Exam hit me with two concept that I've literally never heard of (or at least never been explained to me).
"semantic html" -> the <> with things like "img" and other clearly-defined content to them.
"dependency injection" -> a method that receives objects, instead of creating them from scratch (aka, literally how all of our programming is done).
Thankfully, they only amount to 15% of the exam-result, so hopefully I'll still pass?
#school#personal stuff#semantic html feels like such a pointless thing to ask about? like. who cares what you call the damn things.#that's like going into english class and asking you to explain the official words for ''...'' or similar non-words#instead of asking you about HOW TO READ.#dependency injection is more of a wtf moment. bcs like... teach? did you not explain the word for this?#did you just use it randomly and fast-forward through it enough that nobody managed to actually ask what the words mean?#(he might've explained it. but i'm pretty sure it doesn't show up in our actual video-materials. so... who knows how that'll go.)#we also got an ''arrange these concepts in the order that they happen'' which was DEFINITELY not covered.#when the fuck were we talking about IP-addresses? hmm? when was DNS mentioned?#i mean i could guess some of the order from the context of it all. but others were wild guesses. so... that's fun.#sooo... yeah. some of the questions were a bit difficult and others were easy. and some of it were just... semantics that don't matter#which sounds about right. i think my teacher might be something of a moron? and hopefully we can rake him over the coals for this.#(though i suppose that depends on if my lack of ''proper studying'' means that i just ''missed things'' that others didn't)#(but like. if NOBODY answers some of those questions correctly? then i feel like we should take him to task for those questions)#(either for him not actually teaching us about those concepts. or bcs they shouldn't have been in the damn exam to begin with)

Tom Blyth x Actress!Reader
TBOSAS Vogue Interviews — Rachel + Tom
(next part will be you and Josh’s interview)
Tumblr media
no descriptors other than reader being shorter than tom but i use she / her. click [HERE] for the table of contents for all things tom x actress!reader
for the interviews, rachel and tom are still paired up since they’re the leads, and you’re with josh. sorry hunter hshxhsdi. also in this tbosas has been out for a month so the cast is allowed to talk specific scenes and give “spoilers”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first bit of the video shows short clips of some answers, but no context as to what the questions are.
“Oh that’s an easy one, my girlfriend,” Tom can’t help but smile.
Rachel playfully slaps him with the card. “I was going to say her!”
~
“Pepper jack,” Rachel shrugs.
“Maybe… maybe a sharp cheddar?” Tom laughs.
~
Tom sighs, “that was quite a hard scene to film. After each take I’d ask if she was alright at least a couple of times.”
“Honestly the games as a whole, because I missed a lot of the stunt training.”
~
THE INTERVIEW —
“Hi Vogue, I’m Rachel Zegler.”
“And I’m Tom Blyth. Today we’re here to ask each other some questions, rapid fire.”
Rachel shuffles the interview cards around. “Okay first question, what would you say was the most difficult scene to film and why? Ooh I have my answer already.”
“You go first, I’m still thinking,” Tom laughs.
“Well for me, the most difficult scenes physically were honestly… the games as a whole. I missed a lot of the stunt training so to have one of my first scenes be me running like crazy screaming for Jessup, it was pretty intense.”
Tom blushes a little. “Sort of piggy backing off of Rachel’s answer, the hardest physically I’d definitely say my scene with Josh when we’re running out of the arena. The first few takes were stopped fairly quickly because either he or I would trip. But the most difficult emotionally, the scene in the cabin with Coriolanus and Nova May.”
“Aww,” Rachel puts her hand over her heart. “That’s was so cool to watch you both but yeah I can for sure see why it would be difficult. Did you guys rehearse it a lot?”
Tom shakes his head. “Not at all actually. We ran through the lines a few times but as far as acting out the whole scene, not until we were on set and they wanted a run through. And thankfully after the third take they were satisfied. That was quite a hard scene to film. After each take I’d ask if she was alright at least a couple of times.”
Off camera, someone asks “how long have you guys been together?”
“Pretty much since we met,” Tom tries, and fails to hide his smile. “So she and Josh were actually cast on the same day in June of 2022. At that point Rachel and I had already been cast, and the 4 of us, it just so happened that we were all in London for one thing or another and we all went out to dinner that night. Knew I fancied her right away, and I wanna say it wasn’t even a couple of weeks later that I asked her to be my girlfriend. Sorry I know I went off topic. To answer your actual question, almost a year and a half.”
Tom and Rachel chat for a couple of minutes as cameras are moved around to capture different angles.
“Next question, something a lot more lighthearted. If you were a cheese, what—”
“Pepper jack,” Rachel shrugs, not elaborating.
Tom bursts out laughing. “You had that answer ready awfully quick.”
“What can I say, I’m a cheese girly.”
“I guess that’s my go. Pepper jack is a good answer by the way. I’ll go cheddar. Maybe… maybe a sharp cheddar?”
Rachel taps her chin as if considering what Tom just said. “Yeah, I could see sharp cheddar. Okay guys sorry they’re motioning behind cameras that we have to speed it up. This is rapid fire and we’ve only answered two questions, sorry!”
“Sorry guys! Okay okay next question. Who is your favorite person to run lines with? Oh that’s an easy one, my girlfriend.”
“I was gonna say her!” Rachel faces the camera. “You guys, she’s seriously the best person for that. She memorizes lines sooo fast. By the end she won’t need a script to help you and she’ll be able to still correct you if you mess up!”
“What — oh wait I’ve already asked that question,” Tom flips through the cards, “okay here we go. If you could play any other character in the film, who would you play?”
Rachel claps and points at Tom. “We were just talking about this! I’d either want to play your character because I think it would be so fun to kind of switch to the villain. Or Nova May because hello she’s a badass.”
“Do you know what, and I swear I’m not making this up, my answers are the same as yours. either Nova May because I feel like she’s the opposite of Coriolanus in a way. Or Lucy Gray because I love that even after the games, she’s stayed true to who she is and she doesn’t let Coriolanus corrupt her.”
Rachel and Tom chat again as cameras and lights are moved around. They each do 2 questions.
“Okay we’ve each got one more question. Ooh this one’s fun! You’re stuck on a deserted island for a month and can have five things with you, what do you bring? And it says people don’t count,” Rachel thinks for a moment, “you go first because I need to give this some real thought.”
“No people, okay let’s see… my phone, one of those solar power generators so I could plug things in, phone charger, a book, and mini fridge. I’m sure I could cook some things up and be able to save them for later.”
Rachel nods in approval. “I am going to copy your first three things because I think I’d go crazy not being able to at least write out my thoughts in my notes app or something, or record what’s happening on my camera. But for my last two things, a guitar now that I can play, and… oh crap this is harder than I thought. And… a surfboard! If you’re stuck on an island that’s the perfect time to pick up a new hobby.”
“I think we’re finally getting the hang of this, of course right at the end. Oh I have the last question that’s right. Let’s see… what three characters from other shows or films do you think would do well in the Hunger Games?”
“I love that question!” Rachel nearly falls out of her chair. “Definitely someone from Game of Thrones — ooh or House of the Dragon! You know what, Juliette would do really good. A bow and arrow can take you really far in the games and that’s her go-to weapon.”
Tom smiles and blushes once again at the mention of his girlfriend, or at least the character she plays.
Rachel thinks about her last two answers. “Joel Miller from The Last of Us, and Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds.”
“Why Spencer?”
“He’s a literal genius. I bet he’d be able to rig a bunch of traps that no one would suspect and he’d be able to eliminate most of the other tributes without any physical contact.”
“Ahh I didn’t think of that. Hmm also from House of the Dragon, Aemond Targaryen. He’s quite ruthless isn’t he, he’d have no problem getting rid of the other tributes. And also Clint Barton, like you said because a bow and arrow is a really good weapon to have. Also… Uhtred Ragnarsson from The Last Kingdom.”
Someone behind the camera says it’s time to wrap it up.
Tom smiles at the camera, “thank you so much for having us.”
“We hope you enjoyed watching, bye!”

I saw one of your stories and I got immediately interested by one of them, then I had an idea more like a head Canon maybe-
So you and Solomon are making a potion for class one of the brothers came into the classroom and a big explosion happened one of you and the brothers didn't brace for impact and then suddenly your future child is there I just want to see everybody's reaction or maybe what will they do in that situation (sorry it's a bit weird but yeah that's all I came up with in my head) ^^"
henlo!!! So you sent in this ask almost 3 years ago (may 20th 2021) I'm so so so sorry i didn't reply sooner, you're probably over this by now 😅 but i felt inspired to write it today so here we go 🫶
🌸Meeting your future kid with him🌸
GN MC
Okay so this time Solomon has some homework to do... sending this kiddo back without messing with the future is gonna take time. Until then you must take care of them! You are the parent afterall!!
Lucifer: 4 months old
Not gonna lie it took him the longest to realize it's YOUR baby WITH him! In his defense, babies can look a bit weird. The baby definitely has your mouth, but his eyes and hairline. He didn't see many infant in his life so this is all new! You can literally see his heart melt when the little baby smiles at him! Shares his part with pride, changes diapers, carries the baby around....just take over when the baby is fussy.
MC I can't wait to meet the baby again... I miss them already, isn't that funny?
Mammon: 3yrs old
Your toddler immediately recognized you and Mammon. You and him looked at each other with an awkward stare, his face is as red as it can be- you are definitely not ready for kids!!! The fact that around 3 years old kids looove disobeying on purpose doesn't help. Mammon gets the hang of it though, he looves his little troublemaker! They could play all day long.
I wanna see ya grow up little man- I looove being your dad!
Levi: 8yrs old
Again, the kis recognizes you and him. Right now he keeps telling you he isn't ready for kids and might never be; same as you!! So how did this happen??? Do you must have one in the future??? Thankfully with an 8yrs old you can already have a conversation, play games with, etc so by the time it's over he grows very fond of them.
MC... I think I have changed my mind- having a kid is a lot like having a small best friend!
Satan: 16yrs
Ah. Your child is as upset as any 16 yr old would be in this case, leaving you and Satan no time to think about the fact you made this person. He does his absolute best to stay calm and see things from the kid's POV, but man is it difficult when your teen keeps lying about important stuff, escapes the house as soon as you lower your guard, fights with anyone over and over who doesn't do as they want despite being so so so sensitive... it is tiring.
I wish I could see what they were like as a little kid... why did I think teens were easy?!
Asmo: 13 yrs
Okay he is very quick at recognizing his own kid; he has YOUR and HIS face memorized. Starts sobbing when he realizes what this means; you are going to be parents!! The thought of loving someone sooo much just sends him over the edge. He buys everyone matching clothes, plans so many vacations you are rarely at home, surprisingly good at answering questions your little one has. (Very comforting, builds their confidence as much as he can!!)
MC, how do I look as a parent? You still love me?
Beel: 1 yr old
Okay, it was obvious the baby is a perfect mix of you two; his eyes are definitely yours though! Beel finds this job to be super important so he spends almost all day with the baby. They play peek-a-boo, he helps your kid to learn to walk and eat with hands, carries them on his shoulder when they get tired. Honestly he doesn't want to let them go back.
MC... I think we should have at least 3 kids!"
Belphie: 6yrs
Okay, he never would've thought he'd have a kid with you; first, you are dating someone else right now and second, he doesn't really like kids. So this one's gonna be complicated. His face turns red though as he has always liked you but you made it clear he is not really your type. Co-parenting brought you much closer; you could see how calm he can stay when he wants to, and how smart he actually is especially when the 6 years old doesn't stop with their questions. How it continues after the kid is back in the future is up to you babe!

I want you to know I love the battle royale and really appreciate all the work you put into it I just have one question
Why?!
Why are you putting Krampus and Troll father against each other! And not only them all of the polls today are sooo hard to decide
I think the first two batch of polls were fairly easy, so I ramped up the difficulty yesterday and today. From what I remember, tomorrow's polls might also be a bit of a problem for you guys, but the next batch will be a bit easier. I didn't want to dump all the difficult ones at the start, cause if I post just the difficult ones, some people might get discouraged from voting. I also try (but not always succeed) to make sure that if e.g. Tom's polls for a given day may be difficult, then AJ's polls in the same batch will be easier.
But yeah, since the first two days were pretty tame, I decided to stop pulling my punches for the weekend ones :p
Edit: I checked Monday's polls - they don't get easier. Sorry. Maybe the Tuesday ones :p

need this matty specifically to rail me to within an inch of my life in that bathtub behind him (minus the socks around it lmaooo) (also no i did not send this ask, you’re wrong)
if it were you who’d sent this ask id check in and ask if you’re okay. But I suppose you are cuz who wouldn’t wanna be railed in a bathtub by this guy?
it’s a shame it’s not you, though….cuz I’ve got some thoughts. They’re unhinged and unrealistic. Do not try this at home kids cuz I suspect it would be cold. But anyways….
Matty heard the sound of her heels as she walked into the bathroom and looked up at the mirror, smiling as her reflection appeared behind him. “You’re not ready yet?” She chastised. “We’re going to be late, you know.”
Matty looked down at himself, then back at her, “what do you mean I’m not ready? I am. Don’t l look good?” He ran a hand through his hair, scrutinizing the grey streak at the front of his hair. “oh, that’s what you’re wearing?” he grinned, “is it not enough?” He glanced at the counter full of products and accessories and then smiled, putting on her leather bracelet, and then her sunglasses “okay, NOW, I’m ready.”
she giggled as he struck a dramatic pose, but she had to admit, he looked way too attractive for this to be a joke. “Hold on, you’re missing one thing.” She grabbed one of the rings off the counter and slid it over his pinkie finger. “There. Now, you’re perfect.” Matty pushed the sunglasses down when he noticed the way that her gaze had lingered on the leather cuff.
An idea occurred to him. A vision, really. He rushed to light the candles that had remained around the bathtub from last night’s elaborate aftercare session, using the cigarette lighter in his pockets. He handed her the sunglasses back before heading for his open suitcase. “Matty, what’re you- we’re already late- people are expecting us!”
“people are boring.” He said, one hand behind his back, hiding what he’d brought back in, his other hand grabbed her by the waist. “Close your eyes and kiss me, yeah?”
***
her knees hit against the porcelain tub as another ruined orgasm evaded her, shaking her body from head to toe. “Please, Matty, please, my love - need-“ she felt suddenly cold when he pulled away from her naked body. he’d driven her crazy, cupping her breasts, kissing in between them, twisting and squeezing her nipples as he pleased, he’d sucked and bitten on her neck, sure to leave a mark that will be difficult to cover up tomorrow. Getting her wet and pushing his clothed center against her throbbing exposed cunt had brought him a smile. “wrists.” He stated simply, and waited for her to offer them willingly for him to tie up above her head. “you wet enough?” A hint of trouble in his question. “sooo wet, pleaseee”
he still slipped his finger inside her to check, taking the chance to tease her a bit. Once certain that it was comfortable, he pulled out the remote controlled bullet vibrator — a purchase made specifically for travel adventures. It’s compact, small, easy to hide, and lends itself nicely to controlling from a distance— slipping it inside of her. “ohh- fuck!” She knew what was coming, and it was torture. He’d clicked it on, taking a moment to enjoy her writhing and moaning against the bathtub before going about his business. “Don’t you dare cum without my say so. You got that?” He announced, casually.
“yeah- yesss.”
her moaning and desperate crying filled the bathroom as he went through her makeup and jewelry items in search of some inspiration. Every now and then, he would remember to click the remote, adjusting the speed or rhythm and hearing her suffer for him. He almost took pity on her when he heard her assure him, without prompting, “I- I- I didn’t cum, I promise. Just- fuck…really really want to.”
he meandered leisurely towards the bathtub and look down, the flickering flames of teacup candles giving him an idea. “you wanna cum?”
“so- so- so much. Please, honey. Please matty….”
as she spoke, matty lifted the candle over her body, tilting it slightly. she shrieked in hot, white pain as the melted wax dripped over her skin. Her back lifting in the air, a feeble attempt to escape her confines. Matty gave her a moment to adjust before repeating the name process again with another candle. as he splattered different colors of wax all over her breasts and stomach, she couldn’t help but clench around the vibrator inside her and, moan, with pain and with pleasure. her gut wrenching cries had turned to small sniffles when he ran out of wax. He sprinkled some of her make up glitter all over her burning skin and pulled out his phone for some photos as she shook and held in her orgasms, dutifully. the flashing phone camera had alerted him to her tear stained cheeks, making him smile. “alright. You’ve had enough, darling.” Gently, he crouched down, reaching over and slipping the toy out of her. she whined pathetically. in response, Matty lined up the shower head with her cunt and turned on the water. He used his empty hand to expose her clit focusing the water stream directly on it. “cum for me, my darling. Let go. Let me have you.”

Hello!
Random Fuuta moment! ✨
Who would be your top 3 besties if you were part of the KHR universe? (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
Hey sweetie!!
I’m all for random Fuuta moments, thanks for the ask o((>ω< ))o
Now, I’d say I’m a rather easy going person and not that difficult to get along with, but I really don’t deal well with conflict and bossy people which already puts a looooot of characters out of the running for the Lix’ Bestie contest.
Considering that, I think my top 3 would be:
Bestie #1 Fon:
Look, I don’t know when or how I became such a sucker for Fon but damnit, I’m committed now! Like, look at this man: he has mastered the Zen™. He will look chaos in the eye and tell it no. He’s just vibing in the eye of the Storm, sipping tea and I need that in my life okay!! Also, he has a dragon tattoo which instantly gives him the Lix stamp of Approval! (Just dragons dude… Dragons make everything better.)
Bestie #2 Yamamoto:
He’s just this solid, go-with-the-flow kinda dude. Super reliable and very much ride or die, so he makes for great best friend material in my opinion. Plus he has a sword. It’s always good to have a bestie with a sword by your side in case someone needs a good stabbing.
Bestie #3 Spanner:
Now, this one was a bit tricky, I admit. I wanted someone sciencey since I’m a little science gremlin (credit to my buddy @myrmyrtheorca for that title) and I thought having a research buddy would be neat. Now, my specialty is cell biology and biochemistry, so Verde would probably have been the best candidate subject matter wise, but he's honestly quite intimidating to me. Like, he's genius levels of smart and I'm just a small guy playing around with cells, so I doubt I'd be able to keep up with him and that would make for a very frustrating friendship. Therefore, the pocket-sized scientist is out, and I needed to focus on other ventures. I'd guess Gokudera would have also been an option, he's a smart cookie after all and he must know looots of chemistry for making bombs, but I think I can only handle him in small doses, so he's also out.
I gave it a bit more of a think and concluded that Spanner would have been a good choice. Again, a very easy going guy and he has a mad scientist vibe without me fearing dissection when interacting with him. I know his field is mechanics and all, but I do have a background in material science, so we could make it work. Maybe do some prosthetics stuff, build a cyborg or something, it’ll be fun!
