Miles calls Miguel Tio right when he meets him. It’s not reciprocated explicitly but who fuckin know what’s happenin in 2099’s head.

We all know that Tio means Uncle.

It would be sickening to have Miguel somehow be related to Mile’s canon event as an Uncle Ben moment.

So, you're me, and you're watching spiderverse. And Jessica Drew gets slammed and attached to a moving bus. Your brain goes "Oh, no! The baby!" But you look at her and realize "wait she isn't pregnant anymore. Her baby hasn't been mentioned since the very first scene with her. did she lose the baby?" And then it makes sense. Jessica had a change in attitude between her first scene and the rest of the movie.

I think Miguel's hiding something about what he did in the universe with his 'perfect family', something's just off. Like, it doesn't make sense to me how the WHOLE UNIVERSE dissolved because he replaced himself, and Miles' universe is still intact! If Miles is such a massive anomaly (which if peter was supposed to live longer and Miles was supposed to be the PROWLER instead he would be) then why is his universe still intact?

Now I don't think Miguel's doing it on purpose, I think theres like alot of cognitive dissonance going on and he truly thinks hes doing whats right, and hasn't put the pieces together for himself. But I also believe one of the reasons he's ripping into Miles is because he's greiving the loss of Peter

Edit: I just thought about this: If Peter B only had a baby because of Miles wouldn't that make Mayday an anomaly as well?? If so why is Peter B's univers still intact??

My predictions for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (so heads up for spoilers for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse)

1. Spots-McGee will be defeated via undoing whatever the collider did to him in the first place

2. Miles will tell his parents that he’s Spider-Man

3. Earth 42 will get their own non-powered Spider-Man (either Prowler Miles, a Peter, or even a Gwen)

4.  Miguel will get an attempted redemption arc where he allows Miles to save his dad after some flashback or reference to his dead daughter

5. Gwen’s arc will end with her referring to Miles’ parents as Mrs and Captain Morales, solidifying her into a good ‘friend’ (wink wink nudge nudge) for Miles

6. Mayday’s first word will be “fuck”, bumping the movie to a PG-13 rating

ok i havent seen nearly enough people talk about the differences in 42’s art style and our miles’s art style.

in the other universes, the difference is pretty in your face. the streaky paint and colors of gwen’s world or the black and white of noir’s are cool. but i love a good subtle difference!!

so both miles universes have the same kind of comic book lineart added to bits of his model to give it a comic look (which i love) but the coolest part is that our miles has dots, a round shape to give the feeling of shading, but less harsh and more friendly

however Prowler Miles has sharp lines. it just goes back to shape theory and how much goddamn attention was but into this beautiful movie im still not kidding it altered the way i make art
