SSS Trio: Hair Shenanigans

Found this in my drafts; poorly edited.

Headcanon that Satoru and Shoko play with Suguru's hair (mostly Gojo tho let's be honest)

Gojo will dare Suguru when they are on missions and if Suguru fails the dare, Gojo gets to style his hair the next day.

Scratch that, it could even be a dare to just annoy Yaga.

Cue the very badly done pig tails, braids and other funky hairstyles

Gojo insists on putting ribbons in Suguru's hair

Suguru gets eyed weirdly by Yaga for having ribbons sticking out of his hair. But Yaga sensei knows better than to question the trios's antics at this point

Ends in disaster for Suguru. His hair will be knotted and frizzy for days.

Shoko offers to actually do Suguru's hair sometimes. It's nothing fancy or extravagant like what Gojo does but Suguru's not complaining.

She sneaks a scrunchie in occasionally when she puts his hair in a bun

She also brushes Suguru's hair when she's stressed (after her cigarettes get confiscated by the duo for her health)

So does Gojo, it's kinda their therapeutic thing

Gojo steals hair elastics from Suguru and will fire them at Yaga's head during boring lessons.

Chaos ensues where Yaga reprimands Geto.

Gojo cackling in the background gives him away. (Yaga gives him hell for it)

Shoko just watches and fires more elastics at Yaga, pretending to be Gojo and getting him in even more trouble.

Shoko and Suguru have on more than one occasion dyed Gojo's hair when he's asleep as retaliation for his shenanigans

Much to their dismay, Gojo is always super excited about his new hair colours.

"I want blue next time to match my eyes!!" "how bout black so Suguru and I can match?" "Ooh, what about pastel colours?" "Do something that makes me look sexy"

The two just sigh at how excited he is, at least the had their fun?

when Shoko gives zero fucks, Gojo will braid Shoko's hair with side braids, which may or may not be horrendous. Or does pigtails for her.

With extra glitter, jewels and ribbons, hair clips and scrunchies of course

Shoko let's Gojo had his fun but takes it out as soon as he leaves

Someone do Gojo's hair, that was his real goal

Can and will walk around campus with a bow in his head

Has special exorcism hair clips he only wears on missions

BUT!! Geto does Shoko's hair sometimes and styles it for her.

Geto secretly has a 10 step hair routine. And may or may not own hair butter, Aveda shampoo, conditioner (or some other fancy brand)and hairdryer.

Will lend Shoko the goods and help her go through his hair routine.

Shoko is secretly snorting because she was actually right about him having a haircare routine

Satoru and Shoko may or may not have walked in on one of Geto's haircare sessions

He's humming and blow drying his hair while applying hair butter

Gojo took pictures for blackmail later

Suguru screams when he sees them invading his ✧personal sexy rejuvenation time✧

Begrudgingly invites them in

The Trio does hair masks together.

It's now a ritual

Suguru has been dubbed hair master

Knowing how much Suguru values his hair, Gojo is more invested in messing with it

for shits and giggles

May or may not have cut Suguru's hair as an April fools prank

Never again after Suguru went on a rampage

It was may have been Shoko... But she wasn't gonna tattle on herself

Gojo's hair was destroyed by Suguru the next day with a bad cut and terrible dye job

The trio goes through phases of messing up each other's hair and doing haircare together

Just know that if one were to walk through Jujutsu Tech in 2006, one shouldn't be surprised to see ribbons in everyone's hair,hair elastic wars or hair care spa days frequently

In the Shadows of the Dunes - The Editor’s Hot Take

Okay… the update is over and we’re gonna see more Lotus lore soon, but in the aftermath of this burning mess of an update this March… LET’S GET THIS OVER WITH. No Cookie commentary. No seasonal things like Trophy Race and Guild Run. This is all talk with your Editor Meringue, AKA DerpyToad the blog mod, about the temporary main events and the Cookies as someone who’s been playing since August 2018 and slowly getting more burnout. If you want more of these hot takes from me in the future, or have follow-up thoughts and comments about what I had to say, do let me know.