This was a great question! I never really thought about it, so it took me some time to come up with an answer. Thank you for your patience (*/ω\*) Also, I have the attention span of a demented badger and get distracted very easily, sooo yeah. Sorry it took me so long.

The Way We Were (2/3) - Steve Harrington X fem!Reader
summary: Following on from Part 1 we discover the reason behind Steve and Y/N's strained relationship and might even see some reconciliation.
word count: 6.7k (I lost control)
warnings: s4 spoilers, swearing/cursing, sexually suggestive remarks (only minor), and I think that's it?!
a/n: I'd suggest reading Part 1 for context! This starts in a flashback somewhere before the start of s3 and then switches to "present day" s4. Honestly I apologize for it being sooo long, things went from 0-100 between the first part and this. There's still one final part planned for this series which will be full of drama and possibly smut 👀 Feedback appreciated as always!
The Way We Were [1] [2] [3]
Masterlist & Requests!
-
Starcourt Mall, 1985
As Y/N stood waiting outside Scoops Ahoy she couldn’t help her eyes scanning the store, an antagonised looking Steve Harrington catching her attention.
In front of him stood a familiar head of black hair and Y/N chuckled, recognising the unstoppable force that was Erica Sinclair. It wasn't uncommon for the young girl to give him a hard time on the job, demanding too many free samples and taking a torturous amount of time to pick a flavour.
Y/N wandered over to the pre-teen, bound to do her good deed for the day. Of course, it wouldn't hurt if the good deed meant that she got to say a quick hello to Steve, either.
"Erica, give the guy a break won't you? It's bad enough that he's got to wear this getup in front of actual live people, he doesn't need you making his life any more difficult.” She appeared behind Erica, attempting unsuccessfully to hold back a mirthful smile as she caught Steve’s eye.
The girl in question turned to Y/N with a raised eyebrow, an otherwise deadpan expression on her features as an arm came to rest sassily on her hip.
"I don't know, Y/N. That doesn't really help me out in any way now, does it? I think you need to sweeten the deal."
"Fine, I'll pay if you're out of here in thirty seconds." Y/N levelled with her, pulling some cash from her purse and setting it down on the counter for Steve.
Y/N knew Erica through her old babysitting gig and to say that she wasn't the easiest of kids to look after was an understatement. Whilst she was rarely called to look after her any more, or any of the other kids for that matter, Erica and Y/N had managed to reach a mutual understanding and level of respect for each other over the years, though it hadn’t been an easy road getting there.
The secret, Y/N found, was to give Erica a bit more freedom and to ask less questions, and in return Erica would give Y/N a bit more respect and less cheek. Only slightly less, though.
The girls eyed each other for a moment before Erica beamed, turning back to Steve to order the largest cone Y/N's money would allow.
When Erica finally left the shop Steve turned to Y/N with a look of sheer relief, a genuine, heart-stopping smile on his face. It was hard to remember that he was just a friend when he could be so damn charming.
"Y/N, you're a lifesaver."
"It's nothing, I know she can be a handful so thought I'd come to rescue the damsel in distress." She winked at him, leaning on the counter and making herself at home.
"How can I ever repay you?" He grinned back at her, hand coming to rest over his heart dramatically.
"Oh, I'm sure I could think of a few ways."
Y/N knew she was being flirty, maybe a bit more forward than usual, but it wasn't out of character for her and Steve to throw around the odd suggestive comment to each other.
Not that either of them knew, but they had both been dancing around unspoken feelings for a while now. Neither was willing to be the first to admit it so they stuck to toeing the line of casual flirting, still testing the waters.
Sure enough Steve floundered for a second, caught off guard by Y/N's forwardness, before quickly recovering and fixing her with a characteristic grin.
"Yeah? I'd love to hear more about that, how about tonight? It's been a while since we hung out, you know."
"A while? Steve, we caught a movie last week." She laughed in earnest, shaking her head.
"Still, I've missed you - I mean, we've missed you, right Robin?"
"Smooth, dingus." The girl in question rolled her eyes as she scooped up a customer's order and handed it to them carelessly, "Nice of you both to stop flirting long enough to remember that I exist. Thanks for saving our asses with the brat, Y/N."
A light blush crept up Steve's cheeks at Robin's comment and Y/N felt her heart stutter, suddenly keen to avoid eye contact with him.
"Anyway," Steve continued hastily, shooting Robin a look of warning that seemed to amuse her more than anything, "You wanna come over tonight? We can watch Saturday Night Live, maybe order some-"
"Y/N! You coming or what?"
The sound of her voice being called from outside the shop caught her attention, Steve following her gaze to see none other than Billy Hargrove outside of Scoops Ahoy, standing as though he was waiting for the girl in question.
"What's he doing here?"
Y/N had the grace to look a bit sheepish. She knew the history between Billy and Steve having arrived at the Byers house last fall to the aftermath of their fight; a semi-conscious Steve bundled into the back of a car whilst Max alarmingly fixed blocks to the gas pedals - Y/N had put a stop to that immediately, of course - and Billy passed out on the living room floor.
It hadn't been a pretty sight and Steve had definitely come out of it worse off, but then there had been the more pressing issue of Will and the Mind Flayer to deal with.
Besides, that was a while ago now and things had changed, people had started to move on. She and Billy had both started as lifeguards at the pool together and although she wouldn’t exactly call him a friend, and probably never would after everything that had happened, he had gone out of his way to be, dare she say it, nice to her at work, though she couldn’t say why.
They’d just finished a busy Saturday afternoon shift and Y/N was starving, so when Billy offered to give her a lift to the Mall to grab something to eat she’d said yes, truly only thinking of the food and not about how it might look to anyone else, least of all Steve.
"Are you on a fucking date with him?"
Steve's tone and language caught her off guard, a complete shift from how upbeat he had been moments before.
"Steve!" Y/N reprimanded as a couple of Scoops Ahoy customers had turned their heads at his words, looking affronted.
Robin had also frozen at the outburst, mouth agape as she looked between the pair uneasily. Usually she'd be the first to jump in with a silly quip to dispel any awkwardness, but even she didn't seem to have any words to offer.
"Seriously, he beat the shit out of me and you're, what, dating him now?" Steve demanded, eyes fixed fiercely on Y/N. He couldn't bear to look past her to the guy in question again, just knowing that he would have a shit eating grin on his face.
"I'm not dating him, we work together, Steve." Y/N responded firmly. It was the truth, she had absolutely no interest in dating Billy Hargrove, "He just asked if I wanted to grab some food after our shift, it's nothi-"
"You can't go out with him, no way."
Y/N bristled instantly. If there was one thing she despised, it was being told what to do.
"What do you mean, I ‘can't'?" Her eyes flashed dangerously, challenging him to continue. He was evidently on a warpath as he immediately responded to her hotly.
"I mean you can't go out with that asshole, Y/N. He's literally the worst."
"You can't tell me who I can and can't date or hang out with, Steve."
"Yeah? Well how about this, you hang out with him, then you can forget about tonight!"
Y/N had never seen him this angry, let alone with her, and her heart hammered in her chest as she struggled to retain her composure under his furious gaze.
"Uh, Steve, I really think you should calm d-" Robin attempted to cut through the argument, mouth snapping shut and hands raising in surrender as Y/N bit back at Steve, completely ignoring her attempts to mediate.
"Fine! If that's how you're going to be, you can shove SNL up your ass, Harrington!" She turned on her heel, storming from Scoops Ahoy as unshed tears burned the back of her eyes.
Y/N didn't stop to greet Billy as she left the shop not wanting anyone, least of all him, to see the effect that the fight had on her.
She was already regretting the decision to grab something to eat with him, although surely there wasn’t actually anything wrong with that, was there?
Billy had simply offered to give her a lift and Y/N agreed, purely focused on the prospect of a greasy meal at Burger King after a long day working in the heat. Apparently that decision had been a big mistake.
Steve watched as Y/N practically ran from Scoops Ahoy, eyes betraying him as they landed on Hargrove who had been watching their exchange with a greedy interest. His grin widened at Steve, a taunting laugh leaving his lips as he followed after Y/N.
"Shit!" Steve cursed loudly, gaining even more disapproving looks from customers as he ripped off the stupid uniform hat, running his fingers through his hair in frustration. A few had already got up and left during the embarrassingly public fight.
"You need to apologise to her, dude." Robin said quietly but matter-of-factly from beside him.
He whipped around to look at her incredulously, "Me?! She's the one on a date with that asshole!"
"See, if you'd actually used your ears and listened, she specifically said they weren't on a date."
"Yeah right." Steve scoffed loudly, turning to serve a customer who was looking very awkward at being caught in the middle of a clearly intense conversation, “It’s Hargrove for christ’s sake. Of course it’s a date.”
He quickly filled their order and had to fight not to snatch the cash from their hand as they paid. He felt like throwing their change back at them too, not that any of this was their fault, he was just so frustrated and wanted everyone to disappear. Or maybe the ground would open up and swallow him, that could work too.
"Listen, Steve. Y/N is your friend right? You trust her. Why would she lie to you?" Robin reasoned, and he had a fleeting thought that this might've been the most sensible that she'd ever been, "Besides, she's right, you know. You can't tell her who she can and can't date unless you pull your finger out your ass and ask her out yourself."
"I-it's not like that. I'm just trying to look out for her." He lied, knowing full well that Robin had hit the nail right on the head.
If he was truthful, he was angry because he couldn't stand the thought of Y/N dating anyone else, let alone Billy fucking Hargrove.
The worst thing about it all was that he knew he didn't have any right to be upset over it, and instead of just confessing his feelings and asking her out like a normal person he had to go and blow up at her, probably ruining any chance he might've had.
He was sick of everything in his life turning to shit. Surely he was due a break at some point?
"Sure it isn't." Robin rolled her eyes, "While I might be younger than you, Steve, I wasn't born yesterday. It's so unbelievably obvious you two have the hots for each other. You're both just too chicken shit to admit it."
Steve hung his head, thanking god that the crowd in the shop had finally started to thin out, the last thing he wanted was any more of the population of Hawkins watching him have a meltdown.
"No way, she's too good for a loser like me."
"Oh please, spare me the dramatics." Robin threw her head back in exasperation, she'd be damned if she was going to give Steve another pep talk. He looked aggrieved, but she didn't give him time to reply as she pushed on.
"You two have been pissing me off with all your flirting and shit for weeks! Do you know how much I regret going to watch that god-awful Creature film with you both after work that time? Never again. She was pretending to be all scared so that you’d hold her hand, and you didn’t take your eyes off her for a damn second to even watch the movie - it was super annoying!" Steve's eyes widened at this, his mouth opening to protest, but Robin jumped in holding a finger up to silence him, "Oh yeah, I've got news for you buddy, you ain't that subtle!"
A long silence stretched out between them as a lone customer walked up to the cash register to order, Steve ringing them up and Robin scooping up the bubblegum pink ice cream to hand over.
When the customer was finally out of earshot, she turned to him with a gentler tone, but still firm nonetheless.
"If you're going to let one stupid fight ruin things with her then fine, but I don't want to hear any more about it. No moaning, no sulking, no nothing, you got it?"
He sighed, running a hand across his face before he nodded at her.
"Fine. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but do you think you could help me? I don't wanna screw it up any more than I already have."
"Sure thing, dingus. You need all the help you can get."
-
Resigned to the fact that, annoyingly, Robin was right, Steve resolved to apologise to Y/N.
He didn't think that he could quite manage actually asking her out at this point, but at least it'd be a start if she was willing to accept his apology. They could go back to normal, if nothing else.
That was how he found himself rehearsing his apology in the car the following evening, going over the words he'd come up with, assisted by Robin of course, under his breath as he drove over to Y/N’s place.
As he pulled up to her house he was still muttering to himself, but stopped suddenly at the sight of a familiar car on her driveway. Fucking typical.
Steve almost swung his car around and left right then and there, but Billy Hargrove had already left Y/N's house and was in the process of walking to his own car, so he decided to just avoid him and continue on with his plan as he brought his car to a screeching halt, throwing on the handbrake with unnecessary force.
Steve wasn't intending to speak to Billy, wasn't even going to look at him as he tried to remain focused on Y/N's front door, but as the men passed each other Hargrove spat out a tense greeting.
"What the hell are you doing here, Harrington?"
Steve ignored him, rolling his eyes as he continued up the drive in silence. Nothing good would come from engaging with Hargrove, he'd learnt that lesson several times.
"Just to warn you, I doubt she'll be up to much. We just finished a pretty heavy workout, if you know what I mean."
Steve's jaw clenched in an effort to stop himself snapping back, he was pretty certain that Billy was just trying to get a rise out of him, but he couldn't deny that it was starting to work. Anyone else, he thought, anyone else he could deal with. But this guy was something else.
"I'm sure you do, right? She's alright for an Indiana girl. Nothing special, but at least she's easy."
He swung around instantly at the comment, striding the few steps to meet Billy and they stood face to face, staring each other down.
Steve was almost physically biting his tongue to keep from lashing out, fists clenched tightly at his sides in the hope that by some miracle his glare would be enough to shut Billy up. It wasn’t, of course.
"Huh, maybe you don't know after all. I could describe it to you if you like, Harrington, her tight little -"
It felt like something in him snapped, a hot rage flashed over him at Billy’s words and Steve lunged forward, grabbing him by the collar of his stupid, half-unbuttoned shirt, and shoving him back into the side of his car.
Billy’s head struck the car door, hard, but he just laughed and Steve had to wonder if he actually enjoyed having the shit beat out of him. He was crazy.
"Steve!" Y/N's frightened voice came from somewhere behind him, "What are you doing?!"
He turned to see her running down the drive towards them, appalled gaze fixed on him. Great, things were just going from bad to worse.
"What's wrong with you two, I thought you were over all this!" She berated them, relieved that she’d been passing her kitchen window and had noticed the altercation quick enough to catch it before it progressed any further.
"Y/N, you didn't hear what he was saying about you." Steve looked to her imploringly, not wanting to hurt her feelings by telling her Hargrove's disgusting words, but needing her to know the truth. She frowned, opening her mouth to question him, but Billy jumped in before she could make a sound.
"Bullshit. Stop lying, Harrington, you just can't stand the fact that we're friends now."
"God, just shut up, will you!" Steve turned back to him, hands flying into the air wanting desperately to smack the smirk right off his face. He restrained himself, bringing his hands to his own head and grabbing at his hair in frustration instead.
"Steve!" Y/N called his name again reproachfully, her hand reaching out to touch his arm gently, "What's gotten into you? I've never seen you like this."
Both boys remained silent, Steve finally breaking the glaring contest to turn and walk a few paces away from Billy in an attempt to cool off. Of all the scenarios that had gone through his mind when preparing for this moment, this certainly hadn’t been one of them.
Y/N, reassured by the distance between the two that there wouldn't be any physical fighting, took the moment to glance back at her house and caught her mother's worried face at the window.
She addressed both boys firmly, "I think you'd better leave, both of you."
There was a beat of silence before Billy nodded, much to Steve's amazement, and bid Y/N goodnight as he started to climb into his Camaro.
As he turned away from Y/N he shot a grin and wink at Steve, clearly incredibly pleased with himself. Once in the car Billy brought the loud engine to life quickly, revving it a few times for god knows what reason before he pulled away, tyres screeching.
Steve hung back as the roaring of the engine faded into the otherwise calm evening.
"I don't get it, Y/N. Can't you see he's bad news?"
"Steve, I don't know what the big deal is.” Y/N sighed, pleading softly with him. She hated arguing, especially with Steve, but wasn’t prepared to back down when she hadn’t done anything wrong, “I know you have history and all, but I told you there’s nothing going on with Billy and I. Mom’s been having trouble with her car and I mentioned it at work, so he offered to come over and take a look at it for m-"
"Oh great, so now he's friends with your mom, too?" He responded sarcastically, eyes rolling. He hadn’t intended it to come out so bitter, but the prospect of Billy in her home charming her mother felt too personal, like something a boyfriend would do.
"That's not what I said, Steve. I wish you’d stop being so irrational about this!"
"And I wish you'd tell me the truth! You're fucking him, aren't you?"
He regretted it as soon as the words left his mouth, his stomach sinking at the look of utter betrayal on Y/N's face.
He didn't even believe what he was saying, really. He knew that Billy was just trying to wind him up, that Y/N wouldn't lie to him, yet there was a tiny voice in the back of his head that couldn't seem to stop whispering doubts into his mind.
He was a loser, after all, as much as he tried to put on a front. He'd flunked school, had a god awful job, and hardly had any friends besides a bunch of middle schoolers.
And then there was Y/N who had everything going for her. She was all things good; kind, funny, intelligent, pretty. God, she was so pretty it hurt, especially when she’d grace him with one of her dazzling smiles or laugh at one of his cheesy jokes.
She wasn't smiling now, though. Not even close, and it was all his fault. He hated himself for it.
"I can't believe you'd say that." Y/N choked out, face scrunched up in hurt and anger. The beginnings of tears twinkled in her eyes as she blinked rapidly to hold them back. She wouldn’t let him see her cry.
"I'm sorry. I-I don’t know why I said that. I'm so sorry Y/N, I didn't-"
He reached out to touch her hand, heart dropping even further as she snatched it back harshly, shaking her head at him.
"Get out of here, Steve. Go!"
He didn't know how he'd ever explain this to Robin. She'd told him it was a fool-proof plan, but apparently that wasn't the case. He was a fool, and he had managed to ruin it.

The Creel House, 1986
Y/N watched Steve and Nancy out of the corner of her eye, noting with a small pang of jealousy how easily they seemed to fall back into each other's company as she stood picking cobwebs out of his hair.
Y/N knew she shouldn't feel jealous, that she had absolutely no right to be. It wasn't like she and Steve were dating, or that they ever had for that matter. In truth, Y/N didn't even know whether they could still call themselves friends at this point.
She especially knew that she couldn't be precious over Steve being friendly with another girl, not when their problems had started the way they had. No, that would make her the definition of a hypocrite.
Steve and Nancy parted ways, Robin dragging Nancy down the hall to a different wing of the house as Steve rejoined Y/N in the room she was currently investigating.
She wasn't quite sure how they'd ended up together, but after Robin immediately paired off with Nancy, Steve had practically pounced on Y/N, steering her quickly up the stairs grumbling something about getting stuck babysitting again.
Y/N swung her flashlight around the room, squinting in the darkness at the eerie remnants of furniture and belongings left behind by the Creel’s. From the looks of it they were in the daughter's bedroom, with an unusual amount of dolls that looked like they were straight out of a horror movie scattered around.
“So… You and Nancy.”
It blurted from her lips like word vomit, almost an out of body experience as Y/N heard the words tumble from her without consent.
