The forthcoming Chapter 10 of Only Creatures is a beast in so many ways. Here is a mere one of those ways...

Once he finishes me off, he proudly sits back on his heels and picks a pubic hair out of his teeth.  “I’ll do something about that,” I mutter, embarrassed.  “What?” He examines the hair stuck to his finger and flicks it away.  I gesture at the nest between my legs.  When Simon cottons on, he looks horrified. “No!”  “Why, in the name of magic, would you not want me to trim, Snow?”  He shakes his head vigorously, curls going every which way. “It’s like a little animal that smells like you, and I can nuzzle it, and you’re all soft and hidden, and then you get hard and emerge from your habitat.”  I stare at him. “You’re disturbed.”  “No, I’m not. You are.”  I can’t argue with that.

I think its unfair to Baz's fangs that we all petitioned and agreed for Spadey to have his own name and fame and proper acknowledgement of being a third party in their relationship while the fangs, Simon's favorite part of Baz (definitely a kink) are left in shadows.

We need to give the fangs identity! (Hopefully before Baz's birthday) (so you know, the identified!fangs could participate in erotic gropfest 2k23 and other upcoming CO events) Please put your tots in the tags!!!

Another interesting thing about Spadey

They hold back abstracted characters if Caine is busy.

They don't have the same access to the basement like Caine, so they just hold the characters while he arrives.

They're much stronger than they look.

♠ He has a lot of spade shaped ornament on his outfit which emphasizes his name, he even have a spade shaped motif on his eyes

♠ He often zones out and easily distracted.

♠Often perform dangerous tricks which often puts his life in danger but he manage to survive, even Pomni questions about it everyday.

♠ He often use Kinger for some of his magic trick that includes dangerous objects like sawing box in half or throwing daggers.

♠Despite being a magician, Spadey can perform on trapeze as well, though sometimes he ended up broke one of his wings because he using trapeze for his other magic performance.

♠ He loves throwing daggers.

♠ His most favorite magic trick is swallowing swords and handekerchiefs into his mouth, escaping from tank, card tricks and fire breathing.

♠ Spadey dislikes Jax for his jokes, but he often asked him to be his assitant.

Summary:

Simon and Baz are having trouble finding a sex position that's comfortable, given the bulk of Simon's pregnant belly. Spadey has an idea. Niamh has to help save our heroes from Spadey's idea.

Niamh-Present

Simon Snow’s face looks about as sheepish as his half-draconic features can get. He’s standing anxiously by the exam table. He can’t sit, because his husband is lying in a fetal position on the table, taking up the available room. And he can’t sit because his tail is drawn taut, stretching from its attachment point between his L3 and L4 vertebrae. Stretching across the base of the exam table. Stretching and disappearing behind Basilton’s thighs.

I’m sure Basilton would look sheepish too, if his face weren’t twisted into a grimace of discomfort right now.

This has got to be the stupidest reason to have to see a doctor I’ve ever heard of.

Remember, Simon? I want to say. We’ve been here before. We’ve done this. You can do it again.  He seems glassy and loose from his performance, and he touches my beard.  “It looks… Did you…?”  “I went to a barbershop.”  That is an understatement. I paid an absurd amount of money to have a man in a very dapper hat address my “beard goals,” ponder the shape of my jaw, offer me a complimentary glass of whiskey, trim and perform a “complete conditioning of the beard,” wrap my face in a hot towel, and then sell me something called “beard oil,” which smells faintly of oranges.

Happy happy disability pride month to my fellow disabled folks! Since it's disability pride month, I figured I'd take the opportunity to flaunt my cane! (All sticker credits are under the cut.)

No one in my household knows about my cane--they give me enough shit for being disabled as it is--so I'm going to be proud online :D

I had to buy a cheap one off Amazon because I'm a broke teenager with no job, but it works well for me! I absolutely love my cane--it is so handy, and has saved me from many a bad flareup while out shopping. I can stay out longer without worrying so much about my knee, which is frankly amazing. I'm so happy I can do that now.

I fucking adore stickers, I have quite a few on my laptop and water bottle, and had so much fun putting them all on my cane. (What you see on my cane barely scratches the surface of the sheer number of stickers I have.) I had so much fun putting my personality onto my cane with stickers and crochet.

My doctor and I still don't know what's going on with my knee, and she advised going to an orthopedic, so that's our next step. Hopefully we can get some answers as to why my joints are fucked up.

I'm also disabled in other way besides chronic knee pain--chronic migraines, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, chronic hand pain from an injury. I wear prescription sunglasses to help with the migraines and sensory issues!
