A little HC post on Scotty x Uhura JUST BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THIS ACCOUNT TO COMPLETELY DIE LOL (this is written in mind for older!Scotty and older!Uhura BUT interpret it however u want ^w^)

- Scotty has never minded having rough, calloused hands, if anything he's taken pride in it! He's an engineer, one who's put in many, many years of hard work. It's a symbol of what he's done- what he does. But.. yet, he can't help but feel a bit self conscious when he finds himself contrasting his own hands to Uhuras. Soft, thin, beautiful- not without a few small notes of their own, but for the most part simply perfect.

And in contrast to his it makes him feel.. well, imperfect, he'd suppose. She deserves a lot better than an old engineer with scars and dents like the ol' Enterprise herself.

But Uhura eventually does notice how his smile shortens, or his grip softens momentarily, or he has to quickly glance elsewhere when they hold hands. And upon finally learning why he does this, his, what he thought to be, unimportant feelings.. she, takes his hands gently into her own, and lifts them to her lips; Offering the most warm of kisses.

"You're perfect, Scotty." Against his hand, Scotty could feel her smile. His cheeks felt a rush of heat that roused a small, bashful wheeze out of him.

"A-ah, I don't know about that, Lass-"

"But you are." Her eyes flicked upwards, and she finally allowed his hands to fall; But intertwined with her own. She stepped forward, their bodies bumping together. "And if I have to tell you every single day I see you? Well, then it'll be a priority one for me." Uhura stood up as high as she could, whispering against his ear in a way that sent tickles up his spine.

"Until you see yourself the way I see you."

the rough childhood trio with their childhood pets. (each of these gets a couple sentences of variably cryptic context-- all up for interpretation, of course. in my head these are all bittersweet ^^)

i-chaya wasn't supposed to be at school, technically, but amanda had a talk with the teachers, and they concluded that it was logical to allow i-chaya to continue to accompany spock to school, when his performance showed such marked improvement when she was around.

sometimes, during intervals between lessons, which were always timed precisely for optimal development of social skills, spock would sit cross-legged in a corner of the schoolyard, and i-chaya would sink down onto the red sand beside him and nudge at his cheek with her damp nose, and spock would reach up into her coarse, thick coat and press his forehead into the safety of her fur until the stinging remarks of the other children would melt and fall away in the harsh vulcan sun.

"he's up there in the stars, jamie. whenever you feel like you're on your own, just look up at the night sky and count the stars. he would've been so proud of you."

james tiberius kirk read, once, that pigs were unable to look up at the sky. from then on, he made sure to prop all of the pigs on the farm up every so often, so that they could look at the stars with him. for his birthday, his mother knit him two matching sweaters with stars on the chest-- one for him, and the other for wilbur (the grandpiglet of the sow she tripped over a decade ago).

bones was raised, essentially, by the large, calico barncat who lived on the mccoys' farm. she had not been named, and she wouldn't let anyone else touch her-- only bones.

when he was a baby, she curled up beside him in his crib with her tail around his ankle to stop him from crawling out and hurting himself.

when he got older, on difficult days, she would grab him by the sock and drag him to the old rocking chair in the attic and curl up on his lap and bite at his fingers until he could bring himself to pet her, and then she would purr and purr as he stroked through her warm, soft fur and rocked himself better in the big rocking chair. if anyone tried to drag bones away, she would hiss and yowl and bat vehemently at the intruding hands until he could be left alone.

Spock was an incredibly talkative baby. Like, nearly from the day he was born. He cried as a newborn-- something most Vulcan children didn't do, something that Amanda was secretly quite pleased by as it was her own, personal little sign that he had inherited some of her humanity afterall. All through his toddlerhood he'd babbled constantly, and Sarek would nod pensively as if these discussions were quite insightful. "Indeed, Spock, that is quite true," he would confirm stiffly as his son would squeal and babble. "Exceedingly logical, my son." Amanda found these exchanges endlessly entertaining.

At times, Sybok, Michael, Amanda, and Sarek would all sit quietly and watch as little Spock stumbled about their living room, rambling in his own unknown language as he explored around the room.

He quieted down, eventually, as all Vulcan children are taught to, something that silently broke his mother's heart, but Amanda will never deny an opportunity to show what few holograms she managed to capture of that phase-- much to McCoy's delight and Spock's mortification.

Weird Kinky HCs: Romulan Touch

Romulans have hyper-sensitive senses, especially touch. While they may be unable to read thoughts they can still feel the pulses. They can manipulate the chemical responses to certain stimuli or cut off the response entirely. Tal Shiar operatives can use it as a way to keep themselves from feeling too much pain or spark a dopamine hit when needed. (Similar to Garak's chip.)

They are a deeply passionate species, and interpersonal relationships are no different. They use it as a way of establishing dominance in the relationship. Romulans would either cut off or overstimulate their mates' senses, controlling the build-up and release, forcing them into submission.

