In many ways, twilight and south park are pretty much the same.

you got the dad with a big, black mustache, the cold weather, the rivalry between two teams (team Stan’s gang/team Edward and team Craig and those guys/team Jacob) and also

I present: Kitty Park

Or, Xicrion watched too much South Park and Moonkitti content, then read Running Up That Hill by @runtwithwolves and got inspired (read the fic it’s so good!) so I made Moonkitti style cat sprites for Stan’s Gang (+Butters and Runtwithwolves’ New Kid)

Description and thought process + Cannon Stan’s Gang (Eric Cartman replaces Butters and New Kid) under the cut!

Stan is a plain black cat (Randy) and sandy tabby mix(Sharon)-keeping with the relatability and “Everyman” aspects of his character, while also giving him some distinguishable fur features and design personality. Boi is a lot stronger than he looks

Kyle is a mix of fluffy russet longhair (Sheila) and spotted housecat (Gerald), Ike being a lynx (representing how different Canadians are in the show while still sharing a species). Kyle HATES being a fluffy longhair, which is why his design was also based off Moonkitti’s Hollyleaf sprite, as his fur gives him a general saltiness about everything. Do not be fooled, he’s quite muscular under all that fur.

New Kid is a white splotched black housecat, trying to fit with his more “blend in when I can” vibe I picked up from his human design. My personal New Kid kitty design has an hourglass marking on his chest, so every New Kitty I make is going to have one until the end of time- as the one thing that ties every New Kid together is time manipulation

Kenny is a Rosette tabby born from two tabby street cats (hence the lack of collar), keeping with the theme of Kenny sticking out like a sore thumb among his family. He also gets the most complex design because Kenny deserves something nice every once in a while. Kenny’s family probably would be better off as street cats TBH-they don’t have to cook food and can just eat the rats that keep showing up in their house-so he’s also quite a buff kitty

Butters is a pale yellow shorthair from two shorthairs-taking after his mother with a few darker splotches from his father. An eye scar is much less uncommon among cats so there’s no reason not to show it, though he still got it from a ninja star. He’s more plain and has a bell because he’s a sweet baby who deserves nice things.

Everyone but Kenny has collars because Kenny is poor and South Park is still civilized.

Finally, here’s the Cannon sprite group:

Cartman is a fat fuck tabby with heterochromia-in case anyone forgot, he’s stolen at least one of Kenny’s eyes at some point. He has no poofball on his collar because Cartman sucks and deserves nothing nice. He’s so fat Kyle can’t kill him with his claws even if he tried-which will frustrate him until the end of time

I may post dumb shit with these kitty sprites posed in funny situations in the future, but for now enjoy perhaps the only time I will ever include Eric Cartman in anything I make
