this may be controversial but i now more than ever believe that many stancy and even jancy shippers only see nancy as this heartbreaker teenage girl torn between two guys and that’s all there is to her as opposed to ronance shippers that see nancy for the incredible, badass, and intricate character that she is. we respect her as a human being OUTSIDE of being in a relationship and in fic and headcanons try to give her the character development that we believe she deserves because she has so much more potential than just being this arrogant unfaithful and impulsive girl that so many people in this fandom have labeled her as. sure we would love to see her be in a relationship with robin but at least we can respect her decision if she wanted to be the independent baddie she is and deserves to be.

The thing is I have no issue admitting Nesta verbally abused her sister in the beginning of the books. My issue is y’all acting like Feyre hasn’t gotten her sister back like 10x over by now. Any claim that Nesta the war refugee is abusive towards Feyre the monarch is sooo unserious like I have to laugh.

Idk why people ignore that the second her sisters turn fae, Feyre over here is talking about exercising her power as High Lady on them as if they ever agreed to be one of her subjects. Even before they turn fae, she's willing to try using mind powers on them and you want me to feel bad for Feyre because Nesta is mean? Feyre who is actually physically violent while Nesta is not?

Getting mad at Nesta stans for "coddling" Nesta while you're coddling Feyre is so asdfghjkl I'm sorry but I actually respect Feyre as a character which means acknowledging the imbalance of power. She won in the end! Nesta is doomed to serve her sister and her brother-in-law who hates her for all eternity. And she's going to do it too so she can atone for the endless guilt she feels! Congrats, take a victory lap instead of writing endless essays on chapter one of a book that came out in 2015.

I could/should elaborate when I’m not falling asleep as I am rn but like. I feel like for the people who you “mourn” who have died young and/or suddenly who you knew only in passing, or only casually interacted with, or were once close to but in the years between then and their death you barely spoke, etc etc etc, you arent actually mourning them or their presence in ur life (and now palpable absence) (supposedly) but just what it means to be a human on earth who has to grapple with inevitable loss and the immense weight of what a Person is and their footprint on everyone they interact with that is fleeting even tho there are several billions of us on the floating rock but none of those billions of lifetimes are ever overlapping 100%…. sigh :/

I’d also like it if ads didn’t just shove their way onto my screen on top of posts. I understand the need for ads, that they “need” to make money.
