Soranowoto is criminally underrated, I feel like the fact it came around the time K-on did and a few of the characters looked vaguely similar is the reason it didn't get the hype it deserved. The art can be a little wonky at times but the music and scenery and story are amazing. It looks like a lighthearted music anime on the surface but it has some amazing world building and some dark undertones that serve a purpose (not just edgy for edgy sake). It talks about the horrors of war, the family you chose for yourself, and at times it can be pretty introspective. They also dont spoonfeed you lore, its placed very organically throughout the story and the bits and pieces you get from the characters paints a much larger more interesting picture. If you like witch from mercury you'd probably like this too (though unfortunately it's less gay). It's only 13 episodes and tells a complete story and it's all available for free on YouTube so there really is no excuse not to watch it.
eeeeee more of that rhythm family hc i briefly shared dump
a friend liked the idea of twirling champion (and laidback pioneer) being cousins with the rhythm fam, and twirl and dreams being skating partners. it had rotted my brain ever since lol
