Author vs 2023
I published three books, each one in a different series, crafted two special editions, released the Phantom and Room audiobook narrated by Kirt Graves, and the Realm of Giants audiobook narrated by Jacob Buchholz.
I worked with some fantastic artists, including @foxglovefaun who did the Matsdotter and Adrastus cover, Fantasy Sprite Studios who did the special edition covers of The Eternal Machine and Realm of Giants, and some Lysander fan art. Another year and more gorgeous @gagakumadraws to add to the roster, including The Rebel Foxes cover, Silas art, and chibi stickers of Quentin and Elochian. Last but not least, Thatch Phantom art by trxvonn_ on IG, which I love with all my heart.
I had the opportunity to work with some other great creators that I currently can't name, but you know who you are 👀👀
I connected with SO MANY fellow authors, began work on a collaborative project, and had the privilege of seeing my books fill up library shelves and take space on Libby.
And my dear readers. Where did you all come from? Whether you've been here since the beginning or you're brand new, I appreciate each and every one of you. You make it all worth it.
I'm planning on releasing two books next year, one in early summer and the other in late fall, and sprinkling short stories in between. I've been running full speed since I began this journey, and it's about time I slow down. I'm always afraid I'll fall behind, that I won't be relevant because I don't release as quickly as some authors. But that's not the case, and to give the best stories that I can I've decided slow and steady is the way to go.

I have decided to pull my debut steampunk fantasy series. The Eternal Machine was my first love, and inside it's pages hold all the mistakes I made as a new author and all the lessons I learned. These characters and their stories have been well loved, and I am so proud of the world I created and the person I became while writing them.
Which is why I'm going to republish them.
I've decided to combine the novellas with the novels, arranging the story in a total of three epic books with multiple POV in each one. New covers, polishing and editing, and more content.
The old copies will be available for two months, at which point I'll delist them and announce a release date for this new adventure.
I want to say thank you to all my readers that stuck with me through my learning curve, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Some design and worldbuilding notes from the Steampunk Space Pirates AU
Starships, such as 'The Flying Jellie', are powered by aethercores, which are these giant crystals full of energy. If two crystals touch, it sends out a pulse of energy that, if harnessed correctly, can power an entire vessel. Larger ships require larger/more crystals; entire warships, such as those under the Red King's command, are powered with 3-5 large crystals. While highly extremely resistant, a broken or unrefined aethercore is extremely volatile, and replacing/repairing a core can be dangerous.
