Little lore ramble lol

Starstride was based on one of my other characters and Mechs C.Y.L.A.S experiment. He is the result of a complete mind transfer using altered human tech/modified decepticon tech. Conducted with the remnants of Mechs cybertronian technology and the inclusion of another much larger lab with the means to assist Mechs smaller operation, Starstride was born. Using one of the deceased Starscream clones, a dying humans mind was put into the reconstructed and modified cybertronian form.

The human in question, Axel, had been suffering from an incurable disease for a very long time, and as no cure had been found in that time he’d accepted that he was going to die. Not knowing what time he had left he pushed his family away in an effort to protect them, at least in his mind. Science being his original study, he wrapped himself up in it, applying for a seemingly innocent lab where his studies had the chance to mean something even at most minimal. When he was accepted he poured every ounce of himself into his work. Physically he couldn’t do much, but science? Schematics? Studies? He could do that. Seeing that Axel had no means of defending himself, and that he was to pass on any given day, he was tricked and used in the SS.01 conversion experiment. Axel, now Starstride and managing escape, has to learn to live and cope with a new future after his acceptance of not having one at all.

🌟 - Jade took notice of the young man before her, standing up quickly, giving him a warm smile and a wave.

"Hi!- I would probably be the human you heard about, yeah..- I believe I'v heard about you as well.. Noir, right?- I've wanted to introduce myself, but of course I was too shy to say anything."

"But.. On the topic of your question, I'm.. well, to put it simply, as I explained to that... interesting knight, I'm not from that galaxy at all—not even that dimension."

Jade snapped her fingers, and beside her a small portal opened.

In the view of the rift stool a small field and an old-looking and rather large house.

"This is where I grew up. It's.. Sort of akin to Another Dimension. It's called a Riftal Archipelago, and it's like a series of islands between dimensions. I'm not sure if this is how the story goes in your world, but the people of Planet Popstar—the humans who lived there after they left Halcandra—had left and arrived at this strange between-dimension. So.. They set up camp there. So while I may not have grown up on Popstar or Shiver Star, I have family roots in Popstar."

She sighed quietly—she wanted to answer his whole question, but she was slightly dreading the second bit.

"As for the next bit-"

The portal zipped shut and she grew visibly upset.

Finally, she spoke up in a quiet—yet audible—whisper.

"I did make it out. Probably not from what you're referring to, but... A conflict started between my family's island and my aunt's island, and... Well, battle broke out and I ran away from home after my mom was killed, and..."

She sighed shakily. "I made it out. But I almost died doing so, and in a moment of panic I opened a portal and.. I wound up in Dreamland, leaving behind my siblings and my dad. And... I had to live with the fact that they were without me and my mom."

She shook her head. "But.. things are a lot better now and we ended the war. So... Life sure isn't easy, but.. I still made it, right?-"

She smiled. "So.. Yeah, there's my sob story. How about you?- What was life on Shiver Star like, if you don't mind my asking?-"

Jade gave Fal a big hug again, holding him out with a smile.

"How cool is that?- You're still keeping on!"

"I'm excited for rhe next setup too-if I remember correctly, second chances are soon. Not going to lie, I'm a bit-er, a lot nervous, but... kinda excited?- How are you feeling?"

Before he could even say a greeting, Fal was taken by Jade and since he was already used to it, he returned the hug with a smile while Snow White took out a small confetti cannon from somewhere. When she pulled the cord, a lot of confetti was shot, although the noise of the small object scared Fal, who looked around in fear only to calm down a few seconds after recognizing that there was no danger

“T-Thank you, Jade and Snow...! It's still hard to believe... Fal... Fal is happy! But, very nervous... A lot has happened and... Wait, the second chance are near, pon!? Oh, Fal is sure you'll get that second chance! You will do great!! You deserve to win, pon!!”

“I agree with Fal. A second chance is not something that is granted to everyone… I trust that you will make it far..."

“Otherwise, at least you won't leave empty-handed, pon! Maybe you haven't won, but you won several friends, pon!!”
