Back in the day, I’d give a lot to men so they felt appreciated and admired. In return I’d be ghosted, benched, mucked about, gaslighted or men that sat back and received.

I was zapped dry by these one-sided, emotionally unhealthy relationships and then I’d obsess about why they weren't reciprocating my level of interest.

I wasted a lot of time on the emotionally unavailable. Exhausting and painful.

Nowadays, I’m in a different vibe.

I work on being the Queen of my own Kingdom AND I ALLOW the good people, good times and best opportunities to find me. AND they always do.

These four words shift our focus from actively pursuing someone or something to letting things unfold naturally, waiting for the right opportunity or person to choose us.

It's not about being passive or waiting for things to happen. It's about alignment and being proactive in our growth. It's being open to opportunities and people that align with our values and goals.

Here are some possible ways to apply this idea:

Relationships ♥️:

Instead of chasing after someone and not reciprocating our feelings, focus on living our best life and cultivating our happiness. When we’re happy and confident, we attract people who match us well.

Careers 💪:

Instead of applying to every job opening or chasing clients, focus on developing skills, showing up as best as possible and building our network. Our expertise and work ethic is our most significant credential, so the right people instantly know we are right for them.

Personal Growth 🧘‍♂️

Instead of chasing external validation or trying to meet others' expectations, focus on developing our values and goals. When we’re living authentically and following our path, we’ll attract people who share our values and respect our choices.

It's about letting go of attachment.

When we’re constantly chasing after something, it can create a sense of attachment and desperation that can be off-putting to others.

Focusing on our development and letting go of attachment to specific outcomes cultivates a sense of ease and confidence that can be attractive to others.

This ethos works everytime. But it's essential to balance being proactive and being open to what unfolds naturally.
