What if, at the end of the milk bucket game, a bulletproof glass pane comes down at the end of each losing teams corresponding number? Separating the players and keeping the losers from escaping.

(aka this is me giving a 'reason' as to why Hannah and Suzyroxx couldn't move from their pen and gave it my own flair. Spoilers for day 5 of squidcraft 2)

sc!Hannah being confused when she got back to her teams cow pen. Her going up to it and knocking her knuckles against it, it sounded pretty thick.

And due to it being thick, sound is a little muffled. She couldn't hear her fellow competeters completely but she still gave her ggs. Her and Suzy gave their thoughts on why they couldn't get the buckets acrossed as fast, those things were heavy as fuck. She still got one final laugh out after she asked Aldo and Roier to sing her a song, only for it be some free style rap.

She almost forgot her situation until Sapnap's voice yelled through the glass, clear as day.

"Hannah! Look at me, Hannah! Don't look back!"

Against her better judgement, she looked back. Her heart sank to her stomach once she saw the guard approaching her, assult rifle in hands.

Hannah lets out a cry as she curls up her fists, banging them against the glass. Maybe if she hits hard enough, it will crack. Give leway, something. Seems like Suzy noticed the guard too, as she was also punching against the glass.

But no matter what they did; punching, kicking, throwing their whole body weight against it, the glass didn't budge.

Hannah leaned her body against the glass, winded from using all her energy. This was it, her time was up. Dammit, she wanted to go to the finals, not lose just before it. Now she has to die with a barrier separating her from her friends (Were they still friends at this point?). Reaching over to her right, she grabs Suzy's sweaty hand in a tight grip. Just as strong, Suzy grips hers back.

At least she wont be totally alone.

Hearing a bang against the glass, Hannah looks up to see sc!Sapnap leaning his head against the glass right up against hers, so they were face to face. Sapnap placed his hand palm open on the glass next to his head, and Hannah lifted hers up to place it right over his. She holds back a sob as she does this.

"Look at your friends Hannah! Don't look back, look at your friends, ok?" Sapnap's voice was still clear through the glass. His voice was steady and calm, but it did nothing for her nerves.

Hannah's sobs got loud as she heard the rifle behind her being loaded before the first gunshots rang out. She felt Suzy's grip on her hand loosen as her body fell backward on the ground, the momentum of the fall causing their hands to separate. Blood splattered widely on the glass, but none of the bullets broke through or even cracked the glass. Bulletproof.

Sapnap's voice got more frantic as he saw the gun point towards Hannah, "Keep looking at your friends Hannah! We'll win this for you! You hear me, we'll win this for you!"

Hannah didn't get to respond as she felt the searing pain before she hear the gunshot. Her knees fell underneath her, and she fell down to her side. Her ears were ringing, but she could still hear her friends crying out for her and banging against the glass.

She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as her last breath. Guess they were friends in the end.

The first thing that Sapnap does when he finally gets home is make little graves for his fallen friends. He doesn’t know what became of their bodies— nor does he know if anyone but him even cares enough to look for them— but he’s accepted that none of them will ever get a proper funeral. Nobody will lay ornate caskets into the ground or gently spread their ashes into the Atlantic Ocean. His friends are dead and it’s up to him to remember them.

He starts with Tina, Foolish, and Sylvee. Three close friends that he lost along the way. He knew them when he walked into that horrible place, when the promise of money seemed hopeful yet far away. He digs three small holes in a forest not far from his house and in lieu of bodies, he buries objects as a tribute. For Tina, he buries a small plush white cat and a can of roasted carrot soup. He can picture her smile as she says “la gatita tiene la sopita” and wants to remember that happiness that she expressed up until the very end. For Foolish, he buries a hammer. Foolish was a builder— he created new things, practical and beautiful all at once. The world will be a bit gloomier without the beauty of his creations. He frowns more deeply when he reaches the plot he set aside for Sylvee— he’s known her longer, after all. For Sylvee, he buries a small purple panda toy. It’s a reminder of another competition they played in but as a team. That one didn’t end well either, but at least she got to go home when it was done.

Sapnap let out an exhale when the dial tone gave way to Dream’s voice. He was sane enough to pick up at least.

“Nick? What’s up?” Dream sounded bright but confused. They didn’t often phone each other, even when one of them was away. They were used to giving each other space and tended to seek each other out more passively by playing games in the living room where the other could come and join them, or sitting in a discord voice chat until someone else popped in.

