Thanks for really going above and beyond to ignore and antagonize your users by ruining your UI, intentionally marking the very existence of trans women as "sexually explicit" and that one time that you went totally scorched earth on @partyjockers, and your active refusal to actually moderate real hate speech on this site in favor of protecting fascists and other virulent bigots from any and all consequences. Scarlet and Violet, performance wise really lacking to the point where it's obvious there needs to be changes to how staff need to be treated better and given more time to work, are really some of the best games in the mainstream series I've ever played and I just really want to talk forever about how amazing it all is

Okay so there's two halloween parties at my school tomorrow (one for the small kids, which i'm organising as well, and one for like all the older students) and i'm super proud of my costume so.

you gotta listen to halloween by helloween, because that is the most halloween song out there (13 minutes if creepy heavy metal perfection).

so i'm in my plague doctor mask and a dark, hooded cloak with dark red lining and an odd symbol on the chest.my fingernails are black with red, occult symbols. i'm wearing something close to a black, fingerless glove on my right hand, the fingers covered in those very same symbols. i'm carrying a wooden and gold walking stick; the shaft is filled with carvings in gold, and a golden, feathered bird head is the knob, its red eyes glinting in the light. i turn my head, take a close look--my right eye is white, utterly unhuman. if i take off my mask, you'll see that half of my face is also covered in symbols. i used to be an alchemist and meddle with things beyond mortality, and i'm paying the price.

Can’t believe I re-opened this hellsite just to put this down into words. I did a LOT of fanboying for Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter back in the day, and while I haven’t been active in the community for a good long while, still stings a bit to see all this shit coming to light. To summarize though, what did we learn in the past 48-72 hours?

Wage theft is bad

Transphobia is bad

Homophobia is bad

Racism is bad

All of the above things are reprehensible, none of them cancel out or supersede each other, and no one wins when you play the Misery Olympics

Most importantly though,

Corporations aren’t your friends, no matter how public their image is. Bad stuff happens everywhere, and whatever they put on their website, no company is a “family.”

I wanted so desperately to work for Rooster Teeth when I was in college, they were one of the main reasons I got into filmmaking in the first place. Now I just feel like I dodged a bullet moving out to LA instead. Not that there aren’t inherent problems with the film industry in Hollywood, far from it. But at least there’s a union.

Everyone needs to do better. We can all point fingers until our hands fall off but it won’t solve any problems. Fix your broken system. Pay your workers. Take your own advice and Be Kind to each other. You Can Do Better. So be better.

the way I interpreted hw2 is — following the thought initially put forward by ruin that princess quest is the canon ending of sb, hw2 takes place concurrently with ruin ( if slightly before by like, the ending of hw2 and the beginning of ruin overlap ) where gregory is the protagonist and the gameplay is him and vanessa trying to put an end to glitchtrap for good who in turn sets the mimic free as one final fuck you ( and likely the hope that the mimic would .... y'know, mimic afton and thus continue to carry on his eternal existence of fear and misery )

I blocked 5 today, all with a word salad of tags under their posts (it may surprise you, but I don't go into the fandom tag looking for some random stolen photo of a girl's naked ass staring right at the camera, and neither do most other people) and the same shitty description (21yo | 5'2 | size 6♌).

Either pay your moderation team better or stop claiming you don't allow porn on your site, because you have bots posting nudes in every tag without as much as getting their posts flagged as mature.

Part of what I find... ironic, if I may say so: Henry VIII's contemporaries praised how Jane Seymour was more discreet and submissive (obviously comparing Anne), but that's what makes her such a mystery today. No one knows what she was really like as a person, because she had to play all this role to keep herself as queen. This is why she is considered the least favorite of wives (and don't help some works try sell her as a sweet angel).

Well, that praise has been translated very much at face-value, very literally, so many would argue that there's no enigma.
