A sneak peek to the past. WIP.

A ten-year-old Noelle had just finished her almost-daily bike ride from Lumiose to the neighboring city—it was one of her favorite parts of the day now that she couldn’t spend as much time with Lem.

To go visit him in his school

Her little legs were a bit tired, but it was worth it.

Now that her best friend had to leave to study who-knows-what, she had no one to spend the day with. So she spent most afternoons helping her mother cook or watching TV.

It was amazing to see who was competing to become the Queen of Kalos, and she couldn’t stop imagining what it would be like when she was old enough to compete herself.

But she still missed him.

She didn’t like that he had so many responsibilities already. He seemed like such a grown-up with everything he had to do! He was barely older than her—just one year. And if all of it already seemed like a lot to her, she couldn’t even imagine how the poor blond boy felt.

She had made him promise a few weeks ago, as they sat having their afternoon snack on a balcony of the tower.

The crêpes had been gone for a while, and only that last sip of tea was left in their cups—the one neither of them liked.

“Look, the moon is out! But it’s still daytime!” the dark-haired girl pointed out, as if it were the most amazing thing in the world.

How could the moon be out if it was daytime? That was magic!

There was no answer as the last lemon cookie met its sour end.

The boy’s face grew a little sadder.

The blond boy had been down all day. Even his baby sister, despite being so little, had been running around him trying to get him to play, as if she somehow knew.

“Now that you have to go study…”

“I want you to promise me we’ll keep talking,” she said as she wiped away a small smear of cream in his face and let out a little giggle. “I don’t want us to stop seeing each other.”

That sadness faded as he heard her words. That just motivaded her more "Pinki promise?"

Both kids extended their hands and pinky swore. His eyes a little bit brigther, her smile a little relieved

It was the first he talked in ten solid minites "Definitely." He made a pause to look at her in the eyes "Please"

As I said, Noelle was from lumiose, and there, she was friends whit Lem! (Clemont)

Their families were friends and they grew up together until Kalos was threatened and she had to escape.

But that doesnt mean she doesnt tressure him and wishes he is okay. This is a sigth to that past

I am planing an AU where she stayed/ Zygarde and team flare didnt attack and they end up falling in love and being another ship.

I don't mean to rush you at all, but I was wondering what the status is for a new chapter of to know to want or even tbhtbh? I really love your writing, and it's been my Roman empire for the past 2 years lmao. Every post you make makes my day. Also, I don't remember if it was ever acknowledged in your fics, but what exactly is the nature of valtor and griffins relationship? I, for one, would love to see more of griffins reaction to sparkshipping lol. It would be comical. Thanks 😊

Oooooh Griffin is an all time favorite of mine, and I will NEVER forgive WinxClub for dropping this tidbit of her past with Valtor and then never expanding on it. And I actually have no consistent answer what the relationship between them could have looked like, it changes with the weather for me. I know popular canon is that they were a couple for a while, and I can definitely see that. I do think I would prefer it if they were genuinely just friends though, because Valtor is big on using other people's attraction to him to manipulate them, and him and Griffin being platonic would add a tragic layer of genuineness in my opinion. Make that eventual betrayal hit all the harder. Doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have hooked up a couple times tho, just for the heck of it.

And you're not rushing at all, don’t worry! I know I've been dragging my feet for these last few chapters, and I can already tell it’s gonna stay that way for the next ones too in all likelihood, but I am still working on it.

Current prediction is that I’ll have it done around Christmas — unless Donald Trump gets elected president. In that case I will move into the woods and delete my ao3 account, leaving all my fics unfinished and tbhtbh forever trapped in this transitional state of angst and never tied-up loose ends. Also, I will make Sky x Bloom the final pairing. Also, I will kill off Darcy.

sparkshipping headcanons?

Yesssss i will take any excuse to talk about them

Ray's love language is physical touch. This is great for Wu, who never realised how touch-starved he was til now. Lots of hugs, shoulder touches just because... Ray just likes to Hold people (just look at him with Maya in the show 🥺), which suits Wu perfectly when he comes to realise he likes being held

Another reason he likes being held by Ray? Well, as the Master of Fire, Ray has a higher than average body temperature. He's pretty much always warm, like a human heater. Being part dragon (yknow. Reptiles.), Wu is pretty sensitive to the cold. And he LOVES heat. Hugging or being hugged by Ray at night, feeling that warmth, probably also helps him sleep. (Wu is a bit of an insomniac and also wakes easily)

This is probably how Ray fount out... Wu purrs. Wu is embarrassed as hell by it, but Ray adores it. He thinks its wonderful.

He thinks lots of things about Wu are wonderful, and has made it his mission to try and get Wu to see how wonderful he is; to raise his self esteem; to help him feel good about himself. He'll try and cheer him up when he's down (that's my theory behind this picture XD)

On the flipside, Ray has always had a bit of anxiety (idk man something about him just gives me anxiety vibes. ...also adhd for reasons I can't quite explain.) Wu's been there, and is great at grounding him, calming him down or keeping him calm. This was especially helpful during the war, which was the biggest thing Ray had ever dealt with. And when they found out Ignacia had been attacked by a rogue group of Anacondrai; he feared the worst for his mother.

Theyre just. Both always supporting and uplifting each other

Wu is ace (you can't prove me wrong. That is the asexualest man to ever exist. He just gives me ace vibes.). He's also a bit iffy on kisses, especially the more. intense. ones. Ray doesn't have a problem with it at all, he's more than happy to just hug Wu. He's learnt he likes small kisses/pecks though, so Ray will often give him those. Ray appreciates it very much if Wu gives him a kiss. Probably has a big goofy grin, which Wu loves.

Wu is easily flustered/blushes heavily. Ray thinks its cute.

Ray likes to be the little spoon. As much as he likes to hold, he also likes to be held.

This probably looks a little silly, as he is very tall and Wu is very short. (Goldsmith height chart for vague reference)

Due to being part Oni, Wu's hair (and by extension, Lloyd's and Garmadon's) is quite floofy and soft. Ray loves playing with it.

This one's a bit silly but. It never really dawned on Ray that, being a lifelong martial artist, Wu is quite fit, and a bit muscular. First time Ray ever saw, he was just 😳 dgkdgisgj

Ray is someone Wu feels 100% comfortable showing his goofy side. Ray probably encourages it and matches it. Ray and Wu are both relatively smart men. However. Sometimes... it seems all their braincells disappear. Around anyone else, Wu would feel rather embarrassed.
