Hello! I am back from the dead!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here—not out of a lack of want, but more out of a lack of motivation. In that time, though, I’ve been testing out art styles, trying to find one that’s more horror-centric. So that’s what I have here!

Hehe can you share the context of the Alupa sketch where Al is denying liking Lupa but they’re like wrestling or something

Oh yeah this one? Well ig first of all it’s a loose reference to this from Princess Mononoke:

So that was one of the main inspirations. There’s no specific plot point atm where this interaction actually happens, but they do have a very conflicted back and forth before they get together for real, so the drawing is more of like “this could be something they said/did during that time”. If anything it would happen right after Lupa finally confesses her feelings, and Al is in a state of “are you kidding me??” because she just finally ‘got over’ her own feelings for Lupa lol.

Also they’re wrestling bc I’m gay about that kind of thing (and bc Al and Lupa have this weird gym bro rivalry [you see, they’re also gay about that kind of thing]). I hope that makes sense!
