Hello! I was wondering if you knew of a good food enabler tutorial? I just started making recipes and i wanted to make a food enabler for them but i can't find a tutorial for it anywhere. Can you help please?

Hello, I don't remember seeing any food enabler tutorial, but if you just need to use it to trigger the recipe menu and don't plan on doing anything complicated yet, it's pretty easy to make one.

Below the cut is a guide of some general process.

A food enabler is like a mini version of a stove or a fridge, so as a reference you can study how those "Cook" "Bake" interactions on stoves works. 

It has two main parts: getting the cooking interactions to show up on the pie menu, and the start cooking interactions themselves.

(I don't know how familiar you are with modding, since recipe creating already covers the necessary basics, I'll skip the detailed step-by-step instructions.)

1.

After you finish creating the enabler object, you need to give it an object tunning, which adds interaction options to the object when you click on it. 

You can open the .package of my Amellce's Custom Food Enabler and look at the "amellce:object_foodEnabler" tuning for reference.  It basically does nothing but add the menu to the object, so it should be easy to understand.

At the bottom is a _super_affordances list, which contains several StartCrafting interactions. Those are the cooking interactions that appear when you click on the object, such as "Cook..." "Bake..." on the stove or "Make Wagashi..." on my food enabler.

So you will need to create your own StartCraftingSuperInteractions, which is used to trigger your own recipe list and let the sims start cooking. For this you can refer to the EA tuning "stove_StartCrafting" and clone it as a base for your own tuning.

The important part is the recipes list at the bottom of the StartCrafting interaction. Replace them with your own recipe TuningIds.

The rest part of the tuning allows you to set other things, such as the display_name of your interaction, like "Cook..." " Bake..." or "Homestyle..."" Dessert..." etc. I suggest looking at TDESC to check what each setting does and edit them to suit your own needs.

Depending on your needs, you may need to make several StartCraftingSuperInteractions, such as RequiredIngredients version for the Simple Living lot challenge, OffTheGrid version and GroupCooking version. You can still check the corresponding stove StartCrafting interactions to see what their differences are.

If you want the pie menu to provide different options for different food/cook categories, such as Homestyle/Gourmet/Desserts, you will need to repeat the above steps to create different StartCraftingSuperInteractions for each of them.

Once you have finished the StartCraftingSuperInteractions, you can go back to the object tuning of your enabler and put the TuningIds of your StartCraftingSuperInteractions in the _super_affordances list. 

At this point you should be able to click on your food enabler in the game, choose the recipe from the list and have the sim start cooking.

The above is the basic process to make a simple food enabler. I'm not good at explaining things in English, hope this is understandable. In my opinion a food enabler is much much easier than a recipe, I guess you can understand most things by just referring around. Hope this helps!

How to Fix StartCraft 2 Crashing

After that, choose the Scan and Repair option.

After starting the scanning procedure, you need to view the progress box.

It is available on the at the end of the display.

By resetting In-Game Options

Open the Blizzard app.

Press on the symbol.

It is available at the upper left-hand corner of the display.

Press on the Blizzard app.

After the settings tab gets launched, press on the Game settings tab.

You will get the game settings on the screen.

You need to go down and find the StartCraft2 option.

After loading the settings tab, press on the Reset In-Game Options button.

Press on the Done button.

Start the Blizzard app once again.

You need to execute the In-game.

     By updating graphics drivers

Once you have installed the Display Driver Uninstaller menu, you need to open the system in your safe mode.

Once you have opened the DDU, choose the first option, which is named as the “Clean and restart” option.

It will uninstall all the drivers that are currently available.

Once you have uninstalled it, start rebooting the system.

Click on the Windows and R keys together.

Enter “devmgmt.msc” in the prompt box.

Click on the Enter button.

You need to right-click on the empty area.

Choose the Search for hardware changes option.

Now, the default drivers get successfully installed on the system.

Find the graphics drivers, and you need to right click on it.

Press on the Update Driver option.

Once you have installed the default drivers, you need to start the system again.

You have to check whether this issue has been fixed or not.

Day 20 - Favorite genre.

It is much easier to mention what genre’s I don’t like. Let’s do that instead.

I have never been a fan of sports. I don’t understand it. I can’t see the point in everyone running after the same ball. It gives me an understanding for how people could have a hard time to understand games. So, no sports games please.

Another genre that doesn’t interest me at all is the e-sports. Competitive multiplayer is a complete mystery to me. I can see how others find it fun but I prefer an experience over a competition.

I find first person shooter quite boring. I think that’s because almost every game in the 90′s were a Quake clone, and I’m kind of done with that. I rarely play any FPS games anymore.

When Command & Conquer 1 came out that was the most interesting thing that had happened since chess, but I quickly got tired fo the whole RTS genre. I’ve played C&C and Red Altert titles but I’ve burned out, and even if I tried Startcraft 2 when it came out, I never found any joy in it.

The last genre I’m going to mention that is incomprehensible to me are the rogue likes. I seldom find the fun, I never understand what to do, or why I should do it.

There are more genres that I don’t play, like singing games, fitness games, racing games, simulation games (for the most part), crafting games like Minecraft or Terraria. But these were the ones I chose to bring up.
