Escape to Amphibia: Anne and the Plantars prepare to return to Amphibia, qnd in the process Anne and Darcy duke it out (Darcy unfortunately gets away). The rest of the episode is essentially just a more abridged version of ETA

Commander Anne/Sasha’s Angels:

Commander Anne: Anne is conflicted: she’s very happy Sasha’s alive and has been able to manage, but remains very suspicious. They both also express far more concern over Marcy.

Sasha’s Angels: Their argument gets more focus, and throughout the episode, Darcy (With a slightly weakened connection due to the fight. Here there’s no wire BS) lurks, planning their next move. Anne and Sasha have the conversation they had in the actual episode, but then a drone with a large trap swoops in and grabs the 2 girls. Mrs. Croaker, Maddie, Toadie, and Loggle try to save them but to no avail. 

The drone lands at Andrias’s throne room, and Darcy comes out.

(in case you didn't know, i actually made a video on this exact scenario on my youtube channel :D i haven't uploaded in a bit but i SWEAR im still doing stuff T-T)

Michael: Well, that's actually a bit of a funny story.. it was in 6th.. no, it was 7th grade, so we were about 12 I think. I tried skipping lunch because I thought the school rules were dogshit and I was some kind of pre-bad boy even before I hit highschool. But the hall monitor told me to get the fuck back in there or she'd give me detention- which was bullshit, but whatever.

So I go back into the cafeteria and there's only one table open. I'm thinking, oh fucking great, there's Assholes 1, 2, and 3, I'm gonna be stuck here for the next half-hour. I gotta tell you though, they were the cutest kids. I had a distinctly British, swagless demeanor at the time so I looked constantly dead inside- more than I ended up actually being later. But I digress, I should continue the story. So I'm being mopey and emo about it because I'm 12 and that's the most important thing I have to deal with.

I look away for one moment and these motherfuckers have me surrounded. They've been trying to force me to be their friend for a bit now, and they're about to annoy me into accepting their friendship. Eventually I decide that I'm fighting a losing battle and accept their offer of friendship, thinking that I'll just be their friend for one lunch period and that'll be that.

Yeah.. we ended up being friends for the rest of our lives. And then after, too. Granted, there was like forty years between them dying and then coming back but like, I think it still counts.

My opinion of them? God, you'll be lucky if this response doesn't take up your entire screen. Sorry but- well, I'm not really sorry, because 1, I like talking about my friends, and 2, you actually asked for this. Congratulations, you're getting exactly what you asked for! Yay!

Let's start with James. Now look, okay, I can admit this is going to be ridiculously sappy, so why don't we just pretend that I'm actually saying something deep, and.. and enlightening, or something. Just between us. Okay. Honestly, James is literally just the best. He's always been there for me even when I haven't asked, just- God, I love him so much. There's so much I want to talk about but this would actually be enormous- I don't think either of us really thought this through. Whatever. He's amazing, and funny, and pretty, and I'm very in love with him, 10/10 friend and boyfriend, would recommend. Except I wouldn't, because he's not up for grabs.

Moving on to Matthew.. where do I even start? Let's just get one thing out of the way, he's so cool. Like, if Jeremy is cool in a cool way, Matthew is cool in a loser way. He's just.. a guy. In my house! Sometimes I'll wake up and be sad like usual and then I see Matthew and I'm like "Oh!! A guy!! A funky dude!!" and then everything's good again. Very huggable, my best loser, 10/10 friend, love him very much. I would throw myself into a volcano for him.

And finally, Taylor. God, they're gorgeous. Obviously that's not all, but. Fuck. Taylor is literally the only one of us who has any sort of fashion sense at all, it's insane. Taylor's also smart as fuck, even if they don't think so. They're so insecure about themself I just kinda wanna squeeze them and shake them around a bit until they finally get it inside their head that they're so perfect. Taylor is absolutely the most perfect human on planet Earth and they live with me! I've never been luckier in my life! So incredibly cool in the least straight way possible, I love them more than life itself, 10/10 human ever.

There's your answer. This got a bit out of my control, but in my defense this is what you asked for. I could've gone into so much detail your head would've exploded, but I didn't. And thank god you didn't ask about Jeremy, or Evan, or Elizabeth, or literally anybody else because I have so much to say about them this response would've been so fucking long.

Wash and Carolina being best friends is better than both the ship and the sibling headcanon btw. They're besties. Just really great friends who can't live without each other. They're platonic soul mates, always destined to meet in every universe, sometimes the relationship changes but they'll always be friends. alya is rena rouge—aka, the first ever miraculous holder that marinette picked. chat noir is her partner and nothing can take away from that! but when the time came for marinette to pick her own ally, alya was the first person she turned to

alya has proven her loyalty and trustworthiness to marinette again and again!!!!! SHE'S A GENUINELY GOOD FRIEND OK. how many times has alya ended up babysitting on marinette's behalf when she had to bail??? how many times has she helped her come up with plans to confess to adrien??? (and no she is not "forcing" them together—marinette asks for her help with it all the time.) how many times has she comforted marinette and been there for her and stood up for her??? (if you're still salty about chameleon ack i dont have room on this post but send me an ask and i'll fite u aslkfjdsjkf)

in this very episode alya just proved what an INCREDIBLY POWERFUL AND TRUSTWORTHY ally she really is because she was the first person ever to reject akumatization AFTER THE FACT...THROUGH SHEER WILLPOWER AND THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP LIKE OMG. ladybug said "im ur friend and i need you" and alya said BOOOM IN UR FACE PEAMOTH!!!!! i love my friend ladybug and my friend marinette so much that i will break through barriers no one ever has before!!!! my loyalty and power are endless!!!!!!" gAH im crying she's amazing what

and now??????? marinette will finally have a friend she can rely on as both a civilian AND a superhero!!! alya can cover for her, help her protect the secret, help her figure out the guardian stuff, whatever! marinette said "it's too complicated to be marinette so i have to be ladybug all the time" but now she can finally find a balance because she has one person she doesn't have to lie to—not just any person but her best friend in the world, who will go to any length to support and protect her friend. just. im so emo about this it's perfect ok

and tbh it kind of makes more sense for alya to know at this point than for chat to know? bc hawkmoth would assume that chat noir knows than he would assume that rena rouge knows. and chat is in action more often and is in more danger of being captured and compelled to tell ladybug's secret. alya can now be an ally who supports behind the scenes and comes in when needed as rena rouge but does not have the same target on her back as CN does

alright guys so last night i rewatched pretty much all of the pogtopia arc. and this isn’t meant to be a big, important analysis post (it’s kind of incomprehensible), because my brain is fried from, you know. rewatching pretty much all of pogtopia. but i do have some stuff i’d like to say.

