Arthur can do many great things as an artificer, he can infuse Arcane magic into objects, cast spells, he can even harden his stomach against most common poisons, but the one thing he cannot do is outrun the Capital City Army after his light fingers come across a secret book of forbidden magic. And if he hopes to survive the crossing of the La Tantahi Desert that stretches out in front of him outside the city automated gates, he’ll need to hire a gunslinger.

Kaptain Sabeltann (Captain Sabertooth) is my childhood okay. There is so much - it was everywhere!! There are books, audio-books with songs, a tv-series, a movie, musicals, a theme park!! and an ice cream!! I fucking loved Kaptain Sabeltann, I would dress up as him all the time when I was younger. He is a vibe - the best anti-hero. My friends and I also still play the music at parties 🙈 Here is a taste of Kaptein Sabeltann for people interested.

What would a steampunk AU!engport look like? 👀

Both are (in) famous bounty hunters that met in a mission with the same client; and while the client wanted Portugal for something more *winkwink*, Arthur got offense in his name because he was HIS friend; and without telling he killed the client and ran together.

After some adventures in different cities, Port lost an arm and Arthur a hand experimenting with machines. In some extreme situations they saved each other's life twice and then, after a couple of years, both fell in love and got married, with an image like Bonnie and Clyde.

And yes I made it all up now 8D.

I also think Hetalia pairs well with special interests. There's fanon material for every hyperfixation under the sun. You like rococo? Here's Francis in 16 ridiculous outfits. Chinese medicine? Song dynasty court drama w/ Yao. Heavy metal? Nordic 5 band AU. D&D? UK bros in a steampunk fairytale setting. Catholic guilt? 17th century Prussia-centric found family angst. RomComs? LietBel retelling of ur favorite musical. Events like the World Cup & Olympics? Too easy. Literally anything! Nerdy shit, obscure shit, dumb shit. We gotchu.

Where else am I supposed to get material that appeals to my taste in absurdist humor, an ethnically diverse cast of misfits set anywhere in the world, in any time period, exploring any theme I want?

This is also a good point! Looking back, I realize Hetalia was one of my first special interests.

Hetalia really is like a playhouse with dozens of dolls you can play pretend with. 😆 You can do whatever you want and tailor it to your own personal tastes and hyperfixations.

Prompts given are just examples and not definite.

Disneytalia Event:

-Based on Disney animation, so stuff like their Disney Princess movies, Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Zootopia, Aristocats, etc. I'd also like the main focus to be on actual Disney and not so much on their bought properties.

-Can be Disney AUs with the HWS characters or HWS characters interacting with Disney characters either, but the HWS character must be the focus!

Nyo England Event:

A week about Nyo England. Prompts may involve things like hobbies, AUs, pets, styles, jobs etc. Other characters can be involved, but Nyo England must be the focus.

Nyo America Event:

A week about Nyo England. Prompts may involve things like hobbies, AUs, pets, styles, jobs, etc. Other characters can be involved, but Nyo England must be the focus.

Nyo Girls Fashion Event:

Different styles from different time periods (including modern). Prompts could be things like punk, Y2K, lolita, steampunk, scene, gothic, mori kei, traditional dress, 1920s, 1800s, 1700s, medieval, etc.

HWS Yandere Event:

Prompts could be things like expressions, weapons, love confessions, secret admirer, obsession, collections, shrine, anonymous letters, gushing, two yanderes, etc. This may be a darker week, but let's try to be considerate with it, okay? I'll probably have to come up with several rules for this one. 😆

HWS Magical Girl Event:

Starring Nyotalia girls and og Hetalia girls!

The idea would be to draw them either

-in the outfits of specific magical girls (e.g. Mew Ichigo, Pretty Witch Doremi, Amulet Heart, Lunatic Charm)

-in outfits based on the costumes from specific magical girl shows (Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody, Shugo Chara, Ojamajo Doremi, Rozen Maiden, Winx Club)

-your own original designs inspired by the magical girl style in general.
