Omegaverse Political Parties

Ever wondered if there could be political parties in Omegaverse? Well, I've come up with some based upon my own worldbuild of Omegaverse! Feel free to use in your worldbuilds, with credit! These are US-based only as I am only aware of the government of the country I live in.

Real Alpha Activists (RAA) - an ultra-conservative party that has been around for a significant amount of time. Their numbers are steadily growing as more conservative Alphas wish for the progressive nature of the United States to end and return back to the “Old Way”, where Alphas are at the top and everyone else must listen to them. They are considerably unpopular, but definitely loud.

Beta Rights Coalition (BRC) - a centrist party that cares about rights and tribulations of the population of Betas only. They seek to put Betas in higher power seats, such as in the Executive branch.

Common Equity Party (CEP) - a progressive party that seeks for all classifications to be equal to one another, no matter what it takes. They have a tendency to push Omega candidates to the forefront for high political stations. They happily oppose the RAA as much as possible, and lobby to prevent any conservative laws pushed by the RAA from being turned into actual law.

Freedom from Designation Party (FDP) - an anarchist party that seeks to dissolve the classification system, believing that it has brought on more problems than helped. Believes in freedom from classifications and treating everyone equally as a result.

Designation Democratic Party (DDP) - a center-left party that actively opposes the FDP in that it wants to maintain the status quo of classifications, and more government say on how classifications should remain equal to each other.

Patriotic Egalitarian Party (PEP) - a center-right party that also actively opposes the FDP, the PEP prefers the hierarchy system they have now, as well as limited federal government contribution into the discussion of classifications and who runs what.

oh dear, y’all know i love my original characters! this one is very hard, but let’s come up with a list, shall we? check out my still in-construction writeblr @stellarisable to (eventually, i’m still working on coding & putting up all of my ocs stories & my worldbuilds) read up on them soon!

allen cooper - he’s one of my OG characters with a completely tragic love life because his wife died when their daughter was 8, & then his daughter & his’ relationship diminished since he’s a neurosurgeon & he couldn’t be around her all the time, BUT they’re getting better recently & have finally talked things over & went to therapy!!

tina jackson - my beautiful vitiligo baby who is a museum curator/historian who ended up with a big CEO because her friends pressured her into using a sugar daddy/sugar baby website & now they’re in love!! 

tedrick widthrow - wow, we’re going WAY back with this one. my OG most-developed OC who was torn away from their twin due to their parents being killed who goes on a hunt to find himself, his sister, & all the while making friends & falling in love. i haven’t touched him in years since he’s pretty much a retired oc. 

aurelius trueheart - my BABY! a clone of a human that was meant to be super soldier, he was forced into hiding because the society he was in will kill clones on the spot, & a woman (who was also my OC, whom i love very much) took him in to be a ‘paramour’ - or really, a very fancy sex worker. he ends up falling in love with a courier who is a MIA super soldier & eventually he can buy himself out of the club/brothel & live with her. 

marissa winters - allen’s wife who dies from a brain tumor, which is super goddamn sad, but!! she gets gifted by the gods (an original god pantheon i made) to become a minor god due to her creating a way to hop universes with technology, & she gets to visit & be with her husband again!

What comes to you to the easiest when you write - characters, settings, worldbuilding stuff, dialogue etc?

What's your favourite part of writing?

Ahhhh, I'm so sorry I haven't responded to this, but thank you for sending it, pun!

The easiest thing that comes to me is honestly characters! second is worldbuilding. I can conjure up a character within a few minutes with no problem, somehow. It's how I ended up with so many characters in my repertoire! It's genuinely a problem! :D Worldbuilding is second place. I can create a whole new world in my brain to work with really easily!

My favorite part of writing is finishing a writing piece. I struggle with finishing pieces, so when I do, it feels like a MAJOR triumph! Then being able to read it over and be in awe of it... best feeling in the world!

19. What is the most-used tag on your ao3?

It's probably going to be (canon character name)/original female character, because I LOVE writing canon/oc! it's my genuine favorite thing to write!

23. Best writing advice for other writers?

As someone whose been writing since I was about 8 years old, the best advice I can give to other writers is that you should write for yourself. If you love the topic you're writing about, it will show in your writing. Granted, it's always fun to write for an audience, and I'm not saying it's wrong to write for an audience. Just that the writing should come from a place that you love, too.

61. Why do you continue writing fics? Why, it's fun! I write fics (fanfiction and original fiction) because it's truly so fun to create a little world of whatever you want just by typing a conglomeration of words together to make up a beautiful story. Writing is something I'll never get tired of.

🏝 Hurricane - Do you often stick to one WIP and finish it, then move on, or do you bounce between WIPs?

Thank you for asking, pun! I so appreciate it.

Logically, it would make sense to stick to one WIP and go through the process of making it until it’s finished. At least to me, that is. However, my logic is that I like working on different WIPs at different times depending on how I feel! Why? Because why not! Sometimes I’m feeling one WIP for a little bit and then the next I work on another. I don’t believe in pushing myself to finish a piece if I don’t want to.