(this also just became a niki meta sorry i love her. i really just got emo about her during the second half of this and it got long. i have a lot of feelings about her and wilbur’s friendship.)

it’s a pretty general conclusion that wilbur’s real “downfall” began on october 8th, during the stream “who are you go away”. of course, his spiral and the process of him losing faith had begun much earlier, more around the end of the first war or during the election. but the big switch, so to say, was definitely here, when as wilbur walks back from schlatt’s announcement, he asks tommy if they’re the bad guys.

this entire scene was so interesting to me. wilbur here is a man who has lost hope, someone who is backed into a corner morally and has nothing left. he points out that they can never really reclaim l’manburg without forever tainting it, and that schlatt knows this. the entire half an hour or so before, schlatt has been taunting wilbur about losing that power. the emphasis of the festival on “democracy” is so clearly a barb thrown at wilbur, and it works.

wilbur’s “nothing left to lose” in this vod is a mirror to niki’s “you know what they say about a woman who has nothing left to lose”. this will not be the first time they mirror each other.

basically, wilbur’s angry. when schlatt announced the festival, wilbur realized that maybe it wasn’t a terrible thing. so once he worked around into the mindset of “we’re the bad guys”, he was able to justify saying he was going to blow up the nation with no remorse. he wants chaos! he wants no survivors!

does he do it? god no.

during the streams leading up to november 16th, wilbur is consistently scared. he goes back and forth on it, and makes multiple “conditions” that determine whether he’s going to do it or not, almost begging someone to stop him. he whispers to himself that he’s scared, that his hands are shaking, that he’s not sure if it’s the right thing to do. because despite what he says about “not caring about any of them”, the instant niki is threatened after tubbo’s death, wilbur walks up to schlatt and tells him that if he’s going to kill anyone it should be him. later, when quackity and tommy talk him down from pressing the button, he can’t press it because they’re there and he can’t bring himself to kill them as well.

but he has no problems with putting his own life at risk. he refuses to wear armor half the time, and actively places himself in harm’s way to save others. he still cares about everyone else, as much as he says he doesn’t. even when he does cause harm to others, during november 16th, he immediately begs phil to kill him. “look, they all want you to.” he can’t live with what he’s done, and how he’s hurt people, but he couldn’t allow manburg to continue.

the man is terrified and angry and he can’t win. and even as he tries to stuff himself into the mind of someone who doesn’t care, he cannot. when he finally does, he cannot live with being that person.

but the reason i rewatched this arc was to see niki’s point of view, especially after her statements during her last stream. i genuinely think that wilbur’s only betrayal of her was pressing the button, because he betrayed everyone. they might have known he was going to do it, but they had faith he wouldn’t.

wilbur cared a lot about niki. her life under schlatt was awful, wilbur hated that she was suffering, and the scene where wilbur plants himself directly in the center of the festival and tells schlatt to kill him instead hits pretty hard. he has the argument with schlatt, and then turns to niki and tells her to run. he then hits people and sprints away, trying to give her time to escape.

this is also when he asks her to join pogtopia, because now that schlatt has said he’d kill her, it’s a safer place for her.

so the man did care about her. niki is angry at the memory of him that she has. it’s been twisted by time and her own grief and paranoia.

in rewatching pogtopia, i realized that a lot of people hate the memory of wilbur. not him, and what he did. they think he didn’t care. and to quote hamilton (apologies):

“history obliteratesit paints me in all my mistakes”

does niki have a right to be mad at him? absolutely. he caused direct harm to her by blowing up l’manburg, once it was reclaimed. but she’s wrong that he never cared.

(an interesting note: wilbur only blows it up after techno starts fighting people outside. he hears it, and says “look, they’re fighting”. he didn’t re-initiate the conflict of the country. the fact that even after peace was won people were fighting just gave evidence to his belief that the entire country was corrupted.)

niki has been hurt a lot, and wilbur has things to answer for. but we as the audience know that her statements are just her perception. she is a character who acts on perceptions. the entire stream was in black and white. during doomsday, upon seeing wilbur log on (as ghostbur), niki has a panic attack and destroys her bakery, trying to rid herself of the pain of the memories. her lines during this stream are chilling, whispered repetitions that are a mirror of wilbur’s end.

(paraphrased, it was long and confusing but there are a few bits and this was the essence of it)

“wilbur is gone. this isn’t happening. he is dead. l’manburg is gone.”“it is real, i am real, he is real and he is dead.”“l’manburg is gone, i am real, i am l’manburg”.

(god. dude i could spend Months analyzing this one stream alone. there’s so much here.)

doesn’t that sound a bit like “my unfinished symphony”? wilbur and niki both attach their own self to the nation they fought for, and can see it as an extension of themself. they both destroy parts of it in acts of fear, attempting to save everyone else from what they’ve made.

what i pulled away from niki’s stream is that she’s not healing. i remember the chamber she locks herself in at night. i remember her refusal to eat. i remember how she was so angry at tommy, and she later realized that anger was misguided. niki genuinely believes that wilbur did not care about her, and that’s not surprising: when he died, she denied the fact that he was gone. she represses the things that she can’t handle, same as lots of other people. it is easier for her to pin her hurt on wilbur, because she needs somewhere to pin it. people feel more in control if they’re angry, not sad.

the song cc!niki said was for her character really emphasizes this. it’s a coping mechanism.

but even condemning wilbur won’t help, because she will still never get closure. niki cares about what others think of her, and so she can’t move on from someone hurting her. she can’t move on because she thinks he hated her. she is angry that he is back, but it is an opportunity for her to heal. she couldn’t heal when he was gone. she’s not the only one with a negative perception of wilbur, after all. he has one too. the two of them really need to talk.

i want niki to be healthy and safe. i want to see her heal so badly, and i do think it will happen. after wilbur died, his betrayal of her stayed with her, and it eventually became her memory of the betrayal that she hated, not the thing itself. it’s been months since it happened. niki wants to find an outlet for her hurt, because she wants to feel better. there’s a pattern i noticed: she only gets mad at people once she hasn’t seen the person themself for a while. and once she sees them and talks to them, and realizes that they care about her and don’t want to hurt her, she stops blaming them for it. she only hates her perception of them. example one? tommy.

man was in exile for a long time, and when he came back he “brought” fighting. that’s how niki saw it. but the fact that after she spent time with tommy (trying to kill him but. details, details) she forgave him because she saw it wasn’t his fault is a really good sign.

i genuinely think that speaking to wilbur will help niki, and it will also help wilbur. after all, they both hate wilbur. the entire perception of wilbur as some heartless, crazy manipulator needs to be shattered for both of their sakes. they both buy into it.

i want niki to know that others care about her, and that she has places she can feel safe. she hates that wilbur is invading the syndicate, because she’s scared of his memory hurting her. i don’t think wilbur will hurt her on purpose, because even though he sees himself as awful, he doesn’t hate her. he never did. usually, with people who have hurt someone else, i want them as far away from the person they hurt as possible. if wilbur does hurt niki i’ll probably cry. but again, it’s not him that hated her, or really him that hurt her in the way she thinks he did. when wilbur was dead, niki didn’t get any better. her memory of him festered and made her feel worse. that’s also why niki killing wilbur or hurting him somehow wouldn’t help her heal. i want wilbur to explain that he didn’t hate her. is wilbur even close to self aware enough to help niki? nah. this is going to take a Long time, and it’s going to hurt.

last thing i swear lol

during niki’s stream, she says that wilbur manipulated her. again, i watched pogtopia last night, and i’ve watched the rest of season one recently as well. i genuinely don’t see it. but i do think i know why she said it.

during season one, wilbur doesn’t manipulate niki. he doesn’t have a chance to later, he’s dead. so then, what is she talking about? of course it’s a perception, same as a lot of her other claims. i think she’s talking about how she cared for l’manburg.

