(i’m gonna finish the lien work and do background stuff later but here’s context-also i don’t wanna hear anything abt him being shirtless. it’s a mythical being au, krakens don’t have clothes. plus he’s sixteen here, not a legal adult, yes, but not nine. so pls don’t come at me for this one-)

krakens were always seems as scary beings who would devour ships whole. kyle is highly against this because eating an innocent thing is wrong! buuuuut he’s in the ocean and he’s hungry…what’s he gonna do?? :3

(he’s prolly gonna let it go but not without accidentally terrorizing the poor people on board, but how couldja hate a cutie ike that?? plus his stomach isn’t making it any better-)

deep diving into kyle’s character in this AU

Kyle is by far my favorite in this AU because…idk I feel like I was creative here

So…what is Kyle in this AU?

Kyle is a Kraken. He’s half…sea monster? Something or other, I’m in the process of creating the thing he is bound together with. And half human. It’ll make more sense when I actually make the art. Oh, and he’s gigantic. Because Krakens are kinda made out to be these huge beings that devour ships and destroy shit…and because I feel like having Kyle be at that size would be pretty neat. He can turn kinda half human half sea creature on land and be like…normal human sized as well on land. But he would probably have a tail/ruffs

Why a Kraken?

Well, in mythology/folklore, Krakens are generally seen as destructive, sneaky, cunning…and Kyle’s main purpose in this AU is to speak out against these myths. He goes on land to try and convince people that maybe Krakens aren’t all that bad. They aren’t sneaky, they aren’t cunning, he’ll they don’t even destroy or devour ships (at least not on purpose.)(Wendy has a similar story because in canon she speaks out against unfair treatment, so I’m trying to have that be a. thing where she faces similar issues). And basically while on land, he has to hide the fact he’s a Kraken from the other creatures because it’s kinda welll known that Krakens are ‘dangerous’ and stuff. There are humans in this AU, but the kids are all mythical beings and such. There are a few humans though. Also I feel like vampire/dragon Kyle is overdone

As I start writing it will make more sense. But for now that’s all I’ve got? And I’ve seen some things that say like some headcanons/‘monster AUs’ tend to lean into anti demotic stereotypes and stuff? So if anyone sees this and thinks this is offensive or promoting stereotypes let me know, that’s the last thing I want. I don’t want my AU to reflect offensive things, so just let me know. Thanks!

The Mystical AU

My crossover AU is full of the mythical and the unknown. Here is an introduction.

Known Locations:

Frostwatch Village: Home to the Ice Fairies. The village is always snowing, and its architecture is that of ancient China. The Elders, Elver, Frostil, Mein, Lis and Tin (all original characters) are their only source of information. Lord Bi-Han rules with Kuai Liang as his second in command. The Lin Kuei are a guild of ice wielding fairy warriors, protecting the stone borders from danger. They don't like strangers and are weary of items from the outside. Frostwatch is located on a peak of a high mountain. Most don't know that Frostwatch exists. Outsiders can't enter unless they are asked to by The Lord or using force. The villagers can't leave once they go in.

Dewdrop Village: Home to the adorable Pixies. The villagers consist of South Park, Moral Orel, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. The village homes are little huts on trees. They befriend bugs as ladybugs (or ladybirds) are used as carriages, butterflies are used as messengers, spiders protect them from predators and pill bugs are house pets. 

The Woodland Village: Home to animals. The villagers consist of Happy Tree Friends and Oggy and the Cockroaches. The Happy Tree Friends villagers are fearful of strangers so they hide in their homes when a stranger visits. Not much else is known as The Traveler wasn't able to explore much before being kicked out. 

The Forest of Visions: It's an enchanted forest. Treading the soil is an action that is deemed dangerous as those that have gone in, never come out. The victim is lured in by a vision of the person they desire. They get told, "let's play hide and seek!" And they head into the forest, never to be seen again as they'll be playing an eternal game, until they can't anymore due to starvation or just plain tiredness. Or if they get hurt, the vision gets angry, and then there goes the life of the victim. They get sent to the brink of insanity, as they seek and the vision hides, as there are empty giggles and laughter everywhere. The vision leads them further into the forest. No one knows why. But people claim it's that of a god, a tormented sorcerer, or a vengeful spirit. Yet, this forest calls to those of Witches and Wizards, such as Stanley the Forest Witch (The Stanley Parable), as its flora are of great power. These enchanted flora are sought after ingredients for potions and rituals alike. Only those that wield magic can come out alive.

Other:

The Traveler: The Knight (Hollow Knight) travels from place to place, village to village, hoping to complete their map to help Cornifer as he has grown too old to continue. Clad in a cloak, a messenger bag, and their trusty nail at their side, they are determined to complete it, although they get hurt a lot. Hornet, their bounty hunter half sister, had told them to stop, but they kept going. They often point out to Hornet that her job is much more dangerous, calling her a hypocrite. They are well known. They write in a journal, talking about the villages they've visited.

The Reaper: Grim (from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) is still the grim reaper, but he is much more enhanced. He looks terrifying, but he is kind. He still wears a long and black robe. His hands are longer. He rides a horse, a horse that is inky black, with yellow glowing eyes. His scythe is longer and sharper. He has two forms, his normal and battle as some souls have to come down with a fight. Unfortunately for him, he had gotten the attention of two pixies that just refused to leave him alone.

south park au where like. idk. every fucking thing that ever happens is blamed on c!dream LMAO. c!tommy explodes half the school and c!dream is suspended. c!tubbo creates missiles and c!dream takes the fall. the whole school goes to war with The School Next Door (idk like fucking osmp or something) and c!dream is the only one to blame afterwards. he just takes the blame for everything dkfskdjfsd

also i like to imagine c!ranboo as a kind of kenny character?? but more background?? who just dies every single episode?? everyone remembers, too, but everyone just continues on like normal. one day c!ranboo doesn't die and everyone is like . this is really weird. and spend the rest of that season trying to kill him like usual

c!george is the mythical side-character student who is very rarely seen but is a fan favorite. he falls asleep in class and that's like. his only bit. but every so often he gets a whole episode dedicated to him and it's revealed he's genuinely superhuman and has the power to change the future in his dreams.

c!sam is a pretty normal character until one season he just decides that they have to KILL c!dream. for good. he's caused every bad thing in this town. we gotta kill him. and the whole season is c!sam attempting to kill c!dream, while the main four (idk. c!tommy, c!wilbur, c!techno, c!tubbo?????) debate if they should stop him. on one hand, c!dream is totally innocent (mostly). on the other, it's really fucking funny seeing him take the blame for THEIR crimes.

one season c!dream snaps. he decides to get total revenge. he instantly becomes the fans' most hated character for "taking things too far" (only slightly joking Lol)

c!quackity and c!schlatt are creek and it's the worst fucking relationship in the whole world but the only true representation of queer characters the show has so fans have to like them. they get fucking butchered as characters KSBDKJFSK

been thinking a lot about kraken kyle

i do have a drawing in the works but in my au it’s kinda like the movie luca? where he’s able to turn semi human, just has to hide the tail and ruff, which he can do, but it’s difficult

i also feel like when he gets mad, that’s when the kraken size comes into play, whether he’s human or not. and he’s more prone to changing when he’s close to water

now krakens are gigantic. they’re big enough to devour ships whole without a single thought. and this isn’t really…accepted in the land above water. so he’s suppressing himself until one day, everything just comes out, and he blows up.
