Has anyone else seen those ads on FB about Stitch Spring? A company that makes anime inspired clothing? Well, I’d been seeing them all over my feed for a while, that last September I put in my order for the Slithering Serpent Cardigan and… IT FINALLY CAME TODAY! Took nearly five months to get to me but now I’m a proud owner of such a beautiful piece of art! I can’t believe it! It’s so nicely made and incredibly detailed. Lined on the inside and on the back—the DESTROY kanji, so I feel like a real-life Demon Slayer 😭 And the buttons y’all… little sneks ����

Overall, this is something that I’m sure to treasure for years to come. It certainly wasn’t cheap so I’m glad the quality is on point and top notch, and that the site is legit, too. Also, I guess this works as a face reveal post… Hi!! I’m Jazmin 😊 If I look kinda rough it’s because I’ve been sick for a week and on a lot of cold medicines 🤪 I’m going back to the couch pretending Obanai just gave me his haori to snuggle in while I ride out my sickness 🫰🏼

I knitted that cardigan entirely in lace but with baby merino. It was my first time knitting lace I didn’t made a sample didn’t have a pattern so I let you imagine how well it got xD buuuuut with a lot of blocking and arrangement while taking the pic it does look ok!

Same for the dress! I sew that one last year with a very very complicated fabric (but so pretty 🤩) made the pattern on the go and it was… special let say! All in all it’s a good look for spring I feel! Flowers blooming but still cold! Spring is my favorite season so far! Especially for bjd clothes!

Ofc Rowen looks lovely even if she’s more a Autumn/winter girl in my opinion! Rin will portray srping and summer better but Im still waiting for her wig 😭

Tommy wakes up and immediately wants to fall back asleep so he doesn't have to go through the absolute bullshit he knows will go down today: call out of work, struggle to get through the most basic of tasks, lay-slash-sit on the couch all day, shifting constantly because no position is bearable for more than 10 minutes at most.

It sucks, and no amount of getting used to it reduces all the ways in which it's frustrating and annoying and fucking sucks.

He wants today to be over. He wants to hit something really hard, but he can't, because he can barely stand, and—

There's a hand between his bare shoulder blades.

"Baby," Evan says, his voice still mussed with sleep, "take a deep breath for me, Tommy."

Tommy does. Closes his eyes, focuses on the hand touching him, the cold metal of the wedding band on Evan's fourth finger. Tries to take deep, even breaths until his head clears a little.

When he feels like he can bear it, he turns around to face Evan next to him. His big blue eyes are a comfort, compassionate and so, so loving. He's been with him through it all—the countless doctors, the countless pointless appointments and test and scans. He knows about the bad days, and the spirals, and the helplessness.

Evan stayed during it all, and Tommy still gets goosebumps when he thinks about it.

He buries his head in Evan's neck, breathes in his scent, tries to focus on the things he can control, on the positive things he can feel instead of the pain. It doesn't really work, but under him, his husband is solid and real and when he listens closely, he can hear his heartbeat, an it helps.

Still, the voice inside of him keeps nagging. It's Evan's day off, and he's been talking about a bunch of things he wanted to do today, and now Tommy is...well, he's certainly not lighting up the room with joy.

"I'm sorry," he murmurs into Evan's skin, "I don't want to bring you down with me."

And then he's being pulled away by two strong hands on his shoulders, and Evan looks at him with a face set in determination. "Tommy, you're not. There will be better days, but I'm here for all of them. Including the ones that suck. In sickness and in health, remember?"

Tommy smiles, and there are tears srpinging into his eyes that he doesn't blink away. Instead, he kisses him, brief and chaste, and leans his body against him.

"I'll just take a minute to call you out, okay? And then I'll get the arnica gel, and we can see if we move to the couch, that sound okay?" A clear plan to follow, simple enough not to be overwhelming but solid enough to feel less lost. Tommy doesn't know what he's ever done to deserve someone like this. He nods, kisses Evan once more before resting back on the pillows.

He aches, and he doesn't know how to hold himself up alone. But he doesn't have to. Evan's got him.
