I really think there needs to be a new wave if people who watch Supernatural. Like a new "generation" or people.

I mean old fans are valid for sure, but yall got so fucked up over decades long bullshitery and queerbaiting that you dont have some conversations about this show that would be important (at least imo)

Bc i keep looking for certain fandiscussions about certain topics in this show, and i cant find them. All i find is destiel angst, thirsttrap gifsets and winchest posting.

Bc i want talk about the symolism, the way it centers family and brotherly relationships instead of romantic ones, ect, but i feel like i dont have ppl here who would want to talk about it.

I mean I love seeing what im already seeing, but i just think this place needs a bit of refreshment. New blood if you will. And i just really want to talk about simbolism pls-

Obsessed with the sudden shift in Cas' willingness to say insane romantic shit to dean in season 8. A couple of seasons ago, he would tell dean that they had a profound bond to his face. That everything he did, he did for Dean. Now? He's hesitating. He clenches his fists to avoid hugging Dean back in purgatory. He stutters and looks away before saying he stayed away from Dean to protect him. When asked what broke through heaven's brainwashing, he looks away and says he doesn't know. It's so interesting to me

listen i've accepted dean winchester sleeping fully clothed and occasionally wearing shoes on top the covers for six seasons now as a fact of the hunting life and possibly symbolic of his constant existence in a state of Fight but I just watched s6 ep8 and dean (who has just woken up on top the covers wearing JEANS) tells sam to "let him get dressed first" DRESSED??? IN WHAT??? YOUR OTHER JEANS???

Every character on SPN: dean is a complicated man. He’s got issues. You never know what he’s thinking or feeling.

Cas: has him figured out in 0.05 secs and manipulating him accordingly

You know what’s absolutely crazy to me, that one scene from season 8, where Cas leaving Dean was so traumatic that his brain repressed it and rewrote it to Dean being unable to grab him. That is crazy to me, because nowhere else in the show does Dean’s brain do this. Nothing else he experiences is so awful that his brain rewrites it. Not the 40 goddamn years in hell, not his brother dying, not his mom burning on the ceiling, not his dad or Bobby dying, not everyone he loves being possessed; no it was Cas choosing to leave him that pushed Dean too far. The show never gave Dean a love interest again, and then supernatural has the gaul, after all that homoeroticism, to this day claim Dean Winchester is straight.
