for a while after finding out I was otherkin, I was a incubus alongside a dog and weird ooze thing but that part of me faded away eventually. It's back now though. feels weird.

Speciesfluid and speciesflux flags that aren't based off the transspecies flags because these labels were coined as an all alterbeing ones, and as a transspecies system we are not comfortable with the usage of transspecies specific symbolism being used for stuff that isn't explicitly a transspecies term/flag. This is still inclusive of fluid/flux transspecies though!

Speciesfluid is defined as being fluid between alterbeing identity/identities, and Speciesflux is defined as being flux between alterbeing identity/identities.

Is it okay if I ask what being transpecies is? If you aren’t comfortable talking about it just ignore this. I’m not sure what it is so I want to hear it from someone who is transpecies so I don’t have the wrong information. :)

I identify as non-human species. I personally also still identify with my humanity so I generally prefer demihuman or speciesfluid but transspecies is catchier/more known so I use it sometimes too

did we gut an older unused sideblog just to have a more organized place for our flags? yeah.

also we find it extremely uncomfortable how the speciesfluid & speciesflux flags from 2019 use the transspecies flags as a base palette despite these terms being general alterbeing terms. like transspecies isn't synonymous with the overall alterbeing definition and some tspecies folk don't even consider themselves to be apart of that community.

so we're making speciesfluid & speciesflux flags that are NOT based off a more specific term. feeling really uncomfortable with the older flags as a transspecies system ngl
