Masters of the Air x Hogwarts AU
Bucky Egan
Tumblr media
is DEFINITELY the biggest prankster and the life of the party
will get wasted and sleep on the couch in Gryffindor's common room until McGonagall slap some senses to him at 4 pm, giving him a speech about being a Head Boy lalalalala
had a special pre-Quidditch match ritual which includes fire whisky, astronomy tower, and a special attention from a specific Hufflepuff's prefect
is very famous and (sometimes) well-respected
his Patronus is definitely either a cheetah or a lion
sometimes challenge the Fat Lady for a sing-off (you don't wanna know who wins)
thinks of the first-years as a tiny lil weaklings, but doesn't realize that many first-years idolize him
Buck Cleven
Tumblr media
a stellar student, excels his OWLs ("What, like it's hard?"). the next Head Boy's candidate
he's like that one calm and reserve student, very handsome, good at what he does, humble and kind... so distant and unreachable
no one really gets close to him despite being all kind and smile... unless a certain Gryffindor beater
but that's another story
McGonagall always says his name as a student example
"Mr. Cleven is very bright for his age, he casts difficult spells easily..."
yes, it's true that he doesn't drink, but he silently loves to accompany someone to drink. you know
his Patronus is either a stallion or a swan...
he's very good with plants and magical creatures, obviously
Rosie Rosenthal
Tumblr media
half of the school knows that the Head Boy title will be given to Rosie. the other half is rooting for Buck
another exemplary student, even more obvious because he's a Ravenclaw. a point-scoring machine, duh
cast his Greyhound Patronus at the first try
when he wins a Quidditch match, he always starts his speech with, "This victory wouldn't happen without a foundation of hard work and dedication from this team..."
is actually a very good Quidditch strategist and suitable for a career, although he wants to be an Auror (who doesn't?)
also doesn't drink, but very fond of a certain drink his Muggle friend smuggles, he's like addicted
it's called Coka Colla or something
Harry Crosby
Tumblr media
oh
the Crosby
he was quite invisible during his first 3 years in Hogwarts, but when he defeated the undefeated dueler in his 4th year, he became popular
like very popular. even he's nominated to be the head of the Dueling Club
a very pretty boy... he's a bit shy, but people around him have given him tons of support
he's secretly one of Dumbledore's favorite student
Patronus is a brown hare, that's for sure. shy but not to be underestimate
doesn't play Quidditch because he has a severe air sickness... which also doesn't allow him to Apparate/Disapparate often, unfortunately

What’s this? A non-Arcane related post?? Yeahhhh….
Two pieces I did for my parents this holiday season. A Clark’s Nutcracker and Stellar’s Jay for my mom. Shes a birder, and when we went to Wyoming this past fall, those were the two birds she was hoping to see but wasn’t able to get a clear view of them.
The cheetah cubs and bear for my dad. When my sister and I were little, we’d play a game called Cheetah-Bear with him. It was just tag/keep away, but we had to give it a special name 😆 We were the cheetahs. He was the bear.
Thanks for looking! 😘
Below are photos of the birds’ painting progression

Despite his difficulties, David did finally earn a promotion to level 2 of the Acrobat career. With this came a new uniform for Cheetah McGee.
Tumblr media
Cheetah put on a stellar performance at the Botanical Gardens; too bad there was no one around to see it, and really too bad there was no one around to drop a little something in the tip jar.
Well, back to the Summer Festival it is, buddy. There don't seem to be any proprietor map tags for you yet, so this is the job: Making an ass of yourself in public for little or no pay.
Tumblr media
Cheetah McGee found his audience and worked hard to impress them. He juggled knives. He juggled torches. He pretended to be waiting for a bus that was late; he pretended to be doing some deep thinking, which may have been harder than juggling the knives.
And at the end of the day, he had earned §39: one Simolean less than he earned his first day on the job, when he still struggled to pantomime being trapped in a box.
How the fuck did he earn less by doing more? Is he living in this economy?!

