Your Season Two Newsreader TV Week Scans!

Throughout the entirety of The Newsreader’s S2, I collected the TV Week for each of the six episodes and weeks. There’s something seriously special about collecting physical media for this show, I feel as though it honours the period the show is set in and how things were in that 1980s era. I have been sharing these on my Twitter and in the Discord for the show too, but I thought I’d pop them all on Tumblr too for easy accessibility. These are all scans of my actual magazines which I have taken the time to physically scan, edit and put together. As a result, please respect the watermarking on it and do not try to pass these off as your own. This also includes cropping certain sections out, like side panels or smaller interviews. It's been so hard choosing which 10th Lord in Jupiter Nakshatra natives to choose for the post portraits... I only have 12 spots and it's so annoying because there's so many iconic and beautiful people... Like I had this struggle a little bit with the others and it's probably my bias but it's so much harder this time... Although I've been glancing at the Saturn natives and it seems like that'll also be this hard, so maybe I'm just biased toward the outer planets in general...

The Newsreader Season Two scans in this week’s TV Week magazine (9th-15th September 2023)! WE’VE MADE THE MAJOR COVER IMAGE!!! 😱💖

Happy Newsreader S2 premiere week, everybody! We are now truly only days away from our magical evening! This morning I hopped, skipped and jumped into my local newsagents before work to get my hands on the latest issue of the TV Week. I can’t tell you how much my heart raced with excitement and joy seeing our Helen and Dale on the front cover. I picked up my issue shakily from the shelf and hugged it super tight to me as I paid for it quickly and pretty much ran down the street with joy. I just can’t describe HOW excited I am. What was even funnier was going to the supermarket after work and seeing a sea of Helen and Dale faces staring at me when I passed the checkouts. They are THE front and centre, and millions of Australians will be seeing their faces this week. It’s so overwhelmingly awesome!

I fought with my scanner when I got home and scanned all relevant pages for us. First two images are the front cover featuring Dale and Helen, and the first page featuring Stephen Peacocke (our Rob Rickards) in his RFDS role and YAY! A picture of Rob and Noelene as A COUPLE!!! 😍