"What about me and Nancy?” Steve appeared genuinely confused at the question, a bemused frown on his face as he followed her aimlessly around the room. He honestly had no clue what they were supposed to be looking for, but hoped that she did.
"You two seem… Like old times. Are you guys back together?" She hid her face from Steve quickly, pretending to be engrossed in examining a particularly creepy looking doll as she outwardly cringed, silently cursing the betrayal of her own mouth that seemed hell bent on broadcasting her thoughts to the one person she was trying to hide them from the most.
“No, we aren't back together." He gave a short, humourless laugh and Y/N wondered briefly if he was irritated or amused at her for asking. She could understand if he was annoyed, after all she had given him a hard time about questioning her relationship with Billy.
Y/N set the doll down, turning around quickly to cross the room to get some space between her and Steve, embarrassed that she'd even had the nerve to ask him that question. She hoped that the distance would stop her stupid mouth from blurting out anything else she'd regret.
The thing was Y/N loved Nancy, she was kind and brave and an all-round badass, they were friends and Y/N admired her. If there was anyone that was worthy of Steve, it'd be Nancy. And Y/N would never resent them finding happiness in each other, even if she couldn't deny that the thought sat uncomfortably on her chest.
"Me and Nance are just friends, Y/N." She wasn't sure why Steve had felt the need to elaborate for her, or why he had followed her across the room again when they were both supposed to be searching it, but she couldn’t deny that she felt a bit brighter at his words,"Why do you care if we're dating, anyway?"
"I don't, I was just making conversation." She lied, shrugging her shoulders in what she hoped was a nonchalant way. She refused to meet his eye as she continued wandering around, pausing to open drawers and pick objects up wherever possible in an attempt to avoid any further interaction with him.
The whole trip to the Creel house wasn’t going well, they were supposed to be gathering information to help them fight against Vecna and all Y/N could think about was Steve.
"What’s going on with us, Y/N?" His words cut through her thoughts and she jumped, fumbling with a book that she'd been flicking through.
Steve wasn’t usually that upfront, at least not when it came to her, and she floundered, scrambling to find her words. Addressing their relationship, if you would even call it that, certainly wasn't on her list of priorities at that moment in time.
“W-what do you mean?”
“Come on, you know what I mean. Last night I thought maybe we were getting back to normal, and now you can barely even look at me."
"Now isn't the time, Steve. We're supposed to be-"
"When is the time?" He interrupted, snatching a trinket box that she'd been trying to distract herself with from her hands and placing it back down on the table firmly, "After we've all been ripped apart by Vecna? Y/N, what happened to us?”
Recovering from the shock of Steve's forwardness Y/N narrowed her eyes, irritated that he'd not only picked the most inappropriate moment to bring everything up, but mainly because he was acting as though he hadn't been the cause of the problem in the first place.
“You know exactly what happened.” She fixed him with a steely, unwavering look. Steve stared back at her for a moment before turning away and rolling his eyes.
“Yeah, you started dating that douchebag.” He muttered sarcastically. It was quiet, but from his tone he had intended for Y/N to hear him and it achieved the desired effect as she immediately bristled.
“See, this is the problem!” A hand shot up to pinch the bridge of her nose, she already had a god awful headache and this was just adding to it. Y/N stepped towards the door to leave despite having not searched the room properly at all, fed up at the prospect of another argument, “Since when is it any of your concern who I date, Harrington?”
Steve reacted quickly, grabbing her wrist before she could leave and spinning her to face him. He’d be damned if he'd let her slip through his fingers again, especially when they were in the midst of another life or death situation.
“Uh, since he was an absolute asshat, Y/N. And before you say anything, I know I shouldn’t speak ill of the dead, but you can’t deny that he was. I was just trying to look out for you."
“Well firstly, Steve, I never even dated Billy.” She responded matter-of-factly as he scoffed, disbelieving, “We just worked together like I tried to tell you a million times, but you wouldn't listen to me would you, you absolute bonehead!" She raised her voice at his scoff and lifted a hand to poke a finger in his chest angrily, fed up with how completely pigheaded he was being.
Steve ran a hand over his face, they were going around in circles and although he hated to admit it, he knew it was his fault. All because he couldn’t let go of the Billy thing which seemed so stupid now.
He glanced over at Y/N and despite her angry outburst she looked sad, eyes wide as though begging him to believe her.
“I don’t understand why you won’t believe me.” She said desperately, “After everything we've been through, I don't know what I did to make you not trust me?”
Steve hung his head, knowing she was right. He and Y/N had been through so much together from the Demodogs to the Russians, and everything in between. To think that he had let what now felt like something so small and insignificant come between them was laughable, if it hadn't caused them both so much hurt.
From the looks of it they were headed rapidly into a load more shit too, and Steve suddenly felt emboldened by the realisation. He couldn’t risk going into whatever was around the corner with Vecna without finally apologising to Y/N, without making things right.
He sighed heavily, “I'm sorry, Y/N. Believe it or not I've been trying to apologise to you ever since that day at Scoops, but I just keep screwing it up."
Steve knew he wasn't great at talking about feelings and emotions and all that crap. If he had to guess he'd probably say it had something to do with absent parents, but that was an issue for another time.
If there was one thing that the whole experience with the Upside Down had taught him, aside from how to kill a Demogorgon of course, it was that life was too uncertain.
So even if he had to fumble his way through the conversation sounding like a complete moron, he knew that he had to suck up his pride and not only apologise to Y/N, but to also tell her how he felt about her before it was too late.
"I-I guess when I saw you with him after everything that happened, I felt like you’d picked him over us… Over me.” Sure enough Steve found himself stumbling over his words, embarrassed at how ridiculous it sounded now that he was admitting everything out loud.
“Steve, that's not true. I wasn’t even friends with him, but you still made it seem like I had to make a choice between you.”
“I know, and I’ve regretted it ever since. I just-" He paused to take a steadying breath, preparing to be the most honest and vulnerable that he had been with a girl in a long time, "I couldn't stand to see you with him. The thought of you together drove me crazy, I was so jealous.”
“Why on earth were you jealous?” Y/N's brows knit together in confusion, all traces of anger or irritation were now gone from her voice, replaced with curiosity and perhaps a bit of hope.
“Because I wanted to date you.” Steve answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world, "And I couldn't get the stupid idea that you were with him out of my head. I should've listened to you, hell I should've just asked you out then and there! Maybe we could've avoided all of this."
“You wanted to date me?” A shy smile graced Y/N's lips and Steve felt his heart begin to race. If he didn't know any better he would've said that she looked happy, maybe even excited at the thought.
“Yeah, I mean, I thought I was obvious about it?” Steve huffed a laugh. Robin always said he was furthest thing from subtle when it came to Y/N, and thinking back to all the awful one liners that he'd used, and the ridiculous excuses he made to get to see her or be close to her, he couldn't disagree with his co-worker turned best friend.
Hell, one time he'd driven all the way out to a record store several towns over to pick up the new Dire Straits album for her after it had sold out in Hawkins.
When he'd turned up on Y/N's doorstep later that evening with the record in his hands, the smile on her face had been heart-stopping. She’d showered him with thanks, throwing her arms around his neck and giving him the tightest hug he'd ever known, before dragging him up to her room and putting the album straight on.
Steve insisted that it was no big deal, that he was already going there to run an errand for his parents anyway, but that wasn't true at all. Y/N's reaction was well worth all the traffic and wasted hours sitting in his car though, and his heart swelled as he sat on her bed watching as she danced around the room while listening to it for the first time.
When he finally left her that evening he wasn't able to control the dopey, lovesick smile that stuck to his face for the entire drive home.
Surely that had been an obvious indication that he saw her as more than a friend?
"I didn't know." Y/N replied truthfully, "I thought maybe… But you used to flirt with all the girls that came into Scoops. If I'd known…" She trailed off, averting her gaze to the floor nervously.
Despite Steve’s confession, a part of Y/N still thought it was too good to be true. She'd always assumed that flirting was just the default for Steve when it came to girls, she had never dared let herself think that he thought of her any differently, despite wanting it desperately.
"If you'd known, then what?" Steve pressed, reaching out to take her hand and squeezing it gently in encouragement. The action seemed to ground Y/N and she looked back up to him, feeling her confidence grow at the look of hope he held in his soft brown eyes.
"I was never interested in dating Billy, or anyone else for that matter. I thought it was obvious that I liked you too." She responded bashfully, a rush of excitement coursing through her at the admission.
She felt giddy at the realisation that all of the small moments she'd clung on to, the seemingly accidental touches here and overly flirty remarks there, they weren't just foolish hope on her part.
Steve actually did like her, he did see her as more than a friend and although it had taken them both too long to admit it to one another, Y/N still couldn't control the exhilaration she felt now that they had finally had.
"I mean, come on, Steve. Alien isn't scary." She grinned, falling effortlessly back into their familiar banter, "To tell you the truth, I love horror movies. I just used to let you pick them so I'd have an excuse to cuddle up to you on the couch."
Steve stood, dumbfounded for a moment, before breaking out into an equally broad smile.
"Yeah, well I hate them." He admitted with a chuckle and shake of his head, "I was always scared shitless trying to hold it together for you. Do you know how many sleepless nights I had over A Nightmare on Elm Street?"
They both laughed, Y/N’s head filled with the image of Steve wide awake at 3AM, sitting in bed holding a baseball bat to fend off Freddie Kruger. She wouldn't put it past him, she was sure he still had those makeshift ones in his closet to this day.
Steve recaptured her attention as he lifted a hand to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear, and Y/N suddenly found her laugh dying on her lips.
A nervous electricity ran through her at the contact, her body fighting to stop a shiver running up her spine as her eyes met Steve's steadily. His hand hovered next to her, hesitating for just a second before he lowered it to rest against her neck, a thumb brushing across her jaw softly.
“I guess Robin would say we've both been real dinguses, huh?” She whispered, voice suddenly small at the intimate touch.
“It kills me to say it, but I think I might agree with her for once.” Steve took a slow step towards her, brown eyes boring into hers. Y/N felt paralyzed, unable to move under the weight of his gaze as her heart hammered wildly in her chest in anticipation of what would come next.
“Y/N, I knew you were the one the moment you decapitated that Demodog at the junkyard - totally hot by the way." She laughed at his words, there was the same old Steve that she knew so well.
"Thing is, I’ve been a total coward. I should've told you how I felt from the start, but I need you to know now, even if you don’t feel the same. I totally understand if you don't, by the way, I know I’ve been a real jerk and-”
"Steve.” Y/N cut off his rambling, taking another step closer to him boldly. She opened her mouth to continue, but her voice caught in her throat as she saw his gaze flicker to her lips and back.
She swallowed, tongue darting out to lick her lips instinctively.
Steve's hand slid to the back of her head, tilting it back gently as his fingers buried themselves in her hair. He studied her face momentarily, taking in her features that he’d missed so much, before dipping his head to meet hers as her eyes fluttered closed.
“Jesus, what the hell is taking you guys so long?!” Dustin’s irritated voice cut through the room, shattering the moment and causing the pair to jump apart as if burned.
Steve threw his head back, cursing loudly as he turned to Dustin with a glare.
“What?" Dustin, completely oblivious at the moment he'd interrupted, frowned at them both. Steve looked absolutely furious, shaking his head slowly at the teen, and Y/N as though she'd been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
“Nothing. Absolutely nothing, Henderson.” Steve smiled sarcastically, it was taking everything in him not to wring the teens neck. That was the second time in the span of 24 hours that he'd ruined a moment between him and Y/N.
“Good. Can you both hurry up then? We’ve found something downstairs.” Dustin responded impatiently, tutting at them as he left the room.
“Sure, not like you were interrupting anything." Steve replied under his breath bitterly, watching his retreating back with venom. He turned to Y/N, disgruntled, "Is that kid ever going to give us a moment's peace?”
“I wouldn't count on it, Romeo. Come on, we’d better go.” She smirked, throwing a wink over her shoulder at him as she disappeared from the room.
Steve followed reluctantly, a smile working its way onto his face as he observed Y/N descending the stairs with a noticeable bounce in her step that definitely hadn't been there when they'd entered the house.
“By the way, did you call me a bonehead?” He called out to her, relishing the sound of her tinkling laugh as it floated up to him.
“You are a bonehead, Harrington."

A/n- omg I’m so sorry for the wait, work decided to take over my week, and I was supposed to have it off, these are a little rush and I decided to give it kinda a open ending but I hope you enjoy 💕
Tumblr media
(Y/n) cursed each one of her friends. Every one of them. (Y/n) hoped to leave Aoba Johsai quietly, she was happy with how everything was. Everything was relatively quiet, she had a few close friends, good grades, and was happy staying out of the spotlight. Yet her friends just had to come up with a mess that up for her. They just had to open their mouths and say something. There was a small part of her that was kinda happy that they called her out, maybe this could be her time to shine. But that sometimes, there was no need to call her out. So many things can go wrong. What if her voice cracks, what if everyone makes fun of her, what if she just ends up embarrassing herself. It was those types of thoughts that really made (Y/n) not want to do this. They just haunted the back of her mind, but she was already too far into this to just quit. A little part of her was also curious to see what’s going to happen afterward, what’s going to be the reaction from the others, will they like it, how will this change her outcome of graduation.
As all those thoughts began to fill her mind, (Y/n)’s friend around her all began to finish up the preparations for the small little concert she was going to put on. Because it was (Y/n)‘s friend's idea, they were in charge of it. They planned the event, got the time and place, all the equipment, and made sure that everything was going to go smoothly. All (Y/n) had to do was make sure her voice was warmed up and that she brought her guitar, which she definitely made sure to do. Her guitar is one of those things where it provides her comfort, even if she doesn’t play it just holding it gives her some type of reassurance. With her friends almost finishing the preparations her heartbeat began to grow more and more. (Y/n) could hear it all throughout her body. It wasn’t even going to be a big performance, just a small one during lunch. It’s not like it was at an assembly, people could either stay and watch or just walk by. Whatever they do, it’s still going to be embarrassing. (Y/n) doesn’t talk much to other people, besides her friends, and now she’s going to be singing in front of the whole school? Oh, how the stress and anxiety were eating at her. She slowly began to pick at the strings on her guitar, playing a small part of the song softly. If she knew one thing, it’s that (y/n) had picked one of her favorite songs she knows like the back of her hand. So at least she won’t stumble or mess up the words. Softly humming the song too, (y/n) could slowly feel herself calm down, it wasn’t by much but it was enough to where she would be able to stand on top of the stage without shaking. At least there’s that.
“(Y/n), you ready?” (Y/n) flinched at the sound of her friend's voice. She was hoping that it would take them longer, but the longer they take the more (Y/n) anxiety would build. (Y/n) lifted her head from her guitar and stared at her friend. They could easily tell that (Y/n) had a lot going through her mind. Putting a reassuring hand on (Y/n)‘a shoulder, her friend spoke up once again,
“You ready? We’re all finished.”
“Uh…y-yeah I guess.” (Y/n) nodded as she stood up, clutching her guitar in her arms. Her friend let out a small scoff as (Y/n) followed behind with heavy footsteps. Her heart was pounding with both fear and excitement as she walked up and onto the stage.
Was the cafeteria always this bright? Were there always this many people? All this worrying was not good for her. Luckily, even though there are so many people, none of them seem to catch the eye of (Y/n) yet. They all seemed to be absorbed in their conversation. A few would glance in her direction but then look away just as fast. She was hesitant, very hesitant. As soon as she walks to center stage, mostly everyone's eyes were gonna be on her.
“Come on, don’t back down now.” Her friend chimed in, giving (Y/n) a small push. She stumbled forwards a bit before spinning away and softly glaring at her.
“Yeah, it’s your time to shine~ They’re all gonna love your voice. I know I do.”
“Coward.”
“Huh? Coward?” (Y/n) gasped at the word. If she was a coward she wouldn’t have agreed to do something like this in the first place, “I-I’m not a coward, I agreed to this whole thing!”
“Then go up there and prove it. Until you do imma keep calling you a coward.”
“Alright, alright I’m going.” (T/n) puffed her cheeks as she spun on her heel and stood center stage, as she fixed her guitar strap and her mic, she quietly muttered to herself, “Jeez talk about peer pressure….”
Even though they were pushy about they meant well. If it wasn’t for them and giving (Y/n) the push she needed she would’ve chickened out a while ago. Now standing center stage, more people began to look over in her direction. Their glances wouldn’t stay long before they looked back. Still extremely nervous, (Y/n) fixed her mic once again, before she steadied her fingers on the first cords. Taking one a deep breath to clear her mind, (Y/n) you closed her eyes and strummed the first chords. Although her eyes were close she could feel everyone’s attention shift to her because of how quiet it was.
For now, she was just doing the small guitar solo. It the easiest part of the song, and an easy way to calm her nerves. With her eyes being closed, she was able to avoid the states of others and with the small solo she was able to build up her confidence, now it’s all she has to do is sing. Taking a sharp inhale, she began,
“So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart”
~~
“Hey, Iwa-chan you hear that?” Oikawa had stopped on his tracks as soon as he heard the sound of a guitar-playing softly. Turning around he noticed that they had just passed the entrance to the cafeteria, Oikawa took a wild guess and said that where their music was coming from. Iwaizumi noticed that Oikawa wasn’t following behind him anymore so he turned around and saw that Oikawa's attention was on the cafeteria.
“Huh?”
“It sounds like some type of performance.” Oikawa pointed out again, as he began to walk towards the door.
“Oh, yeah, wasn't that one girl singing something today?” Iwaizumi quickly followed after him.
“Was she?” Oikawa questioned, as the 2 of them made it to the door. They were both taken off guard once they saw (Y/n) standing up there. They knew (Y/n) but they didn’t know her close at all. The 3 shared a few classes and passed each other in the hallways, but that’s pretty much it. (Y/n) was also quiet, she didn’t talk much. The most the boys have ever talked to her was when they had a project or when they were asking what the lesson plan was. Besides that (Y/n) was mostly shy yet seeing her up on the stage was shocking. All alone too, that took a lot of courage. And the way she looked so natural too, there wasn’t any hesitation in her movement and she was so confident. It was a side of her they never thought they’d see.
“Her eyes are close though.” Oikawa muttered to himself, as she began to sing.
“So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart”
“Shocking, right?” Hanamaki commented as him and Matsukawa walked up to the 2.
“Her friends apparently pushed her into doing it,” Matsukawa added on, as all 4 of the boys watched as (Y/n) confidently sang the song. She was way different than the girl they passed in the hallway. It was so interesting to see her like this, Oikawa found it hard to even look away. So while the 3 others continued to talk, Oikawa’s eyes stayed glued onto her.
“She’s so pretty.” Oikawa quietly muttered out loud as he continued to watch her sing. The boys were quick to bring their attention back to him.
