It's the summer of 2003 in the deep heat of Mississippi, and Juicy's just trying to live life loud-jewelry clinking, hips swinging, and lip gloss always fresh. Between running around with Mary, eating good southern cooking, keeping her name clean in a town full of loose talk, all while taking a break from behind a perfect college student, Juicy doesn't have time for love... not that it stops love from finding her anyway.

This whole thing with safety constantly being torn from them has me thinking... when does 'safe' not really feel safe anymore? How many times do you lose it before you feel like you can't have it anymore? Post-rescue, does hermitcraft actually feel like safety? Or does it just feel like something they could lose? Cuz I mean...they did lose it once already...

yes, that's exactly it. they end up with such a deep feeling of instability and impermanency. on hermitcraft especially, since they also feel alienated and different. they don't feel like they belong. but that feeling would haunt them anywhere. as if they weren't meant to stay anywhere anymore.

the concept of home crumbles completely. and to rebuild it, they first have to clear the debris. but that feels like a monumental task at this point.

and on top of that, there's this lingering feeling that's really awful, that tells them attachments are dangerous. that getting close to people (including hermits, who are meant to be their friends) is dangerous and will only ever inevitably lead to pain.

pain they do not wish to experience again.

this all (and the general trauma of everything else) is what leads grian and scar to isolate so heavily and to struggle with rebuilding their connections and sense of belonging. (and the hermits sometimes do wrong things with the best of intentions, making things worse. inadvertently making the struggle harder.)

it also makes it difficult for them to even start making proper builds; they make that bunker at first, and it has escape routes. it isn't meant for living. it's designed in a way that lets them abandon it quickly if the need arises.

in fact, they make several smaller ones. just in case. just as a backup. just for that feeble, anxiety-laced hope that if they have to run, there'll be somewhere to go.

but at some point, they need to decide enough's enough. they need to let the hope in, even if only tentatively.

it's terrifying.

and yet here they are. making wheat farms and flower beds. bringing in animals. baking cookies and building a tower with a nest on top. everything they've yearned for so long, they can have here.

and yet they cuddle up at night, desperately clutching at each other, fearing that it might all abruptly disappear out of reach overnight. hoping that if that comes to pass and they lose everything again, they'll at least get to keep each other.

Does anyone know of an android app that can play videos like torrents or whatever that has any sort of organization. I know I've seen people talk abt a desktop program that is organized like a streaming service, is there anything like that on android ?

anyway some notes:

a bit of xueyi 101 to start out jic - the atk orb and break rope are the standard for her; her break effect to dmg% conversion A2 trace makes quantum dmg a joke whereas her sources of atk are very limited. build-wise as this freaky puppetcore weirdgirl crit/break hybrid she wants it all rly; both crit, BE and atk, but prioritizing crit until some sort of 1:2 (guides tend to put 60/120 as the baseline) is key.

S5 aeon is perfectly fine and its what i used to have on her, i pulled indelible promise in order to end the custody battle over aeon between her and DHIL lmao (+ new gacha 4* LCs in hsr are like new 4* charas luckily - indelible promise after its initial release patch in 2.0 is now a permanent offrate on all banners except for beginner, phew). the crit on it is especially nice, rly hope i get spooked with some superimpositions in the future.

she shouldnt be on glamoth anymore really - this showcase is with her on spd boots (as you can see. duh) and she does reach the 135 spd for the 1st glamoth buff requirement when with RM (which is every time i play her) so its fine, but as i swap to atk boots when with sparkle im sure you can see why it would be... suboptimal. problem is. well. look at her rope. still havent managed to roll a comparable salsotto one so 💀 we live with this.

her relics are still a bit scuffed (chest and both her atk and spd boots are. fine. but could be better) but since i often have fx and sparkle patching up her crit its fine for now.

also yes i shouldve unlocked those last few quantum dmg and BE traces ages ago but its not rly that impactful when her dmg% is already as high as it is with the amount of BE i have on her so oh well x)

obviously given her dependence on break xueyis far from an universal dps - i only use her in heavily quantum weak fights (or in SU where u can get blessings to spam her ult for the weakness ignoring attack) but when she gets to shine she shreds So hard i love her sm 🥰🥰

What is drawer navigation?

The drawer navigation is nothing but a pattern which includes a hamburger menu or side menu. It is a familiar navigation style which includes the design and development of mobile apps. 

It consists of hidden panels which slide out with the screen or reveal the menu with dynamic navigation options. Hence, it consists of a space-saving technique which is visible and provides easy access. 

How to build the tab navigation

Of course, flutter app design and development using drawer and tab navigations are found at the top. Developers have to press the button in the first tab and take them to the next page via the stack navigator.

Creating a class named HomePage has to be embedded in the build method and returned with the default tab controller widget. It has to take part in defining the 3 tabs in the lengthy property. The appBar and the body will show in the text about code again to make changes in the app design. It is because we could retrieve or link into the main. dart file.

In this file, the developer has to create SecretPage and return with a text in the body. Of course, users have to identify the simple flutter widget and backlog in the above procedure. It is mainly set out defining routes now. Then, it makes sure to obtain the main. dart file and follow the importing method to the top of the file.

By following the code, you have to check to define the MaterialApp to contain routes. It will assign key-value pairs and be able to map routes with a widget. Coders have to navigate with three routes and find key-value pairs. 

/about – the route for the drawer navigator

/home – the route for the tab navigator

/secret – the route for the stack navigator

The back button is shown on the first screen and would help to assign navigation bars and styles of your app.

A new way to navigate Tumblr

If you use Tumblr on a web browser, you might have noticed us testing a brand new navigation on your dashboard in the last month. Now, after some extensive tweaks, we’ve begun rolling out this new dashboard navigation to everyone using a web browser. Welcome to the new world. It’s very like the old world, just in a different layout.

Why are we doing this? We want it to be as easy as possible for everyone to understand and explore what’s happening on Tumblr—newbies and seasoned travelers alike.

Labels over icons: When adding something new to Tumblr in the past, we’d simply add a new icon to our navigation with little further explanation. Turns out no one likes to press a button when they don’t know what it does. So now, where there’s space, the navigation includes text labels. Since adding these, we’ve noticed more of you venturing to previously unexplored corners of Tumblr. Intrepid!

What’s already been fixed? Thanks to feedback from folks during the testing phase, we’ve been able to make some improvements right out of the gate. Those include returning settings subpages (Account, Dashboard, etc.) to the right of the settings page instead of having them in an expandable item in the navigation on the left; fixing some issues with messaging windows on smaller screens; and streamlining the Account section to make it easier to get to your blogs.

What’s next? We’re looking into making a collapsible version of this navigation and improving the use of screen space for those of you with enormous screens. We’re also working on improving access to your account and sideblogs.
