ARKENAS MY BELOVED!!! Hes Filipino because i said so JKSDHDS

Hes wearing a zoot suit which is a suit originated from african americans and would become popular with italians, filipinos, mexicans etc AND LIKE ITS PERFFECT FOR ARKENAS Because this type of suits were typically worn by performers due to how its easy to move around in AND HE himself is a performer as hes a very well known magician and illusionist!

Hes more of a sillay guy always looking to entertain people, but his magical performances got so good that people were struggling discerning what was real or not, enough that he was was given the title of master!

He always tries to befriend Magnus but always kinda fails at it JKHDHSD

Magnus!!! He wasnt always so serious and brooding, in fact, he was a slick playboy back in the days. But because of uhhh many plotlines and backstory that will take too long to explain hes always feels sad and empty despite not knowing why...😲

IMOGEN MY BELOVED!!! She comes from Ireland!!

Shes known for her experimental ways of doing Alchemy, for not sticking to rules and regulations and doing whatever she wants, and in that way she had become the embodiment of alchemy in a way it is all about risky experimentation and she goes through with it because she likes the thrill!!

Because of this she had done many contributions to the field of Alchemy, despite being deemed "unproffesional" by others

She also likes to do flirty teasing with Valentina because she thinks its cute how she reacts and crumbles HEHE

VALENTINA!!!!! ONE OF MY FAV DESIGNS IVE EVER MADE🥺 Im so happy with the way she looks!! She was initially gonna be the master of ALL the elements, but because her design turned out too look more Earthy and Firey, i only made her master of that!

She has like rich posh aristocracy vibes and owns various fashion businesses while also doing her duties as a magicia master! �� SLAY

As for her design i really wanted to give of posh businesswoman whos also fashionable!

Lowkey has a crush on Imogen but is in denial <3 Valentina is also besties with Kazemi and they like to gossip all the drama over tea <3

Ive actually done quite abit of research on her name AND KAZEMI IS LITERALLLY THE MOST PERFECT NAME BECAUSE IT MEANS WATER OR WIND WHICH IS WHERE SHES MASTER AT...,, AND TOMIKAWA MEANS RICHES AND ALSO RIVER OR STREAM AND LIKE IT RELATES TO HER BECAUSE SHES WORKED SO HARD TO GET TO HER POSITION AS SHE ALWAYS KNEW SHE WAS DESTINED FOR PROSPERITY AND WEALTH RAAAA but if anyone like actually knows more abt japanese names and thinks that the name could be improved PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO DM 🙏

But yes due to how she more on the polite and demure side and her magic being water and wind, shes more underestimated and seen as more 'weak' than the others. But just how the seas can be gentle and also be a terrifying, great force, she can be too 🥺

Shes trying to court Samara btw 🥺 she relates to Samara in a way where their magic is underestimated due to how it looks "harmless", but both actually having the ability to do great harm if you know how to do it. Shes seen that Samara can do harm and damage if she wanted to, and she was like 'i want her" JKSDHJSHD

SAMARA!!! 🥺 Shes more of the precise, rational, proffesional type! Always wanting everything to be clean and pristine, thats why she mainly wears white. Shes also Arabic :D

Shes known as one of the greatest healers in the world, known for her quickness and precision, basically knows every body part and muscle and veins and how to heal it as well as how to damage it!! ^-^

As for her veil type i used a niqab! Well a half niqab specifically, as it doesnt cover the entire half of the body. Their design is influenced by Arabic fashion as well as like nurse doctor outfits in the 1900s :D

Figuring out her name was a bit tricky because im not familiar with Arabic names and i also didnt want to go to babynames.com for it because i know its a bit more complicated but i managed to get help from friends who are more qualified n knowledgable about arabic names😭 THANK YOU @lastcookieontheplate MY DEAR FRIEND

AND AND she doesnt want to admit it but she gets flustered and blushy whenever Kazemi does her courting attempts <3 HEEHEE

Dropping the latest Patreon Sketch-a-Wish for May! The opening scene for The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, featuring Cinder, Kai, Iko (who is basically an EVE/Wall-E love-child), an unconscious Nainsi and a bunch of easter egg items, as requested in our poll. (can you point them out?)

This was definitely one where the background itself was its own character; There's so much happening here and it's very nuanced to the context of the scene. I think those who aren't familiar with the book will have a hard time figuring out what's happening here - but seriously, caption this artwork: "Doting dad drops off his two android kids at day camp where the youngest has already stolen the cyborg foot off of the caretaker." ... and it still works. 😂

In order to fish for Easter Egg items, I re-listed to the Lunar Chronicles for the first time since I first read them a few years back; they were my gateway series into the bookish community and I absolutely fell in love with it all over again! I have Gilded on my TBR shortlist, and just recently listed to Heartless last month. I'm definitely on a Meyer bender, with the fabulous Rebecca Soler (the narrator) to keep me company!