How to Choose the Best Solar Panels for Your Home
The right solar panels can help you power your home with green energy for decades to come. But not all options are created equal—each brand has its own level of efficiency, rate of degradation and warranty.
Panasonic has a solid reputation for making reliable TVs and small appliances, but it also makes top-notch solar panels. Its EVERVOLT models are a favorite for their longevity and low degradation rates.
1.        Qcells
Qcells is one of the most affordable solar panel manufacturers on the market. Their panels have above-average efficiency ratings and a great product warranty. Their solar leases and PPAs are ideal for households looking to save money while switching to clean energy.
When it comes to solar panel durability, QCells puts their panels through rigorous stress tests to ensure they hold up in harsh weather. They also use anti-PID technology to prevent hot spots and reduce degradation rates, which can impact the power production of a solar panel.
The ML-G10+ and BLK-G10+ series of QCells solar panels have above-average maximum snow loads and wind load capacities. This makes them an excellent choice for homeowners in high-wind areas and snowfall zones. Their degradation rates are below the average for tier-one solar panels as well, which can help them stand up to extreme conditions.
2.        SunPower
SunPower has won top marks for solar panels through its Maxeon line, and for its power guarantees and warranties. It also manufactures its own battery backup system, the SunVault. These in-house products allow for a more cohesive solar energy system.
SunPower also ranks highly for customer support and satisfaction. Its support options include live chat, phone service and a knowledge base. Its BBB rating and accreditation, ratio of complaints to reviews and Trustpilot and Google review scores also scored well.
The company offers its solar panels with 40 years of product and performance warranty. This is longer than most competitors offer. Its sleek black panels blend into your roof and are recommended for homeowners concerned about aesthetics. The panels are also rated to have a low temperature coefficient.
3.        Jinko
One of the biggest solar panel manufacturers in the world, Jinko is known for its high quality and durability. Its solar panels earn a “Excellent” rating on the PVEL reliability scorecard and have impressive warranties that can provide peace of mind for decades to come.
Its admirable failure rate is no coincidence — it is the result of extensive testing conducted in its own UL-accredited module test hubs and R&D labs. Additionally, they conduct due diligence on their materials suppliers and processes to ensure only the highest-quality components make it into their products.
The company’s latest iterations, like the Tiger N-type and Neo TOPCon series, feature innovative cell technologies to enhance efficiency without escalating costs. Jinko’s older Cheetah and Eagle models are also worth considering for their affordability, reliability, and warranties.
4.        Trina
Trina solar panels are a great choice for people looking to get the most out of their system. They have high efficiencies and excellent durability ratings. They also have a 25-year production warranty.
Their temperature coefficient is -0.37%/degC which is pretty standard across the industry. They have a high output capacity as well with most models reaching more than 400W in power.
The Vertex S+ is the company’s best solar panels, and it can reach a peak efficiency of 22.5%. It uses their new N-type i-TOPCon cell technology which is super pure and durable.
Trina is a Tier One manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. However, this designation mainly looks at financial stability which doesn’t necessarily indicate quality and performance. Trina also has a stellar reputation in the industry and is known to hold their products to high standards.
5.        Canadian Solar
Canadian Solar is another big player in the market with quality products and strong warranties. The company offers a broad range of residential panels, but its breadand-butter are the HiKu models. These use mono or polycrystalline silicon cells in 108, 120, 132, or 144 half-cells.
Their peak efficiencies are rated at 21%, which is right in line with industry standards. They also offer a 25-year production guarantee at 85% and a -0.34% temperature coefficient, which is a good value.
The company’s budget-friendly HiDM models aren’t quite as good, however. They have lower efficiency ratings and a slightly higher degradation rate than HiKu modules. They still provide excellent performance overall and are ideal for hightemperature or shaded environments. They’re typically backed by dual product and performance warranties in the United States.

