#ffxivsnaps #gposers #ffxiv gpose #ffxiv oc #hyur #mygposes.#*shaking them like a fish in a bag*#it's not as visible with the durag but i changed their eyebrows (tenative) and got rid of the top part of their eyelashes #trying to find the perfect balance in their eyebrows. they're not arched and tweezed like their mother's #their eyebrows take more from their father by being bushy/thicker #i may have to go into blender and make the eyebrow mesh bigger or just change the shape in anam (at the risk of losing the RBF look)#also changed the color of their lips so it's less orange. i really enjoy how blended they look in these #i FINALLY figured out how to nerf the lip shine too. i'm still tweaking things to look more matte but it's not as prominent now #and elvashade continues to be my favorite reshade suite forever. 'into free' may just be my go-to shaders now

I'd probably have to read the printed version and web version back to back at some point to note all the differences but... ough

#sorry i'm going to be excited about this comic for the next month #nofna #okay having finished this now--#and sorry if this doesn't make sense to anyone who's completely unfamiliar with this comic in advance-#the 'popcorn ending' (printed version) is nice to see but i think the web version hits harder. if that makes sense #so i'm kinda tied on which ending i 'prefer'- i think both are good though #also considering i've read the web version a good 4-5 times and the printed version only once- i probably can't make that judgement yet #easy answer- i do like Nutsedge :] so it's nice to see the ending where nothing bad happens to her #but also- NT suddenly becoming a greenie-esque villain out of nowhere felt a little jarring #as well as SV suddenly turning a corner and becoming a 'good guy' (arguable)- considering the first three books are about #/him being too stubborn to change or accept any outside worldviews . Him suddenly coming to his senses felt out of place #<- probably biased because i like characters being bitter to the end and ultimately destroyed by their own hubris #the web version is probably‚ objectively‚ a bit better #but -#(spoilers- if you're planning to drop ~70 bucks on getting these books)#the conceit of SV actually perfecting his style‚ using it once‚ and then immediately getting tooth-brained- was pretty cool #assuming it's meant to parallel him spending months tormented by trying to perfect it while something's still missing-#and then dying before he can narrate it to the audience‚ so that we never know what he figured out.#hard to articulate these thoughts but tl;dr- popcorn ending also had a lot to think about

this is one of my favourite beastars scenes ever and i can't wait to see it animated in season 3... it's so cool to see how violent, almost sadistic legosi can be when it comes to protecting herbivores.

i think a lot of people characterize legosi as this shy sweet soft boy who never wants trouble, and while it's not completely inaccurate, i think it's missing on an important aspect of his character. how passionate he can get about herbivores, because he loves them, because he's attracted to them, because he longs for them but also wants to live alongside them.

as well as this scene in the hospital where seeing louis again makes legosi realise how he's not a picture-perfect hero who cares about "justice" and only fights because he has a fetish for herbivores. it just reiterates what kind of character and protagonist he is. and like louis says—it doesn't detract from his heroism or make him a worse person. it's still alright to call it justice, because your fetishes are still a part of who you are.

i love it so much. legosi is such a sweet and kind-hearted person but he can also be like this because of his own "pervertedness". and i can't wait to see how the show will animate it (and hope to god they don't ruin it >_<)

ooooh, yeah, a cat would make sense with the claws too! I think it is supposed to either be cat or wolf, dogs don't tend to get the claw theming like that. 🤔 honestly, Diend is SO opposite from anyone I had speculated on for the furryboy that it is hilarious and I genuinely love this surprising new direction for him. they made (half of) W a catboy, why not Diend too?

(Siz seems pretty far removed from Daiki as a character, but I would kind of love it if he was also a thief, just...in the background. it never actually comes up in the story, he just occasionally leaps in through a window covered in jewels and this is never remarked upon once.)

modern family is all fun and games until you get to the scenes where you burst into tears because the once-vaguely homophobic dad now refers to his son's husband as family, and also the academically gifted daughter realizes that her dorky, clumsy dad was always really proud of her and just never surprised because he just assumed she could do anything, and also the eldest daughter who eloped comes crawling back to her parents' room and whispers that she still wants her parents to be present for her wedding, and also the anxious queer lawyer character admits that he was terrified that his husband would just leave him alone with their baby daughter, and also that the once-vaguely grouchy dad looks at his stepson and tells him that what makes a family is who sticks around, not who you're blood-related to and anyways what was i saying

Funny how all it takes is a couple of conversations with a cis straight man about gender to make me go "yup I'm definitely not cis"

#listen I adore my stepfather ok but he's got a pretty traditional view of gender #he's very respectful of others and doesn't enforce it on anyone else #and I think it's not that toxic all things considered bc he sees 'manhood' as being primarily about being hard working and protecting other #but it's still very gender essentialist #and he sees a lot of things as 'man things' and 'woman things'#and talks about skills and roles that are 'men's'#and I'm just like well but I do a lot of those things. but I identify with a lot of the things you describe.#and he tries to go around it like 'ahh well but you have personal history with that' etc etc #we get along really well tho we don't fight or anything but it's interesting to me #it makes me realize just how much I'm outside of the binary in the eyes of cis people #and how much 'trying to be a man' or 'trying to be a woman' are things that hold no emotional meaning to me(personally)#I could not care less what makes me masculine or feminine or if either of those labels are revoked for some reason #taking on the label of woman or man feels like a burden to me bc it always comes with a set of expectations #I just wanna be me yk. I just want people to see me through the lens of 'this is a person'#'this is what this person likes. this is how this person behaves'#I just wanna turn off gender. can I do that? like just flip a switch and no one perceives me as anything anymore #in a perfect world maybe #sleep.txt #I honestly still don't fully understand how I feel about gender but. I know that I don't like being put into a box #the box is Evil.
