I’m a multiple paragraphs/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together. Not every reply has to be novella length, however. If there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going. 

I only do MxF (with me writing the female role). I don’t double, but I’m more than happy to write side characters of either gender to help move the story along. I only want female authors writing male characters as I’m uncomfortable with male authors. (Nonbinary pals are an exception).

I'm really hoping to find a friendship, someone who can add to our story, and most importantly, someone who wants a long-term connection. It's difficult for me to write with someone if I don't feel that genuine bond. It's also important to me to have a high level of activity, with at least one reply a day. 

If you suddenly stop replying ic and ooc, I'll drop the story after 2 attempts of gauging interest spaced a week apart. But feel free to message me if you want to pick the story back up again, even months later.

Plot before smut. While mature themes will be in my writing, there needs to be chemistry between our characters. I normally do a 60/40 plot to smut ratio and my characters tend to be subs/switches depending on the circumstances 

 An older male character (early forties to mid-late fifties). I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts who secretly have a soft heart. I also love grumpy, hypermasculine men being intimidated by sweet but fiery women. My characters are mid-late twenties to early-mid thirties so the age gap is legal. 

I'm not looking for age play. It's a romance between two consenting adults who each act exactly their age, and they just happen to be different ages. 

Enthusiasm to chat about our character and ship, how to crush them and then gushing over fluffy moments. I love crying over characters and what the heck they’re doing. I want my heart ripped from my chest from angst, then feeling like it’s going to burst from overwhelming cuteness. I want us to love these characters and the world we create. I want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, graphics, and toss headcanons back and forth until late at night. 

Have an idea for a scene? Found a picture that inspired you? Send it to me! Be invested when it comes to plotting/worldbuilding. There’s nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says “sure” to whatever I ask. Building ideas one on top of the other, watching them snowball into amazing plot threads brings me joy. But having to pull plot ideas like I’m pulling teeth makes me think you’re not interested, and I will lose interest in return.

Why leave?

I see him when I go into town. 

He calls me home, where the forest is slowly swallowing my little home, wall by wall tightly in its branches. 

In flashes of the rearview mirror, he’s there- dark and sharp- asking why I’m leaving the safety provided by shady trees and grassy hills.

In a general store, he lurks behind shelves of dry goods or peers over dusty cardboard displays. 

Has he always been so thin and tall? I rub my eyes, unsure if he's man or monster.

He slowly inches a can of peas off the shelf until it drops to the floor. I jump at the sound. Dented, it rolls to my feet as strangers’ eyes turn to me in suspicion. I can’t face them- can’t break his stare.

The message is clear- Stay home. Stay in the forest. 

His thoughts are inside me as I walk down the sidewalk. They're pulsing. Get away from these people. Their cars, their footsteps, their voices. Get back to the trees. 

While he strikes fear into me, it’s comforting, too. Why leave?

Gray clouds seem to be permanently sunken into the sky above Hackenwoods, Illinois, and they come with the feeling there's something rotting inside of you. Or maybe, something rotten.

No one visits here. In fact, I'm pretty sure no one wants to be here. Missing people posters litter the street posts in this small town of less than 6k, and if you're wrestling with the paranoia that something bad is going to happen, you're probably right. For some inexplicable reason, we just are here. And, for some even more inexplicable, insane reason, it's home.

Situated in a perfect location with a bridge linking to the mainland, it is a separate island in Massachusetts, United States.

Maple Creek was once a major whaling port, with historic houses that have been carefully preserved. The island was once uninhabited but after being settled on became urbanised and built-up and is now the go to spot to feel far away from real life but close enough to return.

Separated from the mainland, Maple Creek boasts plentiful community spirit with markets, handmade crafts, a variety of local food places and providing secluded tourist spots to get the feel of the wilderness. Set up your tent and hang out with friends. Many of the local teens of Maple Creek help out at tourist destinations during the Summer. It is the perfect opportunity to get a paid vacation. They work during the day and spend their free time having fun in front of the campfire or swimming in the water.

you know what they say about small towns. eerie, spooky, strange. in all honesty, most small towns in america are nothing of the sort. between you and me, they're actually quite boring. the average small townie has nothing to fear from their suburban setting.

there are, however, exceptions. black creek, washington is one such exception. a town that exemplifies odd america, black creek's origins are unknown. the town simply appeared one day, as if out of thin air. this was many, many years ago. today, it's inhabited by a modest population that does their best to ignore the things that go bump in the night.

odd tales have always circulated in black creek. folklore has been passed down generations in whispers, so as to not alert the oddities that the townies know they're being ... watched.

folks warn of vengeful ghosts, of a living forest, of a creature that brings you bad luck but they could never imagine what hides beneath the facade of black creek.

dark things hide here, evil things, ancient things.

