Starting on the anniversary of Raine's official debut in the show, Eda's Requiem on July 24th, we celebrate our favorite bard being a parental figure to our favorite human witch and Titan!

I put the kid each prompt is for in parentheses so everyone knows which topic belongs to which kid. When I say both, I mean both Luz and King should be interacting with Raine in that prompt.

Per usual event rules:

Any kind of media is welcome! This includes fanfic, fanart, edits, playlists, moodboards, and etc.

It is not required to do all prompts. Do what you can at your own pace; you can even submit stuff after the week is past. We'll still be happy to have your piece as part of the event.

Shipping Raine with the kids will NOT be tolerated!

Other characters and ships are welcome, but the focus of this week should be on Raine bonding with their new stepkids! We barely got any canon interactions between them, and the point of this is to create those interactions we missed.

I’m ALWAYS looking for Raine & King content and so little of it exists! Raine & Luz content is much appreciated too, but at least we got to see them meet in canon. With Raine and King we got nothing! You’re so right anon we *do* need to see more of Raine as a stepparent!

I'll try:

Eda and Raine obviously had romantic feelings for each other first. After Alador and Odalia starting distancing themselves from Darius, he spent way more time with Raine and Eda (who basically had to comfort him lol). And he started to get romantic feelings for both of them but not realizing it yet.

While working together in the rebellion Raine and Darius kinda had unspoken romantic tension going on, but neither acted on it. It wasn't until Raeda got back together that Darius finally realizes he has romantic feelings for them, but doesn't say anything about it.

Eda and Raine are actually the ones who pick up on that (or maybe just Raine since again, they're really observant) and "confront" him about the idea of them being in a poly relationship. (They both teasingly flirt with him at the same time and then after seeing his reactions to it they eventually ask him about it in a serious manner)

Then all three of them live in the Owl House together, sleeping and cuddling in the nest. Eda kisses the other two as they go off to work to do Coven Head duties or whatever.

Raine and Darius become stepparents. Hunter moves in alongside Darius of course so they have their kids Luz, King, and Hunter to raise. (Luz goes has a sister in the human world and then two brothers in the Boiling Isles)

And with Raine, Darius, and Hunter moving in Eda has to get rid of that "GIRLS ONLY and King" sign she had on the bathroom LMAO.

They can't use it until she does smh 😔

Luz, immediately upon seeing Puppet!Raine with Belos inside: I wanted a cool stepparent, not another episode of tragic mutual pining!! I already claimed the enemies to lovers storyline!

my ideal arrangement for hunter by the end of the show is that he officially becomes a clawthorne, stays at the owl house, and is apprenticed under dell to carve palismen.  eda adopts him; outwardly she says what the hell might as well add a third one LOL, but internally shes horrified to see how different he is now - the new scars, the missing bird palisman, the desolate look in his (brown?) eyes, and she knows that he needs her.  luz is SOOOOO happy abt it bc she basically already considered him her family but now its on paper that hes her brother!!!! surprisingly king is also v welcoming towards hunter... he finds out abt the grimwalker thing and after that he feels kinship w him due to similar origins and even tho he doesnt know the whole story he just senses that hunters been hurt a lot.  he is instantly just like U Are My Big Brother Now.  Hold Me.  and hunter responds uhhhh okay (hes crying bc kings fur is so soft and warm). BUT hunter is also p much unofficially adopted by darius and he sleeps over/visits him and eberwolf all the time.  he takes monthly trips to the human realm w luz to stay w camila for weeks at a time as well bc she was the first to take him in and taught him what a mother is and he loves her!! and raine becomes his stepparent by marriage.  everyone wins, hunter has multiple parents who love him dearly <3

How did you set up Dadrius Week? We need a Stepparent Raine week since there's so little Raine and Luz or Raine and King content.

