Drawn for @aroacemotherfucker’s request for the Byler Gift Exchange 2022. Their prompt was “I don’t really have any ideas, go wild!”, so after having no clue where to start, I drank half a litre of milk, after which my brain went [wild -> jungle -> trees -> plants -> *plants* 👀] and here we are.

I’m super proud of this drawing, considering I haven’t worked with markers in a while, so here’s a snapshot of my ✨planning sheets✨ for this, alternate eyes and all:

byler s5 headcanon that will does a lot of rollerskating and starts to become more confident and outgoing bc hes been going to clubs and meeting more queer people outside of his comfort zone. mike has been brought to the dark side by the metalheads, with a choppy black mullet , baggy clothes , piercings and black makeup. their aesthetics are completely opposite but will still brings mike to the roller rink and he sticks out like a sore thumb because of the clash of his spikes and dark colours with will's bright disco attire that matches the entire style of everyone else at the rink

also headcanon that what i just said above is the complete opposite oh my god imagine if will turned goth. bro listens to the cure ..... thats so goth swag of him <3