“Oi, get in line. You're not the only ones who think that.” Hanamaki pointed out elbowing Oikawa right in the side.
“Huh?”
“We’ve both liked her for a while now. We’ve been trying to talk to her for a while but we can never find the right time. So we were going to go after her performance, maybe she’ll be a little more chatty.” Hanamaki explained as Matsukawa nodded behind him.
“Both of you?” Iwaizumi questioned as his eyes trailed back to (Y/n). There was something that pulled Iwaizumi towards her too. He wasn’t sure but she just seemed so beautiful and welcoming, he found himself wanting to get to know her. It was safe to say that Oikawa was feeling the same thing too, as soon as he laid eyes on her. All 4 of the boys found themselves wanting to get to know her and spend time with her. Without saying a word, there was already one thing going through each of their heads: ‘Imma be the first to befriend her!’
“So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No, nothing else matters”
As (Y/n) had finished the song, a round of applause had risen for the crowd of students. Finally opening her eyes, (Y/n) took a look around and was in shock. So many people had gathered around the stage and were all applauding her. She was really not expecting this to happen. Maybe a few people, but not this many. All the nervousness that once filled her body had completely disappeared and was replaced with excitement, so much excitement. (Y/n) couldn’t hide her large smile, she was so lucky to actually listen to her friends. With her smile hurting her cheeks she looked over to her friends and giggled, this was amazing. Her friends all laughed along with her as they run up and hug her.
“You did amazing!”
“I know I did. That felt amazing.” (Y/n) laughed as she continued to hug them. It really felt amazing.
With the applause dying down, one of her friends had grabbed the mic and thanked everyone for coming to listen. While she did that, (Y/n) and the others went backstage to celebrate some more.
“That really was amazing. I knew everyone would love your voice.”
“I guess you aren’t a coward anymore.”
“I was never a coward and I proved it.” (Y/n) laughed out loud as she began to take off her guitar. Her body was shaking from excitement, it was hard to stand still. As soon as she put down her guitar she was practically jumping up and down, “Oh my gosh, I’m shaking so much. That was so fun. Maybe I should just drop out and become a singer.”
“You definitely have the looks for it. You already found yourself a fan too.” Oikawa commented as the 4 boys walked up to the group of girls. They all turned around and eyed the boys, seeing who appeared. (Y/n)‘s friends we’re definitely caught off guard, the 4 star players of Aoba Joshi’s volleyball team have just shown up and complimented her. (Y/n) was far too excited to even think too much about it.
“You really think so. I’d have to write my own music, they’d be a little hard but I think I could do it. It would be best doing all that unnecessary homework.” (Y/n) blabbered on as she smiled up to the boys. They were very taken with how much she talked, they’ve never heard her talk this much and definitely not this loud before, she’s always had such a quiet and soft voice. But now with the newfound confidence, (Y/n) seems like she’s going to open up a lot more. Now all the boys definitely would love to get to know her.

Alberto's Math (Pt. 6?)
Okay, so this isn't Vespa math, but I wanted to try a "sequel" scene of sorts; this is a continuation of Alberto's Vespa Math Parts 4 and 5.
Most of these drabbles will be independent of one another, and I swear after this I will go back to Vespa math XD.
Alberto has recently discovered that his math abilities span past Vespa math. However, he doesn’t see the point in doing math without Vespas. They’re the only thing he’s interested in calculating; well, besides food. He’s decided to stick to Vespa math and Vespa math alone.
(Alberto enters the kitchen to find Giulia doing summer homework at the table. She recently used him to figure out math answers, and he’s still pretty mad at her for it. When he glances over her shoulder, he can see that she’s doing different math now, though she’s just as frustrated. She won’t use him this time. Actually…)
Alberto: The answers are [-4- _/144,718]/3 and [-4+ _/144,718]/3 for the one question, and 12 for the other. (_/ is sign for square root)
Giulia: Ooh! For which ones?!
Alberto: *smirks* For the two questions you asked me last week.
Giulia: What? But I asked you those last week! I don’t need them now!
Alberto (as his smirk grows): Exactly.
Giulia: *eye twitches and she clenches her teeth as she tries to remain calm* Okay. Then what are these answers?
Alberto: Mm, pass.
Giulia (who is stuttering with rage): W-Why?
Alberto: Call it payback for using me last week. (He changes his tone to “teasing” before speaking again.) Have fun Giulia~!
Giulia: *snaps her pencil in half in rage* That’s it!!
(Giulia screams in Italian as she begins wrestling with Alberto, who’s practically choking on laughter.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Alberto got a few bruises from Giulia and decided to get out of the house for a bit. He’s walking through Portorosso when he spots Ercole trying to impress a group of Portorosso’s younger kids. The catfish lost a lot of followers after the Portorosso cup, but some of the really young children are still naïve to his tricks.)
Ercole: -he tried to attack me, but I outsmarted him! I used olive oil on the floor to make him slide away. *looks proud of his obvious lie*
Young girl: Wow Ercole! You’re really smart!
Ercole: Of course, I am! I am Ercole Visconti! No one can outsmart me!
Alberto (as he rolls his eyes): Really Ercole, give it a rest. Everyone is smarter than you.
Ercole: *glares at Alberto* Oh really? What do you know? You’re a sea monster, you aren’t nearly as intelligent as a human!
Alberto: *gets up in Ercole’s face* Oh yeah? What’s the square root of 9,806,452,731?
Ercole: Easy. 87,207. *puffs out his chest*
Alberto: *scoffs* Wow, you’re wrong, shocker. It’s 99,027.53522.
Ercole: *practically growls* Obviously you’re lying because you’re jealous of my mathematic prowess!
Alberto: Okay then, I’ll prove it! Er… *spots Signora Marsigliese walking down the street* Signora Marsigliese! Could we borrow a moment of your time? *waves at her*
(She approaches the group.)
Signora Marsigliese: Can I help you with something, ragazzi?
Alberto: Could you ask us a math question that you know the answer to? Preferably something difficult.
Signora Marsigliese: Mm… I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, let me grab a paper and pencil and I’ll work out a problem.
(The group waits as she fumbles through her bag, gets out paper and a pencil, and works out a math problem. Ercole and Alberto glare at each other the entire time. By the time Signora Marsigliese has finished, a slightly bigger crowd has accumulated. They heard the commotion and saw the boys glaring at one another. Luca is among the crowd.)
Signora Marsigliese: Alright then, simplify 3 to the fourth power divided by 4 to the eighth power, times 320 (3^4 / 4^8 x 320.)
Alberto: 0.395507813.
Signora Marsigliese: *looks impressed* Correct.
Ercole: What?! You could not possibly have answered that quickly! He saw through the paper!
Luca: But Ercole, he was glaring at you when he answered.
(Some of the crowd members chuckle.)
Ercole: *stamps his foot on the ground* No! That is not fair! I demand another question.
Alberto: Fine, I’ll let you answer this time. Signora Marsigliese, would you ask a similar question, please?
(The crowd remains silent as she calculates another problem.)
Signora Marsigliese: *makes sure the paper is covered* Simplify 2 to the twelfth power divided by 3 to the fifth power, times 207. (2^12 / 3^5 x 207)
Ercole: Simple. It’s eh…. C-carry the 1…. *sweat forms on his brow* 3,516?
Alberto: 3,489.185185. You’re only 26.814815 off.
Signora Marsigliese: Alberto is correct.
(The crowd gives hums of approval as Ercole begins throwing a fit. He screams and kicks over a barrel, hurting his foot in the process, which causes him to scream some more. Eventually, he stomps away from the scene. Alberto gets some praise. When the crowd dies down, Luca approaches him.)
Luca: Was Ercole picking on those kids?
Alberto: No, but he was lying to them. Probably trying to gain followers that he can boss around again.
Luca: *hmms in thought* He needs to try making honest friends for a change.
Alberto: Not like he deserves them. He tried to kill us.
(Alberto wraps his arm around Luca’s shoulder and leads him towards the Gelato shop. Celebratory gelato is required.)
Alberto: Sooo… were you impressed? *blushes*
Luca: *chuckles fondly and blushes* You always impress me; but admittedly, listening to you do math is amazing.
(Luca wraps his arm around Alberto’s back and both boys lean their heads against one another as they walk. Alberto decides that using his math powers to annoy and impress others is just as fun as Vespa math.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
BONUS SCENE
(Alberto and Luca are on the island. They’re stargazing from the roof of Alberto’s tower, like they used to.)
Luca: Did you know humans use a weird phrase to describe people they could get into a relationship with? They call them “fish in the sea.”
Alberto: *chuckles*What?
Luca: *sits up*Yeah! They’re all like: “Well maybe you can’t be with him, but there are still plenty of fish in the sea!”
Alberto: *laughs*That’s crazy!
Luca: I know, right!
(Luca lays back down and looks back into the night sky. He sighs and grows melancholy.)
Luca: Well… I learned that there are about 3.031 billion people in the world. And I know sea monsters have never really gotten a good population count, but the number is probably similar, right? How do they know when they’ve found the right life partner? What if the person they want to be with doesn’t want to be with them?
Alberto: *looks over at Luca* Why are you so worried about it?
Luca: Well…. What if it happens to me?
Alberto: …I can tell you the probability of that.
Luca: *locks eyes with Alberto* With math?
Alberto: *smiles at him* I don’t need math. The probability of you struggling to find someone who will love you and cherish you for the rest of your life is 0%. You’re amazing Luca, and someday you’re gonna meet someone you love that will be very lucky to have you.
Luca: *blushes*Do you really think so?
Alberto: *reaches over to intertwine their fingers* I know so.
(Both boys smile at each other before going back to their stargazing. Their hands remain intertwined with one another.)

NEEDED ME [ k. bakugo ]
anime: my hero academia
pairing: bakugo x black!fem!reader
warning(s): swearing, drugs, under the influenceness, underage drinking
plot: attending your first college party should be fun but first you have resolved friend drama to handle. or...is it more complicated than that?
note: this is a college au! where after high school, the students attend UA University before entering the hero world. this is also apart of my lil series i’m working on with bakugo and an oc that isn’t out yet but will be!
Tumblr media
the large frat house was packed with young adults by the time the three girls had shown up. it was their first, off campus party with some local college a few miles away from them. y/n was nervous but excited and grateful to sero for scoring them access to such a stacked event.
“do you see anybody?” momo asked loudly over the bass-thumping music.
mina and y/n shook their heades, keeping their eyes peeled for any familiar faces. the party started at ten, but it was midnight when the girls showed up. mina claimed that it helped draw attention to them, which isn’t what the other two wanted.
however, y/n had to admit that mina wasn’t a liar. most people had started to bring their attention to them as they moved through the crowd to a more spacious area. she spotted todoroki’s two-toned hair somewhere in the crowd and the closer she got to him, the better she was able to identify where he was.
“i see todoroki in the kitchen. maybe he’s with the others.” she announced over her shoulder, continuing to head his way.
sure enough, there was todoroki with midoriya, ochaco, tsu, and tokoyami. “heyyyy guys! you finally made it!” ochaco greeted the three girls, wasting no time in pulling them into a hug.
y/n noted how she already smelt a bit like alcohol, not too much but enough to make her tipsy. she was a bit surprised to smell it on the preppy girl but figured ochaco would end up trying it sometime in their college career.
“eekkk you guys look sooo cute!! i can’t believe you managed to get tokoyami and todoroki out here. have you seen anyone else from our class?” mina asked, maneuvering her way through the kitchen to get some drinks for her friends.
y/n went to stand by todoroki, squeezing her way into his corner as she waited for her drink from mina. the kitchen wasn’t as crowded as the rest of the house but there was still a good amount of people in there. while her friends talked, she wondered if bakugo was there. he had been acting weird since they last spoke, when they argued over her ‘relationship’ with shindo.
she couldn’t tell if he was mad at her for blowing him off to spend time with the boy in her class but if he was, she didn’t understand why. bakugo used to blow her off all the time whenever kirishima or the boys wanted to hang. sure, it sucked at first but she didn’t make a big deal about it.
this whole situation was so weird to her and she wanted it to be over with.
“so, are you and bakugo still not talking to each other?” todoroki asked, starting his own private conversation with the girl next to him.
y/n paused in her response, grabbing the drink from mina and taking a sip before speaking. “uh yeah, i guess we still aren’t on the best of terms.”
“and it’s bothering you?”
“well yeah. bakugo’s like my bestest friend and if he isn’t talking to me then i don’t know what the fuck to do.”
the others had filtered out of the kitchen, choosing to either go search for their friends or mingle with new people. y/n felt a headache coming from stressing over her situation with bakugo and from the loud music ringing in her ears.
“maybe you should talk to him. he’s been staring at you for the past five minutes now and honestly, it’s a little creepy.” todoroki advised, motioning his head to the area across from them.
sure enough, bakugo was standing by the wall in the living room. drink in hand and an intense glare on her, one that didn’t seem to be breaking any time soon.
rolling her eyes at his stalkerish behavior, she thanked todoroki for his advice and made her way through the crowd to him.
“so what? you was just gonna stare at me the whole night?” y/n asked, cutting straight to the point when she stopped in front of the boy.
bakugo sucked his teeth before drinking from his red cup. “saw you talking to icy hot. didn’t wanna interupt anything.” he muttered, suddenly looking anywhere but at her.
“please, like that has ever stopped you before. i don’t like this katsuki.” she said, giving him an annoyed look to get her point across.
wordlessly, bakugo pushes off the wall and grabs y/n by the forearm. “lets go outside.” he said softly, leaning close to speak in her ear.
she nodded, following him outside of the busy house and onto the front lawn. there were frat guys kegging, trash loitered about, and some kids running through a makeshift slip n’ slide drunk off their asses.
“why are you upset with me suki?” y/n questioned as soon as bakugo had let her go and stopped walking.
bakugo sighed and finished the rest of his drink, crumbling up the cup with little effort, tossing it in one of the trash bags laying around. y/n assumed it was the fraternity’s attempt in trying to encourage trash cleanup by the partygoers.
“this shindo kid...i don’t like him for you.” he spoke seriously, looking y/n right in the eye to convey his sincerity.
y/n raised an eyebrow inquisitively, finding it difficult to believe that that was his reason for acting like such an asshole the past few days. “are you serious?”
bakugo’s sincere look quickly turned into one of irritation at y/n’s lack of trust in his words. “i didn’t fucking stutter.” he bit.
“you don’t even fuckin know him! we’re literally just work partners, i don’t understand where all this hostility is coming from. it’s fuckin ridiculous katsuki.”
bakugo let out something akin to a growl as he aggressively kicked at some trash before him in an attempt to let out some aggresion. “he looks at you like you’re an easy fuck! and you’re walking around without a care in the fucking world while he plots to make a move!”
y/n stared at him, mouth agape and eyes wide, shock was written all over her face. everything bakugo was saying kept sounding more and more out of pocket. “is you smokin dick or something? shindo and i are. friends!!! get that through your head because the way you’ve been acting towards me these past few days has been completely out of character! like what the fuck?!”
“you don’t get it do you? you’re so goddamn dumb that you really don’t see it. he doesn’t want you y/n! he wants your body and i’m trying to save your dumbass from making a mistake!” bakugo argued, his hands beginning to sweat nitroglycerin the hyper he got.
y/n laughed dryly, amused at bakugo’s ability to act like he knew what was best for everybody and that all his friends needed him, whether they knew it or not. “see. that’s it! right there! that’s the shit i be talking about. you talk like you got a fuckin god complex! like we need you to protect us. well guess what bakugo, i don’t need you. i don’t need you to tell me what to do. i don’t need you policing who i can and can’t be friends with. i don’t need you acting like you’re my boyfriend when you’re supposed to be my friend!”
y/n’s tone of voice garnered some looks from the people around them but she didn’t care. she was fed up with bakugo’s overprotective nature. it was fine in high school because she figured it would pass once they got to college, but it’s clear now that he’ll always see her as something he has to protect. and that wasn’t how she wanted to live her life.
for a moment, bakugo looked hurt. defeat in the air and a certain sadness in his eyes, it made y/n realize her mistake but it was too late. the damage was done.
“you’re right, i’m not your boyfriend but i’m not your friend either.” his voice was low and calm but even y/n could tell that he was genuinely hurt by what she said.
“shit katsuki, i’m sorry—”
“don’t. don’t call me that. you’ve lost that right.” bakugo had cut the girl off coldly, an icy glare masking the true pain that he felt in that moment.
i mean...how else are you supposed to feel walking away from the love of your life?
unable to come up with anything meaningful, y/n just watched as her best friend walked away from her and out of her life. i do need him. maybe more than he needs me.

.Hello, Teen Crisis Hotline. Clone High//Van Gogh x Reader
Depressed!Van Gogh x Reader
A/N: I use depressed a bit loosely in this one so there’s no trigger warning.
Word Count: 2357
~~~~~~~~~~
When Joan had come to you asking that you help her out with the Teen Crisis Hotline you couldn’t say no. You weren’t the closest of friends, but the two of you had an unspoken rule that if shit were to hit the fan, you’d have the others’ back. Or in this case, if one needed help with something, the other would do what they could to help.
If you were being honest with yourself, you were thrilled when she asked you to help her out. You had always wanted to do something to help those who are struggling mentally since you knew how serious and overlooked mental health was.
Joan had specifically asked that you help out with the hotline the day of JFK’s party, which you quickly agreed to. It wasn’t like you were going to that party.
But you figured she probably was going, despite her saying she wasn’t, to try and get Abe to notice her. Seriously, she could do sooo much better.
It was a little past 7pm when you had gotten the first call. It was a female talking about how difficult her school work was becoming and how stressed she was becoming because of it. You talked to her for about 45 minutes, comforting her and giving her tips on how to stay organized and study.
After that it was quiet for the next couple hours and you were doing school work during that time. Gandhi had forwarded a call to you around 10pm without a heads up and your phone began ringing. You answered it with a cheerful,
“Hello, Teen Crisis Hotline. How may I help you?”
“Hello?” The person answered. Their voice was deep and slightly raspy, yet it didn’t sound especially masculine.
“ Hello,” You greeted again, “Are you alright?” The person sighs before answering,
“For the most part, yeah.” Okay, definitely a guy.
“I-Um,” The guy continued, “Am I on…speaker phone?” What was this guy talking about?
“No, you’re not on speaker phone.” You responded. You heard the guy shift on the phone before saying,
“Good, the last person I talked to had me on speaker,” You heard his voice crack, “There were a lot of people who laughed at me because of it.” You were pissed at Gandhi. You knew he was an ass that didn’t care about the hotline, but you didn’t think that he would do something as shitty as that.
“Gandhi put you on speaker?” You asked, not even think about it.
“Yeah…” He sighed.
