okay im loving this??? in my head it's a few years into his career, maybe when he's 20 or so. rated m. pregnancy talk! all fluff :))

your hands shake as you stare at two thin, pink lines. over, and over, and over again. you took five tests, scrounging them up from the depths of your cabinet. pregnant. your stomach flips as you laid a hand on it, you aren't far along enough to be showing yet, but you know what's hidden there.

the sound of the bathroom door opening brings tears to your eyes, a sob bubbling up from your chest.

"o-oh shit," mack murmurs, stepping closer to you. "what's wrong? talk to me, hey," he urges softly.

your whole body shakes as you turn around, showing him the test. you can't bring yourself to say it aloud, the only words that pierce through your poorly-stifled sobs are a chorus of "i'm sorry, i'm so, s-so sorry." the feeling is all consuming, dread washing over your body in waves. your head aches, feeling heavy as you avoid mack's gaze.

"baby, baby look at me." he grabs your face, forcing your eyes to meet his. for the first time, you notice he's crying just like you are.

"mack, i'm so sorry-" you begin to apologize for the millionth time, but mack kisses the words right from your lips.

"i mean, yeah it's earlier than i expected. but... i want this with you. i wanted it a few years from now, but i'll take it right now." he pauses, hands squeezing your own. "if it's something you want."

you nod simply, too overwhelmed by the sudden shock and joy to speak. one final sob wracks through your body as your boyfriend cradles you against his body, swaying softly.

"shh, it's okay. we're gonna be okay, yeah?" he murmurs, stroking your back as he holds you close. "let's go shopping, get you out of the house. we can buy baby clothes, and baby shoes, oh! and we gotta get 'em a little shark plushie."

you pull back, a wet laugh bubbling up from your chest. it's funny, how scared you were. of course mack was over the moon, he was sweet in nature, with the biggest heart. you should've known there was never a reason to worry.

Today’s mood 🌸 Happy Spring!

I don’t wear pink very much, but I often do at the start of spring. My favorite is a soft, pale pink, just like the petals raining down. ^u^

Speaking of, some of my favorite pink Pokémon! Sakura (Cherrim), Dango (Wigglytuff), & Fauna (Sawsbuck).

BTW, did you know there’s a meaning to the hanami dango’s colors? Pink is for the flowers, white is for the lingering snow, & green is for the fresh, new leaves. 🍡
