Este es mi inicio en Tumblr. Mi actividad acá no será muy frecuente, pero si iré subiendo alguna cosa.

De hecho, estoy posteando esto desde un iPod Touch de 4ta Generación (2012). ¿Qué épico, verdad? Será de esta manera que publicare todos mis posts en esta plataforma.

Spectron Longplay (ColecoVision Game) - Skill: 1 - Warning: Contains Flashing Lights! Always been a big fan of this obscure, but great (and very, very challenging) space shooter. That's why I'm going to play it on every Skill. For those who's never heard of Spectron, I'd say it's a blend of Space Invaders, Galaxian and Centipede (yeah Centipede, you didn't misread it, play to believe).

I just realized that I forgot to post this. Whoops.

Anyway, check it out! Every JD3 coach, plus some bonuses at the end!

This game was much more difficult to complete than JD1 was. JD3 is where I feel like they really started to go all out with coach designs, which is cool, but creates more work for me. Nevertheless, I like a challenge.

JD3 holds a special place in my heart, because it was technically the first mainline Just Dance game I ever played. (If we’re counting spinoffs, then Just Dance Kids was my first game.) I played it at a birthday party, and I fell in love with it. I can’t remember whether my first ever song was Night Boat To Cairo, California Gurls, or Somethin’ Stupid, but I vividly remember playing those three at the party, so they all share the title of “my first JD song ever”. I wouldn’t get my first (mainline) JD game to call my own until several years later, when I got JD17. But that’s a story for when I finish that game!

My favorite routine from this game is probably… Pump It? I don’t know. There’s so many good ones. But my favorite coaches to make from this game were the Spectronizer coaches. I feel like it really paid off to make both their civilian and superhero forms—they turned out great! They also struck the perfect balance of being difficult while not feeling impossible.

As for the next game I’m going to try to finish— I’m pretty far on JD4 and JD14. There’s also two of my favorites, JD17 and JD22. I could also try to finish up JD2 to fill up the gap between JD1 and JD3. I don’t really have a set direction. I guess we’ll see!

I have a very weird question to ask. For the 33rd anniversary of super sentai, just dance did a special crossover with a song called Spectronizer. This is the only power ranger/sentai just dance media they’ve done so far, and I was curious if you could tell if they’re a real Sentai team or one made for the game?

I think you posted images of suits that looked similar a few days ago as well-at least the pink suit-so it makes me extra curious

They are original to the game 😌 pink definitly has that bio/change/flashman silhouette tho, with the rounder helmet + swim suit style legs (the stripe down the centre of the helmet is in particular very changeman)

Gave the song a listen and its heavily riffing off the bioman theme song, was almost hard not to sing along with BAAAATA BIO lmao its very cute

Darkest hour got me thinking about Sugar Dance and i fell down a rabbit hole of looking through the song credits in game. So heres some unortganised thoughts

Turns out Sugar Dance is not written or produced by the same guy as Darkest hour. Darkest hour was written by Jessi Collins Tom Salta and Emily Sanderson whilst Sugar Dance was produced and composed by J.D LeBlanc for Apollo Studios (Although it is still published by Ubisoft).

Going back up to Darkest Hour, Tom Salta is credited on the following songs as either a writer or producer (or both) alongside other writers:

All you gotta do (with Benjamin Samana)

All three Wanko Ni Mero Mero songs (with Reni Mimura)

Cosmic Party and Dagomba (as the sole producer)

Darkest Hour as stated above (with Jessi Collins and Emily Sanderson)

Drop the mambo (with Nikki Leonti, Letty Rivera and Angela Clemmons

Leila (with MC Rai and Basar Under)

Spectronizer (With Gomi Kazuhiko)

I thought that Darkest hour and All you gotta do were lyrically similar so it makes sense that its the same guy on both tracks, but I'm more surprised that Sugar dance wasn't worked on by Salta. In fact Sugar Dance is seemingly the only song that Leblanc has worked on as suggested by his Genius page. I cant find anything on Apollo studios in relation to Ubisoft either.

Its strange because Sugar Dance and All you gotta do sound similar in the sense of their lyrics being about continuing to dance, and it would make sense for them to be made by similar people.

Sugar Dance is just a strange and somewhat forgettable song, and it doesnt help that it was locked behind a code and All you gotta do was like the main song for the game up until Paca Dance in JD 2021

Paca dance was also not worked on by either Salta or Leblanc instead being worked on by a different set of people, and it is also lyrically similar.

All these songs have a similar style in the sense that they have some weird lyrics at times, like "Just heat it up and push it to the ground". I'd say that All you gotta do is the most cohesive of these songs and thn Darkest hour and Drop the mambo are tied for a close second. I never played Leila or spectronizer that much (I first played leila like last year) so i can't really comment on them. And then Oishii Oishii has that one part where it just goes "You are sweet monster!" whilst a picture of broccoli is i the background. When you think of it the reason a lot of the lyrics are like this is because of the French.

