Spy

Weirdly I think out of the two of them he's the most understanding about this. And I don't mean understanding he would hate you otherwise and be a dick (he's always a dick but not like that), he's just weirdly educated on the topic but refuses to outright admit it.

Anyways, yeah so you're going through one of those days where the dysphoria is getting especially bad. How can he help? He loves you, and I think one of his love languages is acts of service.

So, how can he help you feel less of that? He knows that there's societal expectations for you to look the way the sex that you were born as, would you like to go in another direction? Do you want to vent?

Just let him know and he'll do his best to accommodate. He's very affirming in your identity and will always perceive you as you wish to be perceived.

If your insecurities are in anything else, he's a big hype man without being a stereotypical hype man. He's very realistic and gives a sense of tough love when it comes to loving and trusting, even becoming neutral with yourself. He won't let you talk down about yourself. That's not good for you.

He will always uplift you. By no means is he super duper soft, but he will uplift you and remind you of your worth every single day.

Sniper

Doesn't understand this stuff at all. Very big "what other people do isn't my business" but you're his partner and this is really important to you so now he needs to brush up on what you're talking about.

He's always found the gender binary kind of silly. Understands the concept of being gender neutral, or fluid, but that's about it. Even then, his understanding is flawed. This does not mean he is totally inept though. He's your biggest supporter.

Much like Spy, what do you need? He's a man of action. He will listen to you, support you, and uplift you. You just need to tell him exactly what you want.

Though, he's very observant. If you're not able to say it, he's pretty much on it before you can even start to think of the words to ask. Whether that's breaking away from what other people think you are, or getting you things to feel more at home with who you want to present as, he's very thoughtful and introspective!

He also has a lot of affirmations for you. Has you repeat things like, "I am strong", what not because he read it in the back of a newspaper once while holed up in a sniper's nest for a job.

If it's not related to this, then he's also got a tough love approach but somehow a bit softer than Spy. I think he's more prone to listening, and then acting, whereas Spy manages them all together. Sometimes, you need to be angry and upset or sad, and that's okay. Mundy will support and love you through it all.

Spending a lazy day with Chris would include...

● There's only one thing that Chris loves more than being lazy, and that is being lazy with you.

● The two of you would make sure to have one day a week where you do absolutely nothing (usually on the weekend, but if you happen to have a day off during the week, Chris would totally blow off work to stay home with you).

● You'd just spend the entire day laying on the sofa together, not moving unless absolutely necessary, like for toilet breaks or to take medication if you need it.

● Chris would lay his head against your breasts, insisting that they're more comfortable than any pillow. Every so often he'd give one a little squeeze, smirking to himself as he does so.

● Before laying down, you and Chris would have stacked a bunch of snacks on the coffee table - you don't tend to eat healthily on these lazy days.

● Occasionally you would feed each other crisps or any other snacks that you might have on hand.

● You'd watch some of Chris' favourite trashy daytime TV shows, getting invested in the ridiculous stories and laughing your heads off.

● After that, you might play some video games together - if the controllers are within easy reach, and if you can manage it with Chris laying down on top of you.

● Every so often, Chris would drift off to sleep, meaning that you'd have to wake him if you needed to get up for whatever reason.

● If Tim happened to come home while you were in the middle of this weekly tradition, Chris wouldn't be at all bothered. He'd say "hi" to Tim and then turn all of his attention straight back to you.

● You wouldn't get up from the sofa until it was time to have dinner, and perhaps, you would end up straight back there once you were done.

i think he would be really disoriented once they put his head back on his body. or once he died and respawned. he just wouldn't feel right anymore like his body wasnt his own. like his hands were too big and his feet were too small. he keeps burning himself on his cigarettes and bumping clumsily into the side of tables. the other mercs laugh when he trips over his own legs. he doesn't get what's so funny. he's in pain, and they laugh more as he tries to get back up. it makes him want to go run into the base's meat freezer and hide. at this point, the cold is more comforting than anything. at least he couldn't be poked or prodded in the fridge. at least he's safe from ridicule in the freezer. the cold made the cigarette burns hurt less too anyway. my commissions | my kofi

Twilight getting jealous of Anya and Bondman. Like he watches it with her with a scowl on his face just criticizing him over and over. Genuinely consider blowing his cover so he can show Anya what a real spy looks like. He says it’s because Bondman is spreading misinformation but in reality he just doesn’t like hearing Anya get all giddy about a phony when she has the real deal right there.

Anya of course is aware that Loid is an infamous spy and she knows there’s a lot she can learn from him. So sometimes she manipulates Twilight into giving her little lessons and tutorials just for accuracy sake. It’s gotten to the point where he’s taught Anya how to scale a building and shot a gun (for protection). Next week he’s gonna teach how to solicit information.

Who Is Scout's Ma?

She's a character we know extremely little about, however when you stop to consider the IMPLICATIONS of what little we DO know, things start to get interesting:

1. She lives in the roughest part of Boston ("if you were from where I was from, you'd be dead") but dresses quite elegantly.

2. She had 8 boys, all of whom she raised BY HERSELF, and yet somehow she finds the time to maintain this impeccable appearance.

3. Scout clearly loves and admires her to a point where it's one of the few things he'll drop his "tough guy" act for, and dialogue in the comics like "Ma's gonna kill me if she finds out" implies he also still fears her disapproval, despite being a fully autonomous adult.

4. Spy, despite what he likes to pretend, is clearly head-over-heels for her. He even had her likeness engraved on his fanciest gun! (Note the distinct hairband & hoop earrings) For a man who avoids attachment to the point where he never lets anyone see his face, that's an unusual degree of infatuation.

5. None of Scout's brothers left Boston while he was growing up, despite a few of them presumably being adults by then. Not only this, they were still all getting into fights together, implying they were both continuing to live with or near their mother and brothers, AND had reasons to brawl with others beyond just some adolescent street scuffle.

My Theory:

Scout's Ma is the matriarch of a Boston-based crime family.

It explains her elegant appearance, how she and Spy were able to meet, why their bond clearly goes beyond a one-off fling, why she was able to be in Scout's life so much despite the financial burdens of being a single mother of 8, and why all of said 8 were continuing to get into fights with other locals. They weren't just some street gang, they were enforcers. It also explains why/how Scout got into mercenary work, his many mafia-themed weapons, and why he continues to fear her ire even as an adult.

Plus, take a look at this unused angle of the last photo from Meet The Spy:

You'd THINK a single mother from the rough side of Boston wouldn't appear so in-her-element on a fancy date with The Spy, and yet her appearance and demeanour here just SCREAM "confident and in control."

Scout's Ma is Boston's Godmother, and I desperately wish to see someone draw her as such.

Okay so I have a thought/headcanon about Spy X Family.

Anya always does a little hand pat on people when she notices they're upset as a comfort. Which is super cute.

But what's even cuter is, I think she got is from Loid.

In the first episode, when he officially decides to keep her after rescuing her from the thugs, he acknowledges it by putting his hand on her head:

And then in episode 2, when Anya gets worried that Loid having her is preventing him from finding a wife, he again reaches out and rubs her head while assuring her it's not her fault:

He also pats her head in the episode after she gets accepted into Eden and she tells him she's going to do her best.

I think there's some others but I don't feel like trying to find them 😅

Anyway, I think Anya pats people to comfort them because she felt loved when Loid did it to her. I would guess she's never really been given physical affection before, and so Loid doing that made an impact on her, and that's why she does it to others.

I think he does his own haircuts and for his "Robert" character he used his real age, but "Loid Forger" is older than him (example: if Twilight is 28, Loid is 32) so I bet he tried to get a haircut that would make him look older