“God what an ass,” You said before you even realized it, “I mean-I’m sorry that he did that to you. I can assure you that you’re not on speaker and I’m the only one here.” You corrected yourself. You heard the guy chuckle before saying,
“No you’re right, he really is an ass.” You giggled to yourself before remembering what you were here to do.
“So, how are you feeling?” You asked. The guy was quiet for a while before answering you.
“I’ve…been better,” He said, “It’s just…okay, I already have depression and for a while it wasn’t too bad; I was able to kinda keep it in check. Lately, however, it hasn’t exactly been that easy.”
“Ah, I understand what you mean. Do you have any idea why it’s been getting worse?” You asked. He was quiet for a moment and you were worried that you had struck a nerve.
“I do,” He began, “Ever since I’ve gone here, I’ve been kinda…‘harassed?’ I’m not sure if that’s really the best word but recently it’s been getting worse.”
“Would you mind telling me who’s doing this?” You asked when you thought he was done.
“Um, yeah, I would. I-I don’t want to call anyone out.” He said. You were a bit upset that he didn’t tell you since you couldn’t help him if you didn’t know who was doing this to him, but at the same time you understood.
“Okay, that’s fine, I understand. Do you…have any support? Like from your family or some close friends?” You asked.
“Well, my foster parents are okay. They care about me and I know it, but I don’t think they really love me. As for friends…” He paused and sighs, “I’m not really good at making connections with people, so I don’t really have any friends; besides maybe the people I work with in class.” You were quiet, making sure he was done, before continuing.
“Alright. I do want to know, how do you deal with this harassment?” You questioned and once again he was quiet for a moment.
“I, uh, don’t really do anything? Like, if you’re asking what I say to them then I don’t say anything. But if you’re asking how I cope with everything…” He trailed off.
“How do you cope?” You asked him. You heard him shift again yet he remained quiet, “Do I need to be concerned?” You inquired after your mind had thought of the worst.
“No, no, I just…I listen to music a lot,” He started, but you didn’t say anything to try and get him to speak more.
“That and, uh, I cry…a lot. Sometimes I just turn the lights off in my room and cry. It’s…comforting in a way. I don’t know how to explain it.” He choked out, his voice cracking a few times.
“I understand what you mean,” You say, trying to comfort him, “Sometimes it just feels nice to let everything out. Personally something I do is get in the shower clothed and just…cry, letting everything out. I know it sounds odd but, for someone who cries to cope, this is one of the best pieces of advice I can give you.” You explain to him. You hear him chuckle on the other side of the phone.
“I’ve actually heard that one before,” He said, and you imagined that he had a smile on his face, “I haven’t done it before though. Everytime I’m hit with one of those emotional outbreaks I’m just too tired to start a shower.”
“It really do be like that sometimes.” You say with a dopey smile.
“Yeah,” He sighed, “One of the only ways I was able to…to cling to my sanity was that no one known how miserable I truly am. But it would seem that I lost that since Gandhi put me on speaker phone.” He admitted with a sniffle at the end.
You were quiet for a moment.
“You’re lonely, aren’t you?” You quietly inquired. You heard him suck in a breath and shift again.
“How did you know? How could you tell?” He quickly questioned.
“It wasn’t too hard for me to piece it together,” You began, “You said that your foster parents do care about you, but not in a familiar way which had probably created a border between you and them. You also mentioned how it’s difficult to form connections with others, so you most likely don’t have anyone in the school to talk to. The fact that you called the hotline in the first place also suggests this. Therefore, you probably spend a lot of time by yourself, and no matter how much of an introvert someone is, being alone for that long would eventually get…lonely.” You finished, waiting for him to say something. Maybe you went too far with that analysis?
“Wow that’s…impressive that you were able to determine that so quickly.” He said.
“Was I right?” You asked curiously.
“Yeah, pretty much.” He answered. The two of you were quiet for a while before you asked him,
“Could you tell me your name?” This whole time you were trying to determine who you were talking to. Right now, you’ve managed to narrow your list down to four people: Issac Newton, Charles Darwin, Vincent Van Gogh, or Ludwig Von Beethoven.
He hesitated for a moment before answering you.
“I’m Van Gogh, Vincent Van Gogh.”
“Called it.” You said in your head, smiling.
“I see,” You say, “I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you Van Gogh.”
“The pleasure’s all mine.” Van Gogh greets.
You thought about where to go from there until an idea pops into your head. A devious smile spreads over your face before you speak.
“You know what I think you need, Van Gogh?” You heard him hum in question, “A little bit of revenge on Gandhi. I’m 97% sure that’ll bring your spirits up.”
“What are you suggesting?” He asked, and you would hear the smirk in his voice.
“You are an artist, aren’t you? Well, it’s your lucky day because I’m the clone of F/N L/N, one of the best acrylic painters in history.” You announce before continuing, “I’m suggesting that we make a…memorial of Gandhi, commemorating his work for the hotline.” It was quiet for a few seconds before Van Gogh asked,
“What floor are you on?”
“Floor 5, room 18. I have a shit ton of acrylics and spray paint. If you’ve got gouache, bring it.” You answered quickly.
“Be there in 5 minutes.” He said before hanging up.
You laughed as you quickly got your shoes on and gathered your spray paints in a duffle bag, putting your acrylics and brushed in a plastic container. You slung the duffle bag over your shoulder when you heard a knock at your door. You answered it, being greeted by Van Gogh in all his tiny glory.
“You bring the gouache?” You asked while locking your dorm’s door.
“I’ve got gouache, oil, and acrylics.” He answered with a smirk. You smiled and couldn't help the heat that rushed to your face. He was so adorable. Yet so…despicable.
“Got any complaints about stopping by that party real quick? It’ll be easy to get in there since it’s late and they’re probably hammered by now.” You suggested, glancing over at him to gauge his reaction.
“Lead the way.” Was his answer. You did as you were told, the two of you making your way over to JFK’s house as quickly as possible. You snuck in through the back -- you had to help him over the fence -- and from there you two looked for Gandhi.
Van Gogh had spotted him first; he was talking to Joan, something about screwing herself over. Joan had quickly removed his belt and Gandhi said something but you weren’t in range to hear it before she held up his boxers -- which you assumed to be his. His pants fell and you looked away as he was quickly…“exposed” by her.
“Ah, good thing there was no one around to see that.” Was all you heard from him as he turned around and walked away.
“Oh yes,” You heard Van Gogh say next to you, “No one, indeed.” He finished while looking at you with a smirk. You smirked yourself when it clicked in your head what he was planning to do.
“I’ve got just the place.” You said while getting the two of you out of the party.
Next thing you knew, you two were in front of a wall that the majority of students walked by when going from their dorms to the school. The two of you started on your painting and it took you close to three hours to finish it, but it was very much worth it. You and Van Gogh signed it at the bottom and had even taken Van Gogh’s photo with it.
It was past 2am when everything was said and done, so the two of you made your way back over to your dorms. You walked with him to his dorm, chatting with him the whole time.
It was weird; it felt as if you had known him for years, the conversation between you two coming so naturally, yet you had only known him for a few hours.
When you had reached his dorm you asked,
“Hey, what time do you leave to go to school?”
“Around 7am, why?” He answered.
“Great, I’ll be here at 7 to walk with you,” You said while turning and making your way to your own dorm, “Goodnight, Van Gogh, see ya’ tomorrow!” You shouted back at him. Van Gogh smiled to himself, face warm.
“Goodnight, Y/N.” He said. You turned and smiled at him before turning the corner and heading up stairs.
Even after you had gotten back, set everything down and changed you couldn’t stop thinking about him. He was so lovable, how could anyone make fun of him? You figured people saw him as an easy target since he’s usually quiet and passive.
But you’d make sure he’s treated better. That was your final thought before drifting to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~
Staying true to your word, you made sure you had gotten up early -- only getting like 4 hours of sleep -- to walk Van Gogh to school. When you had made it to his dorm he was already waiting for you, and it was only 6:50am.
The two of you made your way to the school, talking the whole way. Your conversation quieted down when you turned the corner that had the painting on it.
There was a crowd of students laughing and taking pictures. Looking through the sea of students you saw Gandhi, slack-jawed and in awe. You quickly pointed him out to Van Gogh and the laugh that left his lips was a nerdy, yet adorable and just perfect to you.
The two of you continued to walk by and people cheered for you both.
“See, look: they like you.” You say while nudging his shoulder. His face blossoms in this bright pinkish-peach color that you have never seen before and the same chuckle leaves his lips again. Your stomach did flips and your face felt hot.
“Thanks, Van Gogh, Y/N!” You heard Joan yell from somewhere, but you were too focused on Van Gogh to care. It was his voice that brought you out of your dazed state.
“Thank you, Y/N, for helping me and all.” He said while rubbing the back of his neck. You cheeks were sore, but that didn’t stop you from smiling one last time.
“No problem, Van Gogh.”

(imma try to make my asks shorter lol cuz i feel bad for taking up sm room on your blog dkdjdkjd) oooh that’s fun! i love kids lol i have a job as a teacher assistant and i work with kids that are like 4-6 years old 🥺 oH which is where i got the inspo for that one riki drabble with lil yn kissing lil riki on the cheek and stuff lol. that actually happened in one of the classes 😭 it was so cute skdjsjsj
how did you learn english btw? and ugh i totally understand. english grammar is SUPER confusing. even as a native speaker, sometimes i question my own grammar lol. so i always admire ppl who learn english when it’s not their native language, esp when they’re as fluent as you! <3 srsly
and i’ve heard of georgia. idk much about it tho lol. i only know of it bc when i was in grade 8, for fun (literally FOR FUN 💀 SKSJSK), i memorized all of the countries of the world and where they’re located on a map lol i was a huge nerd ig skjdksjd so yeah i’m familiar with georgia but ik like nothing about it sksjsk and the alphabet is sooo pretty pLS. is it an easy alphabet to learn? like compared to english let’s say lol
naur really? my vocab has impressed you??! whEN?? sksjsdkjs i remember in your work there were words that impressed me lol which is another reason why i find it so hard to believe eng isn’t your first language!!!! naurrr thank you 🥺 your def one of the vv talented writers on here too, i’m serious. also also! the long hc in your drafts (did you say it was a hc? lol i can’t remember already skdjskd im soRRY) idk if you’ve talked about it more before bc i’m literally terrible at keeping up w things but mind me asking what it’s about? 👀😏
HELP PLS DONT WORRY ABT THE SPACE ON MY BLOG😞😞 i have over 1.5k posts alr and its literally just me screaming and crying so we're good dwdw
AND PLEASE THATS SO CUTE :( i love kids too but theyre such a pain in the ass sometimes, especially the very young ones like 2-5 years old cuz during that age they're more... actuve ig :/ HOW DO U EVEN TAKE CARE OF THEM I WOULD'VE GONE MAD HELSPSMNS
and we learn english at school, from grade 1 up until grade 12 but the level is VERY LOW. we use the same A2-3 or smth levels EVERY SINGLE YEAR so it gets very infuriating as someone who's i guess ahead of everyone else because i know all that stuff already 😭😭😭 and yeah english grammar is a bit confusing but it's nothing compared to russian AND ESPECIALLY GEORGIAN GRAMMAR. as a native speaker,,,, yeah georgian grammar is fucking hell. it may look simple but it's far more difficult than english, german, italian, french & all that jazz :/ its a very difficult langauge overall. sometimes even i'm not fluent in it, that's how difficult the grammar is 😭😭
also grade 8 u was insane bcuz WHY?? WOULD U DO THAT 😞😞 i can't even memorize the name of my own country were you okay??? and yeah our culture is actually very unique and just overall based more on the artistic side. we have our own dances, singing, our own food, clothing and a very very long history. we may be small but we have definitely kept our traditions throughout the centuries and i'm very proud of that, so that stuff is also very hard to get used to when it comes to foreigners visiting or even moving here because it's VERY different from other places. as for the alphabet oH GOD NO ITS DEFINITELY VERY HARD TO LEARN, we spend at least 4 years with different types of textbooks that are specifically made to learn how to write the letters with step-by-step tutorials and guides. we also have some letters shortened a bit like ლ,დ so it's even more confusing for people who aren't fluent to read what we write 😭😭 and as the years pass everyone develops their own calligraphy (which is even more unique because of our strange alphabet) yet we can still somehow understand what the other is writing? it's very weird and definitely not an easy language or an alphabet to learn for foreigners.
ALSO YEAH WHAT IM WRITING IS KINDA?? HEADCANONS??? bulletpoints? idfk atp its a mixture of drabble + headcanon + bulletpoint and i had the time of my life writing it but now im too lazy to proofread (which i probably wont do at the end of the day OOPS) and write for the two members that i have left :///// and i'll give sort of a hint (?) it has smth to do with enhypen and highschool 😋😋 the rest is up to your imagination (well until it's released ofc) its smth that i haven't really done before cuz i usually do normal bulletpoints so it's kinda hard for me but Oh well there's a first for everything and i need to step out of my comfort zone sometimes 😈💪

Dusk to Dawn
enlightenmonth // [day 1-4] morning or and evening Summary: after a long night of hanging with friends, Hikari asks Koushiro to walk her home. As they walk together in the late night, they ask each other deep questions take enlighten their perspectives on one another. Happy Enlightenmonth, everyone! I’m so excited to see everyone’s work! Bear with me with my writing (haven’t written anything Koukari in a couple years…) I hope as the month goes along my stories will be better!
Two silhouettes walked side by side down the house’s walkway, away from the loud tempo beats and laughing crowds. The chirping of crickets and the cooing of doves drowned out the upbeat music with each step the two took away from their friend’s house. Koushiro’s hands were shoved in his pockets and his eyes were locked on the ground beneath him. Hikari, on the other hand, was light on her feet and humming a soft tune.
“Aww, you two are leaving so soon? But the party just started!” A voice shouted from the balcony of the house, causing the two to stop in their tracks and turn around.
“Yeah, Mimi! I have something to do in the morning and asked Koushiro to walk me home!” Hikari shouted back. “Thank you for inviting us! Tell Taichi that I will meet him at home!”
“Will dooo~! Thanks for coming!” And with that, Mimi skipped back into the party.
As soon as the balcony door slid shut behind her, Koushiro let out a long, unknowingly held breath and the two continued walking. “For only being back from America for this short of time-,”
“She sure does know a lot of people,” Hikari finished his sentence. She glanced over at the boy next to her. His hands still in his pockets and eyes still on the ground. He looked so tense from where he was.
Koushiro mumbled under his breath, “What did she mean ‘the party just started?’ It’s almost three in the morning.” A tiny giggle escaped Hikari’s lips from his statement, causing him to look up at her and slow his pace. She skipped along the path in front of him, still humming to herself.
After a couple minutes quietly observing the optimistic girl, he managed to ask, “So, what do you have in the morning?”
Hikari stopped humming and slowed down a bit. “I’m, uh, meeting a friend for pancakes in the morning. Haven’t seen them in a while.”
Koushiro squinted his eyes at the sound of her wavering voice, but decided best to ignore it. He let out another uneasy breath and trudged along.
As the two walked side by side, Hikari could sense the tenseness slowly radiating from the boy. She could hear the overthinking gears in his head. Every thought. Every calculation. Every probability. It needs to stop.
“Hey, Koushiro?” Hikari asked, looking up at him.
“Hmm?”
“What’s your favorite childhood memory?”
His head quickly turned to meet her gaze. Flustered, he responded, “What? Why would you want to know that?”
“Just trying to make some conversation, silly. We still have a while until we’re back at the good old Yagami residence.”
“Huh? Favorite childhood memory...” he repeated the question, bringing his hands finally out out of his pockets to run through his hair. “Let’s see...”
Even with his mind digging through his memories and thoughts overtaking his steps, she could see his shoulders loosened a bit and his hands were not ready go back home to his pockets just yet. She chuckled, “Take your time.”
When her eyes rested upon the boy’s face, they widened. A soft smile she had rarely seen before landed on his face. “I think my favorite childhood memory would have to be baking with my mom.”
His contagious smile found its way to her face. After admiring the unique sight for a moment, she said, “Now your turn, Koushiro. Ask me anything.”
“Okay...” He put a pondering hand under his chin. “What is something you’ve wanted to do for a while, but haven’t done it yet?”
Hikari copied his gesture and puffed out her cheeks in thought. “Hmm... Well, they’re many things. Write a poem. Bake a cake. Oh, I know! I’ve always wanted to see the sun rise above the ocean. All the pinks and purples and oranges mixing in the water below would be an amazing sight to see.”
Koushiro was a little shocked by her answer. “You mean to tell me you haven’t-,”
“Nope! Not yet. It’s on the tippy top of my list of things to do though.” She said, making a stacking gesture with her hand as she spoke.
“I would have thought that you have seen it at least once....” He was still stunned by her remark.
Hikari shook her head and exhaled a laugh. “Just haven’t had the time to, I guess.”
Their conversation was stopped abruptly as they reached a fork in the path. One lead straight back to the Yagami residence, the other had a couple detours but did just the same. Koushiro started taking the first path, but Hikari stopped in her place, looking at her hands in front of her. When he realized she wasn’t following, he turned around.
“Hey, Hikari, is everything okay?” Koushiro said with a concerned look on his face. “I know I’m going the right way, so it couldn’t be that…” he mumbled, thinking of any possibility as to why she’s not following him.
“Everything’s fine. It’s just…” she inhaled deeply.
Koushiro gave a puzzled look, “Don’t you have something tomorrow? Let’s get you home safely.”
“About that…”
“What?” He asked, walking back toward her.
She responded, looking at her feet. “I might have…kind of made that up.”
Koushiro stopped walking and took a second to process what she said. “Then why did you ask me to walk you home?”
“To be completely honest with you,” she slowly replied, still avoiding his gaze,but walking toward him. “You looked a little uncomfortable being there. Sooo, I thought I could help with that.”
Koushiro’s eyes instantly grew wide and blood rushed to his cheeks. “You didn’t have to do that, Hikari. Now you’re missing the party.” Because of me. “Let’s go back-,” He started to turn back around.
“No, no!” She shouted, grabbing his arm and looking straight into his dark eyes. He looked upset with himself, something she did not want to see at all. “It is perfectly alright, Koushiro! I know that you love your friends and are willing to do anything for them, even when it puts you out of your comfort zone, but everyone’s ‘social battery’ runs out eventually.”
The two stood there in silence, her delicate hand still resting on his stiff arm. Koushiro let out an embarrassed sigh and looked into her eyes. “Are you positive?”
She smiled back at him. “I promise. It is completely okay with me. You don’t have to fight battles by yourself.” He tried to smile back at the girl in front of him, but his eyes darted downward to the hand still resting on his forearm. Hikari’s eyes followed his gaze and she moved her arm back to her side. “Besides, I don’t mind talking to you. I like your company.”