Another weird thing is that you'd also expect If you wanna party to also be written as the same people who worked on All you gotta do but surprisingly it isn't.

This is so unorganised but i just got bored and looked at the game credits. I mean its how i learnt that Jason Derulo's full name is Jason Joel Desrouleaux.

insomnia may be strong but i'm stronger. so here are the Just Dane dances and coaches i'm assigning to my rhythm heaven scrunklies because nobody asked but i want to post this anyways for science purposes

starting with the holy lemon, DJ Yellow:

definitely, his favourite dances are the three hatsune miku ones, but besides that, he's probably going with a good old jason derulo dance or Get Ugly, as his first option to warm up. Circus extreme version, Hey Mama and Daddy are probably his next options

now, a coach thats perfect for him is P3 from All About Us in JD17

they radiate they/them queer vibes AND the colours are literally Yellow idc hes dressing with those colours and slaying in the process

for Blue i'll go with something more simple, but at the same time groovy. and whats more groovy that Groove by Jack & Jack

he's not the one that likes to play JD, but he enjoys watching the videos like a toddler watching five little monkies jumping on the bed. Groove is the only one that he might dance. but other songs he enjoys are Rave in the Grave, Tumbum, Leila, Instruction, Spectronizer and Built For This, all because of the colours

and the coach i'm assigning is the Instruction teacher from JD18

the colours are vibrant, and the clothing quite simple but attractive. perfect for an artist's eye like Blue's

did you know JD added Bring Me To Life to one of the latest games? i literally just found out while playing JDNow lol. definitely his favourite to dance with Cecil, even if the move in "Save me!" is impossible for them two. theeeey need a bit more of movement

J.J would also like whatever avril lavigne song there is in the game. idk if theres more, but Girlfriend is his jam so don't bother him for the next 3 minutes while he dances

for the coach, i mean literally Blake and Liv from the BMTL fit him. you tell me why

just like me, Cecil can't let go of his childhood favourite song, and that's Spectronizer. little Cecil would enjoy jumping around pretending to be a power ranger or something. and his favourire coach is the one i am assigning to him

with Connie i have a problem called "she fits most of the songs i like so this is going to be endless". but i am mainly assigning Tumbum for the second coach and her "protagonist" role, Smile by IOWA for the clothing and energy, and Adeyyo for the clothing aswell. literally all outfits from these would look good on her-

but here are two specific coaches that are literally her

the Smile coach is literally her but in purple and blue, and the Adeyyo coach because IH MY GOD... /pos

Jenna is simple. she also loves miku, one of the favourite songs is Love Ward, its on JD18, so what else could she ask for?

Debbie is the kind that dances to everything she possibly can, and enjoys it more when its some stupid dance like Daddy, Dragostea Din Tei, Juju on The Beat, Sayonara, Chiwawa... i could go on. she also enjoys overly happy or active coaches, always being the first one to get a star and the crown

theres no other coach more perfect for her than Suzuka from Atarashii Gakko

Christmas' over, that means that Halloween is near for Mako. she adores all Halloween related dances; Ghost In The Keys, Time Warp, Rave In The Grave, Magic Halloween, you name it and she loves it, having a specific coach she always wants to be

but her favourite coach and therefore the one i am assigning is the Magic Halloween witch

also the colours are some i believe she would use for a Halloween outfit, and she loves stars so the skirt was what got her for sure

surprisingly, So'ra can stand up from that pink car and can also dance. she likes something... uh. i. dont know the exact word. but not so much to follow, or maybe a lot but the background helps and doesnt makes it hard. Hey Mama, Black Widow, Circus extreme version, Gibberish and others, in that order, is her dance list

the coach i decide to assign is the Black Widow

the dance gives a bit mysterious vibe, and the moves are fast enough to be in perfect sync with the beat. its perfect

do you ever wonder if someone could have some sort of crush in a JD coach? ask Peach, as she fell in love with the P2 in Tumbum. its not that in assigning her to Peach, but rather making a connection?

shes like Blue, watches JD dances like a visual stimulation thingie. and when she watched Tumbum, inmediatly focused on the P2. how. i mean, you cant see their faces yet. oh well-

Your Honest Opinion Ask: Which team is the blandest or mismatched?

Ohhh I’m going to get shit for this. Ok so for tangential related franchises it’s Just Dance

Nothings been done with them. Not even a follow up with the 30th anniversary for power rangers. Bland for the sheer fact there’s never been a follow up. We don’t even know their names.

Most bland/mismatched tv show team:

It’s Dino Thunder. I’m sorry. It’s a chore for me to sit through the episodes. None of them ever convinced me they were friends. IRL they wouldn’t talk to each other. These people only get along because nobody else at school is eating lunch with them.

Blandest is probably Turbo before TJ was red. Then in Space after TJ went Blue. I can barely remember any interesting episodes. I mean I like em fine but there’s barely an impression on me. Wish there was more of an impact because I wanna like it but…no