Generally, Romulans are very kinky, not just in the sense of overstimulation. "Mate Taming" (or Brat Taming) with bondage would be a huge part of Romulan Mating Rituals. After chemically subduing their mate they would bind them in ropes (similar to shibari) and drag them back to their nests.

Imagine your ship has been taken over by Romulans and you are selected by one of the officers to be their mate. You absolutely refuse but the advances don't stop. One day you are cornered by them in your cell, they grip your face tightly, and a flood of endorphins overwhelms you. You collapse from the sudden change only to wake up in an unfamiliar place.

You look down to see yourself tied up tightly with a thick green rope. The officer who knocked you unconscious watches you struggle. You demand they let you go only to be laughed at. They pick you up and throw you into their bed, stalking over you. You try to push away but they force you to look at them. They whisper horrible things about breaking you and making you their obedient submissive mate, while they force more endorphins through your system and tease you.

Romulan: I can't wait to choke the life out of you.

Human: Jokes on you I'm into that!

My stupidest Spock thought is that after getting annoyed/frustrated with losing 3D chess with Jim one too many times he decides to take McCoy up on that offer to teach him Poker.

Expect he totally already knows how to play and is mainly doing it so that he can finally win a game against someone. Unfortunately McCoy is very good and Spock is on another losing streak.

So he decides to start playing 3D checkers with Chekov and he loses that too!

Turns out Spock is just very bad at Human games.

But don't worry he gets his revenge by forcing the crew to play a game of trivia where he gets every single question right, also the crew learn that Vulcan trivia can last for hours.

Could I get some Hugging headcanons with TOS Kirk?

Hugging Jim Kirk (TOS) Would Include...

*Note: this can be read as platonic

Jim is not the most affectionate person, not on duty at least. Sure, he flirts with aliens, but with his close friends, on the Enterprise, he's reserved with his affection. He saves it for special occasions and for private.

If you were ever to hug him on duty or in a very public place, he'd know something was wrong. He'd hold you and quietly ask what was wrong before bringing you somewhere more private where you could talk.

When he does hug you, though, you can bet anything it's a big, warm, long bear hug. His arms would go around your waist, hands splayed against the small of your back, and he'd lean his head against yours. His hugs would feel like being wrapped in a warm, thick blanket on a cold night: comforting, peaceful.

He'd have different kinds of hugs, though, for different occasions.

When you're sad, he would engulf you and hold you tight, rubbing your back slowly as he hummed a nursery rhyme in your ear.

When he's sad, he'd nuzzle his face into the crook of your neck. He'd stoop over a bit, leaning his weight against you for literal support.

When either of you are happy, the hug would be shorter and looser, but he'd still engulf you. His arms would always go around you the same way; always around your waist where he felt like he could hold you best. Also, by having his arms around your waist, you would be able to have yours around his shoulders/neck which he'd love. He would love for you to have a hand on the back of his neck while hugging him.

Sometimes, you'd get side hugs from him if he was teasing you about something. He'd just laugh and sling an arm around your waist, pulling you closer and jostling you a bit. You'd laugh with him, but push him off playfully, which would just make him laugh more.

I love thinking about old spones lol thank you for the ask! Sorry this got kinda long lol.

Old married spones are frequent guests on the Enterprise-D, as the Enterprise is often tasked with ferrying them to various conferences. Despite it being a different crew, they fit in well here, and the D crew love them. McCoy and Spock join the weekly poker games (McCoy always wins and Spock always loses, which Riker finds incredibly amusing). McCoy was Beverly's mentor back when she first started as a doctor, so they're fast friends and Beverly is always dragging him off to show him her latest research. Spock enjoys discussing philosophy and Shakespeare with Picard, and sometimes allows himself to pretend he is talking to his father. Guinan fixes McCoy his favorite drink--the best mint julep in the galaxy--and they laugh about old times. Data invites both of them over to his quarters often, as McCoy and Spock both have an interest in his art, his conversation, and his cat. Geordi is one of the few people who can make McCoy laugh uproariously, which Spock enjoys watching much more than he would ever admit. Deanna shares her favorite chocolate recipes with Spock, who has never quite been able to suppress his sweet tooth. Worf and Spock share a quiet cup of tea together - or at least it would be quiet if McCoy didnt insist on regaling Worf with stories of his ancestor (McCoy's attorney). Neither of them say anything though because they both find it endearing. Lower deckers line up in the hallways to get a chance to witness the infamous spones banter.

It feels a lot like home.

And the best part - no one realized they were married except for Beverly, who already knew, and Deanna, who could tell right away how they felt about each other and teases them about it often. Deanna happens to mention it during a meeting one time and the entire ship just about loses their minds. Until then, they had thought they were just constantly stuck on missions together and were barely tolerating each other.

Spones are amused when they learn this because at their age, this happens all the time and it never ceases to be fun.