Could I have a basic description of each OC?
Sure! Let's see...
Dzamie Deshulian - Cheetah (part dragon, but it rarely shows), very proud of himself, very fast, good at being wherever he wants to be, especially if others don't want him there. He has a number of contradicting habits/routines, because he's kinda my go-to fursona to slot into a number of fantasies. Has a thing for scales.
HM Deshulian - Dzamie's best friend, a green dragon. Size-shifter, but tends to be a bit bigger than a wolf indoors, or about the size of a small house outdoors. Much more sadistic and violent than Dzamie, but does keep himself under control... most of the time. Has a thing for katul (the furry species in Kahudra).
Mistress Dreamwalker - Anthro dragoness (half-fae, but that's not widely known), goes by "Dream" to her friends. Hoards firearms, particularly loves her Blue Carrot Launcher, which fires the chaotic, explosive blue carrots she grows herself. Mildly obsessed with YTP-style humor. In a polycule with Dzamie and HM.
Kenneth Oberon - Dzamie's rival (frenemies), and is the human's High Templar (only govt position filled by force rather than vote/appointment). Excels at destructive magic, but tries to keep a level head outside of battle. Was the most accomplished in his year of guild-certified Dragonslayers, and is now one of three of his year still alive. Dzamie thinks he's a bit of a stick in the mud. Good at necromancy, but uses it very sparingly.
Vanille - Aroma dragoness! Hatched and raised in the Dragonslayer Guild, initially slated for vivisection upon maturity. Escaped, only returning after befriending William and getting a promise to avoid the operating table. Smells very good. Kind.
William - Dragonslayer Guild alchemist, Vanille's boyfriend. Human. One of the best at poisons and antidotes. Possibly the only non-dragon that Sleek doesn't hate.
Sleek - "snake with wings" dragoness. Aggressive. Nobody's quite sure why she still stays around the Guild hall (it's because of the local hammerspace dragon), but she doesn't kill enough people to permit slaying. Possesses a very potent paralytic venom and a long, agile, and strong tongue.
Sylvia (dragon) - Hammerspace dragoness! Hangs around the Dragonslayer Guild hall, seeking scritches, strawberry treats, and people who let her eat them (temporarily; she knows the rules). Stellar example to new trainees that, yes, even harmless-looking dragons can end you if they want. Often casually horny when not playing cute for affection/treats.
Sylvia (katul) - Panther, runs her own alchemy shop. Loves to experiment with new ingredients - usually obtained through one of several vore methods (she knows enough necromancy to bring back the volunteer prey). Fate conspires to ensure she and the other Sylvia cannot ever meet. Because it's funny.
Sel'riss - Blue naga, hangs around Azurel's cave, occasionally streams himself eating people, and implies that he digests them (he doesn't - at least, not the ones he shows on camera). No strong personality yet, still transitioning him from RP character to Kahudra character.
Cloaken Dagger - Technically Dzamie's changeling disguise while visiting Equestria. Able to take a royal form, usually sticks as a green-eyed drone. Has a tendency to get involved with the Mane Six and/or the princesses.
Eris - Chaos noodle :D Eris is a deity of chaos and improbability, and Dzamie's patron goddess. A casual reality-warper, her main goal is to have fun, in whatever form that takes. She rarely forces someone's mind to change - not because she can't, but because at that point she might as well just be playing with dolls.
...uh, that took awhile. I think I'll stop with half, might do the other half tomorrow if you remind me? In the meantime, I hope this satisfies some curiosity and piques even more!

THE FRANCE...
She was the last, pure transatlantic express liner, designed to make some thirty- four round trips a year between Le Havre, Southampton, and New York.
The France was a stellar slice of larger than life unreality. Salvador Dali once walked his brace of (thankfully) tame ocelots around the Promenade Deck.
Former France Receptionist Bruno Rabreau recalls first class passenger David Bowie playing an acoustic set in excess of ten songs for the crew in their canteen, beginning with 'Space Oddity'. Apparently, some of the ship's own musicians joined in. Rabreau recalls Bowie's impromptu gig. "He was a very ordinary person. He was very friendly to us. We really enjoyed it."
Those two vignettes are typical of the kind of pose that the France struck in those final years on the Atlantic. Suitably dramatic styling for a ship that routinely carried some ninety- three different kinds of champagne on every transatlantic crossing...