niki joined the server as wilbur’s friend, to join his nation. she grew to care for l’manburg. she devoted herself to it, same as he did. but doomsday showed us that she hates that. in niki’s eyes, l’manburg only brought pain for people, and because she ties herself to it, she hates that she ever cared about it. she can’t allow herself to care for it, because it was used to hurt. so how does she cope with knowing that she once did? she pretends she didn’t.

if she can convince herself that it was wilbur who convinced her to care about l’manburg, she can avoid blaming herself for her own pain. and yeah, she shouldn’t blame herself for it. it’s not her fault. the entire situation is tragic and a little hopeless and once again really makes me hope that she recovers. l’manburg was ruined for her by others. schlatt, techno, dream, wilbur. again another place where she and wilbur are similar: they convince themselves they never cared about l’manburg because of the hurt it caused.

to summarize: wilbur’s going to get a shock soon. don’t know when, but probably the prison visit. something is going to shake his perception, the story is hurtling towards that. once he is able to take responsibility for what he did, and feel safe (because a lot of what he does now is out of fear of being alone or useless), then he and niki need to talk. niki needs something to get her out of her own head. she’s spiraling too. they are essential to each other’s recovery because of how much they meant (and mean) to each other.

anyways i miss early season one niki i liked it when she was happy :(

It didn’t take long for people to notice the cute little thing you guys had going on of passing post-it notes to each other all of the time

EVERYONE thought you were dating, truth is, you both liked each other but were both too scared to confess to the other.

One day you decided to confess but you were really nervous, you didn’t know how you would do this and you didn’t want to ruin your friendship.

But then you decided it was better to confess then to be like this any longer

Suga made you happy and he was your best friend, what could go wrong?

So here you are, holding little heart-shaped post-it notes in your hands that you had just gotten at the convenience store and your cheeks flushed because you had ran all the way there and back to try to make it back in time.

You were bug because your were freaking SHORT and he was kit-kat because one day you brought him one and he got so excited and he had accidently left a little bit of chocolate in the corner of his lips and you didn’t bother to mention it to him until after he had come to sit down from his presentation in front of the whole class KDJFLSDK

“i loved that presentation kit-kat” you smiled slyly at his confused face. “Kit-Kat?” Suga asked a little confused. You reached to the chocolate at the corner of his lips and wiped it off of his lips with your thumb and then licked the chocolate off of your thumb.

So here you were, sticking this post-it note to his locker (which you knew he would go to to get his volleyball bag), telling him to meet you behind the gym before his practice game vs. nekoma so you could confess to him how you literally fell head over heels for him

You were twiddling with the bottom of your skirt as you saw Sugawara approach you from a little distance. Maybe telling him to meet you here was mistake? Maybe you should just say that you wanted to wish him good luck on the game? no, you had to tell him, it was to late to back out now and you it was getting harder and harder to hold back your feelings. mama ain’t raise a lil bitch.

Suga held your little heart shaped post-it note with your careful handwriting up and waved it. “I got your note.” he smiled, completely oblivious to what was about to happen. How were you supposed to confess to him when he was being so cute. UGH. 

“i uhm, needed to talk to you suga-kun.” you said twiddling with your fingers now. Sugawara noticed how tense you were and decided to stay quiet and pay attention to what you had to say, he didn’t want to ruin it since it seemed important. 

“you can tell me y/n” a little smile on his face.

“uhm, okay, well, i-, i like you suga, and not just you know, friendship like you, like, like LIKE you.” you stuttered out, feeling your cheeks heat up so much it would be noticeable even if it were dark out. 

Suga walked up to you with a little smirk (he was trying to keep it down i swear he didn’t want to make you freak out more but he couldn’t help it) 

“do you have any more of these post-it notes?” he asked simply. 

“I- what? Uhm yea, i think so.” confused, you took out the pack of heart-shaped stick notes and handed it to him. 

Suga took out a sharpie from his pocket and started writing on it, when he was done he just sticked it to your forehead and walked away. (YOUR FOREHEAD, I KNOW)

You were so confused you thought this wasn’t actually happening. You took the sticky note and read it.

“i like you too dummy - kit-kat”

Your heart JUMPED out of your chest. You blushed again you noticed something was written behind it too.

“wait for me at the entrance to the gym after the game”

Karasuno had won the practice match against Nekoma which had only motivated Nekoma more to practice for a real dumpster match. You laughed at the sight of the captains of both teams trying to be as sportsman like as possible to each other failing miserably because Daichi seemed like he wanted to break out into a dance and Kuroo looked like he was about to cry.

You waited at the entrance, spacing out and looking up at the stars in the sky. Only to be brought back by the familiar voice calling your name. 

“y/nn !” Suga called.

“Hi Suga!” you called back.

He stopped in front of you and blushed.

“Let me walk you home” 

“Okay” you smiled.

The two of you walked together holding pinkies under the starry sky that night and when you two had stopped in front of your house he had given you a kiss in the cheek, making you both blush.

“Good night, y/n”

“Good night, Suga”

lmao it started in the middle of volleyball practice

being one of the managers you had to take notes for the team for their plays etc.. so you had plenty of post-it notes

bokuto was being loud again, like always

you just walked up to him and stuck the sticky note right on his forehead

he turned it around and it said

“ssshhh, we saw it bokuto, good job”

bokuto literally stopped functioning because it was so out of nowhere and he wasn’t expecting that

he just stood there for a solid 20 seconds watching you walk away with the sticky note in his hand

akaashi was literally shook “y/n please do that more often just to shut him up”

i don’t know know what it was not even bokuto knows himself but after that he got such a big crush on you

maybe it was the way you got his attention with something so small?

so after that he got his own pair of sticky notes just to mess with you

he would write little notes to make you blush to try to get your attention like you got his, and he would be really sweet in the notes

“you look really pretty today :D “

“thank you for always helping our team :)”

yes, he drew the smiley faces too

and each and everyone of those post-it notes brought a little blush to your cheeks

it’s safe to say that he short-circuited when you gave him that second one and just walked away and in that day, he had never played a practice match like how he did that day because he really wanted to impress you

the team had noticed you guys’s little post-it note thing and thought it was so cute

konoha and sarukui and yukie all had a game where they would watch to see the exchange of the sticky notes and laughed at how your faces would get so red after reading each others sticky notes

bokuto would try his hardest to make sure the post-it note was perfect

he would spend time on every little detail, he wanted his handwriting to be nice and the doodles around it to be perfect so he would be extra attentive to make sure it went the way he wanted and it freaked akaashi out because he had never seen bokuto pay so much attention to anything other than volleyball

no seriously, akaashi was literally freaked (in a good way) because bokuto would be silent for like 5 minutes focusing on his post-it of the day

not long after, you guys started dating and sometimes bokuto would have his arm around you and his hand would slip into the back pocket of your jeans to leave his post-it note there and he liked to watch how your cheeks would get so red, he thought it was so cute

for some reason you guys just forgot to tell the team you two were dating, you guys just thought that they thought you already were?

so uhm, this is how they found out

you were writing on your clipboard, taking notes for the practice getting the next volleyball camp set up for the boys. the team was setting everything up for practice to start and Akaashi was walking up to you to ask a question about the next training camp when OUT OF NOWHERE FREAKING BOKUTO SHOWS UP RUNNING TOWARDS YOU WITH A STICKY NOTE IN HIS HAND HE JUST SLAPS YOUR ASS WITH THE HAND THAT HAS THE STICKY NOTE AND KISSES YOUR CHEEK AND RUNS PAST YOU LIKE IT’S NOTHING. 

