two Legendary Creatures will be Charlie Morningstar and Blitzo. The decks would have various creatures and spells that fit their respective shows. The lands would be in the style of playing cards with various characters being artfully displayed: WHITE(Angel Dust), BLUE(Moxxie), RED(Alastor), GREEN(Stolas), BLACK(Loona)

Wings of Fire This Secret Lair would have five legendary creatures and five spells in correspondence with them. The Legendary creatures would be: Clay, Glory, Moon, Leaf, and Darkstalker. The lands would be as follows: BLUE(Icewing palace), GREEN (Rainwing Village), WHITE (Mudwing Mudpits), RED (Skywing palace), BLACK (Nightwing Volcano home)

Warriors This Secret Lair would have a legendary creature for every clan (including Star Clan). The legendary creatures would be: Firestar, Tigerstar, Tallstar, Crookedstar, Leafstar,  and Bluestar. The lands would be as follows: BLUE (Riverclan), WHITE (Windclan), BLACK (Shadowclan), GREEN (Skyclan), RED (Thunderclan)

Riordianverse This Secret Lair would follow four legendary creatures, each with five spells/creatures related to them. The legendary creatures would be: Percy Jackson, Jason, Grace, Sadie Kane, and Magnus Chase.