Well, first I did an interest poll, you know, just an “interact with this post if this is something you’d want to participate in” kind of thing because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one doing it. I used Autodesk Sketchbook to make the promo poster and all of the day cards, but you can use any drawing/editing app of your choosing. I came up with the prompts, but you can also ask for suggestions if you can’t think of any/enough, someone will be able to think of something. And then just post and wait!

Okay, since people are interested in a Stepparent Raine Whispers Week, let's put the start date as July 24th since that's the anniversary of Raine's official debut in the show with "Eda's Requiem".

Now that the finale has aired, why don't we start coming up with suggestions for the themes in the week? Three for King and Raine, three for Luz and Raine, and one for all three together at the end of the week.

Drop any suggestions in my inbox, and we can sort through them in two-three weeks.

He scampered up the bard's leg to settle on their shoulder.

"You can. You guys are really nice together and you make Eda happy. So-- what do I call you now? If Eda's mom-- what does that make you, Raine Whispers?"

After everything that had happened, Raine was still recovering. Fighting off Belos' possession, after already having been turned into a puppet by the Collector, and then getting up and doing everything they could to keep Belos from infecting the Titan's heart had taken a lot out of them. They're no healer, but they're pretty sure that Belos is part of the reason their physical injuries have taken longer to heal.

Raine had been doing what they could to get the Owl House back to its former glory when Eda had made them go rest, refusing to give them any choice in the matter. They had sighed and, after trying to protest yet again, resigned themself to the fact that they were going to have to sit down for at least a little while.

Fiddlesticks was keeping an eye out for them, in case Eda or anyone else needed them, and they were "resting" when King approached them. He stood up to his full height, and even though he barely came up to the bard's knee, it felt like he inhabited more of the room than he physically should, perhaps due to his 'tall genes,' as Eda called them.

They smiled as King settled on their shoulder, but his question gave them pause. Raine hadn't fully intended to be a parent, not really, but they had decided that if they ever did, they'd adopt. And Eda and King were a package deal, so this was a very important question.

"I guess that makes me….your stepparent," they offered. "I mean, if things keep going well and Eda ever agrees," they added quickly, a flush spreading across their cheeks. They hadn't quite gotten that far, but…., they hoped they would.

"As for what you can call me," Raine added, a little frown on their face as they considered. It wasn't something they'd thought much about, since they hadn't planned to have kids, but they weren't exactly 'dad,' and they definitely weren't 'mom.'

"You could just call me Raine," they offered with a little smile. "But if you want something to go along with 'mom,' I'll have to get back to you on that one." They didn't want to blurt something out; this needed serious consideration. After all, if they were going to be helping look after King, they very definitely wanted his approval, too.

Could you do a small fic with Hawks x gn!reader where reader has constant nosebleeds, lack of vision, no motivation to even get out of bed and when they do the workd feels like its spinning and dizziness/lightheadedness when theyre standing for to long that even the smallest brush of wind could knock them over.

This has been going on with me for a little bit over 2 years now and me nor my aunt (who's a nurse) knows what's going on with me and I've fainted many times because of it, and Keigo is one of my biggest comfort charcters and it's embarrassing but him kinda being there when this is happening is just is oddly calming lmao

( 13. ) Hi! Hope your having a nice day! could I request a Hunter x Shapeshifter!reader just some hcs of Hunter w a reader who can turn into different animals and mimic people/voices and uses said abilities to be a menace and cause chaos just cuz they can no real reasoning behind it it’s just fun.

Also here’s some ideas I’ve had about reader for if you do choose to do this request that might help!

-> I feel like reader would probably be able to change their body to be able to take on like a half form of things so like they could give them-self ears or like wings (I personally rlly like wings) and depending on if they have a ‘Main form’ of sorts they could probably have some of the features of that thing like idk enhanced hearing or their good at being quiet/Sneaky.

-> Also I imagine that they might get like aches if they haven’t done it in a long while just based on the fact that in a way it’s like changing your bones/Bone structure if that makes sense so if they do it too much (Like an unhealthy amount like every single day for hours on end) Or haven’t done it in a long time they’d get aches n stuff
