Last week I wrote 3,068 words for Spiritwell’s second draft, but that’s become kind of irrelevant now because I’m changing my idea AGAIN.

I’ve decided to actually go back and edit the first draft and try to shape that one into the second draft, rather than completely rewriting it. Because as much as I’m not a big fan of it, there is still some good stuff in there and it’ll be so much easier to develop the story this way. I think.

Well anyways so far I’ve done the first page out of 130 pages so we could be here a while…

I’ve also started working on an outline for another project, still undecided on a name but it’s currently Pitless/Bloodfire. I think Bloodfire sounds cooler so I’ll probably stick with that. Anyway yeah that’s something I made progress on this week aswell.

Remus Alberto is the eldest of the two twins within this tale. They are a chaotic soul, never one to do as society demands of him. He couldn't care any more about what others think of him. He's comfortable as who they are as a person. He believes there is more to the forest around the town, a hidden secret that he thirsts to explore with his light, Roman Alberto.

Remus is a spirit of chaos. They never follow the rules unless it suits himself and his motives. He despises those who dictate and control others, marking them as a threat to many. They are unpredictable, changing tactics and ideas in the very middle of situations. He feeds off the chaos around him and is free to carry out his own motives. 

Remus has a very strong moral code but it is of his own creation over what society dictates. This can lead to them changing sides if the souls he was with crossed his morals.

Abilities:

Is multilingual in Spanish, English, and Latin

Has incredible knowledge about the supernatural, especially Demonology

An excellent boxer/kickboxer

Knows how to use blunt force weapons

Brilliant at coming up with things on the spot with items around him

Backstory:

Remus Alberto was born with his twin on the 4th of June to Mr and Mrs Alberto. Not much happened during his first few years of life. At the age of 5, Remus and his family moved to Pumpkin Falls, which had the doctors that his family needed. Around the age of 10, Remus developed blank spots within his memories of that year. It was also the year that his intrusive thoughts started. During his early teen years, Remus was bullied which led to fights at school. He snuck out of home, did graffiti art on some walls and got into the supernatural despite his parents protested. Remus's activities lead to him fighting with his parents a lot, slowly breaking apart their relationship. They never tried to help with his thoughts or help him. Remus only ever had Roman.

At 16, the Twins came out to their parents, excited to show themselves. Their parents were mortified and yelled at the two, believing they were doing evil. They called a priest from out of town to help the Twins get onto the right path. The priest harmed the two, especially Roman. After a few months, Remus snapped after something happened with Roman and assaulted the priest till he was barely conscious. Mrs Alberto was apoled and tried to get Remus to stop, only to be punched as well. Remus and the couple fought, leading to Remus and Roman being disowned. The couple abandoned the Twins, leaving for Mexico. Remus couldn't let their brother become homeless, so he dropped out of school so he could work. Remus ended up with 3 jobs to keep a roof over his brother's head. They didn't care about themself, but Roman was everything to him. Remus constantly struggles with work, mental health and his bad habits, yet he is content with their life.

Miscellaneous:

The Spanish last name ‘Alberto’ means ‘noble’ or ‘bright’ (The Author is not a Spanish speaker and has received help from a friend who does speak Spanish.)

Remus works three jobs; In the mornings, he works at the local cafe, cleaning and serving customers. In the evening, he'd work at the 24/7 grocery store, stocking shelves and cleaning things up. During weekends, Remus sometimes works at Hallows Eve Villa, which he normally does with Roman.

Hello Travelers and Readers Mx Brightness here and I have some unfortunate news to give

Unfortunately Mx Spiritwell is having personal problems currently and so it is very difficult for faem to balance that and posting regularly at the same time and as the holder of this page of tales they feel quite a bit of pressure to give out tales for you all and the guilt of having nothing out is getting to them. So we are taking a step back to focus on what needs to be done now and will put out what we have at a later date whenever we can

This is part of why we haven't given anything for so long and we deeply apologize for that but once again we are the authors are still human just like you. So while we will do our best to give you all what we can we will also focus on giving it to you all when we can even if the space is far apart

Be assured that we have not given up. Things are just difficult right and we would like to let you all know so that there is no disappointment in our absence

My main writing project, Spiritwell, has suddenly massively expanded in scope and it might even be too ambitious for me right now.

Because of this I’ll probably work on it on the side with another project as my primary focus because otherwise I won’t finish my first book for years.

Spiritwell is one of those projects that I know I’ll never stop coming back to and will finish one day. It’s the first project that I finished a first draft for and I’ve been stuck with it for what, 3 years now? Probably even more than that. But I haven’t worked on it for all those three years, there were points where I decided to give up on the project, for whatever reason. But I always came crawling back. So while I have had the project going for that long I haven’t been consistently writing or outlining it.

I might even make a post one day detailing the history of this project because it’s been through so many changes and developments, but I’ll probably do that closer to the finish line.

Anyway what was my point? Yes, I’ve had a new idea and it’s massive and I might change my mind about it but for now I’ll give it a go and try not to put too much pressure on myself to make it perfect.
