Day 2 (night)

Oopsie poopsie I complained about this dungeon taking forever and got all the Mali gear on my second day uwu

To be fair I was able to do like 4 runs in a row with a bored max level who could carry, a guy who used tc versions of storm supports so it would stack, and me who would help - but in a normal boring way. I also invited one of my srorm wiz friends (that literally just means i friended them on wiz after talking for 3 minutes) to join, and we did team up the old-fashioned way.

Anyways tho it was good vibes, and we both got hat & robes in the same drop. She already had the hat, but still.

It would have gone terribly if the max wiz wasn't there. My first team up had the max wiz, someone who admitted they were only there for athame, and someone who didn't know the cheats. We agreed (max, newbie, and I) to meet up to get 4 person team after that.

Then, I got shoved into a team up group who ONLY wanted athame, but I was avoiding the new player, so I did the fight regardless. I think it was probably only 8 rounds, but it felt waaaay longer.

The convo beforehand was bad vibes, but we all saw a Myth would be our hitter. IN the fight two ppl didn't stun resist, and **gasp** got stunned. No one but me had had spirit blades in deck. I got stunned thru my protection. Boss got a Myth shield up. Guy didn't want to hit thru it. By the time I was unstunned to give him a pierce blade, there was a tower shield. A storm in the group was saying he'd hit, and the myth was so upset we wanted him to hit thru shields??? The two elemental guys are fucking low on all their hp now. Then, the myth guy did 18k damage anyways and made the storms hit kill easily.

After this, I did two slowish, but chill runs with a cool life wiz kinda randomly. Then the max wiz was in a random team up I was in, along with tc guy. The rest of the night,,, mwah.

Might get some straggler gear in mali, maybe the athame and amulet. I don't think the Mali dungeon will feel nearly as bad now, even if I do full runs w/ others.

I just think wizard101 needs a better way to search dungeons while waiting. Add some way to view just the Darmoor dungeons from the sigil, some indicator to queue that the person doesn't want to do a 'full run.' It's set to full by default, but athame hunters can uncheck that yaknow.

It's also crazy how few ppl check the cheats. I got lucky the confused people didnt /actually/ manage to drag my teams down... And that essential jobs were done by me or ppl who had proved themselves earlier in the fights.

Overall tho, I friended a lot of ppl. Dungeons like that can't be all bad. Can you tell I'm riding the high? My relief is erasing my gripes istg

I dont even know why I'm doing Darkmoor. I should just play Batman. ... ANYWAYS

First time in. I watch a Storm fizzle twice in a row. A death says one thing about it in first fight, mentions it in second. They fuckin fight, death dips. The storm fizzles on the second fight. I fucking DIE. I was going to leave, but there was a fellow femme who told me to port back in & finish.

I proceed to use 5 potions and waste an hour of my life fighting thru mali. No gear, even after rolling a chest.

Second team up is with two people who say they forgot the cheats. I mention feints twice in ths convo bc u get stunned if u blade. Only one feint is placed and they both getted stunned after blading. After this fight the 4th leaves. We all leave after this.

Third team up is with the aforementioned two people. They prep better, and the following fights go /okay./ In Mali they don't kill on round 4, and none of use realize round 5/1 meant the same thing, making the next planned attack get fucked up. Oh also we have to restart our first match up here bc we get eathquaked by the minions TWICE in the first 4 rounds. It still goes much better than my first mali fight. No gear.

Fourth team up. With a lvl 170. I fumble the most here. I get stunned blading. I was supposed to spam 2nd fight and didn't equip deck, meaning i had to flee. Mali goes pretty well, but one persons pet keeps triggering mali to steal shields, and mali doesnt die from the initial hit he does. Its still a 12/17 round game I think, which makes it the best by far.

I get the boots as a drop, which is probably the worst clothing gear I could have received.

And NOW my dmg is 118 which means i could be a hitter in bad groups which probably means I need to prep at least one more deck for that scenario, in addition to the 4 I have currently.

This is the most toxic and frustrating gear to get so far. People dont know cheats and they're so snappy and its making ME snappy.

The only good news is I knew itd be like this so I did record some of these lol.