Koushiro brought a hand to the back of his head and scratched. Letting out another uneasy breath, he gathered enough courage, stuttering, “Hey, um... Do you want to take the longer way home? Since you apparently don’t have anything in the morning...”
Hikari smiled. “The more scenic route? I would love to.”
Silence fell between the two of them, but neither of them wanted it to stay. Hikari knew she had to think of something quick before he retaliated back to his old overthinking habits.
“New question,” she started.
“Ready when you are.”
“What’s your biggest regret?” She asked, keeping her eyes locked on his face to see any kind of expression. Sure enough, he was surprised by her choice of question.
He scrunched his eyebrows and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. “You are really bringing up deep questions.”
Hikari waved her hands in front of her. “You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.”
“No, no! It is quite alright,” he replied as he placed his hands back in his pockets.
A moment of silence allowed the cicadas to echo in the night sky and dance with the sound of the pair’s footsteps on the concrete. Hikari hopped onto the wooden outline of the path and started walking the line like a balance beam. Koushiro was still lost in thought until realization hit him.
“I think my biggest regret as of right now would have to be not hanging out with the other digidestined as much as I should.” He looked at his feet and started counting his steps to himself. It’s a trick he did to help his mind from wandering off. He wanted to leave it at that, but something urged him to keep talking. “I want to get to know each of you more and make that effort, it’s just been… difficult for me.”
Hikari slowly nodded her head and jumped back down to his side. She lightly nudged him with her elbow. “Well, you’re doing great right now.”
“Because it’s you.” He said before his thoughts got the best of him. He felt his face get hot from his words and brought his hands to his cheeks. “I mean… you’re easy to talk to. You don’t judge me. You understand, if that makes sense.” He paused for a second to think his way out of this. “Did I really look that uncomfortable at the party?”
She giggled before saying, “Just a tad.”
He grumbled in defeat. “Why am I like this?”
“Is that your next question for me?”
“Pardon?”
She laughed again. “It’s your turn to ask me a question. Was that it?”
Koushiro looked at the girl next to him and slowly shook his head. He saw what she was doing and smirked. Thanks to her, it was time to change the subject.
“Okay, Hikari…. What is your biggest joy in life?”
“Oh, look at you with your deep questions now.” She giggled, causing a blush to form on Koushiro’s cheeks.
“I’m just making my observations.” He defended himself.
She looked up to the night sky and subconsciously started counting the stars. It didn’t take her long to count all of them since there was too much light pollution from the city. “I guess my biggest joy in life is… I don’t know, I can’t pick just one.”
Koushiro cocked his head to the side. “Well, what did you have in mind?”
“Well, there’s my family-my biggest support system. There’s being with my friends, like Takeru, you, Sora… but I also find joy in helping others,” she sighed and glanced over at him, who was already staring at her.
When they made eye contact, his eyes darted away and looked back at the ground. “You can have many joys in life. I don’t want to make you choose just one.”
When he said that, Hikari stopped walking and looked up again. “What time is it?”
He pulled out his hand out of his pocket and looked at his watch. “It is 4:17am to be exact.”
“Golly, time is flying by,” she responded.
Koushiro hummed in agreement and turned his head to the left. He saw a path winding around the corner and the light bulb went off in his head. “Let’s go this way,” he pointed the different direction. “There’s something I want to show you.”
A little startled by his change of mood and curious by what he meant by that, Hikari gave a slight nod. “Okay.” The birds in the trees started singing their early morning tune as the two walked. “My turn then…” she started. “Where is the one place where you feel most like yourself?”
“Uh…” For the first time in a long time, Koushiro’s mind went blank. He continued to look anywhere but at her. “I honestly don’t know.”
“Really?” She smiled softly at him, trying to figure out an answer for him.
He gathered enough courage to glance back at her and his face flushed. “Hey, quit smiling at me! I can’t focus when you look at me like that.”
“Like what?” She teased, smiling even wider.
“Like that!” He says, throwing his hands in the air and gesturing to her face like she was supposed to know what he meant. “I don’t know, Hikari… I guess when I’m not worried about what others think.” Like when I’m with you.
“Hmm,” she hummed in response.
Distant waves from the approaching shoreline echoed in the dimly lit sky. Koushiro’s hand slightly brushed Hikari’s, causing him to pull hiss hand immediately back. He fumbled and fidgeted
“Do you believe in true love?” He mustered before he realized, shoving his hands back in his pockets and keeping his eyes to the ground.
“What? Why would you want to know that?” She teased again, crossing her hands behind her back and leaning forward to look at his face. His flustered face always made her smile.
“It’s my turn to ask a question,” he objected. “To be completely honest with you, I’m not entirely sure. Just… curious.”
After some thought, she said, “Well, true love could mean many things and could be between any two people. Mom, dad, sisters, brothers, friends, digimon partners, couples. It’s about unconditionally caring about someone. Putting their well-being before your own. Taking time to make them smile or doing things for them without asking. Surprising them. Talking to them about anything. Helping them achieve their goals. Respecting and accepting each other. Being a team.”
As she went on and on about this topic, Koushiro couldn’t help but admire her enthusiasm. The way her face lit up when she thought of something else to tie in. The way she made huge gestures with her arms. The way her voice picked up speed. He just smiled as they continued to walk side by side, taking in the sight of the passionate girl beside him.
When Hikari realized what she was doing, she laughed. “I’m sorry, Koushiro. What was the question?”
Koushiro stopped walking and sat down on a bench next to the shoreline. “I asked if you believed in true love.”
Hikari breathed out and sat next to him. She closed her eyes and listened to the waves crashing against the rocky shore. “Well, what do you think?”
He chuckled and looked out at the shore. “Well, from your passionate monologue, I would assume yes,” he responded quietly.
“Yeah,” she exhaled. “Yeah, then I guess so,” she replied softly, looking out for a brief second and then turning her head to meet his gaze.
The two sat there for a while, not breaking away eye contact. Koushiro unknowingly held his breath until Hikari broke the silence.
“So, what did you want to show me?”
“Well, in about two minutes and 39 seconds, you’re going to find out.”
Hikari raised an eyebrow and looked out toward the sea. Her heart fluttered when she realized what he meant by that. Right on cue, the pinks and purples and oranges mixed together in the sky. The rays of lights sent a beautiful radiant glitter on the water below. The glow glistened in her eyes as she sat there in complete awe.
Instead of witnessing the glorious sun rise from the horizon, Koushiro had his sights set on the girl next to him. He was completely mesmerized by the way the sunlight kissed her face.
“Wow… it’s so beautiful,” she whispered.
Still looking at her, he smiled softly and replied, “Yeah… pretty prodigious.”
Hikari took a deep breath and placed her hand on top of Koushiro’s hand. He did not tense up from her touch. “Thank you,” she said, meeting his eye contact.
“It was my pleasure,” he replied, his heart beating a little too fast. He hoped the sound of the crashing waves covered that.
The two sat there next to each other in the morning sun. Words left unspoken about the night we’re about to make way to this moment, when all of a sudden, a buzzing sound came from Hikari’s phone and her eyes widened from the caller ID.
“Taichi, hi! No, yeah! I’m so sorry for not telling you where I am! Where am I? I’m still out with Koushiro. Yeah, we are taking the more scenic route back.” She stood up from the bench, indicating for Koushiro to stand up as well. “I’m sorry for worrying you. I’ll be home in a bit. Okay, bye.”
Koushiro cleared his throat. “Let’s get you home then.”
Hikari smiled at him, hoping to have more times like this. “Okay.”

The Deer Hunter!Robert De Niro x Reader
I’m so sorry this took so long. Hope you like pining!
TW: age gap, mention of illness, idk high word count?
Word Count: 8.8k
Tumblr media
"Why don't you let (Y/N) come with me? It would be a great opportunity for her to see what's it's like to film in some open locations instead of the sets here in New York. Plus she'll get to meet a great cast of actors, you know how hard we had to push to get John Cazale in the movie. She could learn so much from him." "I don't know, Robert. All the arrangements have been made for the crew's travel and lodging; I wouldn't want to make production any more difficult just so my daughter can watch you guys make a movie." "Ah, it shouldn't be a big deal. It's not too hard to buy an extra plane ticket, and she can just crash with me. Plus we could probably use the extra hands on set at some point." You can't help but feel completely giddy as you overhear Robert urging your father to let you go with him as he films his next movie. You're the daughter of a New York-based movie producer, who had gotten somewhat popular and had enough connections to know some really great actors and actresses. Your dad met Robert De Niro when he was acting in Brian De Palma's early films, and they had been planning on working together for a long time. However, Robert and your dad both stayed busy, and now Robert is a pretty big star since Taxi Driver released just last year. You got to know Robert when you were just a teenager. He would come over to your home for small get-togethers your dad liked to throw. You always liked being around him, so it was lucky for you that your dad and him became good friends. Robert is good about visiting when he has the chance to, but his visits have been less frequent lately as his career is really taking off. And that's what he was doing here today: a quick visit with you and your dad before he has to run off and make another film. The conversation turned, however, when you started discussing how you were becoming interested in working on films, particularly acting. Although most actors started younger than you, and being in your early twenties is already considered old for an actress, you decided it wasn't too late to start. Robert had a soft spot for learning and teaching acting, although his teaching came as little tidbits of advice. That's why you are shocked to hear Robert ask about you going with him for filming, while you're in the kitchen fixing everyone drinks. You walk in, carrying three glasses on a small tray and set them down on the table, then handing each of the men a glass. They both thank you as you take your seat across from them. "Sooo..." you raise your eyebrows and give your dad a hopeful smile. "Yes, (Y/N)?" "Can I go with Robert? I overheard what you two were saying." Your dad sits back and exhales a little loudly. He was trying to be stern but you could tell he was hiding a smile. He could never be an actor; he couldn't hide his real feelings very well. He turns to Robert asking, "Are you sure it's okay if she goes with you?" "Of course. I'll take good care of her," he says sweetly. You always thought he was very sweet. "Okay, sweetheart, you can go, not that I could stop you anyway, but I appreciate that you ask," your father says as a smile spreads across his face. "Dad!! Thank you so much!" He was right; you were an adult, but you had always lived with him, so you felt you needed to ask before going across the country. You jump up and give your dad a big hug. "You better start packing," Robert says with a chuckle, "we leave for Ohio tomorrow." "What kind of clothes should I bring?" you ask Robert. "What you would normally wear. Bring a few nice outfits for dinners. And we'll stop back in New York before going to Washington, because it'll be pretty cold and we'll all need warmer clothes." The smile on his face tells you he's excited about you going with him. You ask sit and talk a little longer, with Robert telling you and your dad about the general schedule about how you'll spend a several weeks in Ohio where most of the film takes place, a few days here and there in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, take a break for a few weeks, then go to Washington State for all of the hunting scenes. After that, a smaller portion of the cast and crew will go to Thailand to film the war scenes. This is also when you find out that the beard he is sporting is for the movie and not just some new fashion choice. You quite like the beard as well as his haircut, it suits him unexpectedly well. As it starts getting late, you make the move to go up to your room to pack. So you say goodnight to Robert and your dad, giving them both big hugs as a thank you for letting you go for filming, and you head upstairs to squeeze all of your clothes and toiletries into a suitcase. Downstairs, Robert stays to talk with your dad a little while longer before heading home. "Now, Robert, you said (Y/N) would be staying with you, right?" "Yes. Is that okay?" "Well..." your dad starts but he certainly doesn't want to offend Robert, "you won't, umm, do anything... with her, will you?" "Hmm? Oh. Oh! Um, no, I won't do anything like that with her. I hadn't even thought about it. I just uuhh- I just thought it would be better if she stayed with me instead sticking her in a random hotel room away from the rest of us... Most of the hotel rooms have two beds anyways." Robert tries desperately to get rid of the blush that came to his cheeks as he stumbles through what he's saying. He had never thought of you that way before, and it caught him off guard and kind of gave him butterflies in his stomach. "Yeah, you're probably right about her staying with you. She's probably safer with you than taking her chances somewhere else," your dad says with look of relief. "Yeah, well, I'm sorry I brought up the idea so last minute, but she'll be okay with me." "No, it's okay. It's a good opportunity for her. I think you guys will have a great time! Now, how do you think Michael is gonna film this thing?" Your dad and Robert discuss the production and direction of the movie for a short while before Robert really has to leave to go home and sleep. When you hear that he's about to leave, you quickly make your way down the stairs to tell him goodnight and thank him again for taking you with him. He pulls you into a gentle hug, placing one of his hands on the back of your head. "You're very welcome, (Y/N). Now, I'll be here at 7 in the morning to pick you up; I wanna take you to breakfast before we head to the airport. That'll also give us some time for someone to get on the phone and get you a plane ticket!" You had no doubt Robert would be able to get you on the plane. And with that, he left, and you went upstairs to pack the last few things you would need before trying to get some sleep, although that didn't come so easy due to the excitement you're feeling. • • • The next day goes just the way Robert said it would: he picks you up right at 7, loads your bags in the car, and takes you to breakfast at his favorite place. It's an upscale place but in a subdued way. You enjoy each other's company over biscuits, eggs, pancakes, coffee, bacon, whatever your heart desires as Robert put it. On the way to the airport, he admits that he got your plane ticket sorted out before he arrived for breakfast, and there was a seat in first class with the rest of the cast. Right next to him. But it's really no issue. He swears he didn't have to buy someone out of their seat. After checking your bags and boarding the plane, Robert introduces everyone to you: Christopher Walken, Meryl Streep, her husband John Cazale, George Dzundza, and John Savage, who everyone opted to call Savage. Meryl and John immediately took a liking to you, which you were honored. The flight was pretty packed, so the cast was all split up across first class, so everyone agreed that you should have dinner tonight to celebrate the beginning of filming. During takeoff you feel Robert put his hand on top of yours, and you quickly turn your head to face him. "You comfortable?" He asks softly. "Oh... Yeah, are you?" "Yep." You look down at his hand on yours. He strokes his thumb over your hand for a moment before pulling it away and looking out the window. You'd be lying if you said that didn't make you feel something. • • • The rest of your flight is uneventful, aside from a few people asking for autographs from the cast as you're leaving the airport. Outside, you are all met with a giant black van, and the director of the movie, Michael Cimino hops out to greet everyone and help put bags in the undercarriage. Everyone climbs inside the van, you sticking close to Robert, simply because you don't know anyone else yet. It's very comfortable and spacious inside, certainly the nicest van you'd ever seen. You and Robert end up all the way in the back, with everyone else doubling up on the seats in front of you. You've got a little bit of a drive to your hotel. Only a few minutes into your trip, everyone is chatting away, and you're finally getting to meet everyone properly, although you're getting to know Meryl and John the best because they're on the seat right in front of you. You instantly notice that John has a fantastic sense of humor; it's no wonder Meryl is so in love with him. Robert has his arm around your shoulders, but you can't tell if it's because he just wants to stretch out across the seat or if it's something else. Either way, he's only there like that for a few moments before he goes to the front of the van to talk to the director. "Guess I got stranded back here," you say with a chuckle to Meryl and John. "Oh, yeah, he's been so involved with Michael in getting this film made," Meryl throws over her shoulder to you. She turns on her seat to face you a little better, "Can I ask you a rather personal question?" "Oh, um, sure." You were certainly nervous to hear what she had to say. "Are you and Robert dating one another?" A breath of relief leaves you in the form of a small laugh, "Oh God, no! He's a friend of my dad's, so we've known each other a long time. He wanted to bring me along so I could learn more about filmmaking." "Oh, that's sweet of him. I apologize for assuming. I guess it's just, uh--oh nevermind," she gives a small smile and looks down at her lap. "No, it's okay! What is it?" "You two are just close, which I suppose that makes sense if you've been friends for so long! I just misinterpreted your relationship." A big smile stretches across her face as John chimes in. "Well if she didn't ask, I was going to, so it's probably good we cleared the air now, right?" "Right!" you respond. "Besides, I'm sure the other guys will all badger him about you, whether it's about him being a cradle robber or them trying to get with you." The three of you laugh, knowing that what John said is probably going to be true. "What are y'all laughing about back there?" Savage pipes up, breaking his attention away from the conversation going on between him, Chris, and George. "My receding hairline." John deadpans to the group in front of them. There's a long pause before everyone busts out in laughter, which then catches the attention of Michael and Robert at the front of the van. They both turn around to see what's going on, and Robert gives you a smile, scrunching his nose cutely. They decide not to get involved, and go back to their conversation. The rest of you talk in a big group the rest of the way to the hotel. • • • At the hotel, production rented out a whole floor for all of the cast and crew to stay on, with the cast kind of grouped near each other on one end. As for this first hotel you'll be at, and it is the main hotel you'll stay at while in Ohio, there are two beds in each room. A lot of the film crew picked partners and doubled up, but of course the director, executive producers, and main cast get their own rooms, with the exception of Meryl and John, and now Robert because he offered to have you with him. When you get in the hotel room, you drop your bags at the door and run to one of the beds, flopping on it and sinking into the comfort. Robert chuckles at you as you grab a pillow to cuddle up with. He drops your bags at the foot of the bed before asking, "I'm assuming you want this bed?" You look up at him lazily, "I don't really care. Do you have a preference?" "Not really; I'll take the other bed," he laughs at you again as he drops his bags near the other bed. "What are you laughing at?" You squint your eyes, questioning him playfully, still hugging your pillow. "You. And your pillow." "Mmmm... I think you're just jealous." "Jealous?! My bed has pillows too. See?" He picks up a pillow and hugs it just like you. "No no no. You're jealous of the pillow. You wish I was squeezing you like this!" "Oh you think so, huh?" He throws his pillow at you. You block it with your arms and it hits the ground. "I'm keeping that," you say sassily. "Fine with me," he says, too calmly. That's quickly broken when he charges towards you, ripping the pillow out of your arms as you burst into laughter. He picks you up around your waist, spins you around a few times and slams you both down on his bed, his arms still firmly around you. "Now I don't have to be jealous," he jokes. You wrap your arms around his head and neck, hugging him into your chest, just like you had done with the pillow. "No, you don't have to be jealous anymore." He gives you one final squeeze and then stands up. "We have a little while before we have to get ready for dinner. Any idea what you wanna do?" You groan a little, "Sleep." You smile up at him. "Well then you better get in your bed instead of hogging mine." "Excuse me! You put me here, so you'll have to move me back!" "Needy," he grumbles jokingly, picking you up and tossing you down on your bed. "You ever heard of letting someone down easy, Robert? Cuz you keep throwing me." He chuckles lowly, moving towards his luggage, "Go to sleep." You grab the extra pillow from the floor and get comfy. One pillow under your head, cuddled up to a second one, a third under one of your legs, and the duvet pulled up to your head. Pure bliss. "You look like a