Mind you the whole team just saw everything and Akaashi was right there so he not only got a front row seat to the sound you made when Bokuto slapped your ass but he also could read what Bokuto wrote on the post-it note.

Your face was SO red and you reached for the sticky note stuck on your ass.

“your ass looks really good in those pants baby :)”

Akaashi knew that he liked you but he had no idea that you guys were dating so he literally yelled “what the FUCK BOKUTO” and Konoha was about to spike a volleyball at him and Yukie was about to call the police before you could stop them and Bokuto and you had to tell them that you guys were dating😭😭

“ohhh but still, whAT THE FUCK I WAS RIGHT THERE” Akaashi spluttered.

“sorry akaashiiii” bokuto said, his hair going down about to go into emo mode. you kissed him in the cheek and he sprung up with the new found energy and gave you a big hug and you giggled.

“okay! let’s get this practice started!” bokuto yelled and started jogging over to the volleyballs after giving you a little kiss at the top of your head.

i think it's also really important to note that while berdly may not have received the attention from a caretaker that's absolutely integral for a growing child, he hasn't been alone. he's had noelle's very genuine friendship - and while he hasn't. always processed it as without ulterior motives on noelle's end, like.... they're still close. they're still there for each other, through it all. i think that's very special.

the cyber world adventure was really good for him, even if he's walking away thinking of it as a dream. it's going to be a "dream" that never quite goes away. there, he learned he was focusing on the wrong things. maintaining good grades in school is an easy ticket to approval from adults, but it's short-lived approval, and completely meaningless in the long run. there's a hole in his heart that he's been fighting to fill for years and it's finally clicked that he's never going to get anywhere like this

but even if he is brushed aside by every adult in his life, even if he is virtually "unimpressive", he can still find acceptance and friendship. turns out other teenagers don't give a shit about his grades or what subjects he struggles with. when it comes to people his own age, it's not "wow you aced that test? you're so smart!", it's "um. okay...? are you going to come eat moss with us or not?"

it was just a ""dream."" but it still holds some grains of truth, doesn't it? maybe it's time he focuses on things like making friends and doing stupid teenager stuff and living his goddamn instead of fretting over maintaining his perfect grades. if he opens up and offers his honest self, maybe he'll find that acceptance again, "for real"

-the cute, quiet guy in class who will just stare at you when you ask him if you could borrow his notes from last week bc u were ill

- taehyung will apologise for his friend, nudge jk, which will snap him back to reality

- apologises and says that his notes are messy anyways, bc he takes notes in a way that only he understands

-you started talking after that bc he had to decode that shit to you

-shy bean turns out to be a super goofy dude who is scarily organized but with a system only he understands, and it works out for him, his grades are pretty good

- junior dance instructor as the campus dance lessons, besties with his senior, jung hoseok

-jimin and you both tutor him sometimes bc he has problems in some lectures

-one day, you were chilling at yours and you said that you guys should practice for an English presentation and hes like "I gotta clear my head first" and goes for a run, which u would understand in every normal circumstance, except it's 1 am and you're like "???????"

-cherries are a running gag between you two, bc after you went over to his place the first time and you became hungry after a while, opened his fridge and burst out laughing after seeing what was inside of his fridge: cheese strings, leftover jajangmyeon, 5 packs of banana milk (which was nothing new to you) and maraschino cherries ("I like the finer things in life y/n" - "sure..." - he stared at you without a word when you opened the cupboard and roughly 8 packs of ramen fell out, right on your head, and then laughed his ass off when you just said "hallelujah")

-actually very thoughtful and sweet, but also very mischievous, the two of you would play pranks on each other on many occasions (the prank war ended with a cup of very bitter coffee that almost ended your friendship)

-jk got shit-faced drunk at one of the biggest parties of the semester and started singing/yelling to snsd's "i got a boy" and started dancing, which you filmed, obviously, your host (jimin) himself kicked you out, after jk took some pills from a very shady guy and jimin and you started fighting jk while trying to take the pills away from him and jk accidentally knocked over a fancy vase that jimin got from god knows where

- you dragged jungkook to jimins place the next day bc you were equally mad about to whole ordeal and you also knew you sure af don't wanna get on park jimin's bad side

- you guys' way to deal with hangovers would be an unholy amount of ramen and watching movies all day (jk would take at least 3 naps inbetween, he once woke up to princess mononoke, started sobbing and asked "why are humans like this" and fell back asleep) he'd occasionally snuggle up to you while asleep & would be very embarrassed about it when he would wake up, you'd have to reassure him everytime:

gonna rant about sanders sides plot bc i think about it all the time and need an outlet okay here we go. this got super long so most of it is under the cut.

fyi: i talk a lot about patton and virgil and how theyre doing. i dont think i paint either of them negatively and if i did its not on purpose bc i love them both but just be aware!! also this is just my interpretations/predictions and i wanted to share but its not The Only Acceptable Interpretation and if u disagree then obviously thats fine lol

so i keep thinking about the conflict between virgil and patton. clearly something is weird. i think it probably started when virgil asked patton to stop treating him like “some innocent harmless angel” at the end of LNTAO.

i actually think this was a good interaction—virgil was trying not to hurt patton’s feelings but also was expressing something he was uncomfortable with and he succeeded in my opinion. and patton doesn’t argue, just immediately goes “okay, virgil!” like he says his name, no nickname, no kiddo. he starts trying instantly to check himself and respect virgil’s wishes.

then in embarrassing phases their interactions seem a little more...tense? i’ll list the ones that stick out bc lists are Fun:

patton fakes being scared. virgil: “don’t patronize me” patton: “you mean pantronize” virgil: “whatever!!”

patton corrects himself from saying “bat winged cherub” to “bad....boy” while virgil shoots him a look like we just talked about this

virgil’s talking about how his style is a relic from thomas’ emo phase. patton: “we’re basically style twins!! look out just a couple of cool guys comin thru!” virgil: “okay, patton” patton: “um! sorry...”

virgil seems aggravated, probably bc patton is still treating him like a poor lil anxious baby when the whole point of this episode was virgil showing that they can’t just ignore his role as anxiety. they may be friends now but virgil’s past attitude is still part of him. one could say he doesnt want them to ignore the “dark side” of his presence. wink wink. this could be him maybe building up to revealing that he used to be a dark side, subtly preparing thomas for it.

then SvS. patton and virgil don’t interact directly except at the start and during the trial, but it doesn’t seem as strained. this is probably because theyre both on the same side when it comes to deceit—and i think thats important. in svs, both patton and virgil are anti-deceit, and like patton pointed out in LNTAO, “anxiety and morality are telling you the same thing,” which seems to signal to thomas that he should listen.

also in SvS, janus alludes to the fact that virgil was a dark side and is hiding it:

“so you’ve never been reluctant to share anything with the group?”

“dont.”

“what, i just meant your name!”

“dont.”