“Do I need to come home right now?” Sapnap was only half joking.

“What do you mean? George doesn’t get here for like, a week”.

“Oh, so it is about George”.

Why had he bothered to even consider an alternative under the circumstances?

“You’re gonna have to be more specific Nick, I am tired and I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

‘More specific’ he says. As if the man has ten different George related thoughts at any given time. Sapnap doesn’t want to think about the truth of that or that the content of those thoughts may be. Instead of answering, Sapnap sends a screenshot of his twitter mentions.

@ sapnap I think someone let your dog out, go and get him!!

George is gonna get to florida and @ sapnap will have to explain that dream got blown away by a fucking hurricane.

There were also clips of Dream’s recently ended twitter space amongst the concerned and amused tweets; soundbytes of Dream frolicking outside in the hurricane talking about nothing in particular. But to Sapnap, and a portion of the audience if the more jubilant posts were any thing to be believed, the subtext was glaring.

A ping and a hum came from the other end of the line as Dream received the screenshot and took it in.

“Yeah my mom wasn’t too impressed with me running around outside either.”

Sapnap hummed, he should have expected this level of deliriousness. George getting his visa signified more for Dream than just getting a new roommate. Or even finally having his best friend in the same country, state, and house like they had been planning and hoping for for years now. Sapnap himself can hardly believe it some days although he’s pretty sure his ears are still ringing from the screams when he picked up the call from George and Dream.

Those past echoes are drowned out by a rumble on the other end of the line. Could’ve have been thunder, could’ve been gale force winds, it was too hard to tell over the phone.

“Are you outside again?”

“Just sitting at the patio doors.”

They sat there in intermittent silence for a while trading the clacking and clicking of keyboard and mouse for the steady patter of rain against the side of the house that would soon be home to a third person. One of them would pipe up from time to time with a question about something being ready for George or to suggest a place for them all to go together once he was here. The ebb and flow of the hurricane continued in the background and at times it seemed to be roaring at Dream to push him back inside.

At the moment, Dream didn’t seem worried about any possible danger but Sapnap knew better. Both himself and George were the type to get caught up in the thrill of the moment and be struck by the unease of potential consequences once they were safe and sound. Although George would probably say that it would have been epic to get decapitated, if someone had caught it on camera.

Not Dream though. His brain would have thought of every eventuality; a tree uprooting and slamming into their house, him slipping and falling on the slabs outside and the various injuries that could result from that, an open door being torn from it’s hinges and leaving the inhabitants exposed and vulnerable for the foreseeable future.

He'd obviously decided that the wild excitement, the exhilaration, was worth it.

✨ The english/spanish community crossover event

squidcraft 2 was honestly amazing to me as a #bilingual!! i think it was a great choice to add dtk+ into that event I HAD SO MUCH FUN i think ppl were enjoying themselves overall and i love seeing sapnap win 100k for a second time. AND THE FANART/fic out of it was breathtaking the spanish mc community is a breath of fresh air from how stagnant/fractured the english mc community feels especially for the dt side

Like I have barely noticed that theres been less content, because I keep consuming older vods when theres no new stuff. And its cool!! Theres 4+ YEARS worth of content. Missing dream? Boom. You can watch one of his incredibly fun mc videos. Missing Sapnap? Dont worry, theres 6 vods of Squidcraft Games 2 of his POV, where he wins and shows everyone how cool he is. Missing George? The Stray (videogame) vods, with the chill vibes and good commentary. THERES SO MUCH STUFF. How do people get bored I DONT GET IT ?? Theres so much content!!! ok ok wait so im currently working on two fics rn

the first one is a little dnn drabble from the recent snapchats, nothing special literally just me testing the waters lmao

the second is a bit more deep, but its dnf, probably gonna be angst with a happy ending and has to do with mental health and all that

i also have ideas / parts of a few other fics like a human patches fic and a fic based on the song Hanging On The Telephone by Blondie (probably would be multi chapter or wouldn’t come out for a long time)

Im really trying to keep up with writing, my adhd usually kicks my ass into the gutter whenever i try to do anything even resembling being productive despite having so many ideas 😭

Anyway, planning on the dnn fic to be done by Tuesday, after that I'll probably start on a squidgame fic for Squidcraft or smth 💪