Main Event- Village of Mirages

The concept of this event was recycled from last month. Just get the ranks using the new Cookies, then get the S rank to unlock hard mode. The primary difference was their execution of bonus content and rewards in the hard modes, which did- to their merit- award a Legendary Treasure which I’ve yet to examine: the Lamp of Endless Dreams. The Jobs seemed interesting, although some did take a few tries to do if you missed the mark by *that* much. Normal Mode basically dictates two options: get the new Cookie, or use GingerBrave. As we all know, score-wise, Brave can’t do much even if he’s maxed out. The story content was decent enough (no, this isn’t concerning the individual Cookies, I’ll get to them later) as a whole, and it was rather easy to unlock entire segments in one sitting. The minor rewards were substandard. What can you even buy with a whopping 20 Crystals from getting the rank? Absolutely Nothing.

April Fools- Doughnut Ball Invasion

Intentionally-shoddy MS Paint graphics and choppy music aside, this year’s event was the most intriguing of the lot yet (also counting stand-alone events like Brave’s Trial, Bright’s Trial, Brave’s NEW Trial, and Invocation Card Matching). The addition of an actual story (and making Mic Mac canon in CROB as a “coach” with his own voiceover commentary) makes it more engaging to a point until you finish it since the rewards besides the Costume, story cutscenes, and Title were a combination of 1s and 4s, which could make it either very high or very low. It put the running concept in a new light since you aren’t auto-running like Donkey Kong Country’s minecart segments. You have to punt your now limbless Brave with accuracy (blindly without crosshairs, I should add) so he lands where you want him, and so he doesn’t roll backwards down a hill and lose you progress. The challenges were reasonable to a point, but anything at 3-2 onwards was trickier to get due to intense platform-punting under the risk of rolling back down a hill or into a hole. Fall in the hole, and it’s Game Over immediately. Add the low gravity in area 4, and you’ll have yourself one helluva time trying to regain control while not falling in said holes while your energy ticks down.

The Cookies- Centipede and Peppercorn

*sigh* Once again… that’s a double yikes. Did they even bother to hire a historian or something to fact-check their work for sensitivity in SWANA culture? Bet not. The outfits are a considerable problem in stereotyping. The fact that Centipede has a whip and Peppercorn has bombs *ahem* smoke bombs doesn’t make it any better. Heck, Peppercorn having anything remotely similar to a cartoonish bomb 💣 (see that emoji for example) while being part of a Yogurca update (which dropped during Ramadan, I should add) makes it all a big red flag, clan’s assassins and rogues or not. I shouldn’t have to explain why this is a problem besides referencing tragedies that happened in the last thirty years that stemmed from explosions. Also add a BOMB JELLY SET to this mix, and that’s Strike Three and You’re Out!

regarding concepts, you mean like where i get my idea for comics and stuffs?? 

I’m just gonna assume that that’s what you’re asking here lol so i have like... i guess 3 different ways I get ideas/concepts.

it’s gonna be kinda long, so I’ll just do it like this,

1. from twitter TL. Time to time, there are things/AU that gets popular on my TL. For e.g. Snake!Geto x Snow leopard!Gojo was one that I constantly saw on my TL and it was really cute! So I wanted to draw something regarding that and if possible, situation that only can be happening because of their animal traits. Sooo first thing I researched was how these animals mate LMAO yeah.. and then I was like oh yeah snake had molting cycle too right? so I researched that area and ended up watching the molting video on youtube lol so that’s how i came up with the idea.. Popular subjects on TL > research on my own > things that I thought interesting/ fun to see in jjk character > end up making a comic

2. I just scream I love a certain aspect of the character. And I start elaborating what I like about them. And that kinda becomes some kind of story on its own, so i just refine the story to make it become a short comic. April fools comic was that type lol i was like ‘I LOVE HOW WHEN GETO IS WITH GOJO HE BECOMES A HELPLESS IDIOT!!! AND EVERYONE ELSE SUFFERS’ lol and then it began lollol

3. Specific item/subject/situation comes first, and then put characters into the situation/have them interact with the item/subject. That’s cigarette comic I drew. I wanted Gojo to know the difference between Shoko and Geto’s cigarette scent.. so in that case, the subject ‘cigarettes, different smells, and nostalgic feeling’ i guess, came first, and then I couldn’t make it too serious, cuz i’m bad at that lol so ended up making another story that ends stupid way lollol