“maybe that’s why its so easy for you to see me for what i am! like i said before, it takes a liar to know a liar.”

i’m 90% sure he didn’t just mean virgil’s name. virgil is clearly distraught about where this conversation is headed and that just doesn’t line up with him being hesitant to share his name. his fears over his dark persona and reluctance to share his name have been addressed multiple times, so what does he have to be scared of? unless janus is talking about virgil being a dark side.

moving on! in DWIT, again, theyre both kinda anti-remus. theyre both afraid of him, and as logan points out, theyre both part of why remus is so powerful as intrusive thoughts. they dont argue much; virgil spends most of this ep arguing with logan, actually, which is interesting bc he and logan seem to have one of the closest friendships in the show.

in this episode, there’s a few final pushed that i think lead virgil to confess he was a dark side.

first remus reveals his own name and says “i would never hide anything from you!” and sends virgil a little glance. virgil looks uncomfortable. then, around the 31 minute mark, logan says “you can always talk to someone...subjects who talked about their thoughts often felt better emotionally and physically.” and you can see virgil looking around like he’s realizing something.

and then he reveals himself at the end of this episode. just to thomas, but i’m assuming all the other sides would know as soon as thomas himself does, right? if they didn’t know already. what sticks out to me is that he specifically waits until the others leave. he doesn’t want to say it directly to them. and as for how this connects to the patton-virgil stuff...patton might think virgil doesn’t trust him/doesn’t want to open up to him. and/or virgil actually doesn’t want to open up to patton as much anymore.

then in healthy distractions, we clearly see that something is up between virgil and patton.

patton: “how could he feel b-a-d with his inner d-a-d?” virgil: “i can think of a few ways”

patton: “thomas made his decision and i think we should all just try to settle into it” virgil: “how are you telling me to settle into something right now when you have taken your sweet time to settle into things that you were uncomfortable with in the past”

so honestly i don’t really know what virgil’s talking about?? does he mean the events of moving on and the whole breakup situation?? or maybe he’s calling patton out for taking so long to drop the “angel baby” nicknames/treatment. or its implying that patton didnt know virgil was a dark side and is still coming to terms with it/coming to terms with the fact that virgil didn’t want to tell him & the other sides directly.

or he’s referencing something we don’t know of. either way, their relationship is obviously strained rn and it isn’t entirely clear what the turning point was between DWIT and ATHD.

then we come to the new episode. virgil doesn’t appear in POF at all, not even a cameo. i think thats the first time this has happened since accepting anxiety part 1. the only reference to him is the purple time-clock during the mario sequence and other smaller inclusions in the other video game parts. and then what happens in this episode?

patton realizes selfishness can be good sometimes. he accepts that the world, and thomas’ view of it, are not as black-and-white as he wanted to believe in svs. it wasnt a matter of “callback = bad vs wedding = good” bc thats not how the world works. beyond that, he accepts janus.

and i’m gonna bring up the idea that virgil is super mean and gets away with it. its true that the other sides, especially patton, are hesitant to correct him or reprimand him, which i think is bc theyre afraid of making him think they hate him. this idea could even be in the forefront of their minds if they really are that impacted by virgil not telling them he’s a dark side.

the thing is...virgil IS mean sometimes and he DOES get away with it. often, its just directed at janus or remus, and the other sides don’t WANT to disagree. when its directed at the other sides, i’m not sure its taken entirely to heart, regardless of whether it should be or not.

and we all know how virgil feels about janus. suspicion, anger, and aggression are all things virgil expresses towards janus from the moment he appeared as patton in CLBG.

so this all has been building up to me saying that the virgil-patton conflict has now become a virgil-patton-janus conflict. virgil and janus’ past is going to clash with patton and janus’ new alliance, which will strain the already tense relationship between virgil and patton. even worse, now roman is firmly in the anti-janus field, which will likely feed virgil’s anger, especially if he also blames patton for hurting roman.

and if we DO go to roman’s room next, and janus shows up, and the situation worsens...we might have a full blown “patton & janus vs virgil & roman” level argument on our hands.

i think virgil’s gonna be aggressive towards janus, as he has been, but when thomas and patton don’t dismiss him—when they call him by his NAME, not just “deceit”—we’re gonna get a rehash of “are you seriously siding with deceit?” except this time roman won’t be the one saying “are you seriously so closed minded to think that everything said by someone you dont like is automatically untrue?”

the other sides—or patton and thomas at the very least—are going to see that virgil’s blatant dislike of janus is not entirely warranted. and keep in mind that we still don’t know what happened between virgil and janus to make virgil hate him, so maybe it IS warranted. but its clear now that janus is trying to help (assuming he’s not lying which i rly hope he’s not lol) and i dont think its fair to thomas for virgil to want to disregard everything janus says. thomas and patton will realize this and they’ll have to confront virgil about his treatment of janus. we just haven’t gotten there yet.

its gonna be wild, honestly. i want janus to be fully accepted but it might be a while until we get there, just like patton took a while to understand the whole “grayscale morality” idea, and how its probably gonna take a while for virgil (and janus, tbh) to move on from whatever happened between them in the past.

i also believe this is headed towards a sympathetic everyone ending where theyre all important to thomas, acknowledged by him as important, and all actively working together, no dark sides or light sides, just sides. so yeah

basically, the next few episodes will probably be an explosion of all these char tensions and its probably gonna get worse before it gets better, and thats not even considering logan angst, creativitwins angst, or the orange side. but i think (and hope) it’ll all be fine and im hyped to see where this series goes :p

so i wasn’t gonna do this because I didn’t think the prompts were very good for writing to, but I remembered the last day’s prompt was “role swap” so I decided to do something small and quick for it. this is all 7 days in one post. the first and last ones are drabbles and one of them is an au idea

Day 1. Angst or Fluff 

Zim’s denial skills are god tier, but even they have their limits.

Drabble. I think this is the turning point for my eventual found family au

“When are you going to get it through your thick head that the Tallests aren’t coming?” Dib flings his arms out wide in his exasperation

“They’re just…!” Zim fumbles a bit, clenching and unclenching his fists. “The Armada is a million light years away! It takes time to travel that far, obviously. It took me six of your months to get here from Conventia and the Massive is further away from here now than that. They’ll come! You’ll see! And then you’ll be sorry!” Zim’s face is drawn tight. He’s tense all over, shoulders drawn up to his jaw, antennae pressed flat to his head, and normally Dib prides himself on reading Zim like an open book, but he’s too far gone in his own annoyance to see the warning signs.

It’s because he doesn’t see these red flags that Dib proceeds to stick his own foot in his mouth with his next words. “Maybe if you weren’t such an idiot and opened your eyes, you’d see the truth—that they dumped you here to get rid of you.”

“YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW THAT?” Zim explodes, planting his tiny hands in Dib’s chest and shoving. The boy lands painfully on his ass. “I’m not stupid, Dib.” His name is spat like an insult. “I know they don’t care about me! Why do you think I try so hard?”

Dib gapes at Zim, looking up at him for once, stunned into silence. “I.” He swallows. “You know?”

“Of course, I know.” Zim’s voice is a low hiss and his eyes are narrowed to slits. “You don’t get banished and then just get over it. You don’t get put on trial to defend your life, forced to relive your worse mistakes, and get sentenced to death, only to be saved by freak miracle, and never acknowledge it happened.” Zim takes a deep breath and crosses his arms over his chest. Dib supposes he means for it to look intimidating, but it looks more like he’s holding himself together. “I’ve always known.”