little princess with all those pillows," Robert's voice echoes across the hotel room. "Good. Then let me get me beauty sleep." While he's unpacking some of his clothes and stuff, he finds himself thinking about how you really don't need sleep to look any more beautiful than you already are. • • • That night at dinner, it didn't take long for John's predictions to come true. Just a few minutes after ordering food, Chris caught everyone's attention when he asked, "Bobby, you and this gorgeous young lady... What's going on with you two?" "Whaddaya mean, what's going on with us?" Robert repeats with a laugh. "Well, she's your girlfriend isn't she? I gotta say I'm a little jealous Bobby gets to bring his girlfriend, but I don't get to bring my lovely wife." "Chris, we're not dating. She's just a friend; I've known her dad for a long time." Savage butts in, practically yelling, "Of course she wouldn't date him! He's old enough to be her dad! Unless you're into that kinda stuff, baby." You turn to John and you both start laughing about how Savage managed, not only to joke about Robert being significantly older than you, but also use it to hit on you. "This again? What's so funny?!" John yells. "You had to be there," you cut back to Savage, trying not to smile, but failing. Robert cuts in, "Ya know, I just wanna say: I'm not old enough to be her dad." It kind of surprised you that he would even bother defending himself; it was clearly just a joke, but everyone laughed nonetheless. "You're only, like, 15 years older than her right?" George jokes. A little bit of a blush creeps up Robert's neck, and he bites his lip, "...yeah." This only makes everyone laugh more. Under the table, you place your hand on top of Robert's and you both give each other a small look while laughing. It's a short moment, broken by Michael walking up to the table. Everyone knew he would be late, but you still invited him anyway. Michael slides in next to Robert and asks, "What's so funny?" "Eh, you don't wanna know," Robert shoots back. You and John are trying very hard not to have another laughing fit. Luckily things are fairly calm while everyone is eating, but it doesn't last long after everyone is done. You catch John whispering in Meryl's ear before he turns to the table and says, "Alright, let Meryl and I slide out, my lady wants to dance." Pretty much everyone stands up to let them out of the booth, and Chris, noticing that Robert is once again deep in conversation with Michael, invites you to dance to "keep those other dogs off of you." George and Savage sneak off to find some nice Ohio locals to dance with. Robert and Michael slide back into the booth, chatting like they do. Meryl and John are being beyond cute dancing with one another and nuzzling noses. Chris is a real gentleman while dancing with you. He holds you close, and you maintain some casual conversation getting to know each other better. George finds sweet girl to try and romance, but Savage is having some trouble, so he simply steals you away from Chris, asking if he could dance with you instead. Chris thanks you for your time and returns to the table joining in the talk with Michael and Robert. Dancing with Savage is a little bit intense, as he lays it on thick hitting on you. At one point, he leans his head down and starts placing kisses on your cheek and even a few on your neck. This is when you catch Robert basically staring a hole in you. He stands up and makes his way over to you and Savage. Robert places a hand on Savage's shoulder, lowly speaking, "You mind if I borrow your dance partner?" "Mm... But we were having fun," Savage whines sarcastically, but gives in and leaves you with Robert. "What, you didn't like him kissing on me? I knew you were the jealous type," you snark at him. "Nooo. I told your dad I would take care of you, and a guy like him is no good for a girl your age." He wraps an arm around you, figuring that he should probably dance with you. "My knight in shining armor!" Another joke. "Oh shut up," he chuckles. • • • The next day, you all wake up bright and early to head to the tailors on location so that everyone can get their makeup done and costumes on. You had to admit Robert looked pretty funny in his flannel, puffy vest, and trucker cap. It was nothing like what he would normally wear. The first few scenes that are gonna be filmed during this first week are the first few scenes of the film, where all of the characters are seen at the steel mill and they prepare for the wedding and being drafted. The dynamic of the cast actually worked pretty well for these scenes. Everyone got along quite well, so it wasn't hard for them to act like they had been friends their whole lives. You noticed that filming goes a bit slower when it's shot on location like this, and it was made even slower by Michael Cimino. Michael was very particular about the way he wanted things, and there were lots of noises to work around as they filmed at an actual steel mill. You also spent more time in the makeup trailor than you had expected to; you found it fascinating how they made the men look like they weren't wearing any makeup at all. You and Meryl also spent a good amount of time together when she wasn't in a scene. She said that it was nice having another girl around on a predominantly male set. Of course, you weren't the only girl, but you were one of few. There isn't really a scene that Robert isn't in, so unfortunately, you don't see him much unless everyone is taking a break, or if you hang out with him while he's in makeup. But you make the most of it by getting to know everyone else. • • •
On nights after filming, the cast hangs out really often, normally in someone's hotel room, usually Meryl and John's. Sometimes you would go to a bar or a restaurant, as drinking and dancing became some of the groups' favorite activities. Hanging out in Meryl and John's hotel room usually includes wine, snacks, playing cards, and Robert's arm casually around your waist whenever you get near him. Savage still shoots his shot with you every once in a while, but if he isn't shut down by you, he will be shut down by Robert. He's just watching out for you like he promised your dad; really, it's flattering how protective he can be. • • • The second week of filming is dedicated to filming the wedding scenes. Everyone looks great in their tuxedos and dresses, and the church you'll be filming in is a beautiful Russian Orthodox Church here in Cleveland. "How do I look?" Robert asks you while he's getting his hair gelled and combed into place. "Very handsome. I really like you in that tuxedo." "Maybe he can borrow it when you two finally get married," Michael says coming into the makeup trailor. You and Robert both look at him a little shocked; Michael's never made jokes about you two before. "Oh, c'mon, I'm not allowed to make jokes too?" You both laugh a little awkwardly trying to cut any tension in the room. "I'm gonna go outside and help with all the extras," you say, swiftly leaving the makeup trailor. Outside, there are like a hundred people who showed up to be extras in the wedding scene, and you're sure Michael will probably use most of them. The people are all dressed up in their finest wedding attire, some of them getting a little makeup done or getting some items from costume to make the scene fit Michael's vision. They were told to bring empty presents as well, so that the table full of wedding presents would look realistic; however, many of them actually brought real presents for the cast and crew to keep. Filming the wedding scene was really chaotic to say the least. It felt like a party that went on for way too long, and most everyone was pretty exhausted by the end of filming with the extras that day. But you had to say, Meryl and Robert really stole the show. Their on-screen chemistry was astounding; you would've thought they were really in love or something! You loved watching the way Robert's character pined for Meryl's; his eyes always said so much. And of course, filming wouldn't have felt complete without John adding in his funny little quirks in various scenes, such as tapping his foot while waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle, and carrying Robert across the room for the group photo. Althought most of the filming with the extras had to be done in one day, the other scenes filmed that week included a couple of the bar scenes of the guys playing pool and drinking, and the scene where Robert streaks through town, which certainly had you blushing. Thank God you were filming at night. • • • Your last two weeks of filming in Ohio are spent filming anything that wasn't a hunting scene or a war scene. Production had to make a point of scheduling all of John's scenes early in the filming process, because it is no secret how sick he is. One night after filming, you all decide it would be fun to go out to one of the bars, as everyone had been pretty busy, and there hadn't been much time to. Everyone wants to go dancing again! You've had a hard time getting Robert to dance with you since your first night in Ohio. He really doesn't like to since he's so shy, even though he's very good at slow dances. That night, you dance with Chris again, and Meryl dances with Savage, while Robert hangs back at the table with John. John really isn't feeling well; it's one of his bad days, but he never lets it ruin the mood. Savage and Meryl makes their way over to you on the dance floor, and Savage asks, "Hey, can I cut in? I'd love to have a dance partner that pretty!" "Uh, sure, man," Chris answers. Savage practically shoves himself between you and Chris, quickly taking Chris by the hand and putting an arm around him before spinning him around. "Beautiful!" Savage yells, dipping Chris back, getting a round of laughs and even some applause from everyone around. You and Meryl take this as a chance to slip over to the bar, to get a break from your heels. You sit with your backs leaning up against the bar so you can keep an eye on all your friends. "Have you had fun filming with us all this time?" Meryl asks kindly, as she always does. "Oh yeah, it's been really great, and I've been learning so much about the filming process, and you're all wonderful actors to look up to!" "That's so sweet of you. The guys here have all done a wonderful job with their parts so far. Especially Robert. He's been in nearly every scene, and he's so involved with Michael and production. I don't know where he gets his energy!" "Yeah, he stays busy. I sleep in the same room as him and sometimes it seems like I don't even see him," you giggle. "Oh, but when he does get to be around you, it certainly seems you have his attention," Meryl points out, "I know you've said you two are just close, but I really think he likes you." "You think he likes me? Why do you think he likes me?" "Well, he's quite watchful of you, making sure you never get into trouble, especially around Savage. He always has an arm around you when we're hanging out at the hotel. And the way he looks at you. He looks at you... Well, he looks at you the way he looks at me when we're filming." You both look over at Robert and John. John smiles at Meryl and gives her a funny little wink. Robert turns to look when he realizes John isn't looking at him anymore, raising his eyebrows when he sees you and Meryl staring back at him. Him and John turn back to their conversation, shaking off whatever trouble you and Meryl are getting into. "You know the tension between you two is almost unbearable, right?" John says in a casual tone, knowing that this question is anything but casual. "I'm sorry, what?" Robert sputters. "You and (Y/N). It's so obvious to everyone that you have feelings for one another. Well, obvious to everyone but you and her, apparently." He gives Robert a side eye and raised eyebrows. "I mean... I care about (Y/N), but I- I don't have feelings for her. Her dad would kill me." "You don't have feelings for her, or you feel like you shouldn't have feelings for her?" There's a long silence between them. Robert looks up at John in a way that lets John know he's right. "Take it from me, Bobby. Life's too short." With that, Robert stands up, and walks over to you and Meryl, still at the bar. "Excuse me," he starts, always a gentleman, "Meryl, would you mind if I borrowed (Y/N) from you?" "Oh! No, go ahead," she says with a small laugh. "(Y/N)," there's a bit of a nervous tone in his voice, "would you like to dance with me? I know I've been avoiding it for weeks now." "I'd love to," you smile at him. He puts his hands on your hips, lifting you off of the tall bar stool and helping you to the ground. On the dancefloor, he pulls you into his chest with an arm around your waist and a hand tangled in the back of your hair. Your hands rest on his hips, and you slowly sway back and forth together, even when the song playing wasn't slow. It wasn't really proper slow dancing, but you weren't going to complain; you both enjoyed the closeness. That night at the hotel, you decide to watch a movie together before going to bed; you didn't have to be up super early for once. So you both hop into your pajamas, and Robert finds something on the TV and pats the spot on the bed next to him. "I have my own bed, you know?" you joke. "I know, but it's no fun watching a movie that far apart. Would you sit on a different couch if we were in a living room?" "I guess you have a point." You climb onto his bed, and he puts his arm around your shoulders, watching the movie which was already started, but it is close enough to the beginning. Part of the way through the movie, Robert's eyes linger down to your hand resting on your lap, although you don't notice this. In fact, you're quite sleepy. You feel his fingers gently grace over the back of your hand, and you react by turning your hand over for him. He softly traces little shapes into the palm of your hand, and he teases at your finger tips like he wants to lace his fingers with yours. You decide to bite the bullet and go for it. The next time his fingertips grace yours, you slide your fingers in between his, holding his hand. You're both way to nervous to look at each other, so you both just go back to watching the movie while he strokes his thumb over yours. • • • The next morning, you wake up surrounded by the Robert's scent, which is always very nice, but no Robert nearby. You quickly realize that you're still in his bed; you must have fallen asleep during the movie last night. You sit up looking around for your roommate, and you find him in your bed, looking up at you as if he was waiting for you to find him. The sun spilling in through the window and across his face accentuated his dimples and the smile lines around his eyes. He, too, looked like a sunbeam as he grinned up at you. "Good morning, sleepy head. You fell asleep during our movie, and I didn't have the heart to move you, so I figured we could just trade beds for the night," he says lightly laughing. It seemed like he was in a very good mood this morning. "Oh, well thank you for giving me your bed all to myself. It probably would've been way too hot if you stayed over here." "Mmm, I knew you thought I was hot," he has a smug look on his face. "No! I meant like body temperature. You're probably like a human heater when you sleep!" you argue with him. "Well, wouldn't you like to know?" he jokes, getting up out of bed to get ready to go to set. "I don't ever wanna know!" you yell as he closes the bathroom door. Just a little while later, as everyone is heading out of the hotel to get in the big black van and go to the filming location, John looks at you and asks, "So what is it that you don't wanna know?" "Huh?" you reply to John. "We heard you yell at Robert 'I don't ever wanna know!' through the walls a little while ago." You had no idea the walls were that thin, and you wonder what else they had heard. Robert butts in, "Oh, that was just (Y/N) trying to deny that she thinks I'm hot and wants to sleep with me," with a devilish look on his face. "ROBERT!" you yell, hitting him on the shoulder. "That is totally taken out of context, and you know it!" Everyone is roaring with laughter, while you blush a deep shade of pink. Robert puts all of the jokes to rest by telling everyone what really happened, but conveniently leaving out the part about you two holding hands for a while last night. • • • The next few days are pretty normal, although bittersweet, as it is the last few days of filming in Ohio. The cast spends a lot of time hanging out in Meryl and John's hotel room, and everyone goes out to the bar to celebrate on the last night on location. You go back to New York with Robert and most of the cast the day after filming wraps in Ohio. You would have a break for a few weeks before flying out to Washington for filming the hunting scenes. Everyone says their goodbyes at the airport, with John throwing in one final joke, "Invite us to the wedding if you two decide to elope before Washington!" You and Robert were used to it at that point; it was an every day thing that someone made a joke about you two getting together, but it really didn't bother either of you too much. Hell, even you made jokes about yourselves sometimes. Of course, Robert makes sure to take you home himself, or have his driver take you both to your house. You were so excited to see your dad again! You had called him several times while you were gone, but that doesn't mean you didn't miss him. You and your dad share a long embrace as he invites Robert in for a drink before he goes home. Robert kindly accepts coming in to relax for a while. Immediately, your dad notices how much closer you and Robert are, but he figures that spending a month together will probably do that to any two people. He's just glad you've made some important connections in the film industry. The two men listened intently as you spoke cheerfully of all of your experiences and the things you learned during the first leg of filming, Robert adding in some bits here or there. You both decided to leave out the jokes everyone made about you two getting together, assuming it would be an awkward conversation to have. Robert doesn't stay as long as he normally would've, because he has to be up early in the morning to go meet with other producers and directors. He stays so busy; you know you won't see him again until it's time to film. When he goes to leave, Robert pulls you up into a big hug telling you how fun it's been having you around, and that he can't wait to take you to Washington. • • • A couple of weeks go by, and everything is as it was at home with your dad. Except now you miss Robert a lot of the time, because you had been so close. You missed all of the cast; you had all become such good friends. Either way, you tried to keep busy by going to work with your dad a lot and looking into new roles to audition for, although you found yourself more interested in other aspects of film production since going to Ohio. One night, your dad calls you downstairs, because there's a call for you on the home phone. Your dad tells you that it's Robert, and he's asking to talk to you. You weren't expecting to hear from him at all, so you can't help but worry that something is wrong, especially with John being sick. "Hello?" you say into the phone. "Hey, there," Robert's tone is unreadable. "You rang?" "Yeah, I did. Um... I know this is last minute, but I wanted to know if you would come over for dinner tomorrow? My schedule opened up tomorrow night, and I gotta admit I miss you more than I thought I would." "Oh..." you silently thank God your dad had walked off, "just you and me?" "Yeah, I was thinking I could order room service for dinner, and we could watch a movie like we did at the hotel. Plus I think everyone else is probably busy, unless you want me to invite your other boyfriend," he giggles. He was referring to Savage and how he relentlessly tried to hit on you. "Oh, no. I don't think I could deal with both of you," you reply with a laugh. "That's what I thought. So, I'll see you tomorrow at seven?" "Yep. See you then!" The next night arrives quickly, and now the dilemma you're facing is that you have no idea what to where. Is this casual? Does he want you to dress up? You aren't sure, and it's too late to call him; he's probably almost here. You decide to go casual, but not sweatpants casual. Why would Robert want you to dress up to go to his apartment? Seems like Robert went for the same kind of attire, you see when he shows up. You throw a quick goodbye and a kiss on the cheek to your dad before Robert leads you out to the car with a hand on the small of your back. It's not too long of a car ride to his place, because you both live in the city; however, somewhere in the middle of the trip, Robert abruptly asks his driver to stop at a bakery up ahead. You give the man next to you a confused look, and he smiles saying, "Look, I have to start doing some pretty intense training for another movie, so this might be one of the last times I get to eat cake for a while! I was thinking we could pick something up to have after dinner." There's a brief pause between you two, then Robert quickly adds on, "You can pick out whatever you want! I'll buy it!" You can't help but laugh at his excitement, and you take his hand as he basically rips you out of the car and into the bakery. The smell in the air was incredible; it makes you want to buy everything in the shop. So you and Robert go crazy picking out anything and everything that looks good, all the while giggling like school girls with one another! You arrive at Robert's apartment with bags of desserts in tow, and almost immediately, you're placing an order with room service for dinner. Stopping by the bakery had made you both very hungry. The desserts were left in the kitchen as the two of you make your way to the couch, in an effort to avoid eating all the sweets that smelled so heavenly. Robert quickly found something on the TV, although he didn't turn it up very loud; you both knew you'd be talking anyway. He leans back into the couch, putting an arm comfortably around you. At this point, it wasn't a big deal for you two to be hanging all over one another. "I didn't think I would miss you this much," Robert blurts out, "uhh, I mean, we just spent so much time together, more than I would normally spend with anyone from set." "Yeah? You miss spending the night with me?" you joke. Robert rolls his eyes. You continue, "Miss waking up to my beautiful face every day? Or waiting for me to get out the shower?" "Oh, stop! You know it wasn't like that," Robert said with a grin, but his face quickly drops into a serious look. He reaches up and gently pushes your hair behind your ear. His eyes looked over your whole face, appreciating all of your features, before locking eyes with you. He tangles his fingers in your hair at the nape of your neck and pulls you close, placing his forehead against yours. You weren't completely sure what he was doing, but you weren't mad about it. Almost instinctively, you close your eyes and begin nuzzling your nose against his. At first just bumping the end of your nose against his, and then you feel his nose next to yours as he moves closer to you. Everything feels like it's happening in slow motion. His hand still firmly grasping your hair, a tiny giggle leaves your lips for whatever reason. You feel the hair from his beard tickle your chin, and the butterflies in your stomach go crazy as you realize he's about to kiss you. His bottom lip barely graces yours, and the doorbell rings. Room service with the dinner you ordered. Your eyes fly open, seeing Robert pull back from you and take a deep breath, washing the intense expression off of his face. "I'm sorry," he says standing up and straightening out his shirt, "I don't know what I was thinking." Before you could say anything, he was opening the door, and dinner was brought in by one of the apartment staff. You took a moment to get it together and put whatever just happened behind you. You assume Robert decided to do the same, because the rest of the evening goes by relatively normal. You both enjoy dinner and of course all the desserts you picked up earlier! Not without lots of laughs anyway, as Robert keep poking fun at you for how you lit up like a child at the bakery. "Oh, like you didn't pick out just as many, if not MORE things than me!" You shout at him, which earns you a laugh from the man next to you. "In fact, it was YOUR idea to go in, Mr. I-have-to-get-in-shape-for-a-new-movie!" He cuts his eyes at you as if to say something, but instead shoves a pastry in your mouth, smearing icing across your lips and chin. You both double over in a fit of laughter, reaching for napkins to clean your face with. Thank goodness that was the highlight of the evening, so you had something other than "oh yeah, Robert almost kissed me" to tell your dad when you got home. • • •
