Statue of San Catharina Da Siena near the castle, Rome, Italy Saint Catherine (1347-1380) was the daughter of a prosperous Sienese cloth dyer. At the age of six, she saw a vision of Christ and thereafter dedicated herself to chastity, penance, and good works. She became much beloved in Siena for selflessly caring for victims of the Black Death.

Same, tbh.
___
JOKE-OGRAPHY: Listen, man, there's a Bible quote taken out of context, alright?  That's always hilarious.

I showed you this in the opening up of my side. There you find my heart's secret and it shows you, more than any finite suffering could, how I love you. And I show you this without limit.

Perfect Prayer
"Oh, how sweet & pleasant to that soul and to Me is holy prayer, made in the house of knowledge of self & of Me, opening the eye of the intellect to the light of faith and the affections to the abundance of My charity, which was made visible to you through My visible Only-begotten Son, who showed it to you with His blood!
...Perfect prayer is not attained to through many words, but through affection of desire, the soul raising herself to Me, with knowledge of herself & of My mercy, seasoned the one with the other. Thus she will exercise together mental & vocal prayer, for even as the active & contemplative life is one, so are they."
-Excerpt from St. Catherine of Siena's A Treatise on Prayer as part of her mystical Dialogues with God

Some say that this Robin Hood of saints returns to the mortal realm even to this day to snatch socks from the dryers of sinners!
___
JOKE-OGRAPHY: St. Catherine gave away whatever she could with extreme generosity.  I translate her... “compulsively inclusive charity” to her pilfering her brother's sock drawer after exhausting her own.  I'm not sure why socks, specifically.  I just think it's funny.  Leave me alone.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This one is kind of like a Tomics Resurrection, where I take an old comic and redraw it.  But instead of doing that to a comic from years ago, I've done it to a comic from only one year ago.  The style hasn't changed much, but I've redesigned certain elements completely.  Its face has changed, but its substance remains the same, so I guess this is more of a Tomics Transfiguration.  I've redesigned the characters (so Catherine looks less like Joan of Arc), chosen some different colors (so it feels warmer and more Italianish), and reworded the last line (to make it flow into a TOMICS STORY ARC??!).
