Two people coming together and trusting one another so intimately after enduring countless traumas that brought them to this point? A moment of growth where feelings are displayed physically because words can't encapsulate what's going on between these characters? Someone thinking they'd never have this moment with a partner, and yet here they are, being worshiped in ways they never dreamed of? Even someone using sex to work through complicated feelings that they can't express, working through something mentally.

Likes YES SURE, sometimes it's just there for fun and to be horny, and that IS SO VALID, but this blanket puritanical statement that "sex scenes don't add to the plot" is BONKERS to me.

I'm very fond of the nagireo getting together scenario of Nagi attempting to confess with his actions because he'd fumble it with words, but they are already so comfortable and intimate with each other that his small gestures of affection are indistinguishable from their normal dynamic and Reo remains oblivious to the millionth confession tucked away in the crook of his neck, his heartbeat steady under Nagi's cheek, while Nagi's lips are so close to his pulse point and yet so painfully distant

Sometimes when I read fanfic or think about Dean and Cas, about their love for each other, I just want to cry my eyes out but they just don't want to come out. I feel my chest clenching and I want to punch a wall. I feel like I should scream my lungs out, but they just won't come out either.

But also they make me soft. I smile goofily at my screen. I feel the need to hug someone or ne hugged. It's really hard to explain how it feels like.

And I want to have what they have but also I'm not sure it would be the same, because it's just fiction. It's also fucking scary.

Is that what it feels to be in love? Man, that's awesome but that's awful too.

They have an interesting and believable dynamic built on a mutual trust and affection, with personalities and character arcs that narratively support each other's while not diminishing either one to "just the love interest", and interactions that support the claim that they genuinely like each other.

Alonzo, when recently joined the junkyard, dealt with being upset by being meaner than usual and lashing out at other cats. however, one time it happens Alonzo curses at a tiny Electra who just wanted to ask something - and Munkustrap is there and simply puts a paw on Alonzo’s shoulder and tells him to stop.

and Alonzo can't quite put it into words but being *touched*? having that warm, firm paw resting on his shoulder might just be the most grounding thing he has ever experienced. he would shake it off and leave, but finds that he not only doesn't want to - he *can't*, so instead he does the absolute opposite and stands completely still while trying to make Munkustrap stay there as long as possible

whatever he was upset about isn't completely forgotten, but it is washed over by a much bigger sensation and i think when he or Munkustrap does leave, he might have something even bigger to consider