As you would've guessed, you didn't see Robert again until you were headed to Washington. You sit with him on the plane again, but this time, a lot of the cast had different flights, traveling in from other parts of the world. The flight takes most of your day, as it's definitely the evening by the time you are picked up at the airport. Up in the mountains, it is freezing, first of all. Luckily you're from New York, and Washington isn't much further North, so you know how to handle the cold. Second, they have the whole cast and crew staying in cabins that are scattered along the mountain side. It is already pretty dark, but from what you could see, it's beautiful up on the mountain range. You don't have much to do that night, and all of the cast is arriving at different times, and production setup is running behind (the norm with Michael Cimino), so the cast all agrees to have lunch together the next day before shooting kicks off this week. Robert takes you into the visitor's center that presides over the cabins to pick up keys, and the staff even gives you some warm bowls of soup to take up to the cabin with you. Up in the cabin, you quickly cut the heater on, shivering while you wait on the room to warm up a bit. Robert sets down his bags and the soup, and walks up behind you, putting his hands on your arms and rubbing them vigorously. It warms you up pretty well, especially when he puts his warm hands on your neck. "Mm, thank you," you let out in a moan. "It's no problem, honey," Robert says lowly, almost in a whisper. "You okay?" you ask him. "Mhmm... Just sleepy and thinking about that soup," he says wrapping his arms around you and nuzzling into your neck, "Feel any warmer?" "Well, I stopped shaking," you sink back into him, and place your cold hands on his warm ones. He moves to put your hands under his, stroking the back of your hands with his thumbs. You stay like that for a few minutes before you break the silence, "You wanna eat that soup? Seemed like you were hungry." "Hmm, yeah." He pulls away from you, rubbing your arms a little like he did before, and walks into the little kitchen to get his soup. The room is a few degrees warmer, but this cabin must have horrible insulation or something, because it's still freezing even with the heater on. By the time you head over to the kitchen, Robert is bringing your soup over to the table. You both quickly dig in; Robert because he was hungry, and you because you're so cold. The soup warmed you up pretty well. The rest of the evening, there wasn't too much to do. Robert watched some TV, you went through your clothes making sure you had enough warm stuff before changing into pajamas and climbing into bed. You figured you should go ahead and try to warm your bed up sooner rather than later. A while later, you're still sitting in bed shivering a bit; Robert stands up and chuckles at you before heading out of the room to change clothes. He comes back in sweatpants and a t-shirt and climbs into his bed. "How are you wearing that to bed?" you ask him bewildered. "Um, just like this," he pulls the blankets up over his shoulders. "It's literally freezing in here. You're not cold?" "Nope, are you?" he has that devilish look on his face, knowing the answer to that question. You shoot him a deadpan look and turn over, ignoring him and trying to get warm. "Goodnight, then," Robert laughs. "Goodnight." You both lie there in silence for a while. Robert watches you tossing and turning, bunching the covers up on top of yourself, and still shivering the whole time. "(Y/N)." "What?" You turn to look at him under your huge pile of blankets. "Come here." "What do you mean, come here?" "Come get in bed with me," he says sternly. "Ooooh, no! You're not gonna get to joke about me sleeping with you all week." "(Y/N), you're freezing, and you're not gonna get any sleep like that. Just... Let me keep you warm." The look on his face was one of concern and sincerity. "You won't make fun of me?" you ask sheepishly. "I won't make fun of you." There was a small pause. "You promise?" "Oh my gosh, yes! I promise," he says with a big smile and an eye roll, "Will you get your ass over here already?" You stand up, and he holds the blankets up for you. You sit down and scoot in close to him. Robert drops the blankets on you, before grabbing you and pulling you into his chest. You make a move to protest, until you realize how warm he is. You resign to stay cuddled up to him and tangle your legs with his. You start to drift off to sleep feeling his breath gently on your forehead and his fingers tracing shapes in your back. "I knew it. You are like a human heater," you joke quietly. Without opening his eyes, Robert groans then whispers, "I knew you thought I was hot." • • • The next morning, you both wake up to the sound of the alarm clock. Robert quickly rolls you onto your back and reaches across you to turn off the alarm. You look up at him as he lingers above you for a moment. He gives you a sweet smile before leaning in and pressing his lips to yours. It catches you completely off guard, and it's over before you even realize what he has done. He looks into your eyes, and you place a hand on his cheek. It was like a dam broke. You both smash your lips into one another's kissing passionately, hands exploring each other. Robert catches your hand in his, lacing his fingers with yours and pushing your hand up above your head on the pillow. His other hand finds your hair as he continues to move his lips against yours. Your free hand roams his back, while your feet gently rub against his legs underneath the sheets. He pulls away from you slightly, breaking your kiss, both of you breathing heavily. He flashes a toothy smile at you, knowing he looks good, and breathes out, "Good morning!" You giggle and tell him, "Good morning," too. "Hmmm," Robert hums, nuzzling into the crook of your neck leaving little kisses there, "it *is* a good morning..." "I guess everyone was right about us, huh?" you point out. "Oh, who cares what they think?" "I think you do, cradle robber." You both try to look at each other seriously, but that always ends in laughter. Luckily it was a slow morning so you could spend some time together, kissing and figuring out whether or not you wanted to tell everyone at lunch. Just before time to leave, Michael came by to check on both of you and tell you that the van was ready. "Alright, we'll be out in a few minutes," Robert told Michael. "See you at the van!" Michael called out as he closed the door to your cabin. Robert turned to you and snuck his hands up the sides of your jacket, just enough for his fingertips to make contact with your skin. You placed one hand on the back of his neck and the other in his hair, while he leaned into you for one last little makeout session before heading out. You felt your back hit the wall lightly, as the door bursts open and John yells, "What's up, lovebirds--OH!" You and Robert turn to see Meryl and John at the front of your cabin giggling, the rest of the group rushing up to see why John shouted so loudly. You quickly push Robert off of you and blush a deep shade of red. Everyone starts laughing, and John looks at the two of you with a huge grin on his face, and says, "Oooh, you two are never gonna hear the end of this."

Won and requested by @pumpkiethepie
Disclaimer: I do not own Twisted Wonderland nya. I only own the plot of this one shot nya.
P.S. I would like to apologise for Malleus being OOC and my grammatical mistakes nya. Enjoy nya!
“Let’s end this, Malleus,” You said as you pulled away from his hug, turning your back.
“What are your trying to say, [First Name]?” Malleus asked, worried about your strange behaviour.
You turn your head to look at him. In a sad tone,, you responded, “Sorry but I want to break up with you.” And with that, you left him standing as you hurried back to your dorm.
Malleus just looked at your figure, dumbfounded about what happened. Was he not a good boyfriend? Did he do something wrong?
I know what you guys are thinking: why the heck would we break up with this gorgeous man? Let’s take a look back from the flashback.
-Flashback Start-
Upon becoming Malleus’s girlfriend, things began to be more difficult for you.
You’ve receive animosity from most of your schoolmates. I mean why wouldn’t they. You’re powerless. You don’t have magic flowing through your veins yet you’re a student here. Even more so that you are the girlfriend of THE Malleus Draconia who’s known for being one of the most, if not the most powerful student here in Night Raven College.
You’ve got tripped by them often and gave you insults on a daily basis. At first, you ignored but as time passed by you’ve began to feel more insecure about yourself and started to question yourself: What did Malleus see in you? Why did he choose who’s weak and powerless.
“You seem down. Is something wrong?” Deuce asked, snapping you out of your thoughts.
You just smiled and answered, “There’s nothing wrong.”
“Let’s go and find a table, [First Name]! I’m hungry!” Grim said impatiently.
While trying to find a table, someone’s foot got in your way, making you trip and spill both of yours and Grim’s food.
“Wah! My lunch!” Grim cried.
“Oi! What’s the big idea?!” Ace asked angrily.
“Are you alright, [First Name]?” Deuce asked, helping you up.
You just smiled and said, “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m used to it by now.”
“See? She’s fine despite being weak and powerless,” One student said while laughing.
“What did you say?” Deuce got into his bad boy mode, cracking his fists.
“Deuce, please stop!” You said holding him back, “It’s not worth it!”
Deuce simply clicked his tongue, “Fine.”
________________________________
You were walking along the halls with Grim on your shoulder when you hear two students talking.
“This has got to be a fluke,” A student said.
“It is possible if you look at it. But that’s only because she’s Malleus’s girlfriend. He probably help her or something. She’s not that smart after all.
________________________________
Insults after insults after insults…
Tricks after tricks after tricks…
You are getting pretty tired hearing it but the more you hear it, the more you’re getting insecure.
You sighed deeply.
“Is something bothering you, my love?” You turned around to see Malleus looking worried, “Please do tell me if you’re having trouble. I can’t read people after all.”
You answered, “Oh I’m fine, Malleus. You don’t have to worry about me.” You don’t want him to worry after all. This is your problem. As much as possible, you want it to resolve it by yourself.
“Is that so? I thought there was something troubling you since you look so down and you don’t have your smile,” Malleus said, looking at you curiously.
You started to get nervous, ‘Does he really know?’
“But I know how to make you smile. But first I would like you to close your eyes,” Malleus said.
You did as you were told and closed your eyes. You’ve waited what he has in store for you.
“You can open  them now,” Malleus said.
You’ve opened your eyes to see green sparkles that resembles fireflies. It was a breathtaking moment as it complimented the both of you.
“I used my magic. Do you like it?” Malleus asked, holding a red rose.
“I love it!” You said as you hugged him.
“I’m glad,” Malleus said as he kissed the top of your head.
Malleus was amazing. He’s a perfect. He’s handsome, smart, kind and powerful.
Your smile disappeared without him noticing, ‘He really is amazing. Unlike him, I’m just a plain old nobody. He deserves someone better. Someone who’s more amazing than me.’
You can’t really take your insecurities anymore. Thus, you’ve decided to break up with him.
-Flashback End-
It’s been a couple of weeks or so since the break up. You cried on the night that you’ve broken up with him. It was so bad that Grim even gave you some stash of his canned tuna. You don’t know if this was a good thing or this was a bad thing because the bullying got worse.
“She thinks she’s too beautiful for THE Malleus Draconia. She’s crazy!”
“Who would dump the most powerful student here in Night Raven College?!”
“She’s an idiot for doing so.”
“Man, they’re dissing you, [First Name],” Grim said.
“It sure must be tough being in a relationship with the dorm leader of Diasomnia,” Ace added.
“But it must be tougher dumping him though,” Deuce said.
“Yeah,” You said as the three (four if you’re counting Grim on your shoulder but technically he’s on your shoulder) of you walking.
As the four of you chatted regarding academics and stuff, the two stopped walking.
“What’s wro-”
You stopped mid sentence to see that Malleus was a few feet away from you. Tears started to swell from your eyes. You were not ready to face him yet.
Not saying goodbye to your two companions and before Malleus can say anything, you just ran away, not wanting to deal with this
________________________________
That night, you can’t sleep. You quietly got off of your bed, carefully not waking Grim up and went outside of your dorm to stroll around and get some fresh air.
You sighed deeply once more, thinking about Malleus.
‘If only I have magic’ You thought as you continued to stroll.
“[First Name].”
You stopped on your tracks and turned around to see Malleus standing in front of you with a sad expression painted on his face.
You wanted to run away and go back to the Ramshackle dorm but before you could even do so, Malleus have already grabbed your wrist.
“Why?” Malleus said, trying not to cry, “Why did you break up with me?! Did I do something wrong. Have I done something terrible to you? Why? I need to know why!”
Tears swelled up in your eyes, seeing Malleus this hurt...he was that affected after you’ve dumped him.
“Whatever I have done, I’m sorry! I still love you! Please come back to me!” Malleus said, hugging you.
Tears bursted from your eyes as you cried in his arms, “This is not your fault! It’s mine! Why do you still love me after hurting you?! What have I done to deserve to have you? You’re a powerful mage. To top it all of, you’re kind and charming. I’m just a plain old human with no magic. I’m not smart and powerful. I’m just...a nobody.”
Malleus pulled away from the hug and looked at you straight into your eyes, “You’re not a nobody. You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. You’re sweet, kind and caring. You’ve accepted me for who I am. You may not have magic but you’re strong in your own way. I love you just the way you are.”
“Oh Malleus,” You said as he wiped your tears off of your face.
He started to lean in closer and gave you a sweet kiss on your lips.
With that, my friends, you two ended up back together with your bond stronger than ever
BONUS SCENE:
“We would like to apologise to you for all the terrible things we’ve said and done to you, [First Name]!” The students who bullied you said as they bow down to you.
“It’s quite alright...really,” You said, shaking your hands.
Behind a pillar, Malleus smiled as he watched you being surprised from all the apologies you have received.
And how did he know that you’ve been bullied? I’ll leave it up to your imagination~
And done nya! How was it nya? Hopefully you guys enjoyed it nya. I hope this is to your liking @pumpkiethepie nya! Anyways, I’ll open the raffle maybe a bit earlier than the schedule nya. Be prepared nya! That’s all, Nyakemi out nya!

Hia New :D I hope you are well. Next week is going to be my first time being on set as a background performer. I was wondering if you had any tips or general "New knowledge" for a first timer (Sorry for asking on Anon. I haven't told many people yet :P)
Hi! Omg congrats. So happy for you. I’m hanging in there with 2 annoying flare ups but doing well otherwise!
Some things off the top of my head:
STAY HYDRATED. Pack those little additive packs if you can, like coco water or something else you find tolerable. I usually bring my own big fat water bottle to refill throughout the day.
SUNSCREEN IF OUTDOOR SHOOT
Take a banana from crafty. Put it in your bag for later in the shoot when you need a boost. Hom nom nom
Bring something to do during down time in holding. I would often bring a book to read or a notebook to scribble in (especially helpful if I had a depressive mood swing, to be able to write it all down with a time stamp for later tracking). I usually bring my iPad to zone out to music on or rewatch Transformers or J-pop music videos. Things that boost my mood. But if you’re worried the set might not be safe for personal electronics (unfortunately theft does happen :( ) then leave it at home
Make sure you take time to get up and stretch often. Take deep breaths.
Pace yourself with crafty snacks because it’s easy to get so bored that all you wanna do is eat
There’s usually a medic but I like to pack my own painkillers, herbal muscle relaxants, ginger tea packs, peppermints etc, just in case I feel icky
I recommend packing floss picks, a toothbrush, etc, to freshen up after lunch/snacking. Also, extra deodorant is important for very long and sweaty days.
If your other BG actors didn’t take care of their hygiene, my trick is to put a little bit of diluted essential oil in my nose. I’m super sensitive to icky smells and long days on set can equal BO and bad breath from other people, oopsies. SUPER difficult when we have to be close together.
If you can, pack a little grooming kit. I always have tweezers, nail clippers, and a nail file. Never know when a random chin hair or nail breakage will happen. Also of course, a small makeup bag for touch ups.
If they don’t tell you anything specific for makeup, assume a natural look (do the thing where it doesn’t look like you’re wearing makeup)
Be careful about nail polish. You might get away with it for specific looks but a lot of the time the makeup dept will get pissy and make you clean it off
Don’t be afraid to sneak a little personal style into the 3 looks you bring to set. If they don’t pick it, no biggy, but if they like what you bring, then you might get lucky and get a featured shot! Or at least asspats from the crew for looking cool xD
Talk to the AD like you’re old buddies and try to make their day less chaotic if possible. Don’t be afraid to ask for clarification or make tiny suggestions if you feel it will help (ex. “When Lizzie gets to that tree, do you want me to already be heading toward Tony?” or (”Do you want us wiping camera or passing behind it?”) They have so much on their mind and it’s hard to always keep track of what they’ve set up for BG action, so being on top of your marks and timing and asking these little questions can make them sooo happy and you just might get a union voucher for the day (if you’re not already union).
When pantomiming, just mouth a whole story to your scene partner. It’ll look great and real in the bg. Depending on the scene I would tell my partner about how great cheese ramen is, or I’d gossip about some rando I made up.
Don’t be afraid to stand your ground or speak up. Situations will vary but Ex. if you’re doing one kind of BG but then the AD tries to put you in an almost nude scene or something you didn’t previously agree to/are uncomfortable with, ask if there’s a pay bump. If not, or if you’re just not cool with it, say that you have not cleared this with your agent, and since this was randomly asked of you, you’re not consenting to it. If they get nasty with you, speak to either your agent, your booking service, or find a contact within the production company to speak about it with. Emphasize that you were made uncomfortable on a professional set. (Remember when Westworld got in big trouble for having bg actors do fully nude simulated sex scenes and battle scenes with REAL WEAPONS? Yeah, my friends worked that show and it was bad. Report that shit when you see it)
^This also goes for if you have issues with other background actors or crew members. I’ve had to report gross guys and it sucks but they can’t be working on sets doing that to people so, merp. I’ve also reported another actor for going on a transphobic rant in front of everyone. Nope, not on set you don’t!
Be careful about the big stars. I’ve been lucky enough to work on sets with really big ones who were chill but some sets are super strict and you can get in trouble for talking to a star. My friend worked on a Nicki Minaj video where all the BG were told “if you look her in the eye, we send you home.” And then she watched as it happened to an 8 year old actress on the set. It’s a bit much, but... yeah
Make a designated box or folder for your vouchers. When you get paid, staple your paystub to the voucher. Makes it easier to keep track of which jobs you got paid for and makes taxes easier later too!
Paycheck seems late? Look on your voucher for a payroll number and give them a call. Communicate with other bg actors on that shoot if possible too.
IN THE ERA OF COVID PRODUCTIONS PLEASE REPORT VIOLATIONS! SAFETY FIRST
HAVE FUN YOU’RE ON TV BITCH
