Today, despite being @tmhalliday birthday, she let me attend the Albany @recordriotsrock . Out of respect I stayed less than an hour. My two favorite finds are featured here. First is @lydia.lunch.official “Stinkfist” which I already own on CD, but really wanted on vinyl as well. Second is the single “Kookie, Kookie, Lend Me Your Comb.” It’s one I’ve sought for 20 years and it was even in original picture sleeve(I wasn’t even expecting to find one with the sleeve). Other finds includes Lydia Lunch and Thurston Moore “The Crumb”, “The Boys Next Door”(basically the precursor to “The Birthday Party”… and a few singles. Amongst the singles I bought were a few Shangri-las discs on Red Bird, Johnny Cash “A Boy Named Sue”, and Lavern Baker “Jim Dandy.” Great time.