“Why do you try so hard then? If you’ve always known there was no point?” Dib has to ask, has to know, has to hear the words from Zim’s own mouth.

Headcanons.

Dib seems like the kind of guy that would both take whatever kind of relationship he could get, but also appreciate it. Dib isn’t afraid to work for what he wants and isn’t afraid of things that are “not normal” so I see him being the type to not care about the gender of whoever he eventually decides to date. However, because Dib’s been burned in the past, he would need a deep and sincere emotional relationship to see someone as a potential romantic partner.

Gaz is just a big lesbian. Girls, man.

Zim is ace all the way baby!!! He’s just not interested, and sure, part of that is me projecting, but it just feels right for Zim to just… not care. He has no interest and doesn’t care for sexual attraction regardless of whether or not Irkens do/can/will have sex or not. On the other hand, Zim has expressed a softer side before and I can see him being able to maybe eventually develop romantic feelings for someone if he actually manages to get close enough to them for those kinds of feelings to even emerge. It would take a lot of time and a deep, meaningful friendship, but Zim has shown he’s capable of love. He just has to let himself feel it.

I’m still in the process of thinking about how I wanna go about my found family au so here’s just some initial ideas

After ETF, Zim self isolates for a bit. The florpus hole was his Last Ditch Effort plan and had it succeeded, he knew he would have been destroyed too. He was okay with it. He had made peace with it. However, it failed, and now he’s forced to reflect on said failure

The Massive doesn’t escape the florpus. They’re gone, completely. If they the ship does manage to get out, it’s not in one piece

I initially couldn’t decide if The Trial should come Before ETF or After but I think im gonna say before so the Massive doesn’t have to come back lmao

Before too long, Zim jumps back into the planning/scheming swing of things, but his ideas are never more than petty crimes and being a huge annoyance

Dib gets really annoyed with him and they have a big argument

Zim finally admits to knowing of his own Defectiveness

Dib reluctantly feels bad for him and backs off a bit to let Zim have his space

Zim, however, sees this as a betrayal and redoubles his efforts to get his attention

Somewhere along the way, Skoodge comes back and Zim backs off of Dib a bit, having someone else to focus attention on

Dib eventually begins to offer Zim his hand in friendship (phrased as a truce at first) and they finally make steps towards getting along

They realize they actually really like being friends

Zim eventually realizes that he’s made a life for himself, outside of the Empire

Eventually Zim, Skoodge, GIR, Minimoose, Dib, and Gaz form their own little family and explore space and hunt cryptids

 Day 6. What if IZ was a different Genre?

Uhhhh does “fantasy instead of scifi” count?

Potential idea maybe. (oops it ended up being a fantasy/modern magic au haha ooooops)

Instead of being an alien, I had the idea of, maybeeeeee Irkens are like. Elves maybe, or perhaps some kind of fae. (I don’t know much about fae, oops)

Okay bear with me here, this is all coming together in real time.

The Irkens (which is what I’m gonna call their clan or faction or subrace or whatever) still want to be the rulers or something over the humans/other mystical beings. This world of magic is hidden from humans and they live blissfully unaware. There are invaders all over the place, using magic and glamors to trick humans into thinking they’re also humans. Zim is one such invader and just to happens to end up in Dib’s town, whereupon he enrolls in Dib’s school, pretending to be a transfer student.

I have no idea why or how the Irkens invade or what methods they use, but since my biggest experience with elves is through DND, I’m going to say they’re functionally similar to certain DND elf races.

So anyway, Zim ends up in Dib’s class and Zim’s glamor just Doesn’t Work on Dib for whatever reason (maybe Dib passed his Wisdom saving throw while literally everyone else failed, idk) and so Dib can immediately see Zim for what he is.

Dib is still into paranormal type stuff, though in his world, he’s less about cryptids and aliens and more about the magical species/world(s) that he KNOWS exists. His big goal in his au is similar to canon in that he wants to expose it all for recognition and love from his father.

Zim, meanwhile, he just wants to prove himself, just like canon. I can’t decide how I want the Irken hierarchy to go in this au—that’s something to think about later, when I have more time—but whatever it is, Zim is either a) not very good at it, b) not suited for it, c) ridiculed for not fitting in to it, or d) a combination of any or all of these things. (or secret option e) he rejects it but has no where else to go. On the other hand, it maybe be none of these things.)

GIR is here too though he’s probably not a robot. Maybe he’s another kind of magical being, or, hell, maybe he’s just Zim’s little brother. I’d be okay with that.

Gaz can also see through glamors but she just doesn’t care. Tak shows up at some point to get revenge, and Skoodge also shows up at some point to stay with Zim and be his friend.

Zim is bad at blending in at first, but he eventually Does get better, since he’s not totally isolated from other Irkens here and he also doesn’t Look like an alien.

(I’m thinkin’ elves in this au look Mostly human but with a few differences. Since I’m biased and this is MY fantasy world, damnit, elves are just. Really Pretty. Ethereal and elegant and graceful (for the most part—there are always exceptions) and they’re also great at magic. Maybe Zim isn’t all that great at magic, I dunno. I’ll figure something out.)

This ended up being less of a genre change and more of a whole ass au, lol oops

Day 7. Role swap

Drabble. This is for an ongoing species swap au that i’ve had in development for the last few years. i haven’t posted anything for it yet, but I’ve thought about it a lot

Dib freezes as Zim points the plastic water gun at his head. Zim’s eyes are narrowed, lips pursed, and he adjusts his grip almost nervously. Behind him, Gir is holding a bucket full of water balloons and a pair of neon green star shaped sunglasses. It’d be cute if Dib wasn’t aware of how painful Earth water is to his Irken skin.

Zim finally lowers his gun slightly. “I want some answers, alien.” He looks Dib over with critical eyes. “Who are you really, and why are you here?” He reaches back and Gir hands him a water balloon with a big smile. “And you better tell the truth or I’ll bust this over your big head.”

Dib grimaces and watches the balloon. “My name Dib, and I’m a scientist. I’m an Irken, from Irk, and I’m here to learn more about life on this planet.” He holds his hands up, hoping to placate the human gesture for surrender. “I’m not here to harm you or anyone else, promise.”

Zim huffs. “Yeah right. I bet you just came here to laugh at the locals.” He puts on a mocking voice and waves the gun and balloon as he speaks. “‘Stupid, stinking humans. They can’t even travel beyond their own moon, yet. What morons. I bet they descended from pigs with how horrible and stupid they are.’” He jams the gun against Dib’s chest. “Tell me I’m wrong.”

Dib bites his lower lip and looks away. He can’t deny he hasn’t thought something similar since arriving on Earth, but Zim didn’t have to be so crude and blunt about it.

The two are at a standoff for almost a minute before Zim blows out a long sigh and steps back. He turns to put the balloon back in the bucket, gives Gir a pat on the head, and shoots Dib one last glare. “Stay away from me, Dib. I have enough problems to deal with without having to worry about whether or not it’s safe for my brother to go to school or if I need to watch my back while walking my dog.”

“I wouldn’t hurt you,” Dib says, a little put out.

Zim scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Yeah, I’ve heard that one before. I know better than to believe it.” He turns and tries to smile at Gir but it comes out a little twisted and sad. “C’mon Gir. Let’s go home and get Minimoose and take him to that dog park you like so much.”