[Yogtober 2023] Day 1: Beginnings

I created a new style for myself for drawing the clones and its so crazy easy. So here meet the boys of Mariden.

Description of the boys below the cut

Top row, left to right:

Rocker: proclaimed by his brothers as the "best medic on the whole GAR," Rocker is creative, compassionate, resourceful, and very very good at coming up with devious prank ideas. He and Claptrap are inseparable and often if one is up to mischief, the other isn't far behind. Rocker's creativity also comes in handy when they run out of important medical supplies. He knows exactly what to use as a substitute and rest assured that he will find the perfect plant or herb from the forests of Mariden to cure what ails you.

Dagger: with a temper to rival that of Darth Maul, Dagger is hands down the strongest member of this squad. He's terrifying when he's angry and if he somehow becomes the victim of Claptrap and Rocker's latest prank, they'd better run and hide. Despite his gruff exterior, Dagger does care for his brothers and will do anything to protect them, especially Scrap. Though the two of them have vastly different personalities, you can usually find the two of them working on a new weapon in Scrap's workshop or spotting each other in the gym.

Sarge: this poor man needs a nap like nobody's business but the only way he'll take one is if Rocker sedates him. Sarge doesn't have a temper like Dagger but he's not the warmest man on base either. Gruff and stern, Sarge has a rough past that taught him a lot - some lessons good, some bad - but no matter how bad his past, he's focused to the here and now and making sure his current squad doesn't kill themselves on accident. He may not show it a lot but he loves his men and will gladly lay down his life to keep them safe.

Claptrap: the personification of "chaotic hot mess," Claptrap serves as two things at the Mariden station: the communications officer, and the resident prank expert. He loves a good joke or prank and will target anyone (except Rocker; the last time he tried that didn't go over so well). Despite his desires for laughter and practical jokes, Claptrap knows when any one of his brothers is having a bad day and will do whatever he can to help them and cheer them up. He'll tell them stories, make them a cup of caf, or take them outside on a hike. Even if the forests of Mariden can be dangerous, Claptrap is one with nature and is the perfect hiking guide. He loves art and has a handmade journal cataloging the various creatures he spots, and more often than not can be found hanging with Rocker in the med bay.

Scrap: clever, creative, and too curious for his own good, Scrap began tinkering while still on Kamino. Give him a broken Droid, and handful of old tools and about ten minutes and he'll have that Droid up and running like it was brand new. However, his inventions don't always work the way he intended them to, but he's determined to learn from his mistakes and never stop improving. And though brilliant he may be, his common sense and sense of self preservation aren't always in tact. Sarge has had to ban more than one of Scrap's ideas or prototypes due to safety reasons, but that doesn't stop Scrap from trying. You can most always find him in one of two places: in his workshop, or wherever Dagger is.

Visor: by far the most quiet natured clone you'll ever meet, Visor is probably the most mentally collected person in the whole squad (usually anyway). He's got a gentle nature and a heart full of compassion and if any of the boys need an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on, Visor is gladly there for them. Even Sarge comes to him fairly often to let off some steam. He's not that hard to find: look for him on the lookout tower or out on the landing platform outside, patrolling the area and keeping an eye out for any droids or dangerous animals. He's ever vigilante and won't let anything that could hurt his brothers get past him.

Type of commission: As of right now, I only sell digital art commissions. Clients will receive a digital file of the artwork in .png format via email at 300 dpi. No physical copies of the piece are included.

Payment: All payments are made via Paypal or Venmo in USD. For color and illustration pieces, 50% payment is required upfront. (For previous clients: my paypal info has changed since my last post, so please double check with me before sending anything! Thank you)

General Guidelines:

Please include several visual references of the desired subject and a description (body type, pose preference, lighting, mood, face claims, etc.) Feel free to include pinterest boards if you have any!

I can draw: humanoid/human OCs, pets, tasteful nudity, mild gore/injury, fanart, and ship art.

I will not draw: furries (I'm just terrible at drawing them unfortunately), mecha, explicit nsfw, or extreme gore.

Limited number of changes can be made at no additional cost during the WIP and sketch phase.

Commission may take up to 4 weeks. Client will be notified of any delays.

Simple backgrounds included at no extra charge, complex backgrounds start at $30.
