GETTING AROUND TUMBLR SEARCH DESIGN?

YOU WANT TO SEARCH FOR "red stims", but can only find posts tagged specifically "#red stims" and not both posts tagged "#red" and "#stim"? FEAR NOT. solution.

Search "#red #stim". This works. yay. works for anythign else too "#glow #stim" or whatever. Without quotes but With hashtags + spaces. This works for now

I like to help stim blogs by finding misplaced or missing gif sources in stimboards. If you want a missing gif or gifs sourced, send it my way and I'll do my best to find it!

All gif makers, stim blogs, and anyone in the stim community may interact with me. I am a resource for all of you and I do not discriminate.

Follow the tag "the gentle sourcerer" to see all my important posts!

If you request my sourcing services through an ask, your answered ask will be tagged as "visitor: @/your username". If you ask on anon, it will be tagged as "anonymous visitor". This is for your convenience if you lose the post with the sources I have provided for you or if you simply need to refer to them again.

A tag I use, called "commonly misplaced gif sources" will contain popular gifs I find the sources of for others and for myself. If you have a gif you cannot seem to find the source for and you know it may be popular, please have a look in that tag. For a more finely tuned search, add a simple descriptive keyword to the end of "commonly misplaced gif sources", for example "slime", "resin shakers", "soap cutting", etc., as I do add one or two identifying tags for these gifs so they can be found more easily. I will only put sources in this tag that are commonly stolen or misplaced.

The same rules apply for the tag "found sources". This tag is a catch-all tag strictly for all sources I have been requested to find, common or not, mostly so I can keep up with them in the event I need to refer back to them.

If a previously undiscovered source is found by myself or someone else, the original post in which my services were requested will be reblogged under "gentle updates", equipped with fresh links to the gifset in question and/or the original source video.

Any gifsets I create to replace old or lost gifs can be found in the tag "jacinth's gifsets".

The tag "source lists" refers to stimboards I have found most of or all the gif sources for, usually on request of others. I sometimes will do this as a courtesy as well. For stimboards I have only been asked to find one or a few sources for, they will be tagged as "re sourcing" and "links", though the links tag is more broad.

In the event I find gifs that have been purposefully stolen, as in re-posted for notes while lacking credit, I will tag them as "stolen gifs". This does not apply to stim blogs typically, I use this tag mainly for non-stim focused accounts that re-post gifs to farm interactions or to act as note bait for their own blogs.

And for all other asks of the non-sourcing variety, I use the tag "kind visitors".

I use the tag "gentle discussions" to chat with others about problems or trends within the stim community. I also use the tag "gentle reblogs" for posts I made for other purposes that received a response from the sender to which I will have reblogged with a new response.

Two very reliable resources I use for finding deleted or deactivated gif sources are the blogs @deletedstimgifs and @old-web-stims. Please visit them if you're struggling to find a source you know has been deleted, and simply search the deactivated user's name in their search bar.

Icons (matching, pride, themed, shaped, hair and eye color changes... ask and i'll see what i can do!), headers, banners, moodboards, layouts, stimboards (current preference!), simple replycons (may be selective on these!), wallpapers, song mv gifs, psds (for a character or a card set !)

Please specify the website for layouts and the dimension for wallpapers!

For layouts and icons, specify whether you want simple ones (no editing necessary, just a psd), intermediate ones (some overlays on top of official art + psd, not much editing besides that) or complex ones (might take a bit longer, will only accept 3 requests of these at a time!) Also on these, please say if you'd prefer transparent versions of it and i'll make sure to include one of each for layouts and three for icons! If there's nothing specified, I'll do what I feel would look best ^^

Also on the topic of icons, if you go to ‹🩵//: ame templates you can get some templates I have for icons! Since the only thing I have to do in these is to arrange the png and then psd, they might get done quicker than others :3

I may sometimes work with genshin, however, i am extremely selective on what characters to edit, please be aware of that.

What in Hell is Bad, Izumako, Ramujaku, romantic Ibahaji, Rei Amayado, any franchise that is anime only (i can't quite edit it properly, so i'd rather not deliver something of lower quality), problematic content and ships in general. In general, if someone requests something from there or when requests for something are closed, ill immediately delete the ask, sorry! Otherwise, I shall give an explanation ^^

I will not use any fanart for editing. This is more of a personal preference thing but yeah!

Anything I'm uncomfortable with doing will be denied. Please be patient after requesting! While some requests are easy for me to do, others take a little bit more from me...

Always credit if you're using something and ask if you want no me/id or f/o tags!!! Sometimes, requests from the whitelist may have priority, but i usually try to go in order!!!

When requesting, please try to type properly and with no typing quirks. Mod has a hard time understanding some of them, so it'd be appreciated if you could do so! ^^