Gir gasps and lets out a cheer. “Can we go get ice cream afterwards?”

Zim gives a little laugh, smile turning a bit more genuine. “Yeah, sounds good.”

As they walk away Dib can’t help but wonder why he ever thought Zim was an Irken himself.

Changkyun looked at your sleeping figure in his bed. You came here yesterday,crying. He of course knew the reason. It was always the same. The same guy doing the same things and you coming to Changkyun’s place in the same emotional state. It was always the same. You and that guy would have fights, he would leave the place and you would come crying to Changkyun. Your best friend.

Now looking at you, he actually couldn’t tell why you were still with that bastard.

You were too beautiful, too cute, too naive for that guy. Changkyun couldn’t help himself but thought, You’re even too beautiful to be with me.

You two were best friends since the day you met in childcare. It was always you who had high spirit, who was always happy. Changkyun was the silent one in your friendship. He was the one that looked like an emo when you were teenagers. He was the one that looked like he would bite if anyone tried to talk to him. You were always the kind one, the cute girl hanging out with an emo boy. The easy one to talk to. He always adored that about you.

Until the day you met that guy, that boyfriend of yours. 

Of course you had boyfriends before too but none of them was able to turn you into that sad and small girl lying in front of him now. None of them made you come to Changkyun for comfort. You were always happy, always smiling and shining till the very end of your relationship with them. Maybe that was why Changkyun never thought of acting on his own feelings for you then. You seemed too happy with them.

Now thinking about it, he couldn’t realize when did he fall for you exactly.The only thing he knew was that he has been in love with you since forever. He of course had girlfriends but he couldn’t deny that some of them were just to make you jealous. A trick that never works.

He directed his attention to the laptop in front of him when he saw you moving in bed. That was a sign that you woke up. You always turned around in bed when you first wake up. He learned this about you when you started to date that bastard, too. You had never stayed at Changkyun’s place before, always saying you have your own home so staying here would be a discomfort to him. Until you started to have fights with that guy. He still remembered how your face was the day of your first fight. A memory he could never forget.

“Good morning Kukkung.” you told him smiling. There were sadness still on your face from the night before.

“Yes, good morning.” He acted like he was doing some important thing on his laptop just to not look at you. It never mattered the state you were in, you always made his heart go crazy whenever he looked at you.

“What are you doing?”

“Job.”

“You have a job??” 

Why did you always welcome the news from him with excitement? Even when you were sad enough to cry for more than four hours the night before.

“Yes, the last application I did, they hired me.”

“Wow, why haven’t you told me that before?! Oh, I would’ve prepared your favourite meals for you. We would’ve celebrated it!”

Don’t do that, he thought. Don’t act like you care about me.

“It’s okay, if you wanna celebrate it so much then we can go and eat out.”

“That would be amazing!! When are we doing this, I should get ready!”

“You’re gonna ask for his permission again, right?” right after he said that, he cursed himself. Your face was now down after remembering him.

“No, I wasn’t going to.” your voice came out like a whisper.

“I’m sorry, let’s go tonight huh? What about tonight? Is it okay for you?”

“Yes.” oof great, you were really down now.

“I’m so sorry y/n, I didn’t mean it.”

“I know, it’s okay.” you tried to put a smile on your face but it was too fake to trick him, “Let’s meet at the usual place.”

When Changkyun stepped in your usual meeting point, he couldn’t believe his eyes. Just when he turned back to go away from there, you called his name.

“Changkyun!! We are here, come!”

Ah, yes. You two are here,he thought.

Thinking about a way to escape from that night, Changkyun came to your table and sat across you and your boyfriend.

Your freaking boyfriend.

“Welcome, how was your day?” You were shining again. She must’ve made it up to him again, he thought.

“Fine.”

“Oh, great! What should we eat?.. What about you choose this one and I choose that, so we can eat on each other’s plates too?” You asked your boyfriend who looked like he had no clue and he didn’t care anyways.

“Just choose one, you’re choosing food y/n, do you have to choose everything together with him?” Asked Changkyun.

“Wow, someone’s sensitive today.” said your boyfriend.

“No, I’m just disgusted by you.” Answered Changkyun.

You could see the lightnings between their eyes.

“Umm, okay. I want a hamburger!” You said cheerily to shoo away the dark clouds surrounding the table.

“See, it’s easy.” Said Changkyun focusing on the menu in front of him. Why were you so air-headed? He hated that about you sometimes.

“Changkyun, you really need to calm down though, you’re acting like a child.” You said in the most joking way possible praying he would get the clue and act nicer towards your boyfriend. And he of course got it. He knew you too well. But he knew himself better.

A child?

“Wow, thank you for the compliment. I think I won’t eat anything, thank you for the celebration y/n, I really had fun.” He said standing up to leave the table.

“Changkyun-”

“See you later, I guess?” he said and left that place.

He waited for you to come after him, though. He wanted you to.. He wanted you to stop him from leaving. He wanted you to realize something, anything.. He wanted you to stop acting this kind towards that guy. He wanted you to hold his hand and stop him from leaving. He wanted a lot from you.

But none of them happened at that moment.

He went to his home, got into his room and let himself fall on his face on bed. So you forgave your boyfriend again? Oh of course that was the best case scenario. You could’ve been the apologizing one, he didn’t even think he knew you at this point.

He couldn’t recognize when he fell asleep but what woke him up was his phone and doorbell ringing at the same time. Going between the two, he decided to answer his phone. To his luck or bad luck in that case, it was you.

“Yes?”

“Ah!! Changkyun where are you?”

“Why?”

“I tried so hard to reach you!!”

“Why y/n?”

“What do you mean by why, I was so worried!! I called you so many times, I sent too many messages, you didn’t answer any of them, I was so worried. Are you okay?”

“Yes, now if you excuse me I need to open the door.” No he didn’t need to open the door. He just needed to escape from you. He was definitely not in the mood for whoever was at his door now.

“Ah, that’s me ringing the door bell. Can you open the door?”

Sighing to himself, he realized he had to face you now. He hanged the phone up on you and opened the door.

“What, y/n?”

“Can’t I come in?”

“Yeah, come in.”

“Changkyun I-”

“Let me guess, you two had a fight again.”

“Yes but can you please talk to me more calmly?”

“Why would I, y/n? You know how much I hate that guy! You still brought him with you to a dinner you were supposed to have with me. Why should I be calm right now?”

“Changkyun, I’m so sorry. I know I shouldn’t have brought him. But he insisted and he threatened me-”

“He threatened you with what? With breaking up with you? That would be a gift for you if you ask me.”

“Yes, with that.”

“So why are you here now? Shouldn’t you be with him feeding his ego right now?”

“We broke up.” 

You what now-

“What?” Changkyun was dumbfounded even though every cell in his body was busy celebrating this news at the moment.

“We broke up for good.” you looked at him with the guilt in your eyes.

“How did that happen? You had just gotten together.”

“Yeah but all this time, his problem was me so I had no trouble forgiving him. Today.. Today it was you. When you left the table, he talked some stuff about you that I could never ever forgive or forget and I realized you were the only one I could never let anyone say anything bad about. So..” You looked down.

Changkyun couldn’t believe his ears. He couldn’t believe you did something like this just for him. He just.. He could just look at you with his mouth open.