Hello to all who may see this post! I, Kenzie, come at you once again with yet another splendid roleplay server. As you may know i have advertised a roleplay server upon my tumblr in the past, but this one is a different one. (as always, the invite link is at the bottom.)

So let me ask you a question, do you like slice of life rp mixed with a bit of adventure, a lot of mystery and just a teeny bit of horror if you consider some certain implications? Then boy do I have the right roleplay for you!

Introducing, Crown's County! A roleplay that's a mix of primarily Slice of Life and Mystery. Your setting is the small little town of Crown's County, but that begs the question, how did you character get there? Did they move there one day? Or had they lived there all their lives? (somehow, neither of those seem just right)

Can you trust your memories? That will all depend on your Awareness Level, or AL for short! AL is a fun little mechanic for this roleplay, and will help you with rolls(like in dnd) and serves as a marker towards your character's progression in solving all of Crown's County's mysteries!

But do you think that's all i have to share? Nope! Because I have a limited time offer for those willing to join! (and stay)

Behold! For the low low price of joining and participating in this roleplay, you too can get a blorboplied drawing of one of your characters! But make sure to do so before January 7th(aest) And if that's not enough incentive to join, we have plenty of lore to uncover!

The possibilities in Crown's County are almost endless! You could make a (sealed for lore purposes) Eldritch Horror work in retail! You could investigate a spooky forest! You can get up to highschool hyjinks! There's tons of possibilities to be discovered!

Of course, we do have rules though.

} You know what I'm gonna say, don't be rude, transphobic, Homophobic, Racist, you get the jist, don't be a jerk.

} Proshipping will not be tolerated here, if you are a proshipper then please get the heck out of this server.

} There's a limit of two to three main characters per person, however you can request to play an NPC character as well

} If your character has powers, I must say that they are sealed. They can use pathetically weak versions of those powers though. (Such as, someone who can fly can just levitate now.) Why? Well, that's a lore reason i can't spill yet

} Yes, there is a chance that your characters can die in this rp. But, who's to say that a new version of them can't come and take their place? But, if your character dies, then don't throw a hissy fit. There's a chance they can come back

} Please be patient with the mods (aka me), we have our own schedules and such

} Don't make yourself a protagonist, or a mary-sue/gary-stu. While I admit being all powerful and being unable to get hurt by like, anything. Nobody really has all that much power here, not even gods.

} If you wish to do any evil plotting or secret actions, then do so in your private channel which will be provided to you by the mods upon you claiming a character or saying that you will be roleplaying.

} Absolutely no ERP or NSFW, there are minors on this server

} Oh yeah, if you want to ship your character with someone else's character within the RP you must ask for their permission to pursue their character

} Non-human characters will have to be humanized but can retain certain non-human aspects, but not too many. (for lore reasons)

} PLEASE remember to censor potentially triggering topics, if you don't know how to censor it's just putting || on both sides of the text you are censoring

Welcome to Grimvale Hollow, the most spirited town in Vermont, where everything is familiar, but nothing is what it seems. Grimvale was at one time a tiny hollow, home to a small village of settlers. Life was typical for the time, but strange things seemed to happen there. There were rumors of witchcraft, of rituals, strange creatures, and all-around weird happenings. Today, we’re a much bigger town but some things never change.

Grimvale Hollow seems to be like any other charming New England style town, but nothing is as it appears. There are six total neighborhoods that divide up The Hollow, each with different types of local, different architecture, and varied places to visit. While there may not be supernatural creatures walking around on the regular, there are weird things happening all over town, and many of the inhabitants have their own wild stories. But all in all, we're just like any other charming town. Experience the mysterious, the paranormal, and the quaint, small town magic.

Once you visit The Hollow, you'll never want to leave.