“So umm.. I know I ask a lot of things from you and I’m being too much of a bother but.. Umm.. Can I stay here tonight? I don’t think I can sleep in my place. Your place comforts me and-”

“Y/n you may not want to stay here..”

“Why? You have someone over? I.. I’m so sorry-”

“No, no I don’t have anyone over but I need to tell you something and after that you may not want to talk to me..” Changkyun couldn’t help himself anymore. Something inside of him just gave in at your sight in front of him and he knew he couldn’t hold anything inside anymore.

“I.. I have.. I have some feelings for you that I cannot get rid of. I.. I’m so sorry but I can’t help myself. I know this may be the end of our friendship and you’re definitely free to yell at me, be mad at me and all. But.. I just can’t hold it in anymore. I don’t want to stand seeing some other guy holding you close to him anymore. I.. I just don’t.. I’m so sorry if knowing these bothers you. I’m so sorry I don’t wanna make you feel uncomfortable, I-”

“You didn’t make me feel uncomfortable.” you got a step closer to him.

“Didn’t I?” he couldn’t look you in the eyes. He looks cute, you thought to yourself.

“No, you didn’t.”

“Are you sure you understood what I mean by those?” this time he looked at you shortly to make sure you understand.

i just learned that tumblr has a limit for number of tags LMFAO so i had to rewrite a bunch of stuff

anyway ive noticed that. obvioulsy hajime would have like. issues about izuru and probably feeling this sense of dread and being like *elmo staring at The camera* thats not me. Right? i talk about this cos i think as someone who mainly projects onto izuru but not hajime that i feel like... the reverse. as in being likened to hajime makes me uneasy. and i think that's one reason why i hate the post game of sdr2 so much with hajime apparently having his hair cut short just like it was before the tragedy..... like the idea of izuru being completely discarded makes me feel bad!! :) like i respect hajime as having the same foundation as izuru but i feel they are completely different in what their main fears are... but what they yearn for deep deep down would probably be the same (i am digressing) like hajime really really wants to make a name for himself and probably bases his self worth in being talented but izuru doesn't care abt his talent at all and just sees himself as a tool for other people. actually as i'm typing this out they are less different that i was thinking. like, this is a bit... away from canon but idc-- i think that izuru would have like 'teachers pet' issues if that makes sense. and hajime does have the same base feeling of needing to impress other people. its just that hajime would be anxious about not being worth anything and trying to mean something to other people and izuru would be worried about like. if he cant perform how he was created to then he has failed. like a computer program that keeps encountering the same error. so its like. as i said before the same foundation same base fear but it expands in different ways. this got off topic but i guess what i was trying to say at first is like the way that izuru and hajime branch out away from each other is very important to me..... and i hate. idk. i hate how some people will treat izuru like he's just some entity of pure ice cold apathy. like thats all there is to him. it makes me think of a fic i read that was like. all the remnants of despair treated izuru as a scapegoat for all their problems. like to them he is the emblem of the tragedy and a reminder of everything that they did, and i feel that some fans treat him the same way. i say to myself its okay they just don't Get izuru like i do...................... i promise on god that he has emotions he's just very emo and also like literally told by everyone around him that he's some perfect machine of a being so ofc he would internalize it and think that that's how he's Supposed to be. Um anyway next topic. i also dislike fanfics of post game that just treat izuru as hajime's skeleton in the closet. in general i dislike post games that are like. its hajime! no trace of izuru except for the talents and the cool red eye teehee which im pretty sure is exactly what the anime did idk i dont care abt the anime so i wont watch it. like. my ideal post game is one where it is 'Izuru' waking up but he has the memories of the neo world program instead of 'Hajime' waking up with izuru's memories of the tragedy. like idk abt you guys but if u were injected with so much knowledge that it make the world banal and dully repetitive i don't think you could just snap out of it.... post game should have been Izuru Realizing that he has depression and learning how to cope with his new friends !!!! bcos friendship is magic :)LOL sorry. Anyway I want to reiterate again how i hate that they made his hair super short again in the end. Dumbest decision of all time. and THIS gets me started on like how the writing of danganronpa is always just like.... not quite there. like i loved how sdr2 was abt like making your own future... but FIRST off i hated the chiaki ghost in the 6th trial i don't think she should've been there at all. i hate how chiaki is so ... shallow.. but the game treats her as this beacon of hope its kind of insulting. especially when she literally just says "just do it :) it'll be okay :)" and hajime is like dueling his depression with all the Nihil stuff (i love you izuru but you are the embodiment of

depression in that trial) like. its kind of insulting not gonna lie!!! chiaki never should have been "the reason" why hajime refutes the Nihil stuff it should've been hajime coming to that decision all on his own... like depression ultimately is up to the depressed person making an effort to be better not just their bestie going "nooo its okay don't worry :)))". sorry i dislike chiaki. her shallowness is somewhat excusable if she was an AI the entire time like monomi but then the anime made her real... the main reason why i don't pay attention to the anime tbh. ALSO like since she never had to work for her talent like taka then it means that she is honestly Privileged in the danganronpa universe..... so she wouldn't Get hajime's struggles. which is why i dislike hinanami. anyway. izuru deserved to be more fleshed out but also i'm glad that he wasn't bcos 1) i love that he isn't a popular character and 2) i don't trust the danganronpa writers with him. they wouldn't get him like i do either...........................................................................................................................................

guys.. i dont get it at all... sure, luka is cute, handsome and everything else but hes not adrien and he will never be. I cant understand why are you saying that marinette fell for luka or that she LOVES him. Love is a huge word guys. Marinette isnt in love with luka. She just met him and youre all saying that she prefers him over adrien because he said that she was amazing? Are you falling in love with someone because he told you 'how nice you are' or stuff? Yes, maybe she is interested in him because lets be honest here, luka is amazing character and i like him, i really do. But she doesnt love him. And thats the truth. I dont like it when the fandom leaves adrien behind because there is the emo guy luka and they want him to be with marinette because '' adrien doesnt notice marinette at all so she has to be with luka so adrien can be jealous!'' What kind of bullshit is that? How is Adrien not noticing her? He thinks of her everyday because every morning he's packing the lucky charm she gave him into his pocket. He's ALWAYS taking it everywhere with him. Marinette is his first friend. Real friend. Was the first person who went with him to the movies. I doubt he told nino or alya that his mother playes in that movie. How can you say hes not noticing her? He compliments her literally every time he sees her designs or her hard work. He even said that shes amazing. Just look at the way hes talking about her with Kagami. Shes really important friend to him and thats everything she needs to be now. Remember that you love a lot of people in your life. Your friends too, right? Maybe not in the romantic way but you still love them. Adrien is in love with ladybug so don't expect him to have feelings for Marinette. But what would you do if you figured out that your first friend, the girl who gave you her own lucky charm and any others is your great partner, someone you trust with your life (confirmed haha), someone your in love with? I dont know bout you but i would be the happiest person in the world because there is no love without friendship. They need time to figure it all out and we have to give it to them. Marinette isnt in love with luka (yet xD) so please, can you stop saying that u have to decide which person ships with Marinette? Im not saying that you cant ship her with luka, its your decision. But remember that adrienette is endgame and even if you love luka really much he won't end up with marinette. Im sorry but thats the truth. Just relax and enjoy the show.